THE COOKS DON'T WEAR GLOVES!! DISGUSTING. While I was waiting for my food I noticed the cooks aren't wearing gloves. The same cook HANDLING RAW burger meat is building the sandwiches. Literally handling the raw veggies that go on burgers NONE OF the cooks have gloves on. BIG SAFETY CONCERN. I should of gotten something else on campus. PLEASE practice proper food handling practices! This is a safety concern for anyone who eats their food. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with fries and ONLY ate the fries because the cook touched it with tongs, NOT their bare hands that don't have gloves.

Best fresh food you can find on campus. So excited that they're open again. Various options to choose from the salad bar, grill and the hot food options. They change every day! Some of my favorites are the Philly cheesesteak, the spicy chicken fritter sandwich, the baked chicken legs, lasagna and chicken florentine. This is definitely my favorite place to eat. Restaurant is clean, the cook gives generous portions and the staff are so kind.

Amazing service, hot and fresh food. This is my absolute favorite place for food on campus. Great prices and the food is Consistently good. Chicken tenders are made with lots of yummy meat. Salad bar is stocked. I could come here everyday!

Service was quick & pleasant. My Spanish omelette was delicious and not super heavy. Coffee was fresh and not too hot to sip right away.

Gold Coast has solid salad bar. I love their Caesar salad, chicken tenders, and jalapeño poppers! Their clam chowder is solid too. It's not Boudin but good enough. Texture is creamy, thick, and comes with many potatoes and clam bits. Clam chowder comes with a free bread roll if you order it in a cup! The cashiers are kind and quick (some employees are students) and the line moves fast. Here's the procedure: you take a container that best fits your appetite, such as the large plastic to-go container, a large round plate (for here), or a rectangular tray (for here). You pick what you want, use the tongs, and be mindful of how much you're getting because you weigh the container to determine the price. Good news: They accept card now, even if you have less than $5 worth of food!

Everything I have tried (classic Caesar, burger, philly) so far is amazing! I haven't had the chance to review up until now but I keep going back to Gold Coast because everything on the menu has been exquisite. I keep coming back because it is PERFECTION, I don't think I can talk it up enough so just trust me and try it! Lol. I also got my fiancé to give them a try and he ordered the soup, which he said was great and very flavorful. Although I've mainly been here for breakfast and lunch, I will definitely be going in to try their wines one day as well. All in all, I definitely recommend. Gold Coast has been my go to since I was in college and first discovered it. The staff is friendly, the Philly cheesesteak is AMAZING and their burgers really hit the spot! If you're in a hurry and want a quick bite they have a salad bar too and are always quick with orders without sacrificing quality. Whether you go to sfsu or not, give the place a try. It's in the middle of the campus but is open to the public as well!

This is my go to spot when on campus. I usually get the One Eyed Monster burger. The egg is always perfect and the service is quick + friendly. I also recommend the salad bar- they have a good variety and it's always fresh!

Food is great! Service is very efficient & friendly. The portions are more then enough to get me full and then some!!! Highly recommend!

My favorite place to eat on campus with plenty of options and variety. The pasta salads and salad bar are fresh throughout the day and is a great go to.
