"Some of the best Turkish/Mediterranean food I've ever had is at Bosphorus. After almost a year of passing you by, I decided to stop by. I was warmly welcomed by all of the staff members. It was lunchtime and busy, but I did not mind waiting and was given a table that was meant for four. I offered to move, but the waiter would not hear anything of it. I was able to chill, read, and enjoy my food without any problems. Now the food. I started with their hummus that came with this thick, crusted bread that was great for dipping. Also, a plate of oil and peppers was complimentary. The hummus had tons of flavor without being spicy or salty--just so darn good. My falafel plate was the same--full of flavor without being overpowering. It came with five pieces of falafel, salad, yogurt dip, and rice. The rice was super soft and fluffy, and the yogurt dip, wow, again, so good and authentic! I enjoyed every bite until my pants told me I could eat no more, but something tells me their food will make amazing leftovers. I love the vibe of this place with the owners and staff being so friendly and welcoming. Everyone smiled at me, and I appreciated their great customer service and care. I can't wait to come back."
"Neomonde is a great option for Mediterranean food. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious and on the healthier side. I'd dine there more often if it were closer to me. I like that you can dine in with inside or outside seating or order to go. You just make your way through the line and order as you go. If the food needs to be cooked the order will take a little longer. The menu has a lot to select from so I'd recommend trying to decide ahead of time or it could just be me that has trouble making up my mind with so many options. I usually get a kabob platter and change up the sides. There is a small grocery store inside too that is well stocked."

"Vidrio gets a 5-star review from me! This place is beautiful, the service is superb and the food is delicious. This restaurant is centrally located in Raleigh in a section of the city with a few restaurants, hotels and bars within walking distance. The menu has quite a few options, and you can get virtually any drink from the full bar. My wife and I went on a late Saturday afternoon for an early dinner, and ordered the Charred Octopus, Hanger Steak and Local Burrata. Everything was delicious, I mean EVERYTHING! The service was great, common areas and restrooms were clean, and the decoration is beautiful (refer to the photos for details). There are quite a few affordable parking spots right in front of the restaurant.Overall, 100% recommended and we are definitely coming back!"
"Mediterranean Grill & Grocery is true diamond in the rough and I will hype their food up all day, everyday! Although they are located in an old building near a baseball field, this place is a true landmind for delicious food in South Durham. Mediterranean Grill & Grocery is by far my absolute favorite place to go for a gyro sandwich in the triangle. It's flavorful, juicy, assembled beautifully, and they don't skimp on the meat. They also have the best baba ghanoush, curried chick peas, roasted veggies and tabouli. I also love their curried couscous soup. Everything I"ve tried has always tasted super fresh. Their pita bread is always soft too even though it's not made in house and comes out of a bag they sell in the store. Overall, I can surely attest and say that I've never had anything here that I didn't like, and their quality and quantities are consistent. If you're in a hurry and coming here during dinner time I highly recommend placing a to go order over the phone and checking in what side salads they have. Hummus, baba ghanoush, and the tzaziki yogurt sauce seem to be constant, but if you're craving curried chickpeas like I do, just know that it's not an everyday day thing and you may want to call ahead."
"I am a pretty picky eater, but I do like Turkish Food (a similar cuisine), so when Lebanese friend mentioned coming to Sassool, I was game! The menu has a lot of nice meal options available. We ordered our food at the counter and someone brought our meals out to our table.I had a spinach pizzette, it was awesome! I sampled a bit of my friend's Baba Ghanouj, so tasty. The highlight for me was the fresh pita bread, absolutely mouth watering. The food was so flavorful! My friend loves this place too, so it's the real deal. I can't wait to come back and eat here again. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to Trader Joe's, so come grab a meal before you do your grocery shopping."
