This restaurant is conveniently located east of 99 freeway on the north side of the road inside a shopping plaza. There is plenty of parking just a few steps away.I visited to place a takeout order of jollof rice and pepper goat soup. Pepper Goat soup can be spicy, but they did ask me me how spicy I wanted it. If you've never had goat soup I would compare it to oxtail soup. Oxtail are much larger pieces though. Goat is better, healthier and leaner than oxtail. It's also high in iron and low in saturated fats. This restaurant serves good quality food and friendly plus quick service. The pepper goat soup was delicious and meaty. For once, I've gotten a bowl of pepper goat soup that is mostly meat pieces versus gristle fatty parts. The soup and it's meat was seasoned perfectly. It was not too spicy at all to where I'd break a sweat just trying to eat it. It was definitely perfect. The jolloff rice was good and seasoned good too. I wil definitely be back for this meal.I'm so happy to have found authentic quality Nigerian food much closer to me in Katy. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for some good, quality healthy food with even lots of gluten free options.

It's is in a nice shopping center and looks clean on the inside and outside. We Ordered the jerk chicken and rice as well as the kabob chicken and fried plantains. The chicken was good had a BBQ flavor to it and the rice was ok but too much curry was used inside the rice in my opinion. We also ordered the fried plantains and they were not good at all. Unfortunately, the plantains were very dry and hard to swallow and had no flavor whatsoever, highly disappointing. We also ordered the chicken kabob and it also was covered in way to much curry and had raw onions which was not listed on the menu that it came with them. Which is an issue as I'm highly allergic to onions. Highly recommend them to list their ingredients for people with food allergies. Bad thing is We only received one napkin and one set of cutlery (fork and spoon) for two people as well. Food seems authentic but we will not be eating here again as most of the food I could not eat due to the spices and ingredients and my allergies. They should really state what ingredients are in their food as many people like to eat different foods but do have allergies. Other than those things the staff was friendly and others may enjoy their food. Unfortunately, I was not able to.

I am Nigerian so I know good Nigerian food and this place is it! I've been in Katy almost a year and there aren't really any nearby Nigerian restaurants in the area and I'm so glad I stumbled across this gem. I probably order from here once a week. The jollof rice, egusi soup, catfish pepper soup, okra soup are 10/10. This place never disappoints and the customer serving is amazing! This is my go to spot for naija food in the katy area!

Just moved to katy. I eat African food maybe once a week. The first time I tried this place , the egusi soup had a weird after taste but i gave them another shot due to them being so close and OMG. maybe that was just a bad day when i first went because the second time was some of the best egusi soup with chicken i have ever had !! very nice people , they make the food in a nice time. portions could definitely be bigger though.

I love this place! They make your food in good timing. The guy at the cash register is sweet and welcoming. My only thing is their food portions are a bit tiny than expected. When I order my egusi and add tripe meet and goat meet I received like 2 pieces of tripe and 1 piece of goat meat. I'd prefer bigger portions of the food. But still it is DELICIOUS 10/10 recommend! I love it!
