I love Fest, it's my favorite karaoke bar in the city. Positive, intimate vibes and excellent drinks. It's a small venue, so can be hard finding a seat.

Like many of the new recent 1 stars, Festa has gone downhill over the last few years. Frosty, prejudiced bartenders who judge on appearances, money spent, and how "cool" you are in their own conceited way. Its obvious some nights they are miserable and probably jaded from hearing awful singing day in and out.And honestly there is like only 1 staff member who actually likes karaoke and sings! Everyone else obviously hates it.The average customer coming in on an occasional Saturday won't notice this, but if you've been coming for years you can tell the difference in quality of service, friendliness, and atmosphere.Awful dated wine list, stale beer, dive bar quality bar snacks.

I used to really like this place, but they now have a lot of annoying rules and quirks. 1) You are required to purchase 1 drink per person at your table whether you're singing or not.2) Even if you buy the required drinks, you still have to pay $2 per song, no exceptions.3) Even after paying for the songs you want, they might randomly skip your song or reorder your song. Last night they skipped 4 of the 6 songs we paid for (we had 5 people in our group). The order the songs appeared was completely arbitrary. 4) They closed 20 minutes early last night while we were still there, even though there were quite a few people still inside. I think this is why they skipped our songs (see #3 above)5) You feel nickel and dimed when you just want to go out, sing some songs, and have fun with your friends. It's a shame because the space is cute and intimate and the crowd is usually pretty fun. I recommend Dimples across the street instead.

First thing to improve is the bartender.A man bartender is full of bad attitude. His face never smile. I don't know if he really happy to work there. Even we left tip for 20% every time we there but still never be happy. I don't complain about other bartenders they all so nice and always smile and friendly. This is would be a big reason for me and my friends would not come back here anymore.

Been here twice for karaoke with two different groups and both times it was absolutely perfect. Good sound system, and is small enough people don't have to wait forever for their turn. Lychee martini ftw.

Great crowd, great service and great staff.* I recommend arriving early on weekends. We sat at the bar around 9pm on a Friday and it quickly filled up.* It's a small room. If you're in a group, it's going to be difficult to find a seat. * Karaoke is $2/song, cash only. * And for the karaoke singers... Sing louder than you think, the stage vocals are louder than the room vocals.

Glad I finally got to check this place out! Not sure if it was because it was the holiday season or we came in after the private holiday party, but the place had a cozy, intimate vibe. Would not recommend coming in a large group of more than four people. There is an option to reserve for groups of 6 of more, but they charge a cover charge per person in that case. Love their cocktail selection. Drinks are $10-15. The lychee martini was very good! I'm excited to try their other drinks next time I'm in the area. For karaoke, It's $2 per song (cash only) and they have a diverse song selection. Japanese songs are actually in Japanese, so if you plan on singing a Japanese song, either learn how to read Japanese, pull up the romaji lyrics on your phone, or just know the song really well. In regards to the rotation, It did seem like other singers sang more than others but my song did eventually come up. Service: 5 stars! The person putting in the karaoke songs was super patient with me when I asked multiple times if they had a certain song. The bartenders were friendly and sing every now and then when it's not too busy. At one point when I was sitting down, one of them came up to me and asked me if I wanted my water refilled. I've NEVER had that happen before at a karaoke bar. Way to go the extra mile!

A few things I Love Cozy small environment.I've been coming to this bar over 15 years. I used to come before it changed to Festa 16 years ago or So .The Vibe is like no other. At times it gets too crowded on weekends and I've seen the Door people and Bartenders Harrassed for not letting more people in because it's at capacity or i.ds on phones only or non acceptable i.ds , the people are already intoxicated. These things should be obvious. It's a small lounge 8 tiny tables .They do not serve food. This is a Hidden Gem. Be Kind .Come Sing, There is alot of diversity here even for a small place. If your shy Come week nights. The hours are posted wrong. They open 6:30 7 days a week.

This place feels like what I picture a small bar in 90's Tokyo to feel like. It's a fun though not very rowdy (at last when I was there) karaoke bar with it's own bathroom (rare for Jtown!). The vibes are great. I don't smoke cigarettes but this is the kind of spot that makes you want to in a good way. Hard to explain.
