"The menu was very large for a bar pub. I walked in and was immediately drawn to the lack of sports on one TV. They had Fox "News" on. I really wanted to walk out but figured I would sit where ai couldn't see it. I had checked out the menu and was looking forward to supporting a local restaurant for lunch as I often try to. I can not for the life of me know why people watch propaganda and for a restaurant to be contributing to lack of truth is beyond me. I'd like to go to a restaurant and not have bad politics hitting me in the face. With that said, my hamburger was not good. It was so wet the bun was all soggy. The sweet potato fries were awesome. My husband had Chili with grilled cheese. He wasn't fond of either. There was too much corn in the Chili and Grilled Cheese was just average.I told management about my uncomfortablenesses with the TV. I did expect it to be changed. When we left, it was still on. This shows me that they are not responsive to customers and the reason for 2 stars. I would have given them 3 or 4 if not for the TV. I also would have sent back my burger or at least told them about it. I didn't bother figuring they didn't care anyway."
"Awesome beer and awesome service. We didn't eat but plan on coming back tonight. Great beer selection and great art. All around, two thumbs up!! Will come back!!"

Visit Restaurant Page"After attending a local event at the Cary Theater my friend suggested we grab a late bite at Crosstown. They have a nice spacious patio area for dining so we decided to try eating outdoors. Service was prompt upon arrival. Our waiter suggested the birria tacos. He shared that the pub prides itself on " authentic flavorful tacos". My friend had grilled wings, pimento cheese balls and a salad. I had the fried green tomatoes, birria tacos by recommendation and a whiskey sour. Service was very slow outside. Our waiter had our food served to us but never came back to check on us until it was time to check out. I understand it's late night and staffing is limited. The food was very good with the exception of the fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were under ripe and too hard to serve for this recipe. The pimento cheese balls were excellent. Two of my favorite North Carolina southern classics. The convenience of late night hours until 2am, and location is unmatched for this area and the food was good. I would definitely return."
"This spot is so cool. It was one of the first 'drive-thru' banks in Raleigh and now it's Vault Craft Beer! There is a good mix of beer on tap, depending on the beer you can get a 10oz, 12oz or 16oz pour. There is seating available both inside and out. On one side it's bench seating for larger parties and on the other side there are tables for smaller groups. Before you leave, you can check out the cooler section for beer to take home. It is worth checking out if you are in the area."
"I'm a regular at Salem Street Pub but would dine here more often if I lived closer. I normally stop when I am in the area but have made the drive to Salem Street Pub just for my favorite burger. It is that good.I've tried recreating it at home but it isn't the same. I've also ordered similar burgers elsewhere but they haven't come close. I haven't tried anything else on the menu as the "My Wife Said It Would Never Sell" is all I order. Sometimes I get a salad instead of fries. But I always get the delicious burger with the peanut butter; bacon; cheddar cheese and honey. It does seem like a strange combination but I love it and others must too or it wouldn't be on the menu still.Service is generally great here too and they bring me extra napkins as the burger is a little messy. On my last visit, I was seated in the new expanded part. I do prefer the original side though."
"We almost didn't stop by because their YELP listing said they were about to close. I am so glad that we did a u-turn and decided to stop. It was a Wed at around 1:30.We took advantage of the Wed lunch special. We each had a small size signature pizza and a salad. It also includes a drink but we each had a beer so that didn't count.Waitstaff was super friendly and helpful. Couldn't of ask for anything more. The food was top notch. We will be stopping by again soon. Give them a try. You will be glad you did !!"
"Super comfortable chill atmosphere. Love the location Awesome band tonight. Great sound. Nice stage. Hope for more music soon."
"Overall I think that Hibernian is a good place to come have a pint and some food. It is designed like a traditional Irish Pub with dark woods paneling, floors and furniture, and even a fireplace as you enter.I ordered a Reuben, which is the standard in my opinion which all restaurants that serve a Reuben are judged for the other food. The sandwich itself was very good and came with steak fries. The service was pretty good as well.I guess the couple of things that took away the fifth star for me was the music which was just not good pub music and there was too much cheap advertising hanging on the walls. If you go to the trouble of making the place look like a real pub then don't clutter it up with cheesy ads."
"What a wonderful discovery. My beef tenderloin sandwich was tender, cooked to perfection, and tasty. The onion rings which accompanied this dish were fried to golden perfection. The service was attentive. This appears to be a local place and is bar food at its best."
