"We came here for lunch and proceeded right away on the patio. Service was very attentive and friendly. The green tea was authentic and full of flavor. Lots of veggies in the noodle soup but could've been warmer. They have spice levels from one to six."
"I have yet to try their Korean BBQ but their Dolsot Bibimbap (hot stone bowl with meat n veggies) is solid. Loved the shallower bowl which gives more surface area for toasted rice flavor. The Kimchi Jigae was decent and the banchan side dishes were good. The side dish of mayo-based macaroni with raisins was reminiscent of church meals that someone's mom or grandma always made. I requested a refill on that one. Nice way to offset the heat and spice. We'll be back for the Korean BBQ!"
Assortment of lightly seasoned vegetables (daikon radish, bean sprout, carrot, zucchini, watercress and sweet potato stem), topped with a fried egg and served with rice and Korean red pepper paste sauce on the side. Eggs cooked to order.

"I've been looking for a good Banh Mi in the Triangle area and Bonjour Bánh Mi & Tea delivered! They make the bread that they use for their Bánh Mi fresh in the restaurant every day I honestly couldn't decide whether I liked the grilled pork or the bulgogi side better because they were both packed with so much flavor. Julius and I were also huge fans of the combination vermicelli noodle plate! My only regret is not trying any of the Boba or milk tea, but I will absolutely be back soon to check out some of the other menu items and fulfill my Banh Mi cravings.Make sure y'all check them out soon -- the owner is also super nice!"
"Very last minute decision to go to Jujube after a long day at the office, and we live on the other side of town. Better to enjoy some delicious bites and a cocktail than sit in traffic on 40! While I feel it's slightly difficult approach this location, everything after that was amazing. Early dinner on a Monday, got right in on the simple yet lovely outdoor patio. Host was kind, service was great. We started with the short rib goat cheese wontons and they were just right. Salty, sweet, creamy, slight spice to the sauce. Five total in an order. Very generous for a starter.I went all in and got the lemongrass hanger steak. My husband got the beef bulgogi. Both were so yummy! The hanger steak was simple. Perfectly cooked, sea salt, lemon grass (naturally) with a side of peanut sauce and the most amazing cucumber salad I've ever had. As a lover of peanut sauce, I still could've done without it. The steak was great alone. The beer bulgogi was smokey, delicious. We finished with the chocolate mousse with cookie crumbles. It was good, but I honestly enjoyed the main dishes much more. More and more, service is key for me. They were celebrating their 18th anniversary (I think) at jujube this day and I can see why. Just a great, genuine overall delicious experience. I can't wait to return and wait out traffic. I'd also go out of my way to eat there again."
"Came in off a Yelp search, and saw the kha soi noodles had some good reviews so of course I had to come try. They were full of flavor and were fresh tasting. Highly recommend. The edamame was okay. The service was exceptional from all employees. The ambiance was quiet, and the place was clean. Overall, this place was a place I would return to and highly recommend for someone in the area."
"Have been to Thai Villa several times and this place never disappoints. Ordered one of my favs, they called Thai Villa noodles but it is the "drunken noodles" and the flavors take me back to Phiphi Island and a neighborhood restaurant in Bangkok Service is always good even for a hole on the wall"
"I'm saying it but this is the BEST Thai Food in Durham and possibly Raleigh-Triangle. Over the past 9-years of living in the area, I've searched near and far for quality Thai food but always fell short. Don't get me wrong, most are good but always fell into the "fusion" category. Twisted Noodles is straight up Thai food! From the flavors to the portions, everything was about quality.I stopped in for a late dinner and the moment I walked in, I was hit by the smell of a good ole' Thai cooking! I knew I was in for a treat. It was a beautiful night so I decided to grab a seat outside. I can tell that they were busy with folks dining in and especially take-out. People were coming in non-stop. It took a bit of time to get my menu but I understood the struggles of owning a restaurant with good food. The menu featured all of the legit Thai dishes you could think of. I was so surprised to see my favorite on there -- Rad Na! It's basically noodles topped with a gravy like sauce. This is rare to find in the area. It was amazing! The sauce was very balanced with sweetness, tartness, and saltiness. I also ordered the chicken green curry which was on point too. The portion was big enough for 2-3 people to share. I was so happy to bring home leftovers.Overall, amazing food and good customer service from start to finish. Don't sleep on "Twisted Noodles"!"
"Amazing food and amazing service. The portions were gigantic (even for lunch) and we loved all of it. The hot tea was great as well as the Thai iced tea. The chicken lettuce wraps and skewers were my favorite of the dishes we tried. Can't wait to come back!"

