Habibi's Birria

Love how close this is to the office downtown to get lunch with friends or co-workers.Stopped by today for the birria burrito, but decided to get 3 tacos with gyro meat. Was that off the secret menu? Wow! You get the best of Mex & Med flavors in this dish & definitely will have to return to take the photo & try other unique surprises.Thanks for the great service, hope to be back again soon!

Stopped by for some birria, and here's the breakdown:Birria with ConsoméThe consomé was refreshingly good--light yet flavorful. I would've loved a bit more spice to give it that extra kick. The meat, unfortunately, was a bit tough, but it was served with a friendly smile, and the wait time was super quick at around 5 minutes.Rice & BeansThe rice had nice seasoning but was slightly hard. The beans were great, and I appreciated the cheese on top--a nice touch. Just a pinch more salt, and they'd be perfect.QuesabirriaNot quite as flavorful as my last visit, but still enjoyable overall.I'd definitely come back for the friendly service and quick turnaround. A little refinement on the flavors and textures would make this spot even better!

Perfect spot for a quick lunch during the work week. Ample seating and bright lighting.I'm intrigued by the fusion of Mexican and Mediterranean food, but this place makes it make sense. Ordered the quesabirria tacos. Food came quickly and hot with two sauces + consommé, and a side of radishes. Service was super friendly. Looking forward to coming back and trying their Mediterranean menu.

This is a real tough place to have a business. Despite that, their Burrito with shrimp is great. They also have other meat options that others ate but I loved the shrimp. I could eat it daily. The place is small but clean and the waitress was friendly and helpful. The cook even came out to say hi when I told the waitress I liked the food. I gave both a monetary tip on top of my purchase price because they're in a tough location but providing great food in a friendly but professional manner. I'd Definitely go back! We chose to pick up our order and ate elsewhere not because of Habibis but due to the outside street vibe. Five stars for food and service. I'd remove one star for street ambiance but Habibis can't control that so I left it at 5!

Better than I expected. We were going to see a musical at the Orpheum. We walked a few blocks and found this place. I tried a gyro with lamb and the taco de birria. Both were really good. The place was clean and the service was friendly.

Stopped by before a show at the Warfield next door. We ordered for pickup and they were very quick! Delicious tacos!

Delicious! Mexi-Mediterranean meal included some of the best falafel, hummus, babaganoush I've enjoyed in SF. Best of all, I didn't have to choose which cuisine--I had a birria taco AND a Mediterranean veggie plate. SO tasty and so filling.

This place has awesome birria as well as great falafel and other middle eastern dishes. Super fresh made to order and the serving sizes are really generous.

When I saw this spot open. I was curious about it. I went and unfortunately I was unable to try the food. I was in the area and wanted to try this place but they were not open. They updated their hours on Yelp two weeks ago stated they would be open at 11 am. They posted their hours on their door it said they would open at 11am. I went there at 11:30~11:40 am. The restaurant was pitch black and there were 3-4 people inside the closed restaurant but unfortunately they didn't look like they work there. Just disappointed. What is the point of posting the hours on yelp and on the door if they don't bother to open.

Food was really good everything was pretty good. We ordered bunch of different stuff to check it out. They all came pretty good.
