Was across the street at Kozy and someone told me to go to Bobs if you havent been and its 24 hours. I went there around 10 and it yes there was a line. That always doesnt say that its good but I guess in a way it should be. Not sure how long its been there but seems like its been there for a long ass time.Saw a corgi in line which made me realize this place is gonna be good. Really small and order quick.Got a couple donuts and 2 croissants. Maaaaaan best croissants ever! Fluffy and big as shit! Wish I had gotten 10 for my walk through nasty ass Tenderloin back to hotel.

I've been going to BOB'S since 1982. It's still fun to see the collection of strange, beautiful, tasty, and odd seasonal concoctions, but quality has been sacrificed.Go if you must for the allure, history, fame, and etc. But it's not BOB'S DONUTS of even 20 years ago, let alone 50 years ago. Lure ++++Variety ×××××Fame + ×××××Taste/quality ×××Price $$It's up to you.

Bob's Donuts is a San Francisco institution. Yes, there are some items sold here that are gimmicky -- like the giant XL donut, but the staple items here at SOLID. I stopped by after dinner on a rainy Thursday evening around 7:30 p.m. and the shop was empty. I ordered an apple fritter and creme brûlée donut to-go and was in and out the door in less than 30 seconds. They take Apple Pay so if you don't have cash on hand, no worries.Despite it being so late in the day, the apple fritter was still delicious: crispy around the edges and soft on the inside. The creme brûlée donut had a nice crunch on the caramelized top and there was just the right amount of filling to dough. For $8, it's not the cheapest donuts you'll find, but the quality is there. I wouldn't wait in line for a donut here, but if you're in the area and there's no line, I would definitely recommend stopping by to try something.

Solid 4 stars. No frills. Just a really good neighborhood donut shop that's been here forever. Great service. Tasty donuts. What more could you ask for.

One of my favorite donut stores in sf! I've always been to their other location but decided to drop by this morning as I was in the neighborhood. There is a display of donuts but they also have donuts in the back that are not in display. The store does not have any sit in tables anymore. They only do walk in and order and leave. They accept both cash, card, and contactless payments. My favorite is the maple buttermilk donut but they had none today. So I got the chocolate buttermilk, apple fritters, and cronut cinnamon sugar. All three came out to be a little less than $11.The workers are also super friendly. I HIGHLY recommend trying their buttermilk donut.

They continuously make fresh donuts since it's a 24/7 donut shop. It's a nice spot to go to when out late at night. The workers were friendly and helped us get our donuts. The shop is small with only a couple people available to fit inside at a time.

Came here to try this out as my friend has been here often and enjoys it, plus I've been hearing about this place from others for a while now!The service was great, as they were attentive with answering my questions since there were many donut types available that I hadn't seen before. The ambiance is also nice - like a typical donut shop. There is no where in the shop to eat as it is more of a grab n' go.I got the crème brûlée donut and a tiger tail for my friend! The crème brûlée donut was very good, though the top was a little burnt as they likely torched it to give the crème brûlée effect! The tiger tail was incredibly large, but it smelled so good and was delightfully sweet and cinnamon-y!Overall, I enjoyed the donuts I got, and would definitely love to come back to try other flavors, like the maple bacon donut!

Classic place for cheap doughnuts! This place has all their doughnuts in the display window, and you can see all their unique varieties that all look so tempting. The inside space is literally just the entryway in front of the cash register. I got their cinnamon sugar twist doughnut, and it was good! More of a fried bread with sugar on top than other places whose doughnuts have more of a softer, fluffier texture -- I'd say these doughnuts come off more bread-like than others I've tried, but in a good way. I also tried their famous crumb doughnut, and it was delicious! It's smaller but the cake texture is perfectly dense without being heavy, and the flavor is light yet satisfying. I'd come back to try their more elaborate doughnuts as well!

The donuts were okay, but not great. The glaze was too sweet for my taste. The texture was a bit dry and crumbly. I expected more flavor. Overall, just average.

They were sooooo good. So many great choices. The service was quick. The location although small, cute, and was efficient and got us the special treat we needed. The front window display will have you drooling. Truly an amazing location. I highly recommend this location. Can't wait to go back and next time we will get more!