"Probably give it 4.5 but rounding up to five. Started on a weak note, my OPenTable reservation wasn't in their system, and even when I showed it to them they sat us but it felt grudgingly. Started the meal on the wrong note. As I expected, the mezze were the highlight. We had the cold mezze sampler and it was excellent, but the warm humus was even better. I found the break okay but not as flakey or tasty as I've had at other Mediterranean restaurants. For my main course, I had chicken Sultan's Delight. It was good, with nice flavor, though the chicken bits (although organic) felt a little processed. Overall it was good fit from start to finish at a reasonable price."
"A late lunch and a very empty stomach, we stumbled upon Mona pita. And got to meet Mona herself, who is absolutely so kind and wonderful. We were not sure what to order, so I asked her for her favorite recommendations. We got to try the lamb platter, and the chicken kebab platter. We also got a side of falafel, and of course for dessert... Baklava. The chicken was juicy and tender and flavorful. It came with a great side of yellow rice, and a Greek style salad. Pita and hummus also! A great value for a nice platter of food. The lamb was very delicious, same sides on that platter as well. The favorite was the Tahina yogurt dip that comes with the falafel. I would highly recommend getting extra cups of that and dipping everything in it! A great find if your belly is empty, and you want some delicious Mediterranean style food."
"I had a business dinner at Bleu Olive, and it was surprisingly the best meal I had in a while. I'd recommend Bleu Olive if you're looking for a nicer meal at a pretty reasonable price. Mezze: - tasting of spreads: good to share for a group, 4 dips with warm pita, cucumber, and crostini- fried calamari: I usually love this dish, I think maybe skip it here, heavy breading, not a standout Salad: Beets with goat cheese, arugula, fennel, lemon sesame vinaigrette. I was on the fence about getting this, and it was actually one of the best parts about the meal! Big, juicy, fresh chunks bed of beets, a layer of goat cheese, then arugula, sparse fennel on top, with vinaigrette drizzled on the perimeter. The presentation is so nice, good portion, and the flavors complement each other well. Honey glazed lamb loin: perfectly cooked to medium. Meat was so tender and not dry, broccolini was crunchy, mushroom orzo flavorful. So satisfying. Dessert - goat cheese & honey cheesecake: recommended by waiter and SO good. Rich, cute presentation with whipped cream, fruit, mint leaf, relatively thick crushed pistachio base- chocolate tart: dense, hint of orange, also good but the cheesecake was better Service: Our waiter was professional and no problems orders. The restaurant was busy, but the wait for the food was very reasonable. The space: Nicely decorated with some wreaths and Christmas tree for the holidays. You can see part of the kitchen counter where food comes out, but can't see most of the cooking process. Medium-sized restaurant. Busy during a weeknight dinner, so do consider reservations. Lots of free parking, and that's always a plus."
"Wow this place is amazing. I ordered from Uber eats. I got a little too much food for one but I really wanted to try many items! I got the three meats, I picked the steak, chicken kabobs and gyro meat, all was seasoned perfectly, all the meats were delicious.I got the Greek salad and fries and my sides, perfect salad and fries were crunchy! I also got the hummus, tzatziki which came with pita and also the Greek pasta salad. Yes a lot of food I know. Everything was so delicious, loved that pasta salad!!'"
"For a fast food place, this was pretty decent! You order your main dish which comes with a ton of sides you can choose from. I got the pita pocket plate which came with half a pita with beef and lamb shawarma which was my meat of choice. It was dressed with some taziki sauce. The pita was warm and fluffy and the meat was moist and flavorful, especially with the sauce. For my 2 sides, I got the beet salad and which was mixed with a pomegranate balsamic vinaigrette and the tabouli which is chopped parsley, tomato, cucumber and onion tossed in olive oil and lemon juice. Each of the side dishes was extremely fresh and the acidity helped brought out the freshness of the veggies. Overall a great meal!"
"I ordered a lamb entree and a side order of a cauliflower salad. I picked up my order. The staff seems pleasant. The dining area seems outdated and could use a cleaning. I got my food home, and it turned out that they gave me someone else's food. Very disorganized here. I had a pretty good lamb gyro, but this wasn't my order. The restaurant did call me to warn me of my order a few times but didn't leave a voicemail. I returned the following day for a refund since my order was more costly than what I ended up with."
