"Pizzeria Toro served some of the best pizza we've had in the Triangle. This restaurant has been in business since October 2012 for a reason. That's all you need to know. If you want details, read on.This place is popular and doesn't take reservations. We showed up right around 6pm on a Saturday and it was packed. We were given an estimated wait time of 25 minutes. Our actual wait time was about 30 minutes. I generally don't like waiting at restaurants, but this wait wasn't that bad because we were able to sit at the bar, and the wait was worth it.The restaurant's main entrance faces E Chapel Hill St. There's also a side entrance and separate bar room around the corner on Morris St. That's where we sat and waited. We had the option to eat at the bar, but we decided to wait for a table in the dining room for the experience and ambiance. It appeared online orders were picked up from a counter in the bar room. So, if you're picking up takeout, enter via Morris St.Like many businesses in this part of downtown Durham, Pizzeria Toro doesn't have dedicated parking. There's plenty of street, surface lot, and deck parking nearby. We parked for free in "Lot 32" at 111 W Chapel Hill St. The City enforces metered parking Monday-Friday, 8am-7pm. At the time of writing this review, parking rates are $2.50/hour for street and $2.25/hour for lot/deck.The restaurant isn't very big. Seating is communal. There's no outdoor seating. A showcase oven and pizza prep counter are the focal point of the the dining room (open kitchen). The atmosphere was bustling. The food menu was straightforward with 10 appetizer, soup, and salad options (priced at $11-16 each), 10 red pizzas ($15-21), six white pizzas ($18-21), and four cured ham options ($11-18 per ounce). Some local items were featured such as Chatham County Crispy Pig's Ears ($14) and Orange County Baby Lettuces ($11). The drink menu was extensive and had a decent variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The wine list had a solid assortment of wines from across Italy. Here's what three of us shared:Antipasti* Burrata ($15) - cherry tomato config, everything flatbread* Ricotta Dumplings ($16) - cipollini, NC sweet corn, Italian truffle* Person Co. Roasted Okra ($12) - tomato mayoPizza* Sweet Fennel Sausage, roasted peppers, provolone ($19) - red pizza* Spicy Calabrian Salumi, charred onions, fior di latte ($19) - red pizza* Cultivated and Foraged Mushrooms, garlic, fior di latte ($19) - white pizzaCocktails* Aperol Margarita ($13 each) x2 - Lunazul, Cointreau, aperol, lime, sea salt, rocks* Carousel ($12) - Campari, Barbera d'Alba, honey, lemon soda, rocks* Anguria Fresca ($13) - mezcal, watermelon, jalapeno, rocksWine* Sterparo, Aglianico, Basilicata (2022) ($11 glass) - orange and pink wine from Southern Italy (rosato / rose)Everything was delicious. My favorites were the Burrata and the Mushroom pizza. Everyone in our group liked the Mushroom pizza the best.If it's on the menu, burrata is one of my favorite things to order when dining out. Most restaurant burrata I've had has typically been good. In comparison, Pizzeria Toro's Burrata was above average. Not only was it really fresh, but it had an added layer of richness and complexity. The accompanying "everything flatbread," a la everything bagels, was excellent. It was full of flavor and incredibly tasty on its own.And that's something I noticed they do really well here: bread (dough / crust). The crust on all three of our pizzas was absolutely fantastic. This was the kind of crust that had ideal flavor and consistency (the right amount of springiness) where every single bite was scrumptious and you wanted to finish everything.I'm a fan of mushroom pizzas in general and Pizzeria Toro's Mushroom pizza was probably the best I've had in recent memory. It was packed with umami. I also love garlic and fior di latte, so no surprise this turned out to be my favorite pizza. Second-best to me was the Sweet Fennel Sausage pizza. Again, outstanding crust and just terrific all-around flavor. High-quality ingredients, well-balanced. I recommend it if you like sausage pizza. The Spicy Calabrian Salumi pizza was salty and savory. While yummy, I probably wouldn't order it again simply because there were so many other better-looking options on the menu. The other apps, the Ricotta Dumplings and the Roasted Okra, were very good. The Ricotta Dumplings were recommended to us by our server and it was a great recommendation, fairly unique and very satisfying. The Okra was local and a tasty side. The cocktails were well-made, strong, and refreshing. Also eye-appealing.We interacted with lots of staff, from the hostess to the bartenders to the food runners, and everyone / service was great. Francesca was our server and she was wonderful. I could tell this is a well-run operation."Toro" is Italian for bull. I think the business name is a nod to the City of Durham, nicknamed the "Bull City.""
