I've wanted to try Dacha ever since they opened, and now that I've tried, I'm hooked! I went on a Saturday evening as a solo diner and was happy to see they had plenty of small tables.I ordered the Eggplant Rolls, Shuba Salad, and Pavlova. Each dish was beautifully executed & tasted delicious. The Shuba salad was bigger than I expected, which was great, because I feel like I always need more food to feel full. I really loved the Pomegranate "Caviar" (?) on Eggplant Rolls, and the pavlova was to die for!!! The filling was perfection!! If you're intrigued, try it NOW because they told me their menu is going to change again starting in March.I used to walk past the restaurant all the time - I'm so glad that they seem to have a bigger crowd these days. I was very glad to see that place was busy! Writing this to make sure we keep spreading the word about this fabulous food.

Dacha Kitchen & Bar, is an excellent spot offering unique European cuisine. I absolutely loved the concept because I felt like I was eating something truly different, healthy, and delicious! The fusion of unique flavors was unlike anything I had ever tried before. For starters, we ordered stuffed eggplants topped with molecular pomegranate caviar which gives a sweet pop to the dish, was so delicious that I even wanted to order another portion. For the main course, we had the chicken skewers and the beef in red wine sauce. Both dishes were so tender that they melted in my mouth. The service from everyone working there was outstanding, and the space is both cozy and beautiful. I highly recommend ending your visit with the pavlova, which was super crispy and bursting with exquisite flavor.Investigating a little, discovered that this exquisite bussines its managed and owned by all women.Thank you, Dacha team

A nice place to dine out, we had a good time. The food came in a timely manner. Got the eggplant roll appetizer to share and it was a lil bitter to my taste from the walnuts or something but it was interesting to try. My goulush came out well, the meat cooked in the stew was rich. The potatoes with mushrooms was also not bad, it just tasted stir fried in pepper and it tasted bit bland to me. The service was fast and they were very attentive. I'm not sure the food is to my tasting but it was a pleasant experience.

Located in a charming corner this restaurant is a true find . From the moment we walked in, the attentive staff made us feel welcome, the owner Suki took the time to come over and even chatted with us for a while. As newcomers to Eastern European cuisine, we were intrigued and not disappointed. We started with a variety of appetizers, each one more delicious than the last. The piroshki's were a standout, especially the flavorful mushroom-filled ones. The chicken pate was both rich and creamy, complemented perfectly by the touch of candied fruit. The zucchini roll exceeded our expectations and the stuffed zucchini flower was the perfect finishing touch.Of course, we couldn't resist trying their desserts. Choosing between the honey cake and the black currant tart was a tough decision, but we ultimately went with the tart for its unique and delightful flavors. Our overall experience was fantastic, and we left with a promise to return and explore their main entrees next time.Thank you for wonderful experience at this hidden culinary gem!

Having a Global Affairs dinner with the International Volunteers and Nomads group in San Francisco representing countries in Western and Eastern Europe, South Asia, and East Asia. Then there is me the only US born at the table in the group and native San Franciscan but also representing the Latin American side of things breaking bread at the Eastern European restaurant Dacha discussing world affairs over food and drinks. One menu item brought back memories of old San Francisco was the piroshki. In San Francisco you could find the piroshki at the local corner liquor stores throughout most San Francisco neighborhoods. This microwaved popular San Francisco delicacy was pretty doughy had meat and cheese but good when washed down with a cold beverage. I usually ate my piroshki during lunchtime (open campus) in high school and usually across the street at Dolores Park or some unsolicited stairs around the high school. The piroshki at Dacha is different and it's baked and it has no cheese and it came with mushroom. The mushroom piroshki I had was different but better than the corner store piroshki I remembered. The savory mushroom piroshki was savory delicious. I also had to try the meat piroshki but the mushroom was a bit better. The other item I found very tasty was the Pojarskaya Cutlet .The breaded chicken cutlet with some bread crumb texture to it and topped with a butter and mushroom sauce. Come to Dacha Kitchen & Bar in San Francisco with a great menu so pick and chooseEastern European cuisine from Moldova to Belarus

Food is amazing, the menu is limited, but tasty! I order soup "solyanka", "shuba" salad and pirozhok with meat. Everything was like homemade but in restaurant presentation. Pricy! But is general worth it! Amazing cocktails. Bartender is ready to make you your own cocktail by request. We celebrated anniversary and we got complimentary shots from the restaurant. Service is great!

My partner and I live in Oakland but are on year two of an annual tradition of picking a hotel in SF and enjoying a night out wherever we find ourselves. Dacha is a three minute walk from where we stayed and oh my goddess what an amazing find it was! Starting from the drinks (the Sapphire was so yum) to the Pavlova and surprise house liqueur our server presented us with, we were taken such good care of. The Shuba salad and the Pojarskaya cutlet were my favorites. Such richness of flavor and beautiful combinations of fresh foods. We can't wait to go back! The fact that it's queer women-owned (didn't know this til I did a little online reading afterwards) is icing on the cake.

Beautiful space with carefully prepared and flavorful Eastern European food. We enjoyed the zucchini rolls - the cottage cheese filling was unexpected but satisfying - and the tempura zucchini flowers stuffed with goat cheese mousse were crisp and not too heavy. The mushroom-filled piroshka was just the right size for us to each have a hearty bite and the chicken liver mousse, served with a cognac sauce and dear little toasts, rounded out our appetizers. For our mains, I enjoyed the pork chop - one of the best ones I've had in a long while - and my partner had the goulash, which was hearty and comforting. Our dessert was the pavlova - the meringue was light and airy and the chantilly cream was dense and fulfilling, dotted with fresh berries. The service was attentive and kind, with lots of good recommendations, and we felt very welcome.

Scrumptious food and lovely atmosphere. We were fortunate enough to host our group in their private event room and had a wonderful time. Everyone we met on staff was warm and inviting. 10 out of 10 would repeat our visit here again.