"I had a great meal at this lovely Mediterranean restaurant in Durham, NC near Duke University. It was great seeing my high school friend and fellow Georgetown Prep Little Hoya. We had the salmon and branzino for a wonderful dinner. We started with some fresh olives with pits, and a nice octopus tissue (very tender and fresh). The service was great, we had some sorbet and chocolate cake for dessert. This is a very lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere although a little noisy. I recommend this place highly."

I love mediterranean / Turkish food. Each place is a little different, and this place was surely different. I got a table quickly. The waiter came right over and brought out some Nan bread and a special mix of seasoning and veggies in a dipping sauce.I thought I would get a Gyro platter or kabob. The waiter recommended the Lamb Kabob. I've never had it, but it sounded good. The dish came out with rice and salad. The first bite was awesome and tasty. What a great suggestion. I think there is a lunch size and a dinner size. I wish I had more. I recommended this place to a few people already. The service was good. The food was really good. The atmosphere was nice. Soft music. Colorful. If I lived here, this would be my go-to. I recommend highly.

Dined here for my birthday & enjoyed every single moment. Reservations for 3 were originally set for 6:00 pm and we were able to make a quick modification to update it to 6:15pm without a fuss.Things to consider before booking a reservation : - Small plates can be shared -the menu is smaller than the avg. (not a bad thing as it commits to the dish on the menu)- if you're ordering with a large group, keep in mind all items may come out at a separate times-the food is delicious Would recommend!

I had a taste for a gyro and this place has about the best in the Triangle. The staff is friendly and everything is made to order. I asked for extra sauce on mine and they definitely added more! Yum! I also added a side of stuffed grape leaves and a drink to make it a combo. It was all delicious!

We are familiar with Neomonde, their sister restaurants, but had never tried one of the family's Sassool restaurants. We had an offer from a local discount dining club and decided to go on a Sunday night. We thought it would be slow but this location was pretty busy. Lucky that they know how to serve you quickly. We got the stuffed eggplant special and the pick three combo. Oh my God, the pita bread they gave us was warm and delicious. If we lived closer, we'd definitely come here more often. They are fast casual, and similar to the Neomonde branded restaurants. There are so many options, but you can't really go wrong.

I landed in RDU to meet a friend and do some business. We planned to go to another restaurant that happened to be closed, so we crossed the street and went to Talullas! Omg, so glad the other place was closed and the universe directed us here. The food was incredible and we ordered a lot of food. We had the big sampler of appetizers, minta & kofte for appetizers which we completely wiped out. They had the bass which was excellent and my friend had the lamb which he said was epic. Ali, our server was amazing! Attentive, funny and genuinely hospitable. I wanted a version of konafe dessert which they didn't have so they made it for me, that is unreal and totally above and beyond!!! The place is lovely, loved the lights and the carpets. Felt warm and cozy. We spent a couple of hours in there.

Mona is a sweetheart and was very welcoming and you can tell she puts a lot of care into this place. That being said, I would rate the food here good, not great. I may be wrong but the rice that came with the meal seemed like one of those boxed mixes and maybe not as authentic as what I've had in the past. The chicken kabobs were great and the hummus is very tasty. The soda machine was down the day we were there and they had limited options for drinks so we had to walk over to the Papa John's a couple doors down to spend $3 a pop on a couple diet sodas. Also, the menu is really off putting because of all the items that are crossed out with sharpie or revised pricing written over what was originally in the menu. When you walk in and see that on top of the soda machine being out of order it makes you wonder about the quality you are receiving. I gave it a four because I think Mona is putting decent, mostly authentic food out, but had the food been any less the stars would have dropped quite a bit based off of what we experienced.