"Very good pizza to go last evening. Meatball and onion pizza was good. Cheese pizza was also good. A good service experience at pick up."

"Tazza Kitchen is a small chain of American Diners mostly located in Virginia & the Carolinas. My friend who lives in South Carolina took us here, she likes the place and the food...I can see why. Good size venue, causal ambiance, friendly staff and fairly easy on the finances. #Adulting:~ ONE FINE DAY - 4/5READ THE MENU... CAREFULLY!! lol. They got me at; Watermelon & Hibiscus with lime. I completely missed the non- alcoholic part...lol. I was looking forward to a refreshing cocktail. #Grub:~ CHIPS & GUACAMOLE - 4/5Just a solid standard Chips & Guac, good stuff, just shy of amazing. ~ SPICY SAUSAGE & BLACK PEPPER HONEY PIZZA - 4/5This was a nice surprise. The pizza already sounded very interesting to me, the addition of Honey just put it over the top. Very tasty.#TACOS:The plate of Tacos includes two, and for an upcharge, a Third. I wanted to try a couple of different Tacos, luckily you are able to choose two different Tacos for one dish. ~ CHILI MARINATED SHRIMP TACO - 4.5/5An excellent combo. I didn't foresee this working out that well. I'm happy to say I was very wrong; Tasty and well balanced without being too spicy. The chimichurri slaw was delish, and I'm not usually a fan of mayo, but it worked in this case. ~ BEEF SHORT RIB TACO - 4.5/5 An other combo I wasn't too sure off ; wood oven braised beef, tomatillo chipotle salsa, queso fresco, cilantro lime onion slaw. Deliciousness! Good amount of meat in the Taco as well. I'm a fan. I like this place!"
"We were making a pitstop in Raleigh on a two week road trip and knew we had to come back to the trophy room to have some great beer as well as check out the pizza. The last time we were here they had exceptionally good wings and we wanted to make sure it would happen again! . We are happy to report that the food was absolutely just delicious as we remembered when we were here back in June.My husband ordered the dry rub wings with the garlic sauce on the side. It was absolutely perfect! I opted for the indoor kid pizza, which was a nice mix of mozzarella with tomatoes and a little bit of sweetness. Really delicious pizza and I love that the personal size pizza, are just the perfect size for someone to be full but not feeling bloated. Also tried the Wildberry tart pop sour very fruit forward. Definitely reallyenjoyed that."
"I have been intermittently going to Lilly's for years during family trips to NC. It's a delightfully weird indie contribution to the flowering Five Points neighbrorhood. As has been the trend nationally, the vegan options (my preferred choice) have gotten appreciably better over the years and they can now make one of the better vegan pies I've had in the South. Lilly's features local art ranging from children's drawings through professional quality. It may be for sale--I've never asked. There's a mannequin in shades at the front counter. I've never asked about that, either. There's a model airplane and other bric-a-brac hanging from the celing. You just go with it, as the funky vibe is sort of what you're there for. It is true that you will wait a while for your food, that you have to track down your own utensils and napkins, that Lilly's is short on frills, but those are all things that you pay for at other places, and the self-service ethos keeps the place on the cheaper side. All I can say is that you'll figure out pretty quickly if it's your scene or not. I'm a fan, and it's a cut above the corporate joints.Draft and bottled beers are availalbe. Parking is on street. Masking protocols are iffy."
