A wide variety of options, including Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, and burgers, plus a decent vegan option as well. Located on the basement level of Westfield San Fransisco. I chose the Pakistani food but there are so many varieties. Its clean!

The Food Emporium (Court) located in the Westfield San Franciso Centre is a great place to stop by if you need a quick bite while in the city.A majority of mall food courts are fast food influenced with minimal healthy and quality options overall. The food emporium is the major exception to this stereotype. The only fast food options were Panda Express and Chipotle. We took the escalator down to the concourse level of the Emporium. Buckhorn Grill, Chinese, Japanese (including Ramen), Sorabol Korean BBQ & Asian Noodles, Vegan, Fire of Brazil, Lobster Me, and Italian Pasta cuisine were all represented here. Great sweet options in Ghirardelli, Haagen Dazs, Mrs. Fields, Jamba Juice, Bake Cheese tart, cream puffs, and multiple coffee and tea places. This list isn't all inclusive but they had something for everyone. As crowded and busy as it is, there isn't any issue with finding seating. The escalator you take down to the concourse level is present immediately after you enter in from Market Street. Look for the bronze "Emporium" sign outside the entrance. There is also a corner Walgreens in the Emporium in case you need any travel essentials as you move through the city. This is my new go to quick bite stop whenever I'm tourist tripping in San Francisco. Enjoy!

Curry in a hurry was the most dissapointing curry I've ever had. Plus one of the bathrooms in the mall was completely out of service, and the other had a long line. Curry in a hurry got my order wrong, I also suspect they added butter to the naan after I told them I can't have dairy. It took them a long time to get my food out, and it was overpriced for how much food I got (17$ for plain rice and less than half curry in a shallow black container, two small plain naan, and a taste cup of another curry). But worst of all, it was all flavorless, even though I was hungry. The goat curry tasted like a pinch of canned tomatoes and pepper at best, the chickpea one and the naan were intolerably flavorless, even the basmati rice tasted wrong.

So sad . Between the Covid pandemic and the large homeless population, many of the fast food court eateries are gone. All the regular sit down restaurants in Westfield are gone. Prices are high for what you get.

Call me crazy but I am a huge fan of food courts, or in this case they call it emporium. Whatever. It's a food court. You can bring a group and decide to all eat different foods. You know, so you can compare notes. This place is hidden in the guts of the Westfield mall in SF. So convenient, as you get right off the Powell St Bart station and walk right in. My go to favorite here is the Korean food stall, and it's consistently one of the busiest ones. They used to have a grocery store here, forgot what it was called, but it was fancy pants. But I really liked the food there, wish it never left.I don't know what else to say? It's a food court. Oh the restrooms. So weird. It's sort of co-ed in that it's an open concept. Washing stations in the middle and men to the left and women to right. While washing your hands, you basically standing in the women's restrooms, and vice versa. I get it if you'all run the stall doors all the way to the ground, but you could see people's legs using the stalls. SF, you're so weird.

This food court is NOT like any other that I have ever seen! Wow! I want one of these closer to where I live, for sure! We were using the BART for most of our public transportation on our recent vacation in San Francisco (based in Daly City for the week at an amazing AirBnB). The Westfield Centre is at an extremely convenient location when using BART. Just get off BART at Powell Street and walk up and right into the mall and this amazing Food Emporium is right there. There are SO many wonderful choices. It was so hard to choose. It isn't a simple collection of fast food types of food. These are places you really want to go to: Lobster Me, Hot Spud, Korean Barbecue, Ghirardelli, Bazille, Fire of Brazil, Loving Hut Vegan Cuisine, Sarku Japan, Pressed Juicery, and so many more!Hubby and I chose to share a Lobster Roll meal and Clam Chowder from Lobster Me and a Shrimp Spud from Hot Spud. We loved it all.

I love this mall simply because it is THE center mall for San Francisco, where you can enjoy walking around, shopping, eating at the best mall food court, meet up easily with friends or family and basically enjoy a great day to hangout!I feel like you can find anything here - from clothing, shoes, accessories, name brands, furnishings and more! This Westfield mall has everything - even coffee and a food market to keep you energized and productive if you are going to be here for the entire day, literally! On top of that, the top level of this grand mall is elaborate with its intricate rooftop architecture as well as themed celebratory events - such as holidays when you can just feel the warmth and festivity! This mall is and will be a classic place for entertainment and a delight for a shopping experience in San Francisco!

Why I can see people liking this place:-- the variety of nouveau stands: they have aren't your typical mall food stands (although I don't see anything wrong with a Great Steak and Fry once in awhile).-- the people watching is more fun out hereWhy I don't get it:-- why it gets really crowded: does everyone who works in the mall eat here?-- why the samples from Buckhorn Grill taste better than the lunch I just bought?-- why this place is so highly reviewed? Conclusion:It's a food court folks. I don't care how hard you try to dress it up. At best the food is good but when you take into account how much you've paid for it, then it becomes a rip off. For the price you're paying, you could go to an actually restaurant.

Visited the Westfield mall and the food court tonight and was so happy to see so many stores and food vendors open!Im not sure why the media is saying this mall is closed because its very much open! I was expecting a ghost town but that isnt the case. Yes, some stores are permanently closed but many are still open and most of the food court vendors are still there too. Tonight we got dan dan noodles from NooBowl, halal Pakistani food, and Hokkaido cheese tarts. All very good! We did some shopping at Madewell, Bloomingdales, Coach, Vans, and Jcrew. Lots of other stores were open too. The mall had a ton of security on site and every store had their own security too. Needless to say, I felt incredibly safe. The food court custodial staff kept all the tables very clean and tidy. A+Overall, I was impressed. I had a really pleasant evening of shopping with no crowds, good food, and great service. Thank you!