When we recently went to Durham, NC, we were expecting BBQ, grits and all kind of Southern cooking, but a great Greek restaurant?!? We were thrilled to find @bleuolivedurham - a true hidden gem in the South. @bleuolivedurham is located in a strip mall area with an upscale interior. The service was fantastic but the food had us recommending this spot to all the locals! We orderedGrilled octopusDip Medley with babaganoush, hummus, tzatziki and roasted red pepper dip served with warm pita Swordfish Mushroom PastaPot de Creme Trio with dark, milk and white chocolate The food was so so good that we were tempted to skip the rest of our weekend festivities to come back for more! Thank you @bleuolivedurham for bringing the Mediterranean to the South!

"You know this place offers great food when you're greeted by delicious smelling smoke (kabob!) from the kitchen that permeates the entire large dining area.Ordered 2 of the same: 2 kabob Mediterranean (Greek salad, tsatziki sauce, hummus, grape leaves) , platter, there are a variety of platters that cone with the 3 protein choices: lamb/beef, chicken or gyro. There are many platter choices that give you salad or rice or grilled veggies or fries or grape leaves and hummus! Service was friendly and professional! And oh don't forget pistachio baklava!"
"Lunch after church, nice outing with the family. Even the 8 yr old grandson enjoyed it. He couldn't get enough of the housemade sour dough bread/baguette and dipping oil. Thoroughly enjoyed his angel hair and marinara. He said was the best sweet tea! (Mainly because it was served in a goblet! Lol)Flaming Saginaki was a novelty. I ate most of it, they thought was 'ok'.. doesn't deter me from sharing new foods with them.Daughter enjoyed spaghetti with meat sauce. They're not into lamb so didn't enjoy the gyro.I had the gyro plate, my favorite. Well seasoned potatoes. Server was great, kept drinks refilled and checked on us appropriately."
"Great place. Clean with a 99 health grade. We enjoyed our Chicken Gyros. The staff was very friendly."
"I ordered online through their website. The order was ready in twenty minutes. When I arrived I was greeted with two smiling faces. It felt like home. Did I want to try a new menu item, their burrito bowl launching next week? Did I see that they had posted Ethiopian dishes on the menu, too? The decorations matched the owners' kind, bright and sunny moods. I ordered the three bean salad and a Kitchen burger and they gave me a sample of the new menu item, the burrito bowl, to-go. My husband ate all my three bean salad and he also loved the burrito bowl. We are excited for the new owners who are helping to strengthen the plant-based community. I can't wait to make this a habit."
"Recommended place if you are hungry and craving Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the veggie platter for takeout online. I was not sure by using the online ordering system if and how much falafel and pita it came with. Therefore as my sides I chose falafel, tabouli, and baklava and then paid extra for hummus and pita. As a result, I could not finish it all in one sitting - but it wasn't quite two servings. The falafel and tabouli were the stars of the show. The falafel had a great flavor and texture. The tabouli was also packed with flavor. The baklava was okay, too greasy and tough for my taste. The texture of the pita was ideal, however, it was cut up too small to hold anything. Pros:- Reasonable prices- Adequate portions - smaller than comparable restaurants, but enough to fill you up.- Fresh vegetables and herbs- Carryout and dine-in options available- Online ordering quick and easy- They offer whole wheat pitaCons:- Parking can be tricky if you go at a busy time"
"We stopped in for a quick lunch for first time. Did not want to eat off buffet which would have been too much food. We ordered Gyro's that came loaded with meat and vegies. The only negative I can say is the floors throughout restaurant are a little slippery which to means mop water is not changed enough. Seemed greasy."
"Consistently good food and good service. The specials offered have variety. The owner is very involved and it shows, the restaurant is always clean as well as the bathrooms. The location is out of view but most locals eat there. It's less than a minute from HWY 64/CVS, if you haven't been there .... GO!"
"First time here. Husband and I both ordered the 3 veggie platter-- lots of choices to pick from! I selected beet salad, fava beans and kale salad. Husband enjoyed falafel, fava beans and tatziki. Both platters came with pita. Kale salad was light, fava bean tomatoey and flavorful. Beet salad was my favorite. We also ordered sodas -- always appreciate a fountain drink machine that works well. Service was friendly and there was tons of eating space. We chose to eat outside because it was a beautiful day. Overall a nice place to grab lunch."