"Bottom line: Great lunch meal at Bella Monica, the Whole Wheat Penne selection was delicious as well as light as it does not have a heavy sauce component. Service and atmosphere were good. If I could give half stars, I'd say 4.5 stars here. The Deets:Now that I think about it, I cannot believe I have not reviewed Bella Monica until now as these guys have been here in Raleigh for quite a few years. I was working near the area and got the chance to catch lunch there recently. We were greeted at the door promptly and given our choice of table or booth, so we went with a booth midway into the long narrow restaurant area. The server was pleasant and helpful, and started us off with some bread for the table. The bread looked like a square slice of sponge cake to me drizzled in olive oil, but tasting reveals that it is a light airy type of bread that I enjoyed (I am not a fan of hard crusty type breads so I loved this version, see pics). For my lunch meal, I went with the Whole Wheat Penne menu selection that includes chicken, arugula, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, Parmesan-Reggiano, and pine nuts. Reading the ingredients, it sounded delicious and light and when it arrived, the impression from the description proved correct (see pics). I really enjoyed this dish, wonderful flavors blending together without being heavy. I would definitely get this one again, it was great as it ticked most all the boxes of a nice Italian flavor profile without a heavy sauce. I would say 4.5 stars for this lunch visit to Bella Monica, and would love to visit again in the future."
"We ordered takeout from this location and I was very impressed. The young lady on the phone was very professional, polite and helpful. Even told me about a special they had going. Very niceI ordered a medium pizza with ground beef. It was ready when I arrived and I experienced the same good service in the store that I did on the phone. The place was clean and neat. Our pizza was still hot when I got it home and was just as I ordered."
"I've always been a big fan of their Mosaic Pale Ale, but now that I'm a resident of Raleigh, I got to go to LBC for the first time. The staff was super friendly and engaging and Jennifer was a great server, good attitude and a nice smile. I asked for a certain game to be turned on the TV, and they quickly obliged.I was given two samples of beer for free, though I would have been happy to try more. The wings are on market price, which I've never seen before. I've seen it for seafood and steaks, but never wings! Anyway, I got 2 orders of 6 wings. Because if you get an order of 12, you cannot get different flavors. I don't agree with that rule, but ok. I got an order of Chipotle BBQ and an order of Cajun dry rub. Big juicy wings, well cooked, great flavors. Very well done. For the road, I did get a Thespian pizza, with spinach, portabellas, tomatoes, garlic, mozz, and feta, and I added grilled chicken. Very good crust, not too thin or thick, but still very crispy, even left over. Definitely a place to return to, I had a fun time."
"I just love Johnny's Pizza! They have such delicious pizzas to choose from, great appetizers, and even better desserts!I ordered the Sicilian pizza and added bacon, pepperoni, and Sausage. Such cheesy goodness! The pizza was fully loaded and so good! The perfect deep dish! They have this Nutella dessert that I can't pronounce or spell but they are little bites of heaven! I could eat a million of these things!Johnnys pizza is an absolutely amazing pizza shop!"
"We ordered the white pizza, caprese sliders, and garlic knots. The sliders were delicious, with a big slice of mozz on each one :) the knots were also good! The pizza. Oh, the pizza. My husband and I are white pizza fanatics. This was amazing. The dollops of ricotta couldn't be any sexier! It isn't my favorite in Raleigh, but it DEFINITELY beats other pizza places. I thought the spinach on it was a nice, unique touch. I will say these slices were huge though (worth every penny!!!). Service was fairly quick and staff were nice."
"Ok, I've visited and had the best pizza in Chicago and I'll definitely say that Acme is spot on in flavor. It's also tame Chicago-style pizza in the sense that it's not as thick and casserole like as I've had-- and I love that for me!Our Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza was fantastic, and I enjoyed the crust as well. Our to-go order for pizza night was perfect!"
"Now the pizza was great but the customer service made the pizza even better! Came in looking for a certain beer to have with my pizza and told myself if they didn't have it I was going to leave. Then I saw someone else's pizza! Took a bite and knew I made the right decision. then a manager came over just to make sure our cups were filled at all times. Nice atmosphere, clean store and the waitress took the time to explain the difference between each and every pizza! Definitely coming back and I recommend you too!!!"

