Had a terrible experience with Jasmine and her team. We paid thousands of dollars for a beautiful wedding cake that did not taste good. The flavor combination we agreed upon was not delivered and the cake was quite dry. Worst of all, Jasmine was rude and defensive when we shared our feedback. I would not recommend working with her if you care about serving something delicious for an important event. This was the worst vendor I've encountered by far.

The most exquisite cake designer! All her work is a piece of art. Our wedding cake turned out to be better than what we could have imagined. Supreme! Jasmine's consultation was a relaxing interview to understand the couple's personality, history and expectations. She asks you to pick a few designs you like from her repertoire of unique and over-the-top designs. Check out her work! I have never seen any cake so beautiful as ours...the details are so intricate...and the bow looks like it was made out of fabric. Amazing!If you are looking for a one-of-kind piece of art, then contact Jasmine. And the flavor combos are exotic. At the tasting, she and her assistants give a few samples of what you select, and suggest some really interesting flavors. We went with the one she suggested. The customer service after our initial meeting was less than desirable as Jasmine went on vacation and her assistants were transitioning out, but in the end, they delivered the cake that was a dream!

For my 21st birthday, my roommates and best friends chipped in to get me the best cake to celebrate my transition from Princess Surge into Queen Surge.Where did they get the cake suited for my taste? Jasmine Rae! When the cake came out I was convinced it was a real pineapple mounted on a plaque. I was amazed by the detail in color and shape. I could tell they got this cake from an amazing bakery.Not only did the cake look amazing, it tasted just as great. Since it was a 3D pineapple, the pieces were enormous and there was plenty left after my party of 20 had a slice. The cake was rich with chocolate, dessert wine, and strawberry preserves. By far it was the best cake I have ever received.I look forward to going to this bakery and repaying my roommates with their own Jasmine Rae original.

Jasmine Rae created my dream wedding cake. Having studied pastry arts, my wedding cake was a big priority for me in my wedding planning. Jasmine created the most unique and beautiful cake that matched the spirit and vibe of my wedding perfectly. And we picked really unique flavors that were meaningful to my and my groom's heritage and family backgrounds. She embraced our vision for a bold and colorful wedding cake and brought it to life and made it even better than we could have hoped for. It wasn't just a stunning statement and work of art, it tasted fantastic too! She was professional, reliable, responsive and worked with our budget. I can't wait to have another event to celebrate and order one of her beautiful cakes for again.

Jasmine Rae- A pleasure to work with, and you'll receive interesting flavors that I doubt you will find anywhere else! I purchased a 30 cupcake deal via DailyCandy, and called Jasmine to place the order 2 weeks before the date. She informed me that I could either choose one flavor, or she could do a random assortment. I opted for the random assortment, and let her know it was for a kid's birthday, so we would prefer flavors that little kids could enjoy as well.I threw away the box where she wrote down the flavors, but from what I can remember they were--Lemon Cupcake w/ Lemon Curd and Meringue Frosting-Raspberry Cupcake with Marscapone Frosting Topped w/ Chocolate Chips-Chocolate Salted Caramel Cupcake-I think a Chocolate Cupcake w/ Cinnamon FrostingMy favorite was the raspberry cupcake, since it had actual raspberries in the cake!! A lot of people like the lemon cupcake and the chocolate salted caramel cupcake, and I had many inquiries as to where I purchased the cupcakes. I wish that Jasmine Rae had a storefront so that I didn't have to purchase at least 1 dozen of her fabulous cupcakes at a time, but her baked goods are definitely worth a try!

Jasmine Rae is a visionary artist and we are so thankful she created the wedding cake beyond our dreams. Our consultation appointment in her super cool studio was so much fun... delicious, too! While sampling four different, high-quality delicious flavors she had baked that day, together we designed a gorgeous, natural, unique wedding cake full of inspiration. It combined elements of our venue in the rice paper frosting, a unique square tiered asymmetrical shape that harkened back to a private memory, and the beauty of the surrounding natural environment of our wedding location. The cake speaks for itself... it is exactly as we designed and her hand spun sugar California Poppies were even more gorgeous than we envisioned. We saved the top tier, where it is secured with extra packing tape because we are so tempted to get another taste before our one year anniversary... which will make the day even more special!

