Disgusting "stir fry spicy cumin chicken" aka old deep fried nuggets re-heated in the microwave with no cumin.

This is Chicken Lo Mein in the trash, where it belongs, since I ordered Chow Mein. The noodles are very soggy in this dish.
No sugar on donuts? Wtf is the point of ordering them.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I ordered through UberEats. The delivery was fine, but the food was not. The fried rice is horrible & the sweet & sour chicken has no flavor at all and the sauce is extremely thin. I should have ordered from Panda Express.

Ordered $80 worth of food through Ubereats. Fried Dumplings 3.0Egg Drop Soup 3.0Vegetable Egg Rolls 2.0Combo Lo Mein 1.5General Tso Chicken 2.0Chicken Chow Mein 1.5Everything was so bland. Mostly soggy. Tasted like they washed the only flavor it could of possibly had off. It was so close to tasting like nothing. Like eating water food. I def will never eat here again. Overpriced, under portioned, and extremely under seasoned.

Please if you reading this, seek chinese food elsewhere. One night we were lazy and desperate for take-out and made the mistake of ordering chinese food from this place. The only thing enjoyable was the crab puffs and then it all went downhill from there. The lo mein had such a weird taste and smell, it may have been just really strong usage of white pepper but we were not fans. Everything else was bland, mushy, and flavorless... The delivery took forever too. In Houston with so many other great options there is just no reason to order from here.

Possibly the worst Chinese food ever.Stay away.$70 worth of food, pretty large sampling, just horrible. Almost all of the food had a chemical taste. Maybe it's something in their water. The only dish that didn't have it was the fried dumplings. But, all of the dishes with rice or noodles had a horrible chemical taste. This was across the board with everyone eating. It was so bad that we had to throw it all away. Why can't we get good Chinese food in this part of town?Sad...very sad!

Ordered to go for work and this place was awful. Food was cold despite only a ten minute commute and tasted like it was defrosted freezer meals. We had so many leftovers because people did not enjoy and didn't want to take home. We ordered the lo mein (noodles were gummy) general tsos (chicken was dry and cold almost frozen at center) and beef and broccoli (mediocre at best).

Ordered on door dash. They left out our crab rangoons. Fried rice that we paid extra for was steamed rice with soy sauce on it. Everything lacked flavor, highly disappointed. Won't be coming back

First time ordering from Sam's Cafe due to the fact that I found my self in the medical center. Unfortunately, I didn't read their reviews from previous customers or else I would have not order. I only thought of convince when I was looking. Anyways, I ordered the Combo Lo Mein, I requested extra snap peas and what they did is put the snap peas on top of the platter so that when I opened it was one of the first things to see. Still there were only a few snap peas. Then, I continued to be disappointed when I realized that they use "can" mushrooms. Yes, CAN mushrooms! How nasty is that. That totally ruined my appetite, I despise can mushrooms. So then I moved on to dessert. I ordered a strawberry cheese cake. Huh! What I got is something that they probably bought at Kroger that comes pre-sliced or something like that! It is a store bought cheese cake! Like for real? Sam's Cafe is never again going to get an order from me, they are too many good restaurants in Houston and I don't nee to settle for mediocre!
