"Looking at the photos on FB of this place, I just had to try it. We got a fish nugget kids meal w/ fries, a sausage, Whiting sandwich w/ fries, & medium shrimp w/ fries. The service was ok...not overly friendly or rude. The food was fresh. It just didn't have seasoning on the fish or shrimp. They do sprinkle a seasoning on the fries that kind of tasted like taco seasoning. I didn't care for it much. The cocktail sauce was not good either. It didn't taste like any I've ever had before. We also got 2 cake slices from them which were $4.99 ea. We haven't tasted those yet, but I was told they come from Favors, so I know that cake is usually ok. I will update this review if it's not. The building could use some updating. The lot has 5 spaces in the front, but there is somewhere to park if they are ever super busy. I can't say that I will be back. The food just wasn't that good, honestly. I live too far away to be getting food that tastes like this."
"Last night, my wife asked if I would finally be able to make time to mount, wire and hang our living room TV since it's been lying on the floor of our new home since moving in on Sunday. Knowing that organizing multiple wires, drilling, measuring and hooking up this TV would take me some time, we settled on ordering pizza delivery with a new, local pizza place to us. After my Mrs. asked around at work, many mentioned that Randy's has some of the best in the area. So, Randy's is what we ordered. FOOD: 12" Supreme Specialty Pizza and 14" Cheese Pizza ($38.28 after tax). Both pizzas were very good but I gravitated toward the supreme over the cheese. The veggies, pepperoni and ground up sausage were great. The sauce isn't too tangy and is actually very pleasant. The dough is very good dough but was very limp and had very little structure to it, once held in hand. A couple of the slices had some slight char to them but I was hoping for a firmer crust with a little bit of crunch to it. Honestly, I believe if these pies were left in the oven for just another 2 and half minutes, they could have been fantastic. Each bite, the dough was soft and chewy in consistency so I'm wondering if I could ask Randy's to leave it in a little longer next time? It might make a big difference for my next review. SCORE: 3.9 STARS!!SERVICE: Ordered Grubhub directly through Yelp and the delivery driver was pleasant, although this is not a direct reflection of Randy's' immediate staff. No way to gauge service for this visit, aside from the order was hot and delivered on time. SCORE: N/AOVERALL SCORE: Pretty good local pizza. Looking forward to trying them again when I ask for my crust to be well-done. 3.9 STARS!!"

Visit Restaurant Page"One word: Delicious! I ordered a steam pot with crab legs and shrimp. I mixed the granchio butter with lemon pepper perfection. Everything was cooked perfectly! The shrimp and crab came right out of the shell, the butter seasoning was excellent. You scoop up some of that seasoning with your meats and it's amazing. The potatoes and corn are a perfect match with the boil. The best part, everything was so reasonably priced! So many seafood boil places are so pricy and this place is pretty reasonable. It's a intimate little spot but definitely worth the visit! A gem for sure!"
"Met a couple friends here on a Thursday night. Place was not very busy at about 6PM. Staff helped us rearrange some tables and then patiently took our orders. There are plenty of drink options including some great local-ish craft beers, on tap and in cans/bottles. Cocktails are also available. The food that others ordered looked good. A chicken wrap got a positive review from my niece. My wings made me sick. This place bills itself as having the best wings in the triangle. I have to disagree, after spending an evening on the toilet. It could have been one or two that were underdone, but if you decide to try them, look closely as you eat them. And honestly, they weren't the best wings I've ever had. With so many options in the area, I don't think I'd ever return."
"Tried this place out for the 1st time and it was great! Pizza was cooked quickly, was tasty, and was made with quality ingredients. Definitely better than the chain places! Will order again!"
"Saw this spot after leaving Big Lots and thought I would give it a try. This place is super big and clean. The tables are social distanced, and all staff members are wearing mask (properly) with gloves. I ordered the shrimp po boy sandwich with cajun fries. The wait for my food wasn't long at all and it came out piping hot. My waiter was really attentive and kept my drink full. The food was really good - fries were crispy but not hard, the shrimp was seasoned perfectly and the lettuce was crisp. This was my first time here, but definitely not my last!"
