Saltgrass Steak House

Well we're pretty unimpressed.We came with a large group to celebrate. I'd called earlier in the day so they could be prepared... and that's when the disappointment started.First our reservation was for 7:00 - but even with that we weren't seated until 7:35.Second, once we were seated and ordered drinks... we were advised that the restaurant was out of sirloins, ribeyes, and burgers. If that'd been mentioned when I called, or when we were waiting for our table, we would have been saved a lot of trouble.So now we're at a steakhouse where most of the steaks are out of stock... but we ordered anyway. By the time we ordered it's 8:15 and we are just hungry.But no! Turns out they were out of a few sides too, orders changed.Finally got food at 8:45 - it was ok. Salads/soups and appetizers came at the same time as the entrees. My ribs were dry and had obviously been under a heat lamp for a while.We won't be going back.

Kelley is an amazing server! Also, the location is always very clean. I like the crab cakes.

Our waiter was JJ and he was great! I would highly recommend asking for him. The food was very mediocre- typical chain food type steak. The bar took forever getting the drinks ready to bring to the table.

Today was my first time eating at Saltgrass (I usually only go for Happy Hour) ! Christian was our waiter and his service was amazing ! He answered every question and made suggestions on items as well. Each item he recommended was amazing ! The manager Terrence(spell check) was in the area as well and helped out and just gave overall amazing top tier service! Customer service has gone downhill over the years at different establishments, but it is still good to see places truly take care of you ! I live on the Southwest side and came all the way to Pearland and would definitely visit this location again! Thank you both for taking care of me and my mother today 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I ate at the bar and it appeared dirty. The gentleman sitting next to me had to send his steak back because it was "well past medium". I was offered bread but had to remind the bartender and it took quite awhile. My steak came out burnt, dry and filled with gristle. My salad plate was never cleared and the bartender never checked to see if any of the food was prepared correctly. I even had to wave down another employee to tab me out.

Recently went here for a quick lunch date with my friend and food was decent...Parking: private lot, shared w/Sam's BoatAmbiance: Super CasualApp: Chips and queso w/o brisket (good I would order again)Salad: Caesar: dressing was delicious (salad was perfectly dressedEntree: Salmon Oscar was trash. Thin piece of over cooked salmon w/ crab cooked in just butter. No cream sauce or seasoning. It came with fried asparagus and Mac. The noodles were over cooked but the asparagus was really tasty. So out of all the food, I liked queso, salad and asparagus. Needless to say, I won't be back. Enter at your own risk, you've been warned:(P.S. they give beer battered bread complimentary and it's bland as well, so I forgot to mention it

I enjoyed the casual vibe in this steakhouse chain. 2nd time visiting this week. The potato cheese soup is delicious. I ordered the salmon Oscar and it was cooked perfectly. The crab on top was sweet and delicate. The fried asparagus underneath the fish was a treat. I will always come back to order this dish. Service was great! Plenty of parking and no waiting for a table at lunchtime.

Saltgrass Pearland was very accommodating for birthday party event. We had two host for our group and that made a very large difference in receiving your orders receiving your receipt for payment.The food was served at the right temperature, and at the time that the other remaining party was able to get their order. I will party was set up very well family style setting.

I wanted to go to a steak house in Houston, TX. We decided to go here since it was close by my friend's house. The meal and tip cost $117.The place can accommodate a small or large group. The food was okay. I do not recommend the brisket queso skillet, it was extremely salty and inedible. The Caesar salad was drenched and wilted. The steak was ok considering it's a steak house.Our server was friendly; however, he said he would take off the brisket queso skillet from our tab but didn't. We also didn't see him after receiving the check to get it fixed. He did not come out for sometime so the hostess had to help complete our transaction. I didn't bother asking the hostess to remove the skillet because we had to leave and it took a lot of our time already just to pay especially since the barcode scan to pay didn't work.I don't really recommend this place because the service was unsatisfactory to okay and overall the food was salty... I thought Saltgrass was just the name of the restaurant.
