"Awesome beer and awesome service. We didn't eat but plan on coming back tonight. Great beer selection and great art. All around, two thumbs up!! Will come back!!"
"Not bad yard bird at The Chicken Barn. We stopped when in the area today. The place had a strong A health grade. The service was friendly but very slow. The fried chicken was good but not spectacular. The sides of biscuits and fries were fine. The fried chicken livers and fried chicken tenders were the table favorites. I would not drive out of my way to visit but would certainly visit again if in the area."

I also threw a couple sweet potatoes in the bowl and it offered a balanced of sweet & savory.Cava is always consistent, I can't be upset with the service as we are always waiting for fresh harissa chicken. Who can be mad at that?! Overall, I always enjoy cava and would recommend."
"Lunch special, two slices, a drink less then $9. My spinach feta and tomato pizza was delicious. It was hot, with a great chew and a fantastic undercarriage. The buffalo chicken pizza did not disappoint either. Just the right amount of spice and a great crunch with every bite. This is a joint, nothing fancy but good pizza."
"Still outstanding. Delicious, clean, friendly and more Easy parking. Al easy to order in the app."
"Stopped in for some pizza and wine/ beer. We got the pineapple pizza with cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were so yummy I could literally just eat those alone and be happy. Pineapple pizza was good! Our server was very sweet and the restaurant was clean! It's your typical charming pizza place in a small town!"
"I was doing a few deliveries in the Durham area and that was after an 8 hour shift at my day job. So I had an appetite built up. I passed by and decided to go inside. So I checked this place out with no research and no knowledge of what they really offered. The custom bowl is a huge trend now and Farmside is a new guest to the party, except this is no chain, at least not yet! I ordered the Rancher bowl with grilled chicken, black beans, roasted corn, avocado, feta cheese, red onion, corn tortilla chips, shredded kale, seasoned brown rice, cilantro lime dressing and a little honey Sriracha drizzle on top. Not sure how Sriracha fits in with the Southwest, but whatevs! They asked how much dressing I wanted, and I went with medium level. Truthfully, I could have used more. So I asked for a cup of their jalapeno dressing on the side and that elevated it from pretty good to really good! More flavor, more punch. On a down note, I wasn't able to get any LaFarm sourdough bread, they were already out.The beverages were good, I went with the pineapple mint juice, super refreshing. This was a good place to go for a quick healthy meal, I also like that they have outdoor seating."
"I had a wonderful dinner at East End Bistrot. First off the decor is fire, I love how much thought Giorgio Group puts into all their restaurants. They have a great patio setup as well as the weather warms up. They have a great cocktail and wine list. I started off with the sparkling rose. I did order two glasses of it. The first glass was from an open bottle that was way flatter than the second glass I ordered. It was still quite tasty though! For apps my friend and I shared the crab souffle. So tasty! Loved pouring the hot butter right through the tasty souffle. We also got the asparagus salad that was a refreshing spring dish. We then shared the delmonico with the roasted jewel potatoes. The delmonico (rib eye with more fat than their other rib eye option) was delicious and cooked perfectly. The kitchen sent us this amazing goat cheese and strawberry bite after dinner and we also got the guava cheesecake. The perfect sweet endings to the meal. Our server was Cal and he was great. It was a really lovely evening. It's expensive, but that's the whole vibe the entire space is going for. I'll be back!"
"Read a number of reviews on this location. I wanted to appreciate my mom and taker for a nice meal and get served versus serving others. The first thing we noticed walking in the door was the fragrance and aroma of fresh food. We were promptly greeted and seated. There was only one server for the 20 ish tables. Our server hustled and provided attentive and courteous service. The speed of service was nearly perfect. Our food was presented well and we were very flavorful. The facilities were clean and well decorated for the holidays. The chef and manager stopped by the table and greeted us and wanted to thank us for trying their restaurant. Overall exceeded my expectations. My mom loved her food and we had an enjoyable evening together."