"We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine:Parking: 5Location: 5Decor/ambiance: 5Customer Service: 5Let's admit it, there's something about a Cheesesteak that will make you forget any dietary restrictions, any weight loss goals ... shoot nothing else matters when a Cheesesteak hits the table. Well that's exactly what happened when we visited Mr. Cheesesteaks in Durham on yesterday. Mr. Cheesesteak is a food truck that now has a brick and mortar as of June 2020! If you're looking for a delicious lunch on today or if you want to take something home to munch on for dinner later tonight, we recommend Mr. Cheesesteak. Their prices are amazing as their cheesesteaks are under $10 and they are GINORMOUS! The sandwiches are packed with meat and cheese and the bread is so fresh. Pictured here is the beef cheesesteak and the chicken Philly cheesesteak. Both sandwiches are jam packed with fresh clean meats, yummy cheese and veggies! And let's not forget their lemon pepper wings! To wash all that down we grabbed one of their sour slushy's which gave us a brain freeze that was well worth it! Ask for Yoshi or Dale when you visit and tell them Roger K sent ya!"
"Vic's Pizzeria in downtown Raleigh, located on the bustling Glenwood Avenue, impresses with its fresh, contemporary setting marked by high ceilings and vibrant artwork. As you step into this inviting space, the gleam of copper piping adds a unique touch to the well-organized kitchen area. Parking is conveniently available across the street. The ordering process is straightforward at the counter, where the staff showcases their impressive pizza lineup. I opted for the two-slice special with bacon and pepperoni. The bacon was exceptional--so generously piled on that it tumbled off the slices, while the pepperoni was equally satisfying, both rich in flavor and perfectly cooked.Vic's doesn't stop at pizza; their menu also includes appetizers, salads, subs, and New York-style pizzas that you can customize. For those looking for something different, they offer baked wings, calzones, strombolis, and even catering options. Their grab-and-go selections are perfect for a quick meal at home, or you can choose to enjoy your meal in the comfortable, aesthetically pleasing dining area.To top off a delightful visit, Vic's also presents a variety of desserts. This new spot on Glenwood Avenue is more than just a pizzeria--it's a testament to well-executed classic and innovative fare in a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite, looking for a meal to take home, or planning to dine in, Vic's Pizzeria is a must-visit for both locals and visitors in Raleigh."
"Heavenly Buffaloes has multiple locations in Durham and we landed at this one because it was the closest. That said, this location is take out only. And while I definitely wanted some wings, I did not want to eat them in my car.The young lady at the counter was very polite and directed me to their other location. As for this one, I'll be back when I'm looking for takeout in this area.[Review 15527 overall, 1031 of 2021, number 3066 in North Carolina.]"
"Decent fish and chicken place.Had the combination fried whiting and clam strips dinner, with sides (there are a number to choose from) of potato salad and fried okra. Good food and the portion size was nearly enough for two people."
"Flippin' Wings is located in Clayton off of US 70. They're more of a take out place but they do have tables inside! I'd definitely recommend ordering ahead as it takes about 25-30 minutes to get your food. We've been a few times and I'm a big fan. They have a standard sauce menu but also have rotating limited edition sauces. During my most recent visit, I got the following sauce flavors: Fire, Blueberry Habanero, Hot Curry, and Garlic Parm. Honestly, I loved all 4! Fire wasn't as spicy as I thought it'd be but had good flavor! Blueberry habanero wasn't too sweet and had a nice kick to it. Hot curry is a dry rub and while I'm not a huge fan of dry rub, I'd definitely get this one again! Garlic Parm? I mean it's got garlic and cheese so... how could it not be tasty?p.s. They put the celery and carrots under the wings in your to go box!"