I'm not a local, so wasn't sure if the reviews were really going to live up to the hype. Well, I'm here to say it ABSOLUTELY DOES!!!This is among the top pizza's I've ever had in the world. The crust is absolutely perfect. It's light, yeasty and crispy and pairs so well with whatever is on top. We had the classic margherita which isn't usually my go to, but was very well done. And the white potato pizza which was fantastic. I can't wait to come back to try some others next time. For apps, the supli's were fabulous with great flavor. The brushetta with whipped ricotta was good, but I thought the bread was a little stale or wet? Good, but not as good as everything else we had. Also the kale salad which was well dressed, but I'm personally not a huge raw kale fan.The restaurant is hopping and quite busy and loud, even on a Sunday night. Sad we skipped dessert as they looked amazing and will have to leave room for that next time! Definitely coming back here next time I'm in town.

Enjoyed yet another amazing dinner here tonight with my Dad. The clams appetizer was simply amazing! I dipped my bread in that sauce after the clams were gone! They were out of escargot but our wonderful server David suggested the clams and I might've even liked them better. We also ordered the calamari which were crispy yet tender and fresh. I ordered the carbonara again and it was just as delicious as the first time I had it. My Dad went for the veal Parmesan and he cleaned his plate along with the side of spaghetti. He said it was amazing. I also had the lemoncello martini while my dad had a whiskey and my drink was perfectly sweet and tart and I had to stop myself from gulping it down. Not only is the food amazing but the staff are incredible at their jobs. David was so attentive and accommodating. This is definitely one of my favorite spots to dine in this area. Bravo!

Parking was a bit challenging on a Saturday at lunch. Otherwise, smooth sailing. The wait for outside seating was minimal. The food. The white pizza with sprinkles of bacon was amazing! Brick fired pizza with a sourdough crust, perfection! Nice area to relax with a cold beverage and enjoy the great food options. Next time I want to sit inside, the dim lighting would make for a great dinner date.

There is certainly one thing better than finding a comfortable neighborhood patio to sit down for a drink, one that can serve a proper old fashioned. The old fashioned is one of the oldest cocktails in the book, with the first recipe being printed in 1895. It is a simple recipe made with simple ingredients, served over ice in an old-fashioned glass, also known as a lowball or rocks glass. Any attempted alterations to this simple recipe usually results in a good glass of SWILL. Trophy brewing can serve a quality brew within the temp range of 36 to 40 degrees, but they don't even serve and old fashioned over ice and nobody likes a warm cocktail on a 95 degree day. I was at least hoping for a delicious hummus appetizer and although they do serve a delicious garlic hummus, they do it no justice by serving it with the thick and dried out pita bread. I am a fan of the open aired patio, the wonderful service and excellent ambiance, but the food and drink doesn't seem to raise any flags at this point!Cheers!

We were seated at a table by the door and the bathrooms were around the corner. Everyone who went to restrooms passed by our table and some bumped into our chairs because we were sitting parallel to the wall and the chairs stuck out. That was uncomfortable. Also it took a very long time to get our food and when we did get it, it was not super hot and it tasted mediocre. I had the eggplant rollotini and it was ok. My friend had the spaghetti scampi and it was a small portion with the tails left on the shrimp. Not a fan. This restaurant used to be a lot better.

I thought they were closed during lunchtime as there were no cars parked in front and the windows are tinted so dark I couldn't see inside. I was just going to drive by, but decided to go take a look. Their "open" sign is so far up on the building you have to be a giant to see it!I got a slice and forgot how massive they are!! Should have asked for it to be cut in half cos it's too much to handle. I asked for it to be cooked well done and it was perfect. The only drawback I saw was I passed by at least five tabletops that were dirty when I looked for somewhere to sit. It was surprising cos there was noone there when I arrived and they barely had any customers as I sat and ate. Even more so, the owner didn't even notice it. The young guy at the register was pleasant enough when I mentioned it as I was leaving, but who knows if they got cleaned off or when.