Jasmine Rae went above and beyond in creating an AMAZING wedding cake for my wedding this past summer! We had the pleasure of meeting her at her studio the week of our wedding to do a tasting of the concoction we had planned over the phone. Living in Colorado and planning a destination wedding in SF was stressful enough, but Jasmine had our back! We had an initial consultation over the phone where Jasmine was able to get to know us. After a brief phone call, she was able to design and create a beautiful masterpiece that will be remembered for the rest of our lives She created a dirty coconut cake with an almond frangipan and passionfruit curd that was OMG spectacular and shaped like a rough, block of wood with flowers growing out of the top of it! I can report that after the cake was cut and distributed that there was not a simple crumb left on anyone's plate at our reception. In addition, almost everyone proclaimed it to be the best cake that they had ever eaten in their lives (myself included)!I am not the biggest fan of sweets, and Jasmine represented the cake so amazing well that the flavor profiles really came through instead of an overpowering sense of sugary sweet. Lastly, the design of the cake was so phenomenal that it blew everyone's minds! It was so well designed and built, that the photographers actually mistook the cake for a reception prop and had to go back in to take pictures of the cake. I would not re-do the decision to go with Jasmine Rae Bakery at all! Her cake performed so well and was everything that I could have asked for and more! Working with Jasmine was an incredible experience and was one of our favorite parts of the whole two years wedding planning. It started with the design consultation, which was so much fun. Jasmine asked not just about our preferences but about who were as as people and as a couple. She is extremely insightful and after listening patiently and drawing out our personalities, she came up with some awesome ideas the really felt like they represented the core of ourselves and our relationship. We learned about ourselves that day and she made us feel so seen.Once we had a design in mind we worked through size and pricing. For a wedding cake prices were in the mid thousands, which sounds expensive for a cake but we believe is an *extremely* fair price given what you get (especially considering other places in the wedding industry charge through the nose for much less). The price covers a full custom sculpture as well as the incredible design experience mentioned above, a tasting session and high-end flavor experience, and transport. Jasmine took care to work with our budget and gave us a variety of options trading size vs. amount of cake vs. number of flavors in order to get us something we were happy with at a price we were happy with. Then we got to do the flavor tasting, which was ....goodness. We tried three flavors, all of which were unique and delicious and exactly what we had described wanting to try. Jasmine was more than willing to work with us to incorporate minor changes to one of the flavors, and we ended up going with all three. Throughout the process, both Jasmine and her assistant were polite and professional. When we arrived, the cake was set up beautifully. We quite literally gasped when we saw the way the light shone through the petals. It was so perfectly us and felt like an extension of our love. It was a top 10 wedding moment.The first bite was amazing, and the flavors were just as good as we expected from the tasting. Everyone really enjoyed it. At the end of the night, we did have some trouble figuring out how to get the top (styrofoam) half of the cake home, but eventually managed to transport it carefully back. Jasmine gifts both the styrofoam portion and the cake stand to you as part of the package, and the fondant does not go bad so you can keep the sculpture forever. It now adorns our living room.Thank you so much Jasmine for this incredible experience and for memories that will last a lifetime!

Jasmine is far more than your average baker; she is a true artist! After having to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, my husband and I scrambled to plan our wedding once California changed its wedding guidance in 2021. With only a few months until our wedding, we reached out to Jasmine hoping she could pencil us in for our small art museum wedding in San Francisco. Not only did she manage to fit us in, but she went above and beyond with the cake she delivered! Knowing her level of skill, we happily accepted Jasmine's offer to surprise us with the design of our cake. We explained the flavors we wanted (a chocolate espresso flavor for my husband and a chai, roasted apples and feta flavor for me), our love of the water when we travel, our preference for a unique design that incorporates a marble look (since our venue has marble throughout) and our desire to have the cake look like a work of art you'd find in our venue, and WOW, did she deliver!!! Not only was the cake delicious (and all edible, including the amazing sculpted fish detail!), but it was the talk of our wedding and our favorite element from our reception. If we lived in San Francisco, we'd regularly order cakes from Jasmine; that's how impressed we were. Do not hesitate to choose Jasmine for your special day!!!
