Walnut baklava, not too sweet so you can taste the flavors of the other ingredients. Best in the Bay Area !
10/10 - perfection!!
Another angle of baklava perfection!

I've recently tried a sample at an event and thought it was the best baklava I've ever had even when compared to my travels to the Middle East and Asia. The biggest difference is that it's not super sweet. I came in around 10:30am on a Saturday to pick up a tray for a party that night. This is a take out only place. There's no seating. Note: do place an order in advance by calling especially for a weekend. We had to return at 1pm to pick up a tray of pistachio because they were filling preorders. They also have them with walnuts and that was ready within 10 minutes at the time but I wanted to stick with the classic pistachio filling. Unfortunately they don't sell them by the piece but my partner and I were offered a sample before purchase. It was still warm. Still, I like mine to be at room temperature to allow the flavors to meld. We were advised to eat it upside down. I guess to minimize mess when biting into the flaky top, but I honestly didn't think it made a difference. Eat it how you want to. They also sell Kaymak in a little refrigerator. I was told to spread it on top of the pistachios. I may try it next time.

Incredible baklava. Walked into this place and was given a free sample of their baklava. Absolutely terrific. Light dough that isn't too dense or too airy - the right amount of crunch. Filling is a rich sweetness that doesn't overpower the nut flavor while keeping it decadent and moist. Pistachio and walnut both available and good. The pistachio is somewhat simpler without the rose water that I usually like, but some of the best baklava I've ever had.Only downside is you have to order a whole time for 25 bucks. Comes about to be about $2 per square which is fine for the quality but sometimes you don't want 12 pieces! Doing smaller 4 piece trays for $12 seems like a winning move.

Absolutely delicious! They only offer walnut and pistachio baklavas in trays of 12. For larger trays, I believe you have to preorder on their website or by phone. The baklavas are super crispy and the flavor is amazing. The walnut one is less sweet but the pistachio one has more of a nutty fragrance. The store is located in a convenient area with lots of street parking. The store itself is just a giant kitchen with a small counter to order and pay so don't expect to be coming here for a coffee chat or study day.

The best baklava you can find in the bay. You have to try this place! The owner is Turkish and super friendly. When you walk in, they immediately give you a sample to try! They serve pistachio and walnut flavors. Both are delicious. Note: when I tried to order pistachio on a Friday afternoon, they had run out! Be sure to call ahead to reserve. The boxes are made fresh to order. The price is around $27 per small tray (12 pieces) so it's not too cheap, but worth it. Crispy, thin layers, not too sweet, full of nuts. The workers are kind as well and greet you when you walk in. This is a grab and go type of spot. Love this place!

It was a rainy winter day and I was trying to go get some pizza around the corner and it had not opened up yet so I was walking around and trying to find something to nibble on or get coffee. Loan, behold, I searched and found this lovely establishment, which was making fresh baklava. Oh my gosh it seems like I just found the holy Grail the Baker was there showing all of his great talent working feverishly with the big Bro smile happy to talk to you about his wonderful dishes and how he lay laborers to make sure all the local restaurants in town have his great food. The cashier was lovely and helpful and I ended up eating many bites of baklava based on her insisting that I do. They made sure I got a fresh hot batch and I was in strict instructions to let it cool before I went And ate it all later. What a great way they even told me how to eat it, which was not how I thought I would but definitely upside down. This is totally a factory no-frills meeting the artisan chef making his food. What a joy how down to earth and accessible they are and they really greet you with broad smiles. It really made my day on a cold rainy day.

They gave a sample of pistachio and walnut to me. The pistachio was delicious but i pre- ordered a tray of walnut. I asked for less syrup. It wasn't too sweet. She suggested i eat it upside down. My tray was still warm. They will not mix both in one tray. Total: $27 for 12 pieces in the tray. I gobbled up my samples. The box's lid was open to let it cool naturally.. I shared with a friend. Walnut was good. Phyllo still crunchy. Tray was cute and fit into a to-go box. No need to take picture. They are near Best Buy and they have their sign out front. Big kitchen inside. Credit card accepted. Super fresh, right from the oven.

Some of the best baklava I've had! One of my friends brought this for a dinner party and it was so good. Their pistachio and walnut baklavas were amazing, both equally delicious. The quality of ingredients set them apart. They were so crispy, had a good amount of nuts and were not overly sweet

If I could give it 6 stars I would. Best baklava I've had in the US. Nothing else to say! I'd love to see them expand their offerings to other types of baked syrup desserts with a variety of nuts and kadayif. EXCELLENT!
