John W. "Usually not a fan of the ""BBQ"" burger style but THE DUKE was the best burger I had in awhile. The fries that came with were very good as well. Garlic, hot, and crispy on the outside. The Duke Burger (Angus Beef, Smoked Applewood Bacon, Spring Mix. Onion Rings, BBQ Sauce, Cheese Bread).Tip: Find them on the BAREBOTTLE BREWING CO. scheduled food truck calendar ( I caught them on a Sunday) for a place to sit and a great beer tap room for a cold one. Bring your burger inside, that's what the trucks are there for.Service was phenomenal. If it's your first time, look for Eileen. Cute red head with lots a knowledge, glowing personality and eager to show you the ropes. Sampling before you buy is encouraged, as Eileen explains it, they are the Baskin Robbins of Beer."

They also had a pretty tasty Hong Kong milk tea.Takeout Dim Sum also available. For the sampling I bought half a dozen har gao/shrimp dumpling and a handful of egg tarts. While they were pre-ordered and picked up warm, the hargao was sitting in a pool of water (from the steaming?) and we're soggy. The egg tarts were also warm with a nice flaky crust. I found the filling to be on the sweeter side, not to my liking.Would I be back? Would try some of their other dim sum next time...and for a another refreshing milk tea.Situated at a production site. Ring the doorbell for pickup (better to preorder) and staff will unlock the door to bring your order to you!"

The Lechon Kawali Silog is tough to beat with the generous portion of fried pork, lots of tasty garlic fried rice and a runny egg on the side. They typically show up at Spark Social in Mission Bay at least once or twice a month...just look at their online schedule. David K. "3.5 starsThe cool thing about food trucks and trailers is, of course, that they roam! The bright orange paint of Tacos El Flamingo has always drawn my attention when parked in downtown San Mateo, but the first time I actually found it active was at the Sunday Burlingame Farmer's Market! Tacos, of course, are the thing to get--I asked for a recommendation, and the server touted the pastor spicy pork, made of strips of lean and fatty pork grilled to perfection with a delicious marinade. It was served on two yellow corn tortillas and dressed with chopped cilantro, onion, and salsa verde, along with pickled carrots, radish, and lime on the side! While tasty, the pork was definitely on the greasy side. I also tried the asada steak taco, made of chopped pieces of grilled steak with the same toppings. Overall, this was a nice plate of tacos, though not the best I've had and rather expensive for the portion sizes. But this truck will continue to stand out to me, thanks to its bright, flamingo-like color if nothing else!"

Robert F. "I have pasted by this food truck for over 4 months and I just recently was able to finally stop by. I have always been a bit skeptical about food trucks but I was hungry and decided why not give this one a chance. I had always noticed that the lines are fairly long here around lunch time so I figure it must be good or at least decent. When I arrived to grab lunch I noticed that the line had died down and there was no waiting which is always a plus. The menu prices are posted on the side of the truck as well as pictures which always helps. I could be wrong but I believe this food truck is a family owned business, I may be wrong. I wasn't looking too deep into the menu seeing as I was very hungry, I ordered my burrito and then proceeded to wait for the food the be prepared. One of the cool things about this food truck is that you can see the preparation of your food from the lawn if you stand up high enough. I think the recommendation is to park in the lot that is parallel to the curb where the truck is parked. I thought that this area would be heavily congested due to the truck but it is relatively easy to get in and out around the afternoon. The food was great. I ordered a super burrito and all was well with the flavor. I only wished that I had asked for black beans instead of the refried beans. I wound up paying $9.00 and some change for the burrito. Not bad for what you are getting. I wouldn't mind subscribing to this place regularly if I'm in the area. This place could save your life if you are looking to get something quick and fast to go either for yourself, the office, or the family.#FoodToGo"

Tiffany D. "From the past pictures of this taco truck, I didn't get any turnips nor jalepenos. Maybe they stopped it or ran out. It would have been nice to have experience the full package if that is what it is usually. Regardless, their tacos are still packed with flavor and sauce. A bit on the dry side, but that's why they give at least lime wedges to help with the dry side. Their beef cheek is superbly tender! Chorizo was nicely spiced up as well as their pastor. I wish they added the pineapple and made it al pastor instead. It would have made it one upped on that taco! They ran out of fish, which is what I wanted as a seafood taco so I just ordered up two pastors. I should have gotten like carne asada beef, but desired pastor a lot more at the time of ordering and substituting the fish instead. They have rice entrees and burrito wraps. My eyes are always on tacos when it comes to taco trucks! Their drinks are mostly bottled. I wished that they served up more fresh drinks, such as horchata or iced tea. I didn't want any of the bottled sugared drinks. I delved right into the tacos and it surely satisfied the cravings of tacos!"

