Good food, it's made so you could add condiments like garlic oil , vinegar etc. lot of choices. The Xialong bao was very delicious. Kyle the server was so nice and pleasant. He explained to me how to choose and pick the right dishes. The place was modern and very clean. I recommend that you give them a try. You'll be glad you did .

No frills, flavorful Chinese food - our favorites are the beef roll and shrimp & chive boiled dumplings!Been here a few times and we always get the beef roll; tender beef and lettuce with a hoisin sauce inside a scallion pancake-esque wrap. It's salty, slightly sweet, and has textures. We've tried their soup dumplings, pan fried, and boiled dumplings, while all are good, my personal favorite is the shrimp/pork/chive dumplings. It's so flavorful and clean tasting, feels very homemade.

The dumplings here are solid and I'd come back only for the pan-fried pork bao, which is one of the best I've had. [Pan Fried Pork Bao]: Pork was soft and not gamey. Everything was perfect from the soup to the crispy bottom and chewy delicate top[Pork XLB]: Solid XLB with soft meat and delicious soup, covered by a thin skin. [Braised Beef Brisket Noodle]: This was our least favorite item because of the chewy beef pieces that you couldn't even chew through. Some pieces were soft and tender, but others were worse than jerky. The soup was thick with an odd smokey flavor and overcooked noodles. I'd stick to the dumplings only here. We felt very thirsty after the food and I felt odd after the beef brisket noodle. Service was alright.

One of my new favorite dumpling spots in SF. Having moved to the west side of the city, I was looking for new dumpling spots for my dumpling fix and a friend who lived near Stonestown took me to try mom's dumpling and boy did it meet my expectations. They had the soup dumplings as well as the pan fried soup dumplings. Both were super juicy and the flavor was comparable to some of the more popular spots in SF for soup dumplings. The pan fried dumplings were also juicy and not too big, which made it easy and delicious to eat. The spicy pig ear here was also very delicious and had some peppercorns in it which gave it a kick. The place was not too packed the few times I have been here. The workers were nice and seated us quick as well. Having no wait was definitely a plus and the restaurant was relatively spacious as well. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a new dumpling place with great taste!

Randomly found it when looking for restaurants around the Stonestown area and been back as well as ordered from them multiple times ever since. Most recently, I went around lunch time on a Saturday and got seated immediately. The restaurant is pretty simple and clean, not too loud either so nice for a chill lunch. I love the tiny spoon they have so you can perfectly hold their dumplings and everything is pretty well priced. Fresh Cucumber with Garlic Sauce - Very fresh vegetable dish. It's a nice contrast with the other heavier dishes and the garlic sauce is salty and sour. Special House Pork Xiao Long Bao - A classic and a dish we always have to get there. The dumpling dough is made so well, super thin but doesn't break easily and holds everything. It tastes like a standard xiao long bao, meaty, has a rich broth and is so good when dipped in vinegar.Beef Rolls - A new favorite! It has thin sliced braised beef, lettuce and hoisin sauce all wrapped up in a crispy scallion pancake. The sauce adds most of the tangy and sweet flavor which works well with the salty pancake and ingredients wrapped inside. Green Onion Pancake - Crispy and very thick. Also a nice classic dish we like to order sometimes when we want something more simple and filling.Special House Pan Fried Pork Bao - Another favorite! The bao itself is crispy and has a bite to it with the inside being soft and holds the soup / pork really nicely, similar to their xiao long bao. Best to eat steaming hot and be careful of the soup spilling out when you bite into it. Pork Dumpling in Chili Oil - Very flavorful and is the perfect amount of spice. It is savory and perfect when you're craving a spicier dish. One of my favorite places to get dumplings and other chinese dishes!

This is a pretty good Chinese food place at a decent price point! I came here for a team lunch and everything we ordered came out promptly and tasted good. We ordered lots of vegetarian food since we have quite a few vegetarians on the team. Beef pancake roll - 9/10 - good crunchy pancake outside, the meat was tasty but I felt like it was lacking in sauce just slightlyGreen onion pancake - 10/10 - this was pretty spot on, tasted yummy and came out very crunchy and warmVeggie pan fried dumplings - 8/10 - it was lacking greens inside, there were lots of mushrooms though but still tastyString green beans - 10/10 - so yummy!! I thought these were perfectVeggie fried rice - 9/10 - good taste, a variety of veggies in it, perfectly saltedMapo tofu - 9/10 - this was good, it was quite spicy actually, the only thing missing is meat but that is a personally preference in this dish for meOverall mom dumpling's food is very tasty! I thought the dishes were just a little small for sharing with a big group so you will need to order a lot of dishes for a large sized group.

We stopped in during off hours around 4pm so we had the place to ourselves. Parking was easy as it shares a free lot with other establishments. You can watch them make the dumplings which is cool! I feel like it's such an art. They make it look easy! My baby had fun watching them too lol. The har gow was so yummy! The skin was perfect, no hard parts. The house special pan friend pork bao was also good! This is always my favorite thing to order at dumpling restaurants. I like it better at Special Noodle, but this one is still great! The beef roll was new to me. I thought it was pretty good! It surprised me that it was sweet. Oyster sauce maybe?

I've been here a few times already and they haven't disappointed me yet. It's located in the strip mall near SF State so there's parking in that mall. What i don't like about this place, is that they charge for tea. Usually, these places don't charge for tea and it wasn't even the best tea, this is why i marked them a star down. Their stir fried noodles with was really good. It wasn't too oily and they were generous with the portions. The popcorn chicken had basil which i liked, i actually thought this dish was good but my friend who is Taiwanese didn't like it. I think there's needs to be some consistency in this dish as that are times it's been dry and times the chicken was moist. The jijiang mein was odd, i didn't quite like how it was. you had the meat in the middle in carrots, cucumber, sprouts and eggs on surrounding it. It didn't taste as authentic as other places. The winning dish for me was the fried salt and pepper tofu. It has a little spice to it so watch out for those pepper seeds. However, they perfecty fried it where it was lightly battered. I don't mind coming back here everyday for this dish. They are the same owners as the dumpling zone near Laguna Honda but the menu is slightly different.

Really wanted to like this spot but there is too much salt! Ordered spicy pig ear, beef brisket noodles, shrimp/pork/chive dumplings. Everything too salty! The dessert Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Osmanthus and Rice Wine was THE best item. Not sweet, not salty, very delicate and the rice balls had black sesame inside! While we were there, the dumpling wrapper master was also there! Great to see his craft from our table.