"I do not have enough words on how incredible Thai 55 is! Recommended by an incredible friend, we came here together and you can tell how great the people are the moment you walked in. The absolute kindest and most intentional people work here, they really make the entire experience elevate to another level. HUGE shoutout to Tommy- he is so warm and welcoming, also very fun and funny! He greets everyone with a smile and warmth, truly incredible. The inside is also very cute, spacious, and very clean. The menu is filled with incredible dishes, I found it hard to narrow what I wanted down cause everything looks so good. I found myself thinking of wanting to come here every week so I could have a little bit of everything. I'm also a huge fan of eggplant, Tommy recommended I get the lunch special (which usually range between $10-$13 per plate, huge portions and comes with rice- incredible deal). Worry not about the spice levels- you can choose! You MUST get their Thai tea! I'm a fan of it coming in a mason jar with a handle, looks very pretty (aesthetic, you can mix the cream into the tea- sadly my photo is too blurry to do it Justice). Super delicious! For dessert- you have to get the mango sticky rice. A top tier dessert, not too sweet, tastes really creamy and refreshing. Always a beautiful balance of flavors. Be sure to come here to check them out! 10/10 would recommend :)"
"Milo's is a new European-inspired cafe in Morrisville with a beautiful interior. We tried their Strawberry Matcha Latte, which had a good balance of sweet and fruity flavors alongside the matcha. Overall, Milo's is a solid spot for catching up with friends or getting some work done. We're looking forward to watching them grow!"

I officially know that i had never had good fried chicken until I met Chicken Barn. New Yorker passing through, and we searched online for saw this place was good, plus they had a drive-through. We took the chicken back to the hotel and the first bite made me pause so long because of how tender the meat was, and how perfectly crispy the skin was. Also worth knowing that the chicken wasn't oily. How do they do it? Why can't NY'ers have fried chicken like this? If you're in the area, defo try the fried chicken here. We ordered white meat, but I suspect the dark meat is pretty good too. The biscuit was light, and perfect. But the chicken is the star.

First time at cava was a success! Sad it took me so long to try, apparently I've been missing out! These pita chips and garlic spread have me in a chokehold! The summer drinks are good as well

Outstanding pizza. Delicious thin crust that NYC dreams are made of. Place is mostly good for takeout or lunch since the dining room is very casual. 2 slice lunch special is great! Humongous slices. Salads have not impressed me much so I will quit those.

Very friendly staff, quick service, and.....well....we really like saying LUIGI'S! . The pizza, pasta, and salad were all good. My only complaint is there could have been more pepperoni on the pizza. The pizza sauce is on the sweeter side, but that was not at all a bad thing. The serving sizes are quite plentiful. We ordered a large pizza, chicken parmesan pasta, and stuffed shells, and there was enough for the four of us to have dinner and lunch the next day.

Phenomenal service and good food. I preferred the hors d'oeuvres and apps over the actual main entrees. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and attentive. He never left us wanting. He had great cocktail suggestions and awesome appetizer suggestions too. We started with the hamachi appetizer which was so fresh and yummy and also had the boulettes de veau which are basically very delicious meatballs. Unfortunately, my filet mignon was a little over cooked so I couldn't give the place 5 stars. I like my steak medium rare and it came out a little more like medium to medium well. The flavor was good but just over cooked. We kind of decided that next time we'll just go here for yummy cocktails and a smorgasbord of apps.
Visit Restaurant Page"I found it strange that one of the Pickled Onion locations was so close to The Pickled Pub. We decided to stop in here to watch a game and to grab food and beers. It was a round of beers and the fried pickles and philly cheese steak egg rolls to start for our party. For our entrees it was the mile high man burger with fries for my husband and 9 boneless wings in the bourbon BBQ sauce for me. Our friend ordered the wings in the buffalo hot sauce but the sauce was lacking. I really wanted carrot sticks with the wings but we only got celery. The table favorite was the egg rolls, the rest of the food was just okay."
"I quite enjoyed my brief experience at Heavenly Buffaloes. I saw they had vegan wings so I stopped in. Ordering was quick and easy. I love ordered vegan wings to go, and a beer while I waited. They have many sauce options which is great. I got the hottest sauce they had and a BBQ. Both were great. The interior is clean. The employees are nice. The vegan wings are tasty. I'll return if I stay nearby again."
"Running out of local places for breakfast, we decided to check if this one served breakast, and we were glad we did. It's part of a gas station, convenience store setup, off Interstate 40.We both had breakfast plates, eggs, bacon, toast and sausage. Served hot, fresh and quick. The toast, seriously, was the best I've had at any local breakfast place. No table service, order at counter, find a seat. They call your name.At least you can sit and enjoy your meal. We'll be back, lunch or dinner if they offer. Drinks are self-serve at a bar in the convenience store part of this gas station. The offered freshly brewed iced tea, as well. Support local business!"