Y'all! This fish was so good. I have been in NC for 5 years and I never go to fish places because it's just not cooked the same like where I am from. But my brother is here to visit and he wanted fried fish so I searched and searched and none of the pics were jumping out at me and then I remembered I had passed J & J on the way to Durham one day and I said that I would try it. The parking lot isn't that big but I was able to find a parking space fairly easily there is also a drive through if you don't want to go in. But I saw where the cars were sitting in line and it's because they make the food fresh. So keep that in mind if you want to go through the drive through. When I walked in the place was cool. It's not a fancy place but I wasn't worried about that I just wanted good fish. It took the cashier a minute to come up to the register but when he did I ordered the catfish plate and it came with 2 sides + hushpuppies. We ordered Mac and cheese, collards and fries. I paid about $22 which included fountain drinks. The restaurant + bathroom were decent. There was a server that brought the food and made sure that the tables were cleaned off. They don't refill drinks so everything is kind of self served and all the condiments are on the table. Overall if you are looking for good fried fish, this is your place.

Been getting delivery from Randy's for quite some time-always delicious. Today I picked up a large catering order for some deserving teachers and the order was perfect. Double cut just like I asked, perfect toppings, everything packed just right. I really appreciate how much care was taken with my order, and as always, it looked delicious. The cashier was so sweet and pleasant and the place was clean. We will definitely keep going back. Thank you, Randy!

Why is this place not getting the big crowds it deserves --of course, I wanted to gate-keep this spot for ourselves too but they are amazing! The food was not only neatly plated, but it was all amazing! Hands down, the best seafood in RDU area where the house sauce is not salty or garlicky like other places + Alfredo sauce was not heavy but just right. Very small business, leaving the service to be top tier and very personable. Since seeing other previous reviews, they have changed to full service and take orders at the table. Will definitely be back as a regular customer!

You can never go wrong with Woody's. If you've ever been to the one in downtown Raleigh you already know this. Great food, great drinks, and a lively atmosphere. It's also the perfect spot to go to after a night out. They always have drink specials too.One thing I just learned about was the happy hour on weekdays from 4-6! This is amazing because their appetizer list is huge and there's all sorts of things you can get from quesadillas and nachos to egg rolls and sliders. Since it was happy hour we got the cheesesteak nachos, buffalo chicken rangoon, cheeseburger sliders, and steak quesadilla. All for half off and all hot and delicious with generous portions. The best thing at woodys to my friends and I is the philly cheesesteak nachos. If you don't get anything , GET THIS. You'll see why. Also, if you're vegan they have a beyond meat option and it's amazing in their patty melts.

Among the better pizzas I've had in Raleigh, and top of the list for a proper New York style pizza. I stuck with a simple cheese pizza and was very satisfied.Other foods were more hit and miss. The wings were small and watery. The salad had seen better days. But the pizza was spot on.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. I felt like eating crab legs and majority of the crab restaurants in Durham were closed down. This was one of the only ones that appeared to still be opened, so we decided to try it.The host and cashier were friendly and professional. We felt like valued customers. We ordered right away and our food was served quickly. We ordered 2 "make your own" seafood in the bag dishes without corn; I am allergic to corn. One bag was with a garlic butter sauce, and the other bag was with an old bay seasoning sauce. Both sauces really enhanced the flavor of the seafood and potatoes. We enjoyed our meals.

The Garlic Parm Fries! They are so good! I was seriously impressed by this little cheesesteak shop in a strip office park. I had a basic cheesesteak with extra cheese and no other toppings, the meat was moist and the cheese as gooey and plentiful. I also enjoyed a very sweet but delicious lemonade and the best part, the garlic parm! I love a crispy fry, so to me these were perfect, all fries were consistently crispy and Parmesany. Will definitely be back soon!
