Good burgers and good fries! Burgers nicely cooked. No gristle. Brioche buns were soft and fresh. This was lunch at a little league baseball tournament. They couldn't do custom orders with one slider different from the other, for the menu items that came with 2 sliders. Wait was reasonable, not too long.

Burgers weren't even seasoned, fries were soggy, and yes I ate the food right there...Most of the flavor came from the grilled onions and cheese...

(2.5 out of 5)Curveball slider truck attended at the 3crosses Christmas village today. Thought I'd try it out, before trying I expected a tiny little slider like a White Castle burger. But these are big. But in some of the wrong ways, the buns are super dry and and was almost hard to swallow, the meat in there is on the bigger side and it takes away from all of the other flavors. Almost tasted like a Philly cheese slider, and that goes for both of them. 30$+ for all 4 sliders, fries alone are another 9ish$

Bought dinner from this food truck while attending the Fremont Street Eats event last Friday. There was no wait to order, and service was straighforward and easy. It took about 8-10 minutes which isn't too bad except I saw my order sitting there for at least a few minutes before they called it out... didn't appreciate that. Got the curveball sliders (two come in an order) and garlic fries. The sliders had 2 kinds of sauces inside the sandwich and somehow still tasted a bit dry and bland... did they forget to season this batch of beef patties!?! Idk, but flavor was definitely lacking. Could barely taste the bbq sauce, and when I lifted the bun, I could see why... they put what looked like a miniscule dollop of sauce on the top of the pork belly, which was absorbed by the bread (the bun was thick and not very memorable either). These mini burgers had weak flavor in all aspects. The saving grace was the thick cut garlic fries, which were slightly crisp and delicious. Couldn't see the garlic, but the flavor was noticeable, and the fries were not too oily. I'd give this 4 stars on its own. 3 stars for the overall value, taste, and experience.

Are at this food truck at Levi's Plaza for lunch. This place is good if you need something made quick, my order finished within 5 minutes of ordering.I ordered the Curveball Slider since it was their name and I thought it would be their best one. Overall the slider is pretty basic. The buns were a bit soft, I wish they would have grilled/charred them a bit so that they were firmer. The odd part about the slider was the grilled pork belly. The pork belly was a lot harder than everything else in the slider, so when you try to take a bite you're stopped by the pork belly. I ended up taking the pork belly out and eating it separately, it was good but it was weird to include it in the slider.

Got the chance to try this truck at Blue Oak Brewing (one of the best micro breweries in the bay, especially for sours). Heard positive things from many friends who had it before. Ordered the fungo burger $13.25 and garlic fries $8.25. There was no line at the time so the order was ready in 5 mins. They were more like 2 small/medium sized burgers rather than sliders. The meat was juicy and thick. Decent amount of grilled onions and mushrooms and just the right amount of sauces. The weakest part of the burger was probably the bun, which was by no means terrible, dry, or bready; but just tasted basic/generic. But overall, the burger was tasty, a good sized portion, and quite reasonably priced. The fries I had many times and it is always perfectly crispy and with good garlic flavor. Reasonable portion, but I think is a bit expensive. Overall, the food is not mind blowingly good, but pretty solid. I would eat from this truck again and try their other items as well

After waiting an *extra* 20-min for garlic fries that were supposed to take "only five minutes", some feedback is in order. I asked how long they needed before I ordered because it was important to get a quick bite to eat. When you only have an hour to spend with the family and the food truck takes 30-min to deliver a simple order of fries that leaves plenty of time to do a review. It would have been different if I were told it would be a while and that I should go back to the family sitting on the grass. I eventually cut my losses- I'll add that the refund process was neither friendly or nor understanding of the value of our limited family time. Negative service score. Unknown food quality score.

Curveball was a truck at the July 4 event at Leo J Ryan Park in Foster City today! The slider flavors really called out to my husband and I. We shared the David and Fungo sliders + salt & pepper fries. The portions were big for sliders! Both of them were really flavorful. I loved the crispy chicken in the David sliders and the medium texture of the Fungo patties along with the generous amount of mushrooms. The fries were also freshly fried with a nice crispy outside and fluffy inside. Overall it was a very satisfying foot truck meal today, yum!

Second time at this food truck at ZSFGH. This is the SECOND time it was undercooked for $15 2 sliders - the second one was severely undercooked which can pose a risk of foodborne illnesses due to harmful bacteria like E. coli-FYI