"Haven't been here in years, but since they sent me a generous birthday coupon for a gyro I decided to accept their invitation! The cashier, Anna, was so welcoming and wished me a Happy Birthday when seeing my coupon. She was really wonderful. I ordered the lamb gyro and made it a combo meal by adding stuffed grape leaves and a drink and happily paid the difference. I got a mixture of the unsweetened ice tea with the sweetened that also has pineapple in it. So refreshing! When I went to get my order I was given a free piece of baklava, another birthday gift!! You guys, sign up for their newsletter! The gyro was absolutely delicious as were the stuffed grape leaves. I asked for a little more cucumber sauce on the side for my gyro which really brought it over the top. The pistachio baklava was excellent too!All in all a great experience and a big thank you for such a generous birthday gift!"
"Got the rice noodles and their chicken skewers. This place is amazing and well priced. We've also catered with them for parties, and the food is always fresh and hot. Definitely recommend!"
"Came for pizza but they had already closed the kitchen. Energetic crowd though and great bartenders. May be back in the future."
"Stopped here to grab a bit of lunch with some friends. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We took a moment to look over the menu and decided the double kabob Rice plate the the meal for me!I got two chicken kabobs, tzatziki sauce, French fries, pita, and some rice. You get a decent amount of food for the price! My only negative was that the kabobs, while perfectly cooked in some spots, was overcooked and rubbery in other spots. The tzatziki was amazing! Thinly shredded cucumber in the sauce is my favorite was to prepare it and that's just what they did here.Don't forget the baklava you can order while dining here as well! I didn't grab any but I definitely regret that I didn't!If you're looking for some Greek food while in Pittsboro, this might be the stop for you!"
"The food was freaking phenomenal. Super authentic place with very flavorful food with great textures (tender smokey meats and mouth watering dishes all around). We ordered the chicken platter and the mixed grill platter of steak and lamb. Both were incredible. Loved the soups, super flavorful. The chicken soup has little pasta stars and tastes kinda lemony and blew my mind. Green lentil soup was fantastic as well.Falafel delicious crispy and steamy. All the food tasted super fresh. So good. Hummus and baba ghanoush come with pita bread. Those were super good too. And the hot sauce that came out with the grilled platters was awesome and tasty too! Running out of adjectives haha it was good! Flavorful with a kick and went nicely with the Mandy rice (rice cooked with lamb broth). The only downside is the parking lot can get packed. We actually tried eating here last night and couldn't get a parking spot. The lot and the lot for the market next door were completely full. Also, the service moves at a glacial pace (don't come here if you're in a rush). I ordered hot tea at the start and didn't receive it until the end of the meal with our falafel and before we got the check. The food seems to come out in a somewhat random order? And kinda dirty as mentioned in other reviews (cigarette butts etc). All the reviews I read before coming here have been accurate: painfully slow service and kinda dirty (we sat on the outdoor patio). I called beforehand to check if they allow dogs because of the outdoor seating and the woman on the phone was kinda ambiguous and weird about it, asking if the dog was small and saying that they had other customers (we have a Saint Bernard) implying without saying it that customers would be uncomfortable with big dogs but I think she was probably projecting because nobody cared. In the end she admitted that they had a table available and said she would prepare it for us (the patio was empty besides one table). It's definitely kinda dirty but I also think that there's maybe not enough wait staff to handle the customer load. The review is basically just for the food. You get a ton of it, it's all incredible, and so worth the wait. Definitely will return again! Next time we'll try the desserts!"
"Good but not great, although the food is fresh and well prepared, it seems to be quite overpriced. They do make a very good falafel! It was cooked and flavored very well, the added side salad and pita bread made this a great entree for lunch. Unfortunately, the limited amount of falafel they serve was not worth the price. Cheers!"