Visit Restaurant Page"TLDR: Phenomenal customer service plus great food at a reasonable price.Note: they are located on Timer drive not on the Wake Tech campus. Their past location still shows up on Google maps even though they have requested its removal. We have ordered food here a few times. I am always impressed by the flavors, portions, and prices. Plus it is easy to call in an order or place one online. I like the comment/notes section when ordering online. The employees here read all the notes and answer any questions you may have. Most recently we ordered a 12 inch cheesesteak ($7.69), chicken Caesar salad ($7.49), baklava ($2), and gyro pita ($6.49). Our food is always ready on time and accurate. The cashier (owner?) is awesome. He is so kind and helpful. He seems to form a personal connection with each customer, making for special and unique experiences. In addition to the excellent customer service, you get a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. We highly recommend ordering from here!"
"I quite enjoyed my brief experience at Heavenly Buffaloes. I saw they had vegan wings so I stopped in. Ordering was quick and easy. I love ordered vegan wings to go, and a beer while I waited. They have many sauce options which is great. I got the hottest sauce they had and a BBQ. Both were great. The interior is clean. The employees are nice. The vegan wings are tasty. I'll return if I stay nearby again."
"This is a hidden gem in Wilson, NC and if your not a local you're not going to know about it.Located beside a church with great "Home Cooked" scratch made food daily. There isn't any microwaved pre-packed chain stuff here, nothing but great soul food cooked from the heart.I enjoyed a Lunch of Fried Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese, with Okra cooked the way it's supposed to be and not fried. Could of ate a giant bowl of that, pure Skippy!Top it off? Yepper! Home made pulse slowing Banana Puddin! First I don't even like Banana Puddin'! Was talked into it and after one bite I inhaled that stuff faster than a Hoover does dirt! All I will say is you have to experience it, WOW! And that's The Whole Truth! You have to try this place! Will be back again and again. Oh it is easy on the wallet."
"We are still new to the Wake Forest and despite being a foodie I don't alwayssssss go into a place and know the exact menu and atmosphere, that's how it was when coming into OTF. My husband and I stopped in for lunch were dressed in athletic clothes which wasn't a big deal but I definitely noticed that the majority of people there were dressed in "real clothes" it is a very dark restaurant with white table clothes which gives it that "nicer" feel for sure. It's not a huge restaurant but I am not a fan of two top tables that are directly next to someone else to where you feel like you know all about the other person by the time you are done which is where we were sat. The Beef on Weck was delicious, I highly recommend. I can't wait to try additional menu items but for me personally inside it's more of a dinner atmosphere."
"Been wanting to come here for a minute and decided to today and glad I did. I started with the mimosa flight which came with 3 glasses of one juice each:orange, cranberry and lavender . They were the bomb, the lavender one was my favorite. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich and chose breakfast potatoes as my side. The sandwich was good but it can get messy especially if you put syrup on it, end up using my fork towards the end. Overall good brunch for a Saturday and definitely will be back soon."
"I got a grub hub gift card, and so my son has been dying for wings so we ordered from here. I have not been inside so so can only comment on the order received. My son loved them - I found the price a little high - but I also know grubhub tends to up the price in addition to tipping etc, so I won't complain to much on the pricing. I did like hie easy it was to order online though for all the flavors a description would have been nice. Would I order again, definitely I am hoping once Covid calms down we can find a good wing place my whole family enjoys. But I'm the interim I would define you order and do takeout from here."
"I have been visiting mami's for almost five years. It's been one of my go to weeknight meals since I moved to Raleigh. I typically order a half chicken with black beans and rice and salad. When I am feeling feisty, I get some plantains too. When I have had guests and I'm too lazy to cook, I will also get a full chicken meal with sides. The food is always consistently good. The chicken is moist, well seasoned, and delicious. The cilantro vinaigrette for the salad is so good and unique and all of the sides are always delicious.Service is wonderful, everyone is friendly and attentive. If you are a newbie to the restaurant, they will walk you through how to order and help you pick the best sides as well. The price is also surprisingly affordable for the serving sizes and the quality of the food. It's a great option for feeding a family on a budget when you don't have time to cook as well. They have a nice amount of seating if you want to dine in but they move pretty fast for take out order, I've never waited longer than ten minutes."
