Very disappointed with a recent visit. They mistreated my wife and 3 year old son -- tossed out their food when they were using the restroom and still had their personal belongings at the table. Right before they used the restroom, we asked the waitress for a Togo box. So with personal belongings, an empty Togo box and full plates of food on the table, the wait staff tossed everything away. When we asked about it the waitress just said "huh". No apology, no restitution just pure ignorance. And we even tipped. Been a customer since 2007. Never coming back. To hell with this place. Rude!

They changed business name to Wei's Cafe. The seating is open and causally comfortable for a HK style cafe. They have an extensive breakfast selection as well as lunch menu. The service is usually order at the cashier, or if you dine-in, they can serve you at the table.Gan Ba Chicken Wing is a MUST have 10/5Traditional HK style food, amazing baked rice and spaghetti selection with Milk tea and Thai ice tea on the beverage menu. A wide range of pan fried noodles and rice dishes. If you are craving for some solid HK style food, you will be happy to come here.

Came here after a long run and it filled me up! Good: - The curry laksa soup was amazing! - The baked pork chop was also amazing - so much flavor - The portion sizes and prices were great- we even took home almost the whole dish since we had so much food left over. - The place is super clean and modern inside, super cute and nice fairy lights and tons of seating, no wait Bad: - The food took a little bit to get to us, and it was really cold inside on a super cold day - The servers don't speak great english so it's a bit hard to communicate Overall would come again for the value.

The food was amazing! Priced well and perfect amount as well! Service was also great! We were seated quickly and ordered smoothly. I tried the chicken with garlic noodles and really enjoyed the chicken and noodles. The side salad was okay but gave a little bit of refreshment every few bites, contrasting the denser chicken/noodles. I would come again to try more of their expansive menu!

We wanted to try the taqueria on Ocean Avenue but they were closed. This cafe was about a block away so we decided to eat here instead. Food was delicious! I liked my garlic noodle dish with chicken. Downside was they only take cash, supposedly the credit card machine was not working.

Review update. Looks like the last time I reviewed this place was 9 years ago, they've changed over the years. Chinese, Vietnamese and now Chinese and Vietnamese. Don't come here to be wowed. But if you come here hungry and you're looking to get decent food for a fair price, this is the spot for you. The over rice specials are the way to go. The Mongolian beef is my favorite. But watch out for those raw onions.

Gee, the only Jo Jo I know is the guy from Tucson, Arizona, who moved to California to smoke grass. The Beatles introduced us. Get back, get back. Get back to where you once belonged. Get back Jo Jo. Now I'm not sure if the owners are into the Beatles, but they sure like to serve an extensive selection of Chinese, Vietnamese, and American comfort food. It's been here on Ocean Avenue for years, but I only just recently stopped by for the first time. It really took me a while to scan the menu since it ran the gamut from breakfast specials to chow fun. I decided to try the $11.95 Grilled Pork Garlic Noodle Plate. It was quite a huge plate with a big pile of garlic noodles to go with the marinated pork sprinkled with sesame seeds. It came with a sweet dipping sauce, a side salad, and a fried imperial roll (photo: https://bit.ly/3Ll0GNf). That was quite a hefty amount of food, but I presume that's what Jo Jo is known for in this Hong Kong-style cafe. That must've been the reason there was a steady stream of locals picking up takeout orders. Get back, get back. Get back to where you once belonged.FOOD - 4 stars...a pile of tasty albeit greasy comfort foodAMBIANCE - 4 stars...pleasantly decorated for a greasy spoonSERVICE - 3.5 stars...a bit brusque but fast enoughTOTAL - 4 stars...get back Jo JoRELATED - Exploring beyond the Outer Mission? Order this today and they were both terrible! Chicken tastes old and rubbery. Beef stew is barely beef and is made with expired ingredients. Waste of money and time.