"You know you are in a rough part of town when you walk into a convenience store and there is a bulletproof glass-encased Western Union check cashing booth, a large array of malt liquor selections but only one kind of White Claw, and an employee and customer are having an open conversation about crystal meth and how it alters your appearance. But tucked away inside this dilapidated part of east Burlington is a true diamond in the rough: Old Fogies. OF is very cute, is run by a very cheerful and helpful staff, and serves up a fine lunch. I ordered a Reuben with potato salad and a sweet tea. The Reuben was beautiful, with a flat and crispy exterior and a warm and tasty interior. Either they have a sandwich maker appliance or the sandwich maker person is a sandwich grilling master. It was delicious. Note: they put dijon mustard on it instead of the traditional thousand island. The potato salad was very good. A bit mild (nothing Texas Pete couldn't fix), though, but it had a delightful texture. The potatoes (red skin) were perfect--not too hard and not too soft--and very tasty. The sweet tea was excellent--a perfect amount of both tea and sugar. Just a fine sweet tea. I asked for a sample of the chicken salad, and it was EXCELLENT. A chicken salad melt from OF would surely be award winning. Maybe next time...OF is a really neat place. And from my experience, it lives up to its name. I am 50 and was easily the youngest customer in the place. I think that the pace, atmosphere, items on their somewhat limited menu appeal to members of the Silent Generation, the Baby Boomers, and perhaps some of Generation X. I do NOT see this place having a huge appeal to hipsters or millennials, or, thankfully, to hipster millennials, the most obnoxiously pretentious humans ever described in the annals of anthropology. Worth noting: I actually found this place by typing "hot dogs" in the Yelp search. They don't have hot dogs. They have mostly sandwiches. And no fries. Fortunately I knew this ahead of time because I looked at the menu. This is one of those places that charmed me so much that I can't stop thinking about it. Definitely worth a visit...if you're old enough."
"This was a favorite dining spot of mine as a student at UNC-CH in the early 90s so we decided to visit and check out the menu 30+ years later. One of the great things is that the restaurant still looks the same as it did then, like a comfy grandmother's kitchen. and The menu hasn't changed much, either. I mean, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", right? The service was pretty quick and our waiter was a very nice young man. The food was still tasty with good size portions as well. If you are in the area and want a soul food meal, give them a try!"
"Haiku: Mama Crow's Burger & Salad ShopGot vegan burgerDisappointed soggy friesCool Transfer Food Hall. --- Located in the Transfer Food Hall, Mama Crow's features a menu of fresh, locally sourced salads, fresh, top-quality burgers, house-made cheeses, and hand-cut fries.I ordered the Superfree Burger, their vegan burger patty made of sweet potatoes, roasted mushrooms, walnuts and seeds; topped with avocado, tomato, mixed greens, onions, and a garlic-tahini dressing. Usually, I'm always excited to try a restaurant's vegan burger, but sad to say, their vegan burger was a bit underwhelming. I felt the patty was on the dry and crumbly side.I also ordered a Kid's Hot Dog meal for my child. The hot dog looked delish, but sadly, the hand-cut fries were soggy, greasy, and dark. I don't know what happened, but it wasn't appetizing. I should have asked the kitchen to make another batch for us.Mama Crow's had so much promise. I'd still come back to give it another try, but I'll order a burger next time."
"I was surprised to find this gem in North Carolina. Amazing salads. My sister in law didn't care much for the Sante Fe (She thought it was mild and bland, not at all spicy), but I loved the Mediterranean and the price of $6 was well worth it."
"Super authentic and delicious spot that opened up just 4 months ago. They have banana leaf tamales which are worth the drive! Their tacos are great and their salsas are unique. The nachos are huge as well! And the chips are super delicious and authentic. They have empanadas but I was less of a fan of those. Highly recommend and we will be back!"
"Work travels took me to Burlington today so in my sandwich shop search, I remembered seeing this location. It's very easy to order before seating and there is a pick up window that displays your ticket number when your food is ready. I ordered the portobello sandwich and changed the wheat to sourdough. The bread was nice and toasty and I only needed to add a little salt and pepper to the mushrooms. The same with the pasta salad. My only wish that the veggies were a little fuller on the sandwich."
"Absolutely love the variety of the menu! There's a lot of charm to the place... it's a small little spot downtown with outdoor seating. I do wish they had longer hours but I'll be a regular at this spot because the sandwiches are delicious!!!"