"My family and I are fans of Carajillo's. The place is huge and a great spot for a large group. If you are looking to head in when it's less busy, definitely head in for an early dinner. The menu is huge and what you would normally expect, but they also pride themselves on huge photo worthy drinks. I ordered a sangria and it was large and brimming with fruit. I enjoyed it!My son couldn't get enough of the black beans and I enjoyed the refried beans. I ordered a carne asada dish, which was tasty, I enjoyed the charred peppers with it.Service was friendly and accommodating to kids!"
"Big T's made the Triangle's best fish and chips list. Curious to test it out for myself, I ordered delivery for lunch today. I really enjoyed my catfish platter. I decided on hush puppies and fried okra. Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed the hush puppies. They were cooked perfectly and were huge. They provided the adequate amount of condiments. A fresh lemon, delicious tarter and cocktail sauce. I would definitely dine there again."
"I sat in the back cocktail lounge as I came alone. There was one guy back there working the tables as well as the bar. He was a little occupied with one table that I guess had a few particular menu requests, so he didn't get to me for a good five minutes. Not his fault. For the app, I went with V signature wings, which have a lot of lemon and garlic to them. I got 5 topped with caramelized onions. Nice size wings, pretty juicy, and super messy. I think I would have added a little fresh parsley on top; a little green could be a nice contrast to the dark brown of the wings and onions. And I did live in Chicago for 20 years, so I had to try their Italian beef, wet and hot giardineira. The bartender asked if I wanted cheese, and I said cheddar would be fine. It was actually a cheddar/gouda blend and I didn't know it would be another $2.50. But it was still good, they broiled the sandwich so the cheese got all caramelized and crispy. I knew the roll was not going to hold up, so I just ate the beef, cheese, and giard. Very flavorful, esp with the au jus.I would return to try more of the menu, especially since I still haven't had their pizza. Not a perfect experience, but they do have a very unique menu and they do execute it quite well. Good spot for a date too, if you can get one of those lol."
"Finally! Someone took over the former Glory Days and gives us a restaurant that provides a winning product and service that will survive. Ambience: not much was done during the remodel, but it's clean, plenty TV's, and outdoor seating is available. Service: very friendly, attentive (but still learning the menu) and even a manager that checked in us. Unheard of at Glory Days. Food: very much resembles the food Abbey Road that owns Dugout. Burger was great, same enormous mozzarella sticks, plus new items like pizza, and new sandwiches. Overall: menu can be sort of daunting because every item is named after a sports player and it can take awhile to find exactly what you're looking for. They are still working to get this a well oiled machine, but easily a great addition to the neighborhood and knocks Glory Days out of the water. Go and enjoy!"
"The best thing about this place for me: they keep it cool!!! Very clean. You almost need a sweater. Loved it. I had Lengua tacos. The were excellent. The red sauce is really good. It definitely had a kick to it, but I was able to taste the food. Kudos to whoever makes that sauce. The best one I have tried in the area. From order to eating, just a few minutes. Excellent service."
"Went with a group of 15 for lunch. They were expecting us and were able to take our orders, serve us, and let us pay in one hour. Amazing for such a large group. The chicken tenders were delicious. Great crunch and a tad spicy. Kimchi was quite good. This is not a fancy place, but it was clean and the food was hot and tasty. I need to try something else to determine if this should be 5 stars, not 4, and plan to be back soon."
"This is some authentic Korean food, and you owe it to yourself to check it out. Pretty much everything on the menu here seemed delicious, but what I ordered (the kimchi pancake, some fried chicken, and soju) hit the spot perfectly. The kimchi pancake was absolutely fantastic, I'm surprised at how much I loved such a straightforward dish. As others have noted on here, the fried chicken here is really solid - the style is closer to chicken wings than the fried chicken you might get at chain Korean fried chicken places, so it's a bit heavier on the sauce than you might initially expect. The service is super friendly, too. I was quickly seated, my order was quickly taken, and I got fresh food extremely quickly. No complaints here."