"Wanted something different than fast food, fried, southern. This place caught my eye while shopping. I ordered the Mediterranean Platter with one chicken kabob. The pita was soft, warm, yummy. Perfect with the hummus and tzakiki sauce. The greek salad had the perfect amount of dressing to veggies ratio, and the kalamata olives and feta added a nice hit of contrast. The chicken was seasoned nicely, but if ordered within an hour or two, it may be dry. It appeared dry but was good. Perhaps a drizzle of broth or EVOO?The grape leaves, although okay, reminded me of those from a can. Overall, I'd eat here again with lots of unusual combos to try."
"I enjoyed my meal at Kabobi today. I'm thankful that they are in the food court for those who are following a special diet or Halal. With so many fried and overly processed foods in abundance, you can rely on Kabobi for a affordable wholesome meal. The reason many people choose unhealthy food, is because of the cheaper price, however, you will pay in poor health. I enjoyed the customer service from the manager. He discussed the vegetarian options with me. I decided on the chick peas, spinach and lentil Biriyani rice. Biriyani is a long grain rice that is very delicious with the lentils added. My daughter really enjoyed this on my plate and ate all of it. You must try it. I also tried the Tabbouleh and enjoyed that with my meal. Everything was cooked just right and I was very satisfied. Thank you Kabobi. I will try the falafel and lamb kabob next time."
"Delivered lunch today from Shish Kabob, a beef kabob with a great salad, a huge serving of tzatziki sauce and more pita bread triangles than should be legal. Really, quite a big meal that was delicious. The meat could maybe have been a bit more moist but maybe that was lost in the delivery time.Arrived on time, packed well with cutlery and napkins included. I could order lunch from these folks again.[Review 12152 overall, 1936 of 2019.]"
"Good healthy options, lots of seating. Chicken was a little dry unfortunately but I went after lunch so it may have been sitting around a bit. Dips and falafel were good."
"The lamb was perfectly cooked. Not completely overdone. Just right. I like that you can order a salad and add lamb as a protein rather than only being able to get lamb in a gyro. I also like that there is outdoor seating with approximately 10 tables or so and large umbrellas for shade. The Caesar salad was spot on with just the right amount of dressing and the flavor was wonderfully tangy and delicious."
"Pita Grill was a great find thanks to Yelp. This is a humble mom-and-pop, family-owned-and-operated Mediterranean restaurant located in Timberlyne Village (Food Lion shopping center) near I-40 exit 266 (NC highway 86). My wife and I ordered several items and enjoyed everything. Not only was the food good, but the service was excellent. The mom/wife/owner of the restaurant was really friendly, the small staff of three worked very efficiently, and our order was ready in a snap.If you like Mediterranean food, I recommend this place. Their pita is actually the best I've tried in the Triangle to date. I think it's even better than Med Deli's pita.We ordered from the Dinner Entrees section of the menu. Here's what we got (descriptions from menu):* Gyro Platter ($14.25) - Greek salad, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, Kalamata olives, green pepper, feta, pita, and tzatziki* Kofta Kabob ($14.25) - marinated ground beef with grilled onions, bell pepper, and tomato over special homemade rice* Chicken Shawarma Plate ($13.75) - chicken shawarma served with Greek salad and tahini* Baba Ghanoush side, with pita (8 ounces for $5.50)* Rice Pudding dessert ($3.25)Everything was delicious. If I had to be critical, I liked the Chicken Shawarma the least because the chunks of chicken were a little dry. However, it wasn't anything the side of tahini couldn't fix. The tahini was a must. The Gyro wasn't the freshest, as in it didn't taste fresh off the spit. Instead, it was a little bit harder and crispier than the gyro I prefer, but that was OK. I still thought it was tasty and scrumptious, and nothing out of the ordinary. It was hard to find much wrong with any of the other dishes. I do recommend everything we had above except for perhaps the Chicken Shawarma, if you're picky about your shawarma. My wife liked it more than me, so maybe it's better than I'm making