"Finally! Someone took over the former Glory Days and gives us a restaurant that provides a winning product and service that will survive. Ambience: not much was done during the remodel, but it's clean, plenty TV's, and outdoor seating is available. Service: very friendly, attentive (but still learning the menu) and even a manager that checked in us. Unheard of at Glory Days. Food: very much resembles the food Abbey Road that owns Dugout. Burger was great, same enormous mozzarella sticks, plus new items like pizza, and new sandwiches. Overall: menu can be sort of daunting because every item is named after a sports player and it can take awhile to find exactly what you're looking for. They are still working to get this a well oiled machine, but easily a great addition to the neighborhood and knocks Glory Days out of the water. Go and enjoy!"
"We had not been here in several years but wanted a quick bite after a social event nearby. We sat near the bar and ordered and paid using the QR code at the table. The food was delivered quickly and we enjoyed our masala chai, kofta curry and chicken curry utapan. Portions were relatively generous and we boxed up the rest of our meals to take home. My one minor complaint was that our garlic naan did not taste very garlicky to me. Otherwise, another fine meal served quickly from a friendly staff."
""Sushi & hibachi, and all-you-can-eat option, near Ninth Street in Durham"Right next to the Whole Foods on Broad Street in Durham, and super close to Duke University's east campus, is this new restaurant, just opened a few days ago. It sits in the spot where Vine Sushi used to be, so the theme is maintained. However, unlike Vine, this offers you sushi, various hibachi entrees, and all-you-can-eat options. We arrived on a Friday evening at just before 6pm, and the place was very empty. That said, they did JUST open maybe 5 days ago, so word hasn't gotten out yet. They do have an a la carte menu, but we all opted for the all-you-can-eat options. Their menu says that's $15 for lunch (11-3pm) and $24 for dinner. There is a small catch (often true at other AYCE places)-- if you can't finish your food, you have to pay for what's left on your plate, but it's not much-- maybe 50 cents per piece (and you can then take it home). I ordered only the crabmeat salad, a black pepper tuna roll, and a Mt. Fuji roll. My dining mates ordered a lot more, including the gyoza. Note: you can keep ordering, so my advice is not to order too much at once... you'll have many more opportunities to get more if still hungry.Service was VERY friendly and attentive. We felt really welcomed. We got our first food quickly. The crab salad was very tasty. I LOVED the black pepper tuna roll, and the Mt Fuji roll was fine (the tuna pieces were better than the salmon ones). Everything tasted fresh. All of us noted that the items labeled as spicy on the menu were not particularly so (unless you have a very sensitive palate). My dining mates really liked their gyoza a lot too as well as the hibachi steak & chicken (note, that was a rather small serving).I was smart not to order too much-- the rolls are LONG. I couldn't even quite finish my two rolls, but my son finished off the last few bites. My wife had to buy some of hers off as leftovers, but they were very generous and undercharged-- it was 8 pieces and they only charged $6.Was it the best sushi I ever had? It was good, but not the best. That said, you wouldn't expect "best" at an AYCE place. I think it was better than conveyer belt sushi like Rockin' Rolls (which is fine). And it's a lot closer to where we live than Mr. Tokyo in Chapel Hill.Overall, I'd come back. It felt "appropriately priced" for what we got, and the service was excellent. If I wanted fancy sushi, this may not be my choice, but good place to go if you're hungry and want a lot of sushi and hibachi. Again, don't over-order-- go slow, and enjoy the experience."
"The food was great. Everyone loved their burgers. The fries are really good. I definitely recommend getting a side of the burger sauce to dip your fries and burger in. The lady who works the counter is very friendly and cool. It's a cozy little mom and pop shop type of place. Definitely recommend. I couldn't find anything wrong with this place. They have bottled drinks and no fountain drinks but that wasn't an issue for us."
"Took my sister, nephew, and parents for lunch today...(my sister recently moved to the area) we had such an excellent experience! Jenna served us and she was friendly, efficient, and kind...we really loved the menu choices, and we were all very happy with our meals. My sister ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap which is pressed on the panini press and it was fantastic! She switched out ranch for blue cheese, and noted how fresh the ingredients were. The perfect amount of spice for the sauce and very tender chicken made this a great choice. Mom had the chunky monkey waffle and she really enjoyed it...very decadent and chocolatey, but nicely balanced and a tasty waffle. Dad ordered the Philly cheesesteak and he said it was very delicious. My nephew had the kids grilled cheese with sliced strawberries and chips...a large half which is perfect for any youngster. And I ordered the roast beef that was so tender, juicy, and delicious on freshly baked bread...loved the melted provolone and horseradish sauce and the side of au jus made it all the more tasty...my dad is new to grits, so for an appetizer we ordered the shrimp n grits special (this is a lunch or dinner plate, but being we all shared it to try we had that come out first!) the shrimp were deveined and detailed and were perfectly cooked and had nice flavor...the grits were creamy and topped with bacon, gravy, and fresh Tomatoes that made this dish over the top! We all had specialty drinks too...a frozen hot chocolate that was so creamy and chocolatey, 2 moon pie lattes (iced), a mango smoothie that was refreshing, and a nice raspberry iced tea. Lastly, the decor and ambience of this little gem is wonderful...very inviting, very comfortable, and very charming. This is an absolute win if you're looking for a great meal or coffee along with wonderful service!"