Parking was easy and it's close to several stores like Target, Goodwill, etc. We stopped in for lunch while we were out doing errands. It's a fun atmosphere, lots of TVs going so whatever your game is, it's probably on!Broad menu, not so much it was tough to decide though. I had the spinach calzone and my husband got the Angus burger w homemade chips as the side. I am taking half my calzone home, it was huge! He said the burger was really good and hit the spot. Chips were REALLY good! They have a great flavor. Service was on point, attentive and quick. I love it when the keep the water filled up without asking. I love coming here in the spring/summer/fall and sitting on the roof. Give it a try if you are in this neck of the woods!

"Feels very much like a NY pizza shop, from someone who has been to several in NYC.Deli style seating with the "kitchen" right there. No frills.Massive, thin, foldable pizza slices with generous topping portions.Best NY style pizza we've had in the RDU area."
"I've been meaning to try this place for years and we finally did it. Wow! It's everything I grew up on back in the northeast. We got the square pizza (without any arguments about the 12x18 dimensions). We did half pepperoni and half pepper & onion. It was amazing! Great crust, fantastic flavors, and perfect overall balance. The only flaw, and it was acceptable given everything else, is that the crust was a bit soggy in the middle. I accept that to get the sauce level and other toppings it provides though I think it could benefit from a Roman style double bake approach. Still, one of the best pizzas I've had in NC. We'll be back!"
"I had a pasta a la Maria & my partner had the salmon a la Rosa one. Mines had scallops shrimp and crab meat on top. It was a vodka sauce and delicious. We both loved ours. Staff was friendly and service was quick. We still think about this place often (we're from out of town)"
"Our Easter Brunch at Tazza Kitchen in Stone Creek Village was an experience to remember, marked by the exceptional service provided by Elise. From the moment we arrived until the end of our meal, Elise was the epitome of professionalism and warmth. Her attention to detail, quick service, and friendly demeanor made our family brunch not just a meal, but a memorable occasion. We indulged in a variety of dishes that were a feast for the senses. The Huevos Rancheros were a perfect blend of flavors and textures, combining fried corn tortillas with black beans, fried eggs, tomatillo salsa, chorizo, queso fresco, sour cream, avocado, and pico de gallo in a symphony of taste. The Egg Scramble Bowl, with its mix of home fries, provolone, scallions, peppers, bacon, and salsa verde, was a hearty and satisfying choice. The classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a buttered bun, accompanied by home fries, was comfort food at its finest. And the Cinnamon Bun, with its homemade brioche and vanilla sugar glaze, was a sweet end to a perfect meal.Every dish was prepared to perfection, with each ingredient shining through, making it evident that Tazza Kitchen prioritizes quality and flavor. The food and drinks were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with nothing left out of place. This Easter Brunch was a testament to Tazza Kitchen's commitment to excellence in both food and service. Already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to Elise and the entire team at Tazza Kitchen for making our family gathering a great one."
"I've been here a few times now and never had a bad meal from salads to pizzas. It's conveniently next door to a Hertz location I visit so I always try to plan the lunches for Mamma Mia. The owners are usually there and seem really nice. Indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of easy parking. Most recently I was hosting a training and needed to feed a lot of people. We went in for their huge pizzas (and they are HUGE!). This thing literally barely fits in the back of an suv. We picked up three with a variety of toppings. Everyone at the training loved the pizza for its taste and novelty size. I highly recommend you check these out if you're hosting. It's a win win for taste and conversation piece. They also have a great lunch special. I usually get this two slice lunch special (theme here...the slices are huge) and a drink. Overall this is a great local spot! I always look forward to my Apex trips because of this lunch gem."
"Six of us had dinner here on a weeknight. It was good, but not as good as what I've had in the past. Made the mistake of ordering the eggplant parmigiana. Way too much breading. Soggy. Eggplant itself was so thin you couldn't taste it at all. Would not recommend. Husband's pasta dish with sausage & broccoli was okay, nothing exciting, and quite expensive for what it was. Definitely recommend sticking with Pasta Puttanesca. That's what they do best here. They do a decent pizza.Indoor & Outdoor seating. Good old-school Italian restaurant in City Market. Parking is as it is for anything downtown...find what you can. The Red Hat lot is pretty convenient."
