Food here is SO flavorful. I love Asian food and am quite a critic but everything on their brunch menu was delicious - from their scrambled egg omelette ( yes I could make them at home but it was delicious comfort food) to their garlicky green beans, their crispy shrimp, garlic noodles, and fire cracker chicken. Didn't even know where to start because I was eating everything in sight lol.On top of that, they have a special deal of bottomless mimosas/drinks during brunch which for sure is worth it for a large party (we had about 8 people in our group) I would note they do play quite loud music when I went (not sure if they do that all the time) but it was definitely a fun casual spot to grab food with friends.

Convenient place to stop by after visiting Flute World especially if you like loud club music. But probably not ideal for a family sit down dinner. The food quality was definitely there however the execution was not quite to my taste. Of the dishes we tried, the shrimp fried rice was the best although a bit too light on the eggs. The salmon in the tartare had a bit of a fishy taste that I wouldnt expect in fresh sushi grade salmon but we finished it and the pineapple pieces were a nice touch. The server was kind enough to split the wonton soup into two bowls for me and my daughter. Unfortunately, it was a bit too salty for our taste and while the wonton skins were of high quality the filling was unfortunately on the tougher/chewier side. Probably will try other places before considering coming again.

If you're coming to Chubby Noodle, its for the bottomless brunch experience! And that's what I'm reviewing! I have not been here sober. Here's the deal: You HAVE TO MAKE A RESERVATION. I recommend doing this at least a week in advance. I believe the reservation times are in waves: 10am, noon, and 2pm on Saturdays & 11am and 1pm on Sundays. You have 90 minutes for the experience. You pay $55/person for 8 dishes of your choice and bottomless mimosas (my go-to), Sapporo, or sangria. They only give you more drinks once you finish your first bottle so we were very diligent about drinking. If you're sitting inside, the music is blasting, adding to the chaotic, fun vibe. Every time I've gone, it's been an absolute blast, with my friends and I laughing our way through plates of food and then stumbling over to Washington Square Park to keep the party going.Pro tip: Plan your post-brunch moves before you get there--preferably while sober--because once you're in the experience, you'll want to continue riding that adrenaline high. I think because you are simultaneously stuffing yourself with food and drinking, that lets you stomach wayyy more alcohol than you'd normally handle. Stay safe and try and hydrate in between dishes too!!!It's an epic time, but I'll admit, it's becoming a more rare experience for me these days That being said, if you're looking for a wild, chaotic brunch that's all about fun vibes and massive amounts of food, Chubby Noodle is the spot.

More garlic noodles please! I'm impressed with the food, the service, the vibes, everything. We came in as a party of 6 and ordered A LOT. There was a shrimp vermicelli noodle, the garlic noodles, curry, fried rice, cucumber salad, fried chicken, string beans, salmon tartare.. etc. We were STUFFED by the end of it. It was a bit cold in there, but you can always warm up with a few drinks. I heard about the brunch so many times but never had the chance to try it. I'll circle back when I make it!

CHUBBY NOODLE OMG! This is my third time visiting--my first was at the old location, and the other two times were at this current one. I love the concept of being able to drink as much as you want and enjoy all the delicious food for one price. The food comes fresh out of the kitchen, and they bring it to your table right away. The atmosphere is fantastic, with great music playing. The decorations give it a classy restaurant vibe, and out of nowhere, you hear a mix of rap, R&B, and reggaeton, which I find amazing. My only complaint is that one of the waitresses was a bit rude; other than that, the service was great!

Visited Chubby Noodle for a friend's birthday dinner. The inside had music playing, TVs, and a noisier crowd to it compared to your typical restaurant. It was super lively inside. I personally did not mind it but just something to note for others.Service was standard. Some of the dishes our table ordered included the Firecracker Chicken, Garlic noodles, and dumplings. All of the food tasted great. I think the firecracker chicken was the standout. Overall, this place has a nice casual approach to the ambience and crowd but still maintains an upscale feel to the menu and the food. I will be back!

I was checking out the night market on North Beach (review pending lol), and my friend kept telling me about this place she wanted me to try out cause they had some amazing beef dish and she knew how much I loved this stuff...When we got there and after a good 10 minutes perusing the menu, the dish she wanted me to try WAS... NOT THERE. I think she was more disappointed than I was lol.Place wasn't that packed for the night market and we were seated pretty quick. Small seating area, but not too small. We ordered some wine, cab & merlot. Just right. Now to the important stuff... FOOD:Appetizer, we had there Pot Stickers, Chubby Fried Chicken, and green papaya salad. I'm not a fan of spicy, and apparently neither is she, or her Mom... and the papaya salad wasn't spicy. In every other place I've ever had that, it's usually spicy AF. The Pot stickers were Pot Stickers. If they were anything out of this world, you'd be the first to know. Now, the fried Chicken? I liked it. I loved the flavor and the buttermilk marinade. My friend, not so much. I think she was still hung up on them not having what she REALL REALLY wanted me to try.Main Entree, we ordered the Garlic Noodles, Beef Chow Fun, Chicken Chow Mein. Going back to spicy stuff... the Garlic Noodles were hella spicy (full disclosure, none of us liked spicy and I'm a wimp with spicy stuff, I don't enjoy pain while I eat) So we sorta had some but didn't really finish it. Now the Chicken Chow Mein & the Beef Chow Fun!?!? I personally loved those two dishes. The flavoring of both of those dishes was spot on. Lots of chicken and beef as well. Oddly enough my friend wasn't very happy with the place and that's why I'm at 4 stars instead of 5. I wasn't wow'd by it, but certainly wasn't disappointed at all.Just the "quick" tip...try it out! Make sure you ask how spicy stuff is if you're not into that. It's a cool spot in North Beach, folks were super friendly, and food was yummy!

Service was really quick for the amount of food ordered. Portions are a bit smaller than what I am used to for what we paid but they were still enough to feed my group of three and have everyone get more than one scoops/bites. We got the mushroom vermicelli which had a really nice buttery flavor due to the miso-butter used. The mushrooms were very flavorful as well. We also got the salt and black pepper shrimp which came with a good chipotle aioli-esque sauce. We got the Mongolian beef which was very flavorful and savory; this came with a bowl of rice. The last dish we got were szechuan green beans which had a great sauce that packed a little bit of kick and was also very umami. All the dishes we got were packed with flavor. Heavy use of garlic was appreciated (though you still might get some umami aftertaste 2 hours after the meal haha). Many of our dishes also had jalapeño peppers which made the food very flavorful as well. The ambiance was nice with dim warm lighting when we went for dinner.

As I jokingly told my friend, this is basically what "white people" imagine Asian food tastes like.If you're looking for authentic Asian cuisine, this isn't the place. That said, I do give them credit for making most of their reinvented dishes taste really good, drawing inspiration from various Asian cuisines. If you're Asian and feeling adventurous, or if you want a "safe" spot to explore Asian-inspired dishes without worrying about strong spices, unusual ingredients, or too much heat, this place is a fun option. Plus, the interior design is super cute (though definitely not Asian ).The reason I'm deducting a point is that, as an Asian person, I find many of the dishes lean too much on the sweeter side, catering to the Western palate. I just wish some of the dishes had a more of a savory taste rather than sweet, for example the spicy garlic noodles.
