Love this place. Friendly staff, great food. What's not to like? Highly recommend their blackberry cheesecake and tres leches cake. Will definitely be coming back.

Cute bakery located in the heart of downtown Pittsboro. They have lots of cute holiday goodies including a grinch sugar cookies, gingerbread cookie, chocolate bombs, and hot drinks. Staff is really sweet.

In the heart of Pittsboro we found this jewel. Amazing pastries and bread! All made fresh from scratch. Service was great too!

This is a fabulous dessert shop. I will definitely be going back. I tried the lemon cheesecake, coconut cookie bar, and the peanut butter chocolate cookie bar. All delicious and not too sweet.

This little bakery is a local treasure. Delicious treats and coffee. The service was phenomenal! Such kind, friendly and knowledgeable help is a refreshing find!

good cookies, especially the cookies. the service was great. they were nice, efficient, an knowledgeable.the town and location was in a neat little up and coming spot. if I am ever going by again I would check them out.

Visiting from Long Island NY and the grandchildren wanted to go to a bakery. I happen to see a sign for this establishment and I believe someone at the local brewery had been praising it. Well, been there 3 days in a row. The children loved their cupcakes and so did grandma and grandpa (me). We tried a few items and all good! The owner is so nice and friendly.

The women who own and run this bakery are talented, hardworking, and kind. They've made 2 custom birthday cakes for adult members of my family, both of which were sublime. I wish I'd taken photos but the cakes both went pretty quickly. I appreciate how community minded the business is and the collaborations they create with other local businesses. Carolina Cravings is my go to place for special occasions and occasional sweet tooth cravings. I recommend this business highly.

Update: after 10 days, I didn't receive the refund they publicly agreed to give. I've sent several messages the past few days and no response, even though I can tell they've read the message. So I'll amend my original review to include that they're dishonest. Such a shame.Would not recommend. We bought 2 pies for thanksgiving. Apple and pumpkin. I'll give them the credit that the flavors were good but the crust on both pies was way under done. Sent them a message the day after thanksgiving. While I didn't expect a response over a holiday weekend (even though I could tell the "seen" the message about 3 hours after I sent it) I expected some sort of a response. Week after thanksgiving and no response. I guess customer service takes a back seat to bad quality

We haven't been in Pittsboro since one year. So when we found out that two coffee stores closed downtown, we stopped here.The shop is definitely more a bakery than a coffee store, but they had at least filter coffee what was totally fine for us. It was just before closing time but they still had a good variety of sweets left. We decided for a brownie and small rum balls. And we bought a bag of home made marshmallows to enjoy at home. Everything was really good, fresh. The brownie would have been perfect less sugary. The two young women who are the new owners since two months were very friendly and were answering all our questions. They told us that they are planning to offer aqua fresca and homemade lemonade and get an ice maker machine in the future, what would be great for the hot summer month ahead.And one tip, we enjoyed the coffee and the sweets in the small Page Vernon park a half block up the street. They had tables and chairs set up and it was beautiful under the blooming trees.