First time at Noodle Boulevard, was craving noodles and heard so many great things about this place, so we decided to give this place a try and I was thoroughly impressed! You can choose a spice level of 0-6 with each dish, which I thought was such a neat concept. I ordered the Chicken Curry Ramen Bowl with a spice level of 5, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The spice level added a perfect, silent kick without overpowering the rich flavors of the curry. The chicken was tender and flavorful, all the flavors of the soup just soaked into each piece. The ramen bowl included: fresh greens, a soft boiled egg, crispy wonton strips, crisp bean sprouts, pickled mustard greens and a lime wedge. All the flavors went harmoniously together for the best umami experience. The noodles were also cooked al dente which is exactly how they should be! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and friendly, and the staff were so kind and very attentive. I highly recommend Noodle Boulevard for anyone looking to enjoy a deliciously satisfying bowl of ramen. Loved this place, will definitely be back!

I was surprised when I read some of the recent reviews because this has been our go to place for Korean food for the past 20 years and we have always had outstanding service and delicious authentic food. Today was no exception. Our waitperson could not have been sweeter, attentive and professional. He brought everything correct, gave us hot tea to start and was on hand when we needed more napkins or cutlery. I loved my bento box and it sure filled me up. I had salad with a light flavorful dressing, a beef sushi roll, lots of beautifully cooked tempura and chicken teriyaki with a generous portion of rice. I forgot to mention the miso soup which was good, and all those little dishes of endless amounts of kimchee, macaroni salad, broccoli salad, and some other yummy spicy items. I love this restaurant and we had a great lunch at a reasonable price with great service.

Amazing food!! I loved the pho, banh mi, and bubble tea here. The pho broth was so satisfying and delicious. It was salty, meaty, and slightly tangy - just the way pho broth should taste. There were beef slices, meatballs, noodles, sprouts, and Thai basil in my pho. My favorite way to eat pho is to immediately put the raw sprouts and basil in the hot soup as soon as it arrives. Then I drag up the noodles with my chopsticks to cover the sprouts and basil to help 'cook' them and allow these to permeate the broth. Then I like to squeeze my lime and add a few drops of its juice into my pho. The taro milk tea was tasty and the boba was perfectly chewy. The banh mi was so good. The bread was deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. There was meat and pickled veggies stuffed inside. Service was friendly and fast. The restaurant felt more cafeteria style - after ordering, I sat down and claimed a table. I visited within an hour of store closing so there were no other guests there, and I basically had my pick of the seats. I had a buzzer that lit up and buzzed when my food was ready to pick up from the counter. The interior was clean and aesthetic. There is an outdoor patio for seating available. Great experience here! I definitely want to come back!

I thought it was good but not great. My daughter and I started by sharing three small plates. Small is not completely accurate, all of them were quite robust and we ended up with a lot of food. The best of the three was the wontons with short rib and cheese. Five large wontons, fried well and the meat was tasty. The kale salad was mixed. I personally liked the candied pistachios (they tasted like pistachio ice cream), others at our table not as much. It was a little greasy for a salad and also almost as if they couldn't decide between traditional kale and crispy kale, kind of the worst of both worlds. I liked the cauliflower starter but it was quite sweet. For a main, I had the hangar steak with cucumber salad. Again, a nice sized portion and the steak was cooked exactly like I asked (medium rare), though I found the peanut sauce a little tasteless. Overall a good meal with caveats.

What a great place - Thai Villa is indeed a hole in the wall Thai Restaurant, and wow is their food awesome. Their menu and cooking is authentic as it gets - and the execution is outstanding. The environment is simple - not a romantic candle-lit spot :) I can imagine they do a lot of take-out: I saw a lot of to-go order while I dined. the service was fast, attentive and friendly. One downside is they have no Sing Ha beer (or any beer) to reduce the spicy heat of their cooking. {alas}

I think I found my new favorite place to eat! Me and my mom found this place, we were moving stuff all day and needed something to eat asap and found this place near by. The crab and shrimp fried rice is SO GOOD. It's so hard to find good crab fried rice. The Pad Thai was very yummy as well. I was really impressed. I've passed by this place a million times because it is in a shopping center I frequent but never thought to stop in. The staff was friendly and the food came fast! I can't wait to eat here again.