"I've been here countless times since my last review, but just wanted to update it to sing them praises once again!I don't think you're going to find a better buffet in the area. The salad bar is excellent with so many choices of toppings and homemade dressings that are delicious. The dessert bar is very good too and one of my favorites is the strawberry ice box pie. I get a slice before I hit the hot buffet so it has time to thaw while I'm eating my hot foods. The pizza bar is big with at least eight or more pizzas to choose from at any given time. Last, but certainly not least, is the hot bar. There's a pasta bar with several kinds sauces and usually ribs and rice are there too. The main hot bar I love! Two different soups, corn fritters, potato tots, roasted potatoes in a slightly cheesy sauce, some sort of creamy pasta that changes, Greek roasted chicken that is fantastic, usually another kind of chicken too, green beans with garlic, sometimes roasted veggies too, sausage in peppers and onions, and who knows what all else. I can't remember it all, but it's all so good! The staff is great. So friendly and attentive. The manager is always present and not only stays on top of things, but constantly is pitching in with the rest of the employees. That's a good manager in my book!!The buffet is now all day and night on Sundays and I believe just for lunch the other six days of the week. Whenever we do go we try to get there when they open because the place will stay busy non stop, for obvious reasons!"
"This is the real NY-style pizza. Very, very, very thin slice... which is how I like it. Get the plain cheese! Garnish with a bit of oregano. Perfect!!Up there with Di Fara's in Cary, NC/Brooklyn, NY."
"This place is not what you would expect from Sanford. We moved here from MPLS where there is so many different restaurants on every corner. I admit we are missing that aspect of our new city. So someone recommended La Dolce and I'm so glad they did. They had great pizza! The vibe is laid back and you don't feel like you are in Sanford. I wish they had a house salad rather then the specialty salads as nothing is better then a plain salad with pasta. M"
"Went on a late Saturday afternoon and had the patio to ourselves. Loved the quietness & the nice breeze from the outdoor fans. Enjoyed my blood orange cider and the burger was incredibly juicy & tasty!"
"Assaggio's still reigns as my favorite pizza restaurant on this side of Raleigh. As a New Yorker, I'm considered a pizza snob. Assaggio's never disappoints. They also sell delicious Italian bakery items here. The garlic knots, tuxedo cake and pepperoni pie are my favorite menu items. Make this your first stop for pizza in the area. There is ample indoor dining space and they prepare your slices fresh."
"We finally got to check out Nosh! It had been closed during Covid and have opened back up. They don't have their full menu yet, but what they do offer, they do very well. The biscuits are large and very tasty. They even make their own pickles, with is impressive. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
"Let me first say that I'm usually hesitant going to local Italian restaurants because of the number of mediocre meals that would've been cheaper and better if I made them myself at home. Cristo's is the exact opposite of that. The restaurant itself is unassuming and doesn't scream "my food is amazing" but trust me, THE FOOD IS AMAZING. A group of 7 of us ordered a bunch of things to share them family-style and nothing we had was below a 4/5. It was all so good. Caesar salad - dressing was bomb and perfect amount of dressing and croutons. The bread they gave us was super fresh and delicious. The main events - the pasta and pizza blew my mind. My two favorites, the rigatoni bolognese and the pineapple hot honey pizza were easily 5/5 and if I could I'd rate them higher, some of the best pasta and pizza I've eaten in a good while. The other pizza, the Brooklyn was also delicious and I recommend it. The gnocchi was probably the only thing I would give a 4/5 and it's probably only because it had to go up against the rest of the dishes. The surprise dish of the night was the pear pasta! Definitely something different, a fun change of pace, and the perfect dish to share with people if you want a little bit of richness. Overall, 5/5 will be back as soon as I possibly can. The only picture I took was at the end because I was enjoying the food so much I forgot. My bad."
"Been wanting to come here for a minute and decided to today and glad I did. I started with the mimosa flight which came with 3 glasses of one juice each:orange, cranberry and lavender . They were the bomb, the lavender one was my favorite. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich and chose breakfast potatoes as my side. The sandwich was good but it can get messy especially if you put syrup on it, end up using my fork towards the end. Overall good brunch for a Saturday and definitely will be back soon."