"A Quick flashback to 1988 with Kevin Costner, Susan Sarandon, and Tim Robbins. Opening bar scene in the flick, Bull Durham, with the aforementioned put Mitch's on the map. It has been a favorite watering hole for NC State students, employess, Alumni for decades prior and since. It is located in the middle of all the college fun on Hillsborough st. It is adorned with an iconic front with an even more iconic and lethal 2 story narrow wooden staircase. After scaling this staircase you are in MT.A fellow Alum joined me for a State Wrestling watch party on a Friday night. The Manager greeted us and escorted us to our party. The tavern is modest in size housing tables and booths with several tv's strategically placed throughout. It has a separate room with a billiard table, and a one holer serving as a Mens room. Our server was equal amounts friendly, patient, and efficient. The menu is also modest with typical bar fare. Our party had 3 nacho platters for 14 and they were appetizing. The owner joined our party and former Coach Guzzo regaled us all for 2 hours.MT is definitely worth the experience. Great location with a storied history, and good food/service. We will return. #crashdavisPS-Next time I will take pictures of the frontage and stores."
"I will say, they have one of the best burgers in Apex. Perfect thickness, flavor, and bun. In an age of food fears, they will even allow you to chose how well-done you want your burger. If rare is your thing....come here. The fries are these unusual Cresent cuts which have a thick end and a crispy end. I really liked them. Why the loss of a star? The Cobb salad. The fried tenders were amazing but the rest of the salad was extremely lack-luster. It's like these burger boys hate salad. Cobb should have tomato, egg, avocado, bacon, blue cheese. Mine had 1/2 an egg, a top of bacon, a small amount of tomato, and 1/2 cup of blue cheese crumbles. I will probably try another salad and hope this one was just made by a carnivore with a hate towards veggies."
"We wanted to grab something to eat after staying in Mebane overnight, and as usual, my wife did her research. She chose the Eddy because it looked like just the kind of place we love. Excellent food in a quaint small town and within a renovated commercial building in an area we had not yet explored. We arrived in the small community of Saxapahaw which sits on the edge of the Haw river. We pulled up on the building that houses the Eddy Pub and immediately thought it was very cool. Without knowing the history of the building at the time, it appeared to be an old mill of some sort. As I said, my wife had done her research and learned it was highly recommended to make a reservation on the weekend especially. She was able to easily make a reservation early that same morning for 10am when they opened. We walked in a few minutes early and appeared to be the first customers of the day. We provided our name for the reservation and were immediately seated within this beautiful and cool space. We were told their menu was offered via QR code but were also asked if we would like a printed menu as well, which we appreciated. We were sat at a table for two against a wall of windows adjacent to an outdoor patio area. We began looking over the menu when our drink orders were taken by two young ladies, one of which was training the other. I tend to order lunch items while my wife enjoys breakfast and the brunch menu offered several great options for each of us. My wife chose the ---- omelette with fresh fruit as well as the biscuit with jelly while I chose the ----- hamburger with fries. We also ordered the pimento cheese fries which were highly recommended via the Yelp reviews. The pimento cheese fries arrived shortly after and looked delicious! We also liked the fact they were served in a small cast iron pan. Perfectly prepared, they were crisp and flavorful. We also noticed a small bottle on our table without a label and inquired with our servers. They told us it was a chipotle hot sauce. It looked great so we decided to give it a try. We really enjoyed it and did not find it too hot. We also learned this is one of the products available for purchase. Needless to say, a bottle came home with us. Our meals arrived a short time later and also looked fantastic. My wife enjoyed her omelette packed with lots of ingredients and the fresh fruit was great also. She also really enjoyed the biscuit with homemade jelly, she said it was perfect! My burger and fries was also very good. Our servers, were also extremely attentive and friendly. Honestly, everything about our experience was perfect! We will absolutely return and also feel this would be a great stop when we have family or friends visiting."

We went on a Tuesday for trivia and it was decently busy. Service was very slow but we were enjoying our beer and playing trivia so it didn't bother me too much - but would've been different on a regular night. Portions were good and prices are fair. Lots of options on the menu and great beer on tap. Would try again but not dying to go back!

