Saint Germain French Bakery & Cafe

My family quickly stopped here for breakfast before a day of travel and their chocolate croissants are delicious! The bakery is mostly peanut allergy friendly as well. They also have good coffee. It's definitely expensive ($6.95 per croissant) but it is good!

I love the location on Howell Mill . As such, when I saw this location I had to stop in. This bakery is located in the Shops of Atlanta. It is a small location, but has a decent selection of baked goods. I ordered the peach dessert and a cappuccino. My friend had the Tiramisu and a hot chocolate. Our desserts were given to us immediately. We waited a few minutes for our drinks. The restaurant had a small amount of bar seating inside. There was one table directly outside the restaurant. However, there are a number of seating options within close proximity of the bakery. We lucked up and scored the one table directly outside! The peach dessert was just ok. I did not enjoy it nearly as much as I like my desserts from the Howell mill location. It did not seem as fresh. My friend also advised her dessert was just ok. I was a little disappointed because I told her how great the place was! I may return in the future and get macaroons or another dessert option. It's a great place to just sit out and chat with company and/ or people watch!

Having walked past this place for years, I finally decided to pop in to check it out. The space is quite small but does a good job of giving that quaint European pâtisserie vibe. It being my first time, I asked one of the guys behind the counter for any recommendations or which items he liked. Unfortunately, he was absolutely of zero help in that department and offered no suggestions. Since I'm not a fan of macarons, but I love croissants, I decided to order an Almond Croissant. It was essentially croissant dough folded with almond paste and topped with powdered sugar and it was absolutely delicious! Customer service aside, I would go back just for that Almond Croissant.

I like the one on Howell Mill Rd better due to the sitting space and the AC. This location was cute and all but there is like limited sitting space. A counter with 4 chairs. Very small and it does get very crowded very quickly. The doors were opened and it was a hot day so it was hot inside the bakery too. However the napoleon and the mousse was delicious!

Great coffee and pastries! Friendly service with cozy inside! I got black coffee because I enjoy the beans. My wife loved the lavender coffee. The lemon square pastry was delicious! If they have more, it's highly recommended!

Love the pastries and various baked options. Been to other locations, first time here. Bit small but appropriate for the area and amazing staff, very patient and friendly. The raspberry tart's custard was thicker than my partner's used to but the fruit was perfect and crust pretty good. Overall wasn't as amazing as his first tart from a different location. The lemon drop was very lemon-y and cake inside was pillowy soft. Decadent comes to mind because it's amazing but can't have too much in one sitting. Also tried a peach Bellini chocolate which was interesting, always love the chocolate itself though! And last but not least, croque monsieur (ham and cheese sandwich) was very cheesy and okay, partner said it wasn't anything special. Everything was as described in the name so overall satisfied with the purchases. Will be back to try the wines one day and different pastry. Thank you!

I went to Saint Germain over the weekend while avoiding the rain at the French Market. Saint Germain can never go wrong! This was first time I've been inside this location and this location definitely reminds me of a French bakery I've went to in Paris. I absolutely loved experiencing those vibes. When we arrived, there was a line to order but the line went pretty fast. There was a lot of employees working and they had a great process of getting orders out. Lastly, I got a piece of carrot cake which was great. I love their carrot cake as it is sweet but not overpowering!Note: This is inside Buckhead Village. You will have to find the limited street parking or parking the underground garage.

Stumbled upon this little gem while exploring Buckhead Village. Stooped in for Cappuccinos and sweet treats (Black Forrest & Salted Caramel). Excellent service, even during a busy time. Authentic Parisian Charme and taste. Definitely recommend!

Everything I have gotten here I've loved. Such a great spot to grab some yummy pastry's and a coffee while I study.