Mike L. "Okay, let's be honest - the concept of an Asian-centric food truck isn't all that unique, but it's especially true in the Bay Area. Whether they offer Asian-fusion tacos and burritos, more traditional fare, or something "Asian inspired", you don't have to look hard to find one. However, despite how many of those trucks there are out there, very few of them put out food as good as Sip-N-Slurp's!Now, compared to their aforementioned competitors, Sip N Slurp's menu falls in the middle of the road - far more interesting than a bunch of trucks out there, but not exactly unique or innovative either. Which, in this case, works perfectly fine. Rather than try to catch people's attention with a bunch of bells and whistles or gimmicks, they go with the tried and true formula of just offering delicious looking food! On any given day, they may "only" have to offer one or two starters and a handful of noodle options, but everything that I've tried has been really, really good.-- CHICKEN KARAAGE - Marinated Chicken Bites Topped with Soy Mayo and Shaved Bonito...$8(https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/sipnslurp-food-truck-san-francisco-2?select=5ViFmv5FKttctoxNoRVFiw)At a glance, this didn't look super impressive (the pieces seemed small), but the taste of this was pretty solid. Despite their size, the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. I do wish the breading was a little more crisp, but the bonito flakes on top added a nice finish.-- UDON NOODLES - Udon Noodles Tossed in Special Soy Sauce and Garlic Oil Topped with Seared Pork Belly, Fresh Cucumber, Scallions, and Spicy Furikake...$12(https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=kuQStNEwpgNFzzCZDjnfTA&userid=JKIkdVqAJLEXTq92gF98bA)This is probably their most "basic" dish on the menu, but it was no less delicious. The noodles were cooked perfectly (soft with a slight bite) and the pork belly, which was really tender, was cut surprisingly thick.-- GYOZA - Kobe Style Pork and Cabbage Fried Dumplings...$6(https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/sipnslurp-food-truck-san-francisco-2?select=einy_3N2ZfJNcdXsjKfkOw)This was the most underwhelming thing I've had here, but it's not like I expected it to be amazing either. The skins were pretty hard along the seam and the filling was kind of generic. At the same time, it's not like this was awful, just kind of generic.-- MY NAME IS DAN, DAN DAN - Ramen Noodles Topped with Spicy Szechuan Style Ground Pork, Fresh Cucumbers, Scallions, Cilantro, Sesame, Corn, and Housemade Chili Oil...$12(https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Kyqmv2IMFtmR_bYWs7_xrw&userid=JKIkdVqAJLEXTq92gF98bA)By far, this is my favorite thing here. I ordered mine without cilantro (of course) and everything about this was perfect - the noodles were cooked just right, there was a generous amount of pork and scallions, and I loved the slight kick from the oil (wish there was more of it, though).-- GARLIC MY NOODLES - Ramen Noodles Tossed in Special Garlic Sauce Topped with Tempura Shrimp Dressed in Sweet Soy, Fried Shallots, and Green Onions...#12(https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_hztjMScEvgHkniJntFQvw&userid=JKIkdVqAJLEXTq92gF98bA)While the Dan Dan noodles rank at the top of the list, this one isn't far behind. It's a bit simple by comparison, but it was great - the noodles had a nice garlicky flavor (though I could always use more) and the tempura was still crispy despite the soy. Plus, it comes with four pieces!Given the grab-and-go nature of food trucks, there's usually not much to add in the way of service. However, the girl who usually works the window to take orders is awesome - very friendly and patient (one of my coworkers had question on a couple of things). What's more, the staff here moves quick! Sure, there's not a ton of cooking involved, especially since there's some overlapping ingredients, but I still appreciate how they get you on your way so quickly!Since I've previously proclaimed a couple of other food trucks as my "favorites" in past reviews, I'm hesitant to do it again, despite how much I like Sip N Slurp. At the same, I have zero qualms saying that if I saw Sip N Slurp posted up with a bunch of other trucks at an OTG event (or anywhere else), I wouldn't hesitate to come back for more! Assuming this pandemic ever ends (JUST WEAR MASKS, PEOPLE!)."

After a little wait, they called us for our food. No utensils were provided for the fries. Fries listed mama's lil peppers and I stead came with fresh jalapeno, which was disappointing because those aren't the same at all. Breakfast burrito also missed the mama's lil peppers. My daughter liked her bbq burrito, but there was so much oil, it oozed oit the bottom of the foil and seeped into her skirt in a bright orange color. I ordered the pork belly sandwich. While the belly itself was a decent texture, it lacked flavor. The arugula added a but of freshness, but I couldn't taste the caper sauce at all. We also ordered 2 of the chocolate covered bacon. I was handed one and had to ask for the second. The receipt also reflected a higher price for the chocolate bacon than was listed on the window. It was approaching 12 noon and fortunately there was no line yet. My order came out in 7 minutes. Only ate the two Al pastor street tacos and was full!. By far this is the absolute best Al pastor I've ever consumed. Golden in color strips of pork that are tender, salty, fatty ,sweet and succulent. Typically, a pandesal (pan de sal) is a staple bread in the Philippine culture that soaks up liquid really well. I've seen old filipino geezers eating it with their coffee at local filipino coffee shops, so when I checked out this food truck, I was curious. I went to one of their collab events at Humble Sea and after crushing several dranks, I wobbled over to Meryenda and ordered up a Longanisa w/ chips. Longanisa is like their version of a sweet chorizo. While smothered with sweet mayo, then smackled with scallions and a thin carpaccio slice of tomato, it brought this cute sammich altogether. Though I ate all these sammiches, I saw that they also served dessert too! Looked like a piping hot green colored pandan coconut bread putting made of the same pandesal bread. It might put me out if I ate that! It was okay, definitely tasted like carbonated tarragon. I did enjoy pulling out the Google Translate on the bottle. As for the Pelmeni, I fear they put way too much sour cream on it. The dumplings were good, but next time I'd ask for the sour cream on the side. The potatoes were fine, they're potatoes. Same with the cabbage slaw. So tacos, burritos, nachos, etc. Since the Filipino meats have so much personality, it really was quite a wonderful combination.Sisig Nachos: I like that they didn't try to be fancy and just used that kind of bowling alley nacho cheese sauce. However, no chips from the bag here, they used fresh made tortilla chips. Fried up thick and crispy so they didn't get soggy on the journey back to the office. The standard nacho toppings, but with some deliciously spiced sisig. I especially liked the chips in the corner that soaked up some of that yummy vinegary sauce.Tocino Burrito: Slightly sweet pork gives this otherwise normal burrito a nice upgrade. Tocino is pretty intense so all the carbs of the tortilla and rice carry it well. I like that they toasted the sides of the burrito, for a little texture contrast.Ubechata: I like ube anything, so this was hit. Creamy and quite sweet.