I've never had a bad meal at Crosstown, and they usually have pretty good drink specials during the week. The food is always fresh and the prices are reasonable. My only issue with the place is the bar is tiny and most times when I go there the seats are all taken. They also have a decent size outdoor patio area. Trying to find parking here is a nightmare, and it's just getting worse as downtown Cary expands but doesn't build a parking garage.

While I'm not a huge beer nerd, I do like what Vault is bringing to the area! A modern, great looking beer bar and bottle shop with plenty of patio space and outdoor seating. Located conveniently a block south of Sam Jones and two blocks west of Red Hat Amphitheater, Vault is a bit of a neighborhood gem in this quiet area. Lots of natural woods, whites, and oranges makes for a clean and well-designed look. The building was converted from a bank (surprise)! The beer list is well curated and prices are excellent ($7 to $8 per pint). Definitely worth a visit with friends and there's often a food truck in the parking lot!

Great meal and delicious beer.We had the Slow cooked brisket and the Porchetta sandwich, both with onion rings sides. Two of the best sandwiches we've had, juicy and delicious. My Porchetta literally melted in my mouth. The focaccia was soft and the perfect bread for this meat.Nice staff.Salem St has such great local places to eat and drink.

Small local authentic restaurant. The food was good, everyone was pleased from the salad to the pizza and the fish. The service was friendly and attentive. Would go back just for the pizza! Lots of options including gluten free, and vegan! Lots of salads, subs and full bar as well.

Even though it's located around other commercial places people easily miss this place. It's mainly locals but they're all friendly. It's big and clean but the attitude is dive. In that don't expect anything too fancy, don't judge if some people are there just to get drunk and if you treat everyone nicely and don't be pretentious they'll be nice to you back and should you have a good time. The reason this place doesn't have a ton of Yelp reviews it isn't not the place is not setup to appeal to the typical Yelp reviewer. It's just basically a bar where people go to drink, have fun and not trying to be anything more than that. If you're looking for something more about your bar or nightlife experience that's cool but then this place isn't for you.

Our first night in the city and while we were walking, we popped into this lovely Irish pub to check out their balcony on the second floor. While there we happen to run into Keith one of the managers and had a delightful conversation with him! Because of that interaction it let us come back a few days later to actually enjoy a couple of beverages on the beautiful balcony. This location is very large with seating upstairs and downstairs, including bar, seating and balcony seating as well as plenty of tables for larger groups. Our drink of choice is always harp as we have a hard time finding it in our local stores so always enjoy having it fresh from the tap. We also experience the chicken wings With the Cajun rub. They were delicious.!
Visit Restaurant Page"I came to the wooden nickel to see for myself what all the talk is about. Friday night with a party of 4 and the place was hopping. While we were waiting for drinks, our wives quickly found us some seats outside. The wait staff was crazy busy but seemed to go with it with nothing but a smile and some humor. The menu is very diverse with something for everyone. I got the fish tacos, which were as could as you could ask for. My wife got a burger, as did the other two in the party, and all said the party was cooked to their liking with no issues at all. All in all, this is a "can't miss" place when in Hillsborough. We'll definitely be back in the future."
"It's bar food. We checked this place out for lunch and had an okay experience. I started off with a Foothills Hoppyum, the draft list was good. Next it was the BLT with a slice of cheese and a side salad for me and the house salad with chicken for my husband. The service was good but the food was just okay. They have a pool table, a few dart boards and lots of TVs so it could be a fun time to play a game at or to watch a game."
"We have been to this pub in the Harris Teeter North Ridge Shopping Center a couple times recently and really enjoyed it. The menu has a nice variety. I love the healthy option of the catch of the day, and they always have salmon. Love that the mashed taters aren't overly loaded with butter, and still have skins, and that the veggies are steamed. Sauce is served on the side. Blackened is an option which I think is terrific!Meanwhile Husband enjoyed his shrimp wrap with fries, and in the past really like the country fried steak, mac n cheese and mashed taters. They have a full bar and friendly service. Place is not big, but there are tables, a bar and outside seating as well. Prices reasonable."
"This place is kind of a dive, but does have consistently good food. It seems that all their food is home made, I've never had anything that looked to be previously frozen. The prices are really good too."