So we came here after just having Malaysian Food in a Michelin Bib Gourmand Malaysian restaurant in Washington D.C. and this place is so much more authentic, delicious and non-pretentious than Makan. The staff was so friendly and polite, ask for Penny, and the portions were filling and flavorful. The fact that the Roti Canai was an entree size with three flaky crepes and they didn't charge you separately for the Roti and the Curry alone makes it worth it, not to mention how flaky and yet non-greasy the Rotis were. Great environment and great food, would definitely come back.

"I liked the drunken noodles for lunch on a recent Saturday. They were loaded with vegetables and chicken, and the noodles were cooked just right. Plus, drunken noodles can be quite oily, but these weren't. They also weren't too salty. The dumplings were good as a starter, too.The service was fast and friendly, and they do social distancing right. The staff wore masks and tables were well spaced. They also have an outdoor patio."
"Love the location, parking is great. You can literally park in front of the building for pick up. Interior design is beautiful and cozy if you're in the mood to dine in!Consistently cooked to perfection, I won't go anywhere else in Chapel Hill for wide rice noodles. The price is extremely fair for dinner ranging from $13 is a huge bargain for a full meal in this area!Posting this after my second day in a row of dining in at their restaurant. Needless to say: REPEAT CUSTOMER FOR LIFE"
"I've been dying to try this place since it opened. Finally, I got around to it and got some ramen to go! I had the Tonkotsu ramen. It was delicious. The broth was very flavorful, I could have that by itself, lol. The order was ready 5 minutes after I ordered and the staff was nice. It wasn't busy, I went on a Wednesday evening around 6pm. It's a cute place, next time I'll have to dine in. I'm not on that side of Durham often, and there wasn't too much over there that I frequent so if I back, it will just be for Urban Noodle!"
"The Pho was decent but not amazing. The Thai tea was okay as well. Large dining room that is well decorated."
"This place is always busy! I have come twice so far. I really like the pho here. Not as good as pho far east but still good. I ordered pho and a side of rice. The beef rib pho is also good too. The place is well kept and all the wait staff make sure you are ok and taken care of which is nice. I came here because this is convenient to my home and needed soup from my upset stomach. Worth a visit if you're craving pho."
"I enjoy Kobe and love hibachi. I think my only disappointment was the soda machine wasn't working. The food was good and the server was attentive."
"Hidden gem in Chapel Hill for Szechuan cuisineI stopped by this restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and attentive, even though it was a busy night. I was given a complimentary side of fried peanuts, which were delicious. I tried the egg drop soup, which was also very good. For my main course, I ordered the chongqing chicken, which blew me away. The flavors were bold and delicious. I loved every bite. The meal also came with a side of white rice.Overall, the food was amazing. I can't wait to go back and try the weekly lunch specials."
"I saw so many great reviews for this place, and hopefully I will re-try this once covid is over. i placed an order at the walk up window one afternoon when it wasn't overly busy. Based on the menu, I ordered a teriyaki chicken with extra veggies over 1/2 scoop of rice, with the sauces on the side.Nonetheless, the food was BATHING in the sauces, and was overly salty. I did appreciate the extra veggies in it, as they added a good amount of broccoli, however the amount of onions that were included (that i didn't see until i started digging through all of the sauce) was immense! Unfortunately for me, the experience was not very good, as there was way too many onions, bathing in sauce and was way too salty. It is definitely a good 'quick food' place, if you are into that. Prices were not that bad for the amount of food that you are getting, however, following directions from the customer was definitely not their forte."
"I'm a little surprised to be writing the first 5* review for CQ. Then again, it seems the others here have only tried the buffet (which I had once and thought was quite decent). I'm more a patron of the a la carte side of the restaurant, where the $4.95 lunch specials are an excellent deal. The food is fresh and flavorful, and there is a decent amount of quality meat and veg in each of the offerings. I haven't found many better deals or better lunches in the area."
"Another day, another ramen craving. I had never been to Tasu Noodle Bar, but it was recommended to me by a friend. I got Tonkotsu ramen (my favorite) because I am on the hunt for the best. I really did enjoy it. I really, really loved the Napa cabbage in it. The other places I've tried usually don't have Napa cabbage in the ramen, but now I prefer it, so I will be coming back here for the ramen. I also got the crab rangoons, those were decent."
