Sam's Boat

Myself and some coworker friends came to Sam's boat on the last day of school. We got there right in time around 4:50-5 and we got seated right away. Reggie was our server and he was so friendly & attentive. (Not to mention patient because we were too busy taking to look at the menu right away). It was graduation weekend and this started picking up shortly after but Reggie was always checking on us. He was awesome! We started with a cup of queso and the crab bites - recommend both. You can add meat to the queso but we opted not to. My friend and I shared a pound of crawfish to see how it was. They were a good size and had a good a flavor. I kind of wish we ordered more (next time). I also ordered the lemon butter flounder and I would definitely order that again!

Our server Reggie was the man! He had such an infectious energy with us and gave us a pitcher of water and was all around an excellent host!The food was decent, but a smidge pricey. The crawfish étouffée had great body, but was a bit too heavy! The crab queso hit!Cheers!

Love it for lunch & Great service from Natalie. I've been here a lot and she always does a great job.

I've been here several times and the service has been hit or miss. I've come and had great service and then I've had bad service.My last visit was to see the NBA finals with three other friends service was not well at all. We ordered a couple pitchers of beer and some shots and we had to wait a long time for our food, they for even brought us the wrong wings! Nevertheless you were not charged for those and we ate them LOL. I like the idea that they have outside seating with TVs with the lake as a backdrop, very breathtaking. I will see how things go forward in the future I will probably go back the wings are very good and the drinks are very good.

I'm only giving 2 stars for our last server & the manager tonight. Everytime I come here my food gets messed up or it takes forever to get something just for it to be wrong, EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked for a house Caesar, this man brings a garden salad. I said no I wanted a house Caesar. He brings a Caesar with chicken ($14 compared to a $4 side salad). I told him I just wanted the side one the HOUSE SALAD, CEASAR. Literally what the menu says & he tells me they don't have one, I pointed it out on the menu then he still charged me for the $14 ceasar salad. Don't come here.

I live in Towne Lake and keep giving Sam Boat chance after chance, and they disappoint every time. Slow service, slow to get your food, you have to ask for refills or anything else. And then the food is overcooked. What is it going to take???

Really sucks, the atmosphere/boardwalk is awesome. The good news is there are plenty additional restaurants to choose from next time. READ THE REVIEWSCame early for it dinner on a Saturday to beat the crowd, wait wasn't long to be seated.... However the service was horrible. We had three different staff members take our drink orders and yet it still took 20 mins to get half the drinks we ordered.Two people did not get their food until everyone finished their plates and the waitress was very slow and inattentive . We noticed we were not the only tables with this issue. When we spoke to the manager... he comped the last two plates that were not received in time and said he knows about the issues and working on it for months.However, not once did we hear a simple apology from the gazillion screw ups throughout the entire service. A simple apology would truly go a long way. This seems so unprofessional, the way it was handled, the way they dismissed us and the fact that it's a known issue. I feel if we got up that many times to get napkins, check on drinks, constantly repeat orders and still missed two entrees... the way they served us and almost spilled on us twice is crazy. I hope things improv quickly.
