Retro Cafe

A cozy little place in our neighborhood. The broth was the northern-style dark broth. The banh mi were good too. It's nice to have a place to go to without having to go to Bellaire and Katy. Also, the decor for the 80s and video game theme made it very nostalgic of the past of home cooked Vietnamese food.

I seriously love everything about this place! Food is authentic and tasty, the Nintendo Mario decor brings back childhood memories and Devin is so attentive, providing the best customer service ever -- Highly recommend Korean Chicken Wings, Combination Sandwich and the chicken pho.

Love this place, they have really good meatball sandwiches! Must try! I usually get about 5-10 bánh mì for the Fam!

Other than the fact that they close Mondays this is a clean , and yummy and satisfying place to catch a viet meal. I love that their menu is small and simple. Tells a lot of about what's going on in the back. If the kitchen is small the menu should be small. One of my go-to for every week usually a pho or ban mi.

I called in an order as I was really wanting some pho, I stopped by to pick it up three people ahead of me someone behind me as I'm waiting I see the younger guy behind the counter proceeds to blow his nose stick both of his fingers in his nose and continue to wipe it with his hands and then continues on into grabbing food and containers behind the counter touching the order screen without washing his hands. Not only did the lady and I look at each other we both walked out absolutely disgusting if you can do this in front of customers makes me question when nobody is around. I will not be back.

I kid you not, I've eaten here at least 4 times this month alone. They Literally have the BEST pork vermicelli EVER!! The pork is so fresh and so are the veggies!! And such Great customer service!! This place will always be my Go-TO pho place.

Food was perfect as always and Devon is pretty awesome!Retro rolls, beef with rice, and sandwiches are always on point!

Hands down, best egg rolls in town. I know what you're thinking..."Egg rolls are good anywhere.." and while that may be true, at Retro Cafe, they are to die for!I find myself randomly craving them, and every time I stop in, the service and deliciousness are consistently great! The owner is super cool, it's a really great spot, I highly recommend coming here. The pho is wonderful and egg rolls are perfect!

Got a pork banh mi , so good! Everything fresh and delicious. Great people! Don't have to drive into Asiatown.