"I know Fayetteville don't know nothing about Chopped Cheese sandwiches, but check it out!!! It's the closest you'll get to anything like it. A lil NY in Fayetteville."
"Pollo Campero is an absolute gem in Raleighwood. It slightly reminds me of Pollo Tropical in FL because it's the only place I've ever known to be able to get maduros (sweet plantains) in the drive thru. Both the fried chicken and grilled chicken are juicy and cooked to perfection, but the grilled is my favorite because it has a limey taste. Their empanadas are also great because they aren't too heavy. They remind me of a light version of a cream cheese wonton, but with chicken, corn, and cheese and a lighter shell. I also love the campero rice and beans. The 20 piece value meal is also something you can't beat. After tax it comes to $50ish bucks but you get 20 pieces of chicken (I would recommend asking for half fried and half grilled), 4 sides, and bread. My one star dock is for service because I used the drive thru and although they were fast, they forgot to include the bread rolls im my family value meal."
"It's bar food. We checked this place out for lunch and had an okay experience. I started off with a Foothills Hoppyum, the draft list was good. Next it was the BLT with a slice of cheese and a side salad for me and the house salad with chicken for my husband. The service was good but the food was just okay. They have a pool table, a few dart boards and lots of TVs so it could be a fun time to play a game at or to watch a game."
"Excellent meal. The thai chicken pizza was full of taste, and amazingly delicious. Caramelized. Onions, roasted peppers, pistachios, and chicken combined great flavors. The pear salad was full of goodness. Cranberries, nuts, and goat cheese combined to create a unique taste."
"Great location great atmosphere excellent and friendly service. A gem in the area. The food is nothing special. Got fries tots and wings. Great little drinking joint."
"I have been craving some good wings so I decided to give this place a try. It's a dive bar which is right up my alley. I ordered the Cluckers dozen; 6 boneless and 6 regular wings. The sauces I chose were spicy garlic Parmesan and medium buffalo. I also ordered a Hell Yes Ma'am beer. It was delicious and cold, definitely one of my favorite beers on draft. There were only 2 waitresses working, but they were hustling and friendly. My wings took forever to be brought out to me though and that sucked. When I received them, they were barely warm! What a bummer! The flavors of the sauce were delicious. I'm not sure if I would return."
"Spare Ribs!!! Nice char, tender, nice pull off the bone, and great sauce. Bread, beans and greens also excellent."
"Having changed the name at least twice (Big John's Hot and Spicy, & Big Johns Wings and Things), this food truck's owners have now settled on Wingski's. I'm not sure how that name came about, but with this name, I presume they'd do decent wings. An accurate presumption in this instance. There's a variety on the menu from this food truck, a sandwich, a wrap, buffalo shrimp, chicken and waffles, and - an unusual (for a food truck) but regional specialty - a fried bologna sandwich. With all of that, though, it's the wings that drew us in. With about a dozen different sauces, and with wings available in regular and boneless, our first sauce choice was not available (boo!) but the classic buffalo sauce was, and that's what we tried. It was listed a "medium" heat, but maybe I'm used to really hot, because I found it more of a low heat. The person I was with thought it was perfect. On the plus side, there's nothing like wings hot from the cooker. It was worth the short wait. Because the wings were smaller than average, the Wingski's crew threw in a couple extra wings and for the price, it was a nice surprise. The people handling the orders were most apologetic for not having our initial sauce choice, and handled it with a sense of humor. I think we'll be trying to find them again because there were quite a few options and we have more sampling to do."
"Wings and a half rack of ribs tonight for dinner. Definitely close to A-OK with the Buffalo Hot wings that were decently meaty but swimming in sauce. The ribs were good. A little overdone and the sauce was too sweet. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. It's important to point out that they do have parking, which in this part of town is a good thing. But I'm not sure if I would choose them again.[Review 11855 overall, 1637 of 2019.]"
