I love the noodles at this shop and was disappointed. They were closed for two weeks for holiday vacation. It is in a troubled neighborhood, but it's worth giving them a visit and enjoying their spring rolls and beef stew tomato with yellow noodles. I love the fact they do have any music in the background so you can hear the other people slurping

Food: 4Decor: 3Service: 4Came here for a quick dinner since it's been one of my bookmarks for a while. Overall solid spot for a quick bite and would come by again.Braised Duck Legtender, fall off the bone braised duck leg garnished with green onions, cilantro, fried garlic, and served with pickled vegetables on the side4/5. Duck was very tender and fell off the bone, and the wide noodles were tasty and cooked perfectly. Also enjoyed the pickled veg on the side.Service was great. Big fan of mom and pop shops.

Came here on a Sunday, seated quickly. Very good noodle soups, we got 3 different kinds. Hot soymilk was also very good. Friendly workers, food came out fast.Neighborhood: it is located in the terderloin so not the greatest neighborhood but I felt perfectly safe and worth it for the good food!

The type of local family owned restaurant that makes the SF food scene special! Really love the quality of the food here. Service is fast and food comes out piping hot and fast. Love the simple plain egg noodle wonton soup, and it is probably my favorite wonton soup in the city.

Classic San Francisco Hai Ky Noodles. What I would consider a war zone outside, inside is a noodle mecca. A home away from home this place has always taken care of its patrons. The reason , it's a mom's and pops store that CARES. One of the few places that's still open from when my grandparents brought me serving the same dishes has a special place in my heart. Today I ordered a combination with wontons with THICK egg noodle and soup on the side,

Yummy clear broth and delicious wontons. We got the special with wonton, ground pork, fish cakes and shrimp with egg noodles. The dish tasted home made and really warms the soul. Service was great too and our food came out pretty fast. They also have pickled jalapeños, yum!

Food: (5/5)This place is hands down my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. Serving a wide range of Vietnamese-Chinese dishes, this has been my go-to place to get my all time favorite noodles.#7 Mi Hai Ky: (5/5) This is absolutely a must have when visiting. They have various options for toppings/meat and noodles. My personal favorite would definitely have to be the wide egg noodles with the soup on the side. Nothing beats stopping by for a fresh warm bowl of noodles and soup. **Pro Tip: Ask for extra oil with the noodles for extra flavor! (Thank me later)** Cafe Den (Iced Vietnamese Coffee): (4/5)A little too bitter for my taste personally, but still very strong. A great option for a pick me up for the inevitable food coma.Service: (5/5)Hai Ky is a family owned business. The manager, Amy, is very friendly and personable. I love how they are able to customize any dish as there are certain toppings I don't like with my noodles and they are more than happy to make accommodations. That plus the fact that they take credit card here have definitely sealed the deal for me and made this place my go-to, no brainer. The dishes also comes out fairly quickly. Ambiance: (4/5)My only downside to Hai Ky would have to be their location. Although extremely conveniently located which makes it easy to stop by, it is within Tenderloin which often deters people. Despite this, I have never encountered any issues whether going alone/in a group or with street parking. In addition, there are occasionally a few small flies around the restaurant, but they never interfere with my food.

This restaurant is one of my childhood places. My family has been coming here for over 20 years. A must get is their soy milk, we love it hot especially on the cold sf days. My mom loves ordering their fried fish cake, and you can't go wrong with their fried egg rolls.I've grown up getting their combination bowl dry with thick yellow noodles. I love the soup that comes on the side. Combo-ed with their chili, soy sauce, and home-pickled jalopenos as dipping. You have a meal that is so so good. I haven't found any other viet/chinese places that make dry noodle dishes like this so I find myself constantly craving. Parking can be difficult in the TL, but this place is too good not to try, they taste great to-go so I always either take my left overs or order more for another meal during the week.

I've been ordering from this place for well over a year now and have recommended it to friends and coworkers whom also end up loving this place. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to actually visit their location for the first time! Amy, the owner was very sweet! I always get the House Special with thin egg noodles! Very straightforward menu and slightly busy spot but I'm glad to see them doing so well! Truly one of SF's gems! (Try asking for their pickled veggies, too!)

Hai Ky is located in the heart of the Tenderloin, which for some is a no-go territory, but as I have started exploring more and more of it, you find so many terrific restaurants despite the rough surroundingsI ordered a pork kidney noodle soup, #14 on the menu. The broth itself is very flavorful. The texture of the noodles are just right. The protein, the pork kidneys, are not pungent at all and have great texture as well.If you are craving teo chew noodles, this is definitely a top pick and I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes and noodles they have