"Exceptional restaurant. The service was kind, genuine, warm and endearing from start to finish. It was real and comforting. Next, the pork ribs, Cobb salad and OMG Fried Yucca was exceptionally good.A little FYI worth noting, you can get breakfast all day. Finally, the diverse selection of Dominican food with traditional American cuisine caters to all walks of life. This little gem is absolutely worth trying....again and again!"
"We are kicking ourselves for taking so long to try this adorable restaurant! It's like walking into your favorite hole-in-the-wall Southern beach calabash place.Everything we had was off-the-hook good! Fried Shrimp and Flounder with fries and clam chowder for Husband. Clam chowder is included as a side option and they even brought it to him before our entrees. That's Southern hospitality! They also brought terrific hush puppy rings right away.I prefer my seafood broiled or grilled and they even put some good seasoning on them. For my sides I had a baked potato and cooked cabbage. All terrific and I loved all three sauces that were in squeeze bottles on the table.Service was also great! Those Gals couldn't have been more charming or helpful. And you can't beat the prices for this kind of quality! Note: it's a small restaurant. We went at an off time on a Sunday so it wasn't crowded, but it was sure picking up by the time we left."
"Staying at nearby hotel, ask the front desk for recommendations of local places to have good drinks and a good meal. My front desk associate asked me if I liked Mexican to which I replied yes! She told me to drive 4 miles up the road to this place and it was completely worth it. I didn't know what to expect, seeing all the people going in mostly in golf outfits. I was dining alone, would have sat at the bar but it was packed so they seated me at the only table available which was a very large table for 10 people. OK by me I'm starving after a long road trip. Started with queso and chips which didn't surprise me when the chips arrived in the same kind of bucket that you get golf balls at a driving range judging by the majority of people who were there. Queso was great. Ordered a peach margarita and I swear it's the best margarita I have ever had anywhere...and I have dined at Mexican places all over the country. For dinner I had some kind of shrimp and chicken with pineapple that came with sweet plantains. I wasn't that hungry and didn't think I'd finish it but it was so delicious I ate it all with the exception of a couple pieces of banana. My waiter could not have been nicer. The atmosphere was fiesta festive and fun. I don't know if I will ever be back to this area again but if I am, definitely coming back to dinner here, hopefully next time with family or friends. Take a chance on this spot. you may have to wait for a while but I promise you it's worth it. They also have an outdoor area to dine, but it was hot so I wanted the air conditioning and the music"
"Haven't order Marco's in a few years, tried it again today and it was so good! Just ordered a medium pepperoni and it was perfect! The pepperoni taste great, the sauce was just enough and the crust is slightly sweet and perfect. Medium was 8 pieces and it was just right. Side note - the parking lot is terrible, as any WF person knows. Not enough parking, too tight spaces and a really poorly executed in/out but that's not Marco's fault. Definitely ordering again!"
"Cleveland Draft House has opened their third location in Fuquay-Varina. We stopped in to grab lunch and watch the Panthers game. The beer selection was really good, there was a good mix of options to choose from. I ended up going with a Blue Moon for a lighter option. I started off with a cup of loaded potato soup followed by the club melt with mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband ordered the reuben with sweet potato fries. In addition to having a lot of TVs in the bar area, there are also dart boards and pool tables. The food was just okay but it was a great spot to watch a game."
"Stopped in here today for lunch with a couple of coworkers they have a really good menu reasonable prices and several lunch specials the food was made all fresh it was served quickly and the staffer very friendly and helpful the facilities are extremely clean and they had special touches on all the food that they delivered to the table you definitely want to give this one a try"
"Excellent meal. The thai chicken pizza was full of taste, and amazingly delicious. Caramelized. Onions, roasted peppers, pistachios, and chicken combined great flavors. The pear salad was full of goodness. Cranberries, nuts, and goat cheese combined to create a unique taste."
"Great food here! I enjoyed my pulled pork entree. All was delicious and they were great with accommodating a large group."
