Sweet & sour spareribs. Paid a few dollars more for egg fried rice instead of plain white rice. Not sure the upgrade was worth it.

First of, the food tasted delicious. I personally had the corn and mushroom with chicken dumplings and I was extremely satisfied. The dumplings come with 12 hefty pieces and is genuinely a great value for its price. The red bean soup was also delicious, it wasn't too sweet and was a great end note for the meal. My friend and I came in at around 12 and waited about 10 minutes to come in. The place is fairly small and was packed which I think caused the service to be a bit slow. I think it's reasonable for how busy it was though. My one gripe, which is pretty minor, is that the presentation of the food is a bit lacking. Specifically the dumplings came in a plain white plate which looked bland visually and a bit unappetizing at first.

Finally had a chance to have lunch here after the renovations! I've been eating at the larger, old Washington Bakery/Hon's 2nd location for the past couple years so was anxious to visit after the recent renovations! :0)My friend and I really liked the fresh, new decor and inviting atmosphere. They did a fantastic job renovating to make this old small "hole in the wall" restaurant into a much more appealing venue! Great job! The menu is much smaller than their bigger 2nd restaurant on Washington St, but we were still very happy with their menu options here! Unfortunately, everything pretty much came out all at once. We would have preferred to start out with the Rice Noodle Rolls/Gee Cheurng Fun and Fried Onion Pancakes. Instead, our Won Ton Noodle soups arrived 1st. Since the restaurant is such a small space, I totally understand why they need to cook everything as fast as they can to get lunch crowd turnover at this venue. However, we never felt rushed and we were lucky to get the table by the front window so it was nice, roomy and calm without a lot of customers going in and out past us. Always grab the front table by the window if you can! :0)Our Won Ton Noodle Soups were served piping hot and delicious! Veggies, Rice Noodle Rolls and Fried Onion Pancakes were very tasty as well. Note: The fried onion pancakes take a while because they are cooked to perfection, please be patient! Thank you for the wonderful lunch! We can't wait to return! :0)

Quick service, delicious food. There's another location two blocks down that is apparently more crowded but has a more extensive menu, so my friend and I came here instead to catch up over Cantonese food!Their wontons were delicious! Pan fried onion pancake was crispy and delicious. I liked that it wasn't too salty and perfectly crispy. My friend preferred eating it with chili oil which is provided to you at your table. The rice noodle roll was okay; not the thinnest nor smoothest rice noodle rolls. Overall friendly service and decent food :)

Five star for the salted fish fried rice. The best I've ever had. Wonton BBQ pork noodle was just so so even though everybody loves it. It's very Hong Kong style. The green onion pancake was also one of the best. The Shanghai pan fried dumpling not enough juice inside. The fried chicken wing was well loved by my son. HK milk tea was good!I will try the vermicelli bitter melon beef next time and also the fried intestine.

I have not been here in years (definitely pre-Yelp) so was happy to come back here. The place is relatively small, but they use an electronic ordering and payment system so there are a few modern elements. We started with potstickers (very solid) and then ordered the BBQ pork wonton noodle soup and the fish ball and beef brisket noodle soup. Noodles are super thin and light (not overcooked). BBQ pork and wonton were plentiful in the order. Same for the fish balls and beef brisket. Overall, this is a solid place for noodle soup. They had some rice plates as well, but they are well entrenched in the noodle soup lane.

Still a 5 star for me. The best wonton soup in SF.This location served more flavorful broth than the one on Washington st. The menu is shorter too. I discovered that they had chee chong fun (the rice roll) here. It's exactly like how I had it in Singapore. It brought back great memories. Definitely a must try.

Hun's Wun Tun has two locations, both in Chinatown of San Francisco. We got the beef tripe, signature won ton noodle soup, green onion pancakes, and spicy won tun. The beef tripe was seasoned well, and the tripe tasted fresh when we had them. The won ton noodle soup was a bit soggy, and the noodles were not as bouncy as I usually prefer. I also found the broth a bit on the milder and bland side. The scallion pancakes came out hot and were crispy on the edges and soft on the inside, and they were my favorite out of the dishes we ordered. The spicy dumplings in chilli oil were delicious. They were hot and soft when we they came out, and the spicy, szechuan sauce was also good. The service was very fast and efficient, and we got all our food quite fast. Overall, the menu has many options, but I do think there are some dishes that shine more than other.

鮮蝦雲吞面 Signature Wunton Noodle Soup ($11.50)+Noodles were chewy+Thin wonton wrappers+Large shrimp pieces in filling-Soup and filling were salty-There were only 5 wontons (a picture on the wall showed 6, but we only received 5)牛什撈麵 Beef Organ Over Noodle ($13.95)+Noodles were chewy+Diverse mixture of organs not commonly seen elsewhere (intestines, pancreas, tripe-For some reason, this dish tasted slightly bitter. Not sure if it was from the meat, noodles, or sauce but it wasn't pleasant.-This was also salty and the bowl of soup on the side just added more saltWe received free tea and the restaurant was relatively clean, but the servers kept rushing us to order. Also, it was interesting how you had to go through the kitchen and down a flight of stairs to get to the bathroom.*Verdict: Considering there are so many Chinese restaurants in SF that serve tastier food for less, I wouldn't come back.

Great spot for a quick bowl of soup noodles, love that this spot has some tasty beef tripe which you don't usually find in restaurants as it's definitely not for the squeamishWontons were nice and full, pork and shrimp inside. MSG was present but not overpowering, I wouldn't suggest drinking all the soup thoughNoodles nice and chewy, not soft.Recommend to use the vinegar and hot chilli oil.Service was quick and attentive

Everyone around me had been boasting about the wonton noodles soup from this place. I finally had the opportunity to try it. I ordered the beef brisket wonton rice noodles soup. The beef brisket, rice noodles (I ate egg noodles from my husband's bowl, they were delicious), and services were great. Brisket passed the test of not sticking to teeth. The okays: the wontons and soup. They were not amazing but at least I didn't feel thirsty after eating. The surprise: their chili sauce, it tasted really good, fragrant and spicy with a kick. The ladies working the place at lunch time were efficient and polite. Fair price for a downtown lunch.
