Perfection! Cookies are smaller but accordingly less expensive. Excellent if you want to try several kinds. My favorite is the gluten free choc covered shortbread, which was a surprise given I only got it because they were out of everything else. Now it is my go to. The cookie is especially short because it lacks gluten so it crumbles in your mouth! The gluten containing shortbread is still good, but just not the same.Come on the earlier side because they run out of their most popular kinds

i've been here a few times. I liked the ice cream sandwich. I like the toffee chip and snickerdoodle. I think they could be bigger cookies but they are absolutely yummy.

Ex-coworker heard that these cookies were good, so we walked over after having lunch in the area. Even though it was MLK Monday, we were the only customers inside. It smelled amazing and there were several racks of cookies.I ordered a Cinnamon Spice Cookie ($2.50) and ate it there.+Still warm-Hard and crunchy-I asked the cashier what the difference was between this and the Snickerdoodle, and she said that it had more spices. Not sure what extra spices it had, but it reminded me of a snickerdoodle, which I like, but wasn't expecting.Side notes:1.) Limited indoor seating: 2 tables with stools and napkins available *Verdict: Since I prefer cookies that are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, I don't think I'll be back.

I am surprised how good their reviews are... The ones I had were very crunchy, maybe even stale. & with how expensive they are, you would think they would be the huge, chunky cookies like Crumble, but they are the size of storebought cookies. They also serve ice cream.

Food (1 of 2 stars): Ordered 1 Chocolate Chip and 1 Cookies & Cream cookie. There are lots of flavors though and others I'd be willing to try. The cookies were a bit smaller than I expected but they were overall pretty good! The Chocolate Chip was good as is, but would be even better if I was able to heat it up. The Cookies & Cream didn't have as strong of a flavor as other Cookies & Cream cookies I've had before. Service (2 of 2 stars): Workers were really welcoming and friendly!Ambiance (1 of 1 star): Really open space that smells really good with the scent of fresh baked cookies!

These are HANDS DOWN the BEST cookies in the City! Also nothing like walking down Mission on a nice day to get some cookies! Ambience is awesome! The quality of the cookie is where its at! I highly recommend the cookies and cream and toffee flavor! I haven't ventured away from those because I just really like those 2. I cannot emphasize enough that this is a MUST GO TO SPOT if you're ever in San Francisco! The cookie is a nice hand-size, where its thin enough to have a nice chew. And the edges are just thicker than the center to where it provides a mountain of a crisp not too crunchy edge. The cost may be a bit pricey for the cookie but I cannot emphasize enough that it is WELL WORTH IT. Coming from a frugal person like me, every time I bring this for holidays for fam that's not in the City; its a hit!!Something to keep in mind is that they run out of flavors quick because I think they get a lot of company catering orders so if you go late in the business hours - its at your own risk.

Finally got around to trying this place after living in the area for several years. TL;DR--it's good! I wouldn't advise making a special trip, but if you are nearby, definitely check them out! I tried a few of their bread & butter (no pun intended) staples, toffee, cookies & cream, and classic chocolate chip. Of those, the classic chocolate chip was probably my favorite. The quality of the chips was fantastic, and definitely elevates it above your ordinary cookie. I do feel that $2.50 for a single cookie is steep, given the size (about the diameter of a Coke can, and the thickness of a small notebook), but that is ultimately a preference. Everything is expensive right now, so it's hard to say where this falls on the spectrum of "acceptable."The cookies are crispy, and have a bite to them (not soft). Personally, I like this texture, but it's not for everyone, so if that's not your thing, then you may want to skip this place. I also tried two of their "specials"--the chocolate covered peanut butter cookie, and the chocolate covered shortbread. Both of these were highlights (the latter probably being my overall favorite), again for the super-high quality of the chocolate, as well as the generous coatings. They do not skimp on chocolate. However, those were also pricey at $3.75 and $5.75, respectively. When I'm back in the area, I may come in just for the shortbread alone--it's that good! Fair warning: both of these have a bit of an "oily" texture and so they are slippery and melt fast. I suspect this is due the fresh ingredients & baking (especially with the peanut butter). I did not like they that charge you $0.75 for a box to store the cookies. The prices are already high enough, and especially if you are buying more than one, the box should be included. Hopefully they change that policy in the future.

This place has been on my list for a while due to all the amazing reviews, however, I am sad to say it didn't live up to the hype for me. First off, the cookies are very small for the price. $2.50 a cookie isn't crazy, but the fact that you can eat it in two bites makes it not very worth it for me. We got 4 cookies total- chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, cookies and cream, and walnut chocolate chip. All the cookies were slightly hard. We came on a Sunday at 7pm, so it's probably because we got an older batch. I prefer my cookies crispier on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside. Our favorite was definitely the cookies and cream. It was had the best texture and flavor in our opinion,m. The classic chocolate chip cookie was just okay. Nothing special. I've had way better. Our least favorite was the snickerdoodle. This one was hard and lacked in flavor. Overall, I don't think I would come back.

Anthony's is the place to go when looking for fresh cookies reminiscent of home baking. For $2.50, I got a classic chocolate chip cookie. The cookie had a nice deep brown color, with crispy edges, a soft inside, and semi-sweet chocolate.I got there an hour after the bakery opened and they had already sold out of some of their most popular cookies. Go right when it opens for a larger variety of options!

A San Francisco classic These cookies never disappoint. Every flavor is so good. The chewy texture of these cookies is one of the best. I've had three parties already where I've used them as giveaways and party favors. And I know my guests love them as well.