"Great place to see the soccer games from England, especially if your a Liverpool fan, the main area was great, packed and great decor dedicated to the Reds, great bar with lots of variety. If you can get in that area, your good, the added area, not so great, sub par bar, seating, decent TV's though. It was busy because there was a good match on, so it was fine. Not impressed that you couldn't really get any British food other than fish and chips. The chips were also not really like English chips. Their online menu is not what's offered just so you know. Service at the bar was good, and like I said great atmosphere for the game. The place itself didn't live upto my expectations of a British pub. Hopefully they get their food sorted out too! Great location though in downtown Raleigh."
"It has been a minute since I have visited The Federal. On this most recent visit we dined in before a show. It was a beer and the fish & chips for me and the fish tacos with sweet potato fries for my husband. It is small both inside and out but it is a good dining option in Durham."
"Food was delicious. Staff was warm and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Maybe not the best name but don't let that deter you."
"These folks were able to accommodate a whole bunch of us on a Sunday afternoon in late May. They set up a room for us and we had terrific food, drinks and Service. Having never been to this Clayton restaurant before, we were all impressed and appreciative that they were able to make room for us at fairly the last minute. The menu has a nice variety. Definitely recommend sharing the Collard Jalapeno Dip and the Buffalo Cauliflower. Burgers were liked by all who had them. I was very happy with my Crab Cake Po-Boy (minus the bun) with a side salad. Look forward to going back next time we're in the area."
"106 Main is a divey spot. We stopped in to grab a drink (I went with a beer) and watch a hockey game and had a good time. Based on the reviews I'll have to try one of their cocktails next time."
"Rail House is a brewery clearly devoted to the military community from the moment you walk in, although it may not look it from the outside or in my pictures. The meatball sub was a first time Go at this station. The list of beer crafted here also has a military theme. I didn't taste it yet but I got a growler full of Knights Golden. Will update with an AAR when mission complete."
"I met a friend for lunch the other day and we had a delicious meal. I had the Reuben with fries. It came out piping hot, the bread was toasted to perfection, the ratio of corned beef to sauerkraut was spot on and the amount of Russian dressing on the side was perfect. The taste was great. Aldo the fries were cooked to perfection. Lastly my Bloody Mary was the right amount of spicy and the olives were huge. Great meal, great service, great eclectic atmosphere."
"This brewery opened in March but due to the pandemic had to do a 'brew-thru' for a little bit until the taproom could finally open back up. We decided to make the trip to downtown Lillington to check it out. Belleau Wood is veteran owned. We started off with a flight which comes with 5 choices for $15. We chose the underrated (an amber), mica (an IPA), hop solo (a pale ale), cacackalacky (a lager) and no name (a tropical stout). I'm not a huge fan of ambers or lagers but they were both really good. I love IPAs so I had to go with the mica for a pint next. If you are hungry there are snacks available or restaurants that will deliver. It sounded like they are brewing up some really tasty beers so I can't wait to check them out again."
"Trali is my neighborhood Irish pub and I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere. The little room right inside the front door is so cozy and authentic with a real Irish pub feel. I always request to be seated in that room. Drinks here are great as they always have Irish beers on tap and they have a full bar and are willing to make any cocktails I've requested. They even bring a glass of ice when you order a cider, just like in Ireland! Their menu is always changing but I've never ordered anything I didn't like there."
"A cool pub in an unexpected place. This long and narrow bar certainly comes with a lot of charm, and an impressive amount of indoor seating. I would say it definitely fits into the neighborhood and appears to be a popular local hangout. Even on a chilly day, the outdoor seating is very comfortable, feel free to take advantage of the propane heaters. The drinks are excellent, and the customer service is good, it's definitely a great place to stop for drinks.Cheers!"
"We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here in a private dining room at the top of the stairs. First dinner out with our own dining room in 25 years. Our waiter took good care of us without being too attentive. Steaks were perfectly cooked. We both had filets Oscar. Downstairs was much homier, including crafts for sale. We will be back for a casual meal and enjoy more of the variety offered on the affordable menu. Pizza anyone?"
"Great drinks, great staff and great patrons! I love the drink selections and the atmosphere is very welcoming."
"Don't be fooled by the Carolina Hurricanes apparel everywhere, this place is a good sports bar!Unlike the hurricanes this place performs when it counts and always has people show up for events. Perfect before or after a game at Sahlen's Stadium."