it out to be.One thing I loved about this place was the portion size of the Greek salad that was served with both the Gyro Platter and the Chicken Shawarma Plate. I love salads and Pita Grill served satisfyingly large portions of salad. It was great. The Greek salads were fresh, crisp, and flavorful. The Greek salad dressing was on point.I've eaten a lot of Kofta at various Mediterranean restaurants over the years. It's one of my most commonly-ordered items at Mediterranean restaurants because I like the taste and texture of kofta, which are similar to savory meatballs and hamburger. Pita Grill's Kofta entree came with four large pieces of Kofta. Each piece was a little bigger than about the size of a golf ball. The texture of the Kofta threw me off at first because it was a bit softer and looser - fell apart easier - than most other Kofta I've had. It still tasted yummy, though, spiced well and packed with flavor. My wife and I really liked the "special homemade" rice that came with the Kofta. Relatively large grains, fluffy, and flavorful. Buttery too. The cooked veggies - onion, bell pepper, tomato - were relatively "substantial" in size. For example, bold, juicy chunks of tomato. One thing the menu didn't mention was the side of macaroni salad that was included with both the Gyro Platter and Chicken Shawarma Plate. The macaroni salad came with carrot, celery, red onion, and seasoning. All veggies in the Greek salads, macaroni salads, and the cooked veggies that came with the Kofta were fresh, ripe, and hand-chopped. The macaroni salads were a wonderful unexpected bonus. The Baba Ghanoush tasted terrific and the portion size was plentiful. In my experience, most Mediterranean restaurants don't serve Baba Ghanoush in as generous of portions as Pita Grill's. If you like Baba Ghanoush, I don't think you'll be disappointed with Pita Grill's version. As for the pita, it was pretty much perfect. Fresh, warm, soft, springy, and pillowy with just the right texture, inside and out. A lot of Mediterranean restaurants can serve plain, hard, cold/room temp, and bland pita. Pita Grill serves the opposite. They back their name up. There are multiple restaurants with "Pita" in the name that I've had sad or average-at-best pita. Not here.Do get the Rice Pudding dessert. I suggest ordering one rice pudding per person. It's outstanding. It's cold and sweet with vanilla and cinnamon flavors. Smooth, creamy, and delectable. Pita Grill's other dessert option is Baklava (same price, $3.25 each). The restaurant also offers entree-sized salads, other plates and platters such as Chicken Kabob ($13.25), Chicken Souvlaki ($13.75), and Spanakopita ($13.50), plus pita wraps (expect to spend around $12 each for those), and soup. During our visit, the soup of the day was Lentil Soup ($7.50). Pita Grill's food travels well and is great for takeout. The restaurant isn't big, but it's not tiny either. They don't have a dedicated patio, but there are two covered, communal tables nearby outside that I believe belong to the shopping center.Pita Grill opened in August 2013."
"It's pretty good. My husband had a salad and enjoyed it, I had a lamb gyro platter. Not fantastic but decent. The guy with us had a sub and seemed to enjoy it. We'd go back and try some more things. Hillsborough doesn't have that much but this is a nice addition."
"Was in the area and decided to try something new. The place was neat, clean and very welcoming. The menu was hard to find at first but once I found it it was easy to understand. I decided to order a puvha bowl(spicy). I watched her prepare my food and it took no time! Prices are reasonable and the portion size isn't huge. The food was great! Full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I can't wait to try more menu items"
"Fresko is a excellent choice for healthier Mediterranean meals. I was famished and in the mood for Greek so I decided on the Build Your Own Bowl. I chose falafel and chicken as my protein, the spinach rice, added cucumbers, roasted red pepper, pickled onion, Kalamata olives, banana peppers and spicy feta, olive oil & cilantro as my sauce. This was the most flavorful, rich bowl I've had. I ordered the lemon soup but it wasn't authentic. Everything was perfection and plated well. My daughter enjoyed spanakopita (spinach pie) and loved it. It was her first time trying it. I will absolutely return again for a meal. Delicious !"
