I ordered jerk chicken, my friend had brown stew chicken. She said it was very good. My chicken was spicy and good.I ordered online for pick up. The food was ready when I got there. They had music playing inside that gives vacation-like Jamaica vibes. Portions to price is excellent. I want to try to oxtail and the patties. Would go back.

Reggae Hunt is one of my go-to Caribbean spots in Houston. It is pretty bare bones inside but it is a great vibe from the minute you step inside. The staff is friendly and polite which just enhances the experience. The food is very tasty and they give large portions so I always have leftovers. this place is great if you want some really good Caribbean food with no frills.

The vibes in this restaurant is immaculate. I immediately felt like I was transported back home to the island. The servers were friendly and attentive. Originally, I came to order the oxtail, but after seeing the $50 price tag, I had to settle for the jerk chicken. My order was one beef Patty, jerk chicken plate, and lemonade for $30.... Ok cool, this is definitely more of a $20 meal but "inflation" or whatever. The food was very delicious and well packaged for it to be to-go. The jerk chicken was not swimming in sauce like other comments stated and the rice & peas wasn't mushy. Maybe they came on a bad day. I think all of the food was delicious and filling and VERY authentic. I would definitely drive back here from Pearland. 10/10

I keep going back! For this meal it take longer to prepare, but it is so worth the wait. Fish, rice, and vegetables. Half of the plate went home(to-go). It's a whole red snapper.

Stopped by to pick up dinner and got the Jerk chicken, plantains and a beef patty. The jerk was sauced instead of dry and I really liked the sauce on the chicken. Was also well cooked. Plantains had a nice sweetness too it and beef patty was solid. Service was quick and I didn't have any issues. The price was a little more expensive then other Caribbean spots, but I had a good experience.

Authentic Jamaican food. So so good. Very good service...staff was very nice and accommodating. Nice atmosphere very chill. That lemonade though! I need a fountain of that lemonade. I got one while there and one to go...but it didn't make it home. Lol. So much food ! I definitely had some good leftovers.

The food was bomb. My friend and I shared the goat curry and jerk chicken with an order of fried plantain. Hit. The. Spot. Definitely a try for some good synthetic Caribbean food.

We wanted some Jamaican food so we stopped by Reggae Hut on a VERY hot Saturday. It wasn't crowded when we got there so we were able to order right away. We got the fish, rice and plantain to share because it was a really huge serving. We tried sitting outside but it was way too hot so we moved inside. Our food came out quick but they forgot the plantain and the serving size of it was super small. The service was decent too, definitely better than other JA restaurants I've been too.

Thank you Mr. Marcus for listening to your customers and putting more meat into the pies. They are delicious and the best in Houston. I ordered the jerk chicken, rice and peas with vegetables for my brother and he loved it. I will try it one day but for now, I am hooked on the meat pies!!! The staff is always friendly.

The Brown Stew Fish is one of many can't-miss experiences at the Reggae Hut. I've been a patron of this restaurant for almost as long as I've been a fan of the breakfast Klub (2001). If you don't know .... Go find out. It's worth it.