"Pour Taproom is a chain of bars which has a great concept - you pour your own beer and drink as much or as little as you want. You don't have to commit to a whole glass. This is a great way to sample multiple beers without drinking too much.My wife and I are familiar with this chain from its multiple locations in Atlanta (Pour is headquartered in Atlanta) and the self-serve beer concept in general from similar businesses like Pinhouse in Charlotte. They all use individually-assigned electronic wristbands to keep track of consumption. We're fans. At the time of writing this review, there are two Pour locations in North Carolina: Durham and Wilmington. This location opened in June 2017 on the ground level of Unscripted, a hotel that faces Durham's Main Square in the heart of downtown. This is a great location because there are many excellent restaurants, bars, and other places to go to within short walking distance. For example, I recommend The Parlour across the square for outstanding ice cream.I don't think this place has dedicated or validated parking. However, there's plenty of street, surface lot, and deck parking nearby. Metered parking is enforced Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm. At the time of writing this review, parking rates are $2.50/hour for street and $2.25/hour for lot/deck. We parked for free in Lot 32 at 111 W Chapel Hill St (free because it was a Saturday). We had a good time during our Saturday night visit. We were expecting this place to be busier than it was, especially since it was nice out. Pour has a sizable and enjoyable outdoor patio at this location. They did a really nice job with that. Lawn games included cornhole and big Connect Four. The inside was pleasant as well. The staff was really friendly, they had sports playing on the big screens, and the vibe was comfortable. I liked it because it wasn't crowded or loud. So, if you prefer more of a relaxed and relatively-quiet bar atmosphere, this is the place to be.There were many dozens of beers on tap plus a very limited selection of wine and cocktails. A lot of the beer was local/regional, which is what I think mainly sets the different Pour locations apart (menu). Drinks are individually priced. I enjoyed the Haw River Farmhouse Ales For Restful Death foeder-aged lager ($0.85/oz) and Fullsteam Brewery's Paycheck pilsner ($0.55/oz), both local. My wife's favorite beer was the Lindemans Framboise Raspberry Lambic Beer. She didn't like the cocktails (cosmopolitan, margarita) nor the wines that she got. Our friend tried the old fashioned and described it as "interesting" and about what you'd expect from old fashioned on tap.The self-rinsing mechanisms don't seem very sanitary, but more power to you if you use them.Pour in Durham partnered with local restaurant Lula and Sadie's for food. A group near us ordered a Tasting Board ($7.00) and it looked good. This place gets four stars out of me mainly because of the flexible ordering format, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff."
"It's been quite a while since I've been here after we didn't have a good experience last time. Tonight on a whim we decided to give it another try as it had been several years. I'm happy to say this time overall it was great! There was one person who did everything except cook the food. He tended bar, took food orders from those sitting at tables, and brought the food out, as well a checking on everyone periodically. He did this all seamlessly and with a cheerful attitude. He was amazing! My spouse got a salad and the housemade chips. She really liked the the salad dressing and loved the chips. They were light, crispy, and not greasy. I had the Reuben and it was excellent! The corned beef was so good and slices were not thin, which made me happy. I found out they make it in house and it showed. I could even taste a hint of juniper in it. Definitely want to have it again and look forward to the corned beef and cabbage on St Paddy's Day!This is definitely a Cheers kind of place where everyone knows everyone and very small like the original in Boston is with only about ten tables. They have outdoor seating that has a heavy duty clear cover during cold weather to enclose it from the elements. That's where smoking is allowed and because it's right by the entrance every time the door is opened it comes in. That would be my only complaint and as someone with a lung disease it becomes taxing after a while breathing it in. That was something I forgot about, so we might have to wait till warmer weather when the outside covering is gone since it traps the smoke that gets sucked inside. If they could somehow resolve this issue I'd happily give them five stars!"
"Solid local hangout. One of those places you expect everyone to yell 'Norm'! Pretty standard beer list, domestic mass produced beers available so it caters to patrons that are not into the craft scene but they do have some craft beers too. Food is available, looks decent."
"A true dive bar in all the good ways and some of the best wings I've tried around the Raleigh area! I stopped by for dinner a couple weeks ago based on a "best wings" recommendation and wasn't disappointed. The beer selection was solid and I went with the Buffalo wings. Excellent wings! It's a fun dive bar (clean and safe) vibe. There was a dart tournament going on when I was there and the juke box was rocking a nice variety of tunes."
"Enjoyed our Saturday lunch at the Wooden Nickel! I had the Dragon Dance Power Bowl Salad with grilled chicken added, and my boyfriend enjoyed the grilled chicken panini. Both were yummy!"
