"Super charming local restaurant with insanely good service and food. Highly recommended for a dinner with friends, colleagues, or a date night. I dined with my boss while in town for work and absolutely loved everything about the experience. The restaurant's vibe is chic and trendy while being upscale with a comfortable, casual feel. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer (I don't remember the name, but you'll know when you see it/the staff will know if you ask for it) and it couldn't have been better. I'm a vegan so you don't have to take my word for it when I say that it had a "meaty" texture, but it was certainly far better than what you'd typically expect from a cauliflower based dish (my boss also said it was meaty and he's an omnivore).I had the Chana masala with a medium spice level for my main course, and it was perfection. The basmati rice it was served with was perfectly cooked and fluffy and paired perfectly with the dish.Oh, they have a great selections of wines as well. I went with an orange wine that was described as a bit funky. It was fabulous and paired very well with the food.Overall, I had an amazing experience at Viceroy and highly recommend it!"
"ordered takeout, but the ambiance inside seems really nice! i also saw some nice looking desserts in the case but refrained from picking anything up this time. maybe next time though!we ordered veg samosas, moroccan hummus, and dum aloo. both the entrees came with roghani naan and rice. usually indian restaurants don't give free naan, so i thought that was really nice! the portions are also huge (which is good because each entree is on the pricier side). we were also offered free cilantro chutney with the samosas.the samosas were excellent - obviously not as flaky since i picked up my order like half an hour after it was ready but that's my own fault. the chutney was really nice and spicy.i enjoyed both entrees too, but i have to take a star off because neither of them is anything like their name. the moroccan hummus clearly engenders some confusion because when i ordered it over the phone, the guy on the other end described the dish to me in detail and asked if that was ok. it was ok because i knew what i was ordering, but why not just call it chana masala? there's no other chana masala on the menu so i don't know what the purpose is of calling it something different. the dum aloo is also not real dum aloo. dum aloo is supposed to be whole baby potatoes in a spicy gravy. the "hummus" was spicier than the aloo and the potatoes were not whole baby potatoes and also were not completely cooked to satisfaction - this dish was more like aloo matar makhani. everything was delicious, just mis-advertised, and really for seemingly no reason. i would still go back though!"

"We had not been here in several years but wanted a quick bite after a social event nearby. We sat near the bar and ordered and paid using the QR code at the table. The food was delivered quickly and we enjoyed our masala chai, kofta curry and chicken curry utapan. Portions were relatively generous and we boxed up the rest of our meals to take home. My one minor complaint was that our garlic naan did not taste very garlicky to me. Otherwise, another fine meal served quickly from a friendly staff."
"This is one of my most favorite spot in Cary for Indian/Pakistani cuisine...I have been here multiple times and this place never disappoints! This is my go to place for authentic Nihari, we went there specially for Nihari but also ended up trying some different items off the menu.My first time trying Chaat Papdi here and it reminded me of home (India) ...i have say, the chaat was too good...freshly made... crispy and tangy..absolutely loved itTheir Chicken 65 was a hit and an item highly recommended by my 6 year old!We also tried their Chicken Karahi, perfectly spiced and flavorful..The owners are very sweet and friendly... love the decor and ambience. This place truly never disappoints! If you're looking for authentic Indian/Pakistani food, you have to try this place!!!"
"***FOOD: 2.5 stars really. overall food was ok. Momo Dumplings were very good; free papadum- ok; saag paneer- was ok; lamb mango curry -ok; chicken tikka masala -ok; fried rice- requested no vegetables but ended up with vegetables- so that was a no go. Mango lassi- wasn't sweet enough. Naan- was very plain. Overall I have had better indian food. Also saw a giant ant / beetle / bug climbing up and down the wall of the booth next to us. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$***DÉCOR: weird mix with their glass crystal Versaillesque chandeliers & Home Depot outdoor patio lights, booths are a plus. ***SERVICE: server didn't speak English very well nor do I think she understood us hence the mix up with one of our dishes. Took a long time for food to be served."
"Good, solid Indian food in Chapel Hill. The spring dosa was a fantastic appetizer with a few different sauces for dipping. The lamb vindaloo had a decent amount of tender lamb with a great sauce. The chicken tikka masala was great as well. The garlic naan was good. The main area for improvement would be on the service. Our waiter was attentive early on but then was more difficult to get a hold of to ask for the check and some to go boxes. He gave a great recommendation for the spring dosa though. Overall, Cholanad is a solid restaurant and I will come back!"
"Zeera is a the definition of a 5 star restaurant. It's been a staple for my wife and I for the last two years, and I don't see that changing anytime in the near future. We've been to Zeera now a few times in person and also ordered from them via delivery at least 10 times. Not one bad experience!I always feel the need to shout out the people who go out of their way to provide a good experience for guests, and the workers here are gems of the hospitality industry. Absolutely incredible customer service from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out satisfied. The food? It's my absolute favorite Indian food not only in the area, but so far it's been the best I've had since moving to North Carolina period. It's just that good! And I also want to give them such huge credit for how fresh, hot and delicious their food always tastes when delivered. You know how sometimes you order delivery and it comes with either a missing item, cold or not up to standard of what you're used to getting in person? Not here. The quality is top notch and never fails to deliver. Verdict: Fuquay Varina's best Indian spot in my humble opinion. If you're looking for that perfect lunch or dinner spot and craving something spicy, look no further. You're in for a great experience with high quality food and customer service that lives up to the hype. Verdict: 5"
"I really enjoyed dining at Azitra. The service was attentive, kind and courteous. The ambiance is modern and upscale and Azitra truly offers a modern Indian cuisine dining experience in Brier Creek. The cocktails are excellent and the menu is unique. There is something for everyone to enjoy from seafood to briyani. My friend and fellow foodie extraordinaire suggested we check the restaurant out for dinner during the week. Upon arrival the restaurant was not crowded and few people were dining or seated at the bar. The staff were very attentive and polished. We were seated at a booth where I really enjoyed the white crocodile faux leather booths. Very posh. Indian food is one of my favorites, I was no stranger to the menu offerings but had a hard time deciding. My friend decided to try a few appetizers and we sampled each others with cocktails. We had the gobi Manchurian cauliflower, Kabob assorted skewers, scallops and garlic naan. We ordered martinis with the bubbles presentation. I ordered the lemon garden with vodka and lycheetini with Gin. Both excellent. Nick our waiter made it special for us with the bubbles gun. Unfortunately a few of the appetizers we had did not blow me away. My favorite being the scallops and garlic naan. The scallops were meaty, juicy and seared to perfection. Well done. For dessert we enjoyed the sampler but our favorite of the trio was the limoncello marscapone cake. Devine. Nick was our waiter and Ashish the Assistant Manager provided excellent service. Always checking in to offer a drink or answer a question. Nick was always willing to make a suggestion about a menu item or offer more to enjoy. I will absolutely be back to enjoy the service, cocktails and celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant is upscale, so you should expect the prices to reflect that. Plan ahead financially."
"We swung by Lime & Lemon for our dinner and I was very impressed. The food is tooooo delicious. We tried the pani puri, idli Sambar, plain dosa, basil and mint naan, garlic naan, chapati and mango and lime paneer curry. I can't believe a mango and lime curry would impress me so much. Not surprised that it is the restaurant's signature dish. The basil and mint naan was a flavor combo that was out of this world. This naan with the mango and lime paneer curry tasted divine. The ambience is very simple. The server was very sweet and friendly and offered us free rice kheer and pistachio kulfi because he messed up our order. Overall, great food and a nice lowkey place when you want to grab