"A must try if you're in the area!! One of my all-time favorites. Great bar food and drinks at amazing prices. The inside is quite small, so it can get busy and packed quickly especially after 5. There are plenty of parking options, but the adjacent lot is small then there's a dirt lot right across from the restaurant as well. The size of the restaurant is my only complaint. I live right across the street so I just do to-go, but have gone during the week for lunch a few times when it wasn't too busy. They have a full bar with a lot of beer and liquor options as well as a few wine options. The servers are all friendly and helpful. Definitely a small-town family feel when you go. Now to the important part...the food. AMAZING. Everything is good here and there's an assortment of options. I've had so many different things on the menu and I have always been pleased. The prices are also great for the quality and quantity you get. Some of my favorite dishes include: Mango Jalapeno Wings PizzaSubsStuffed Mushroom (stuffed with crab and shrimp) Mussels Homemade chips Shrimp in Garlic Salmon BLT WrapStromboliAlso, they have great specials every weekend that start on Thursday evenings and go Friday and Saturday evening. So far, I haven't seen them repeat any of their specials so if you see one you'd like to try you'd better just jump in and try it. They post their specials on their Facebook page as well as any updates so make sure to Like and Follow them there!"
"Went again with my daughter and husband at her suggestion for her birthday, and we all enjoyed our meals and appetizers. I had the veggie pizza again (didn't realize I picked the same thing! Lol) and really enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her chicken sandwich and really loves the hot sauce she gets on the side. My husband enjoyed his shrimp taco as, as well. We all shared fried pickles and the portobello fries - both were delicious but I really enjoyed the portobello fries! Tasty and unique! Our waitress was wonderful, as well!"
"We went to Franks the other week and the food was good and the portions were generous. We dined inside and the staff was very nice. This place seemed to do a killer take out business. I would definitely get food from here again. What I will say is if you are dining in it leaves a lot to be desired. The chairs and tables are old, the walls and interior feel left from going out with my Grandparents between the late 70s and early 80s. The food is served in takeout containers. I mention this so understand the vibe if you are thinking of eating in before taking someone here."
"Wow Milton's definitely surprised me. I was hoping for a good meal and Milton's exceeded my expectations! I ordered takeout online. The menu is easy to read and packed with options. It takes a while to get through the menu. Eventually we decided on the margarita pizza, shrimp power bowl, and chicken Athena. The order was ready upon arrival, accurate, and brought to my car with their convenient curbside takeout option. The employee who brought the order to the car was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed all of the items. The pizza was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The grain and pasta dishes were equally cooked well and included nutritious vegetables. Overall, we had a good experience ordering from here and recommend this restaurant to others!"
"Greek salad with hot bread and butter started our meal. Stuffed mushrooms was a nice appetizer while we waited. Eggplant Parmesan with angel hair pasta was old school delicious. Generous portions are the Rule at Amedeos. N.C. "The crust was floppier than I thought it would be, but the slices were HUGE! Tomato pizza literally has my heart. Service was great"
"I dined at Piper's Tavern in a large group. they have an elevated seating area and that worked well for the group. Service was friendly. I went with the fish and chips. The portion was large but the arrangement on the plate made the chips soggy with the fish on top of the chips. I'd order something else if I return. The fish was good as were the chips not under the fish. It is too bad they weren't put to the side of the plate. We were all shocked when the checks arrived with the extra 3.5% charge for using a credit card. So what happened in most cases is that was taken from the tip to the server."
"This pizza was so good. I had never heard of Brenz but I have now! Tried the artichoke and spinach pie and it was delicious. Full of flavors and plenty of topping. I love fresh ingredients on my pizza and a toasty crust. Also tried the Caesar salad which was tasty. This place has so many interesting combinations of pizza. I will definitely be back soon. I really like all the sizes they offer and they make subs too. The inside has plenty of seating if you eat in and it's easy to find the place. Plus plenty of parking out front."

You not only get it your way, every entree is prepared with the highest quality ingredients.
