One of our favorite Denver spots to eat! The menu is Sam's is HUGE and there's something for everyone. Their omelettes and pancakes are especially yummy. A couple of tips:--Go on Yelp before you go and get on the waitlist. Especially for weekend breakfast/brunch, there's often a long wait. --If you have food allergies or have diet restrictions, the waitstaff are helpful and accommodating. (i.e. substituting egg whites, asking for no butter on toast, etc).

My friend and I came in for brunch, and honestly our service was terrible. We felt rushed the entire time. Our mimosas came out 2 minutes before our meals, no big deal, it's busy.However, literally 3 bites into our meal, our server drops off our check (older blonde lady DJ or BJ) and doesn't ask us how how we're doing, how our food is tasting, nothing. We proceed to have to flag her down, over and over, to get more drinks, to get straws etc. She dropped our check for a SECOND time after she finally serves our second drink, 45 mins into our breakfast.We felt more and more rushed, despite the fact that we waited much longer than necessary for even just a greeting, and asking for not only our drinks but meals during our first interaction, and now you're dropping off a check AGAIN?? My girlfriend and I come here often and have never had bad service. We were shocked by how we were treated, and it's disappointing, considering how she was treating other tables, and we can't help but wonder what we did wrong.As two women in the restaurant industry, it was disheartening to see how she treated us, and how she stared us down as we were finally checking out, and felt uncomfortable changing the tip from the lowest recommended (20%)

Love that it was covered in green chili and they put your potato option inside, but mine was almost all hash browns and the sausage sadly had a funky texture. 3 stars- Country fried steak: the hub said was just ok. 3 stars- Morning specials don't apply to to go ordersLowlights:- No Coca-Cola products- No reservations so can get crowded on the weekendsWent for a quick breakfast but would like to come back for a weekend with some brunch bevs and order a different item. Might try one of their smaller burritos they promo up front.

I visited over Labor Day weekend while my parents were in town. The food is delicious and affordable. Service was great without being overbearing. And the restaurant itself has that old diner feel with a touch of modern. Parking is a little sparse but that is my only complaint lol

I've been to every Sam's No. 3, including the now sadly closed Aurora location. None of them disappointed in the least.First of all, the food is not to be missed. There is a large, extensive, mouthwatering menu, and it's Colorado on a plate! Today I had the "Wild Bill Stacker", which included potatoes (I went with hashbrowns), eggs, bison meat, and of course, green chile (you can get it the regular way with pork in it, but I prefer the vegan kind, which is also readily offered)! It was a feast for the senses. The portions are so large you can likely get two meals for the price of one - just ask for a box! The French toast is also not to be missed, and try one of the great espresso drinks, too! They are also wonderful about detailed order customization.The ambience is comfortable and easy-going, and family friendly. It has a retro-meets-contemporary feel to it, and the service is always solid!Whether you are a native or just passing through, you owe it to yourself to give Sam's No. 3 a visit!

Every visit my sisters and I make back home, we always make sure to stop by and get breakfast. The last visit we tried the aurora skillet and fell in love, we got over easy eggs this time and I think it made the meal 10x better than it already was. It was our first time trying the sweet cream pancakes so we got a short stack and they were probably the best pancakes I've had in life, they are what I think of when I think of a perfect pancake. For drinks we always get some type of mimosa and this time we got the mango mimosa and it was so good but I couldn't finish it all. We didn't wait long to be seated and our food was served probably 10ish minutes after we ordered. The whole vibe of the place is just really cool there's so much to look at on the walls and they have TVs up so you could catch games going on or sports highlights. We took our grandpa for the first time and he loved it!

I have always liked Sam's No 3. I found this restaurant to be understaffed which is not uncommon these days. We had to wait twenty minutes or eat the bar-so we ate at the bar because we had somewhere to be. I just noticed a lot of empty tables and people waiting to be seated. Food was great!! I had chicken noodle soup and Brian had a huge burrito. Bathrooms need a deep clean. We will be back to one of the locations but they need to staff up and clean those bathrooms.

This place always looks busy every time we drive by, so today we decided to give it a try. Wait was only about 20 minutes (I was expecting longer). They have a giant menu selection - it was a little overwhelming trying to narrow down what I wanted, but I ended up going with the high maintenance stack with tater tots, which was overall satisfying. The drinks and food came out fast, and our waitress kindly checked in often to see if we were doing okay. I'll definitely have to try one of their Bloody Mary's the next time I come back. We overall were very happy with our meal and service!

I order from here a lot. 93% of the time the order is correct. Most mishaps seem to be from forgotten drink by delivery service. I like the variety of the menu. I've discovered sometimes it is cheaper to order side dishes & I can make up my own dish. Mashed potatoes are real potatoes. Chicken noodle soup has good favor but noodles are my mushy. Grilled pork chops are on point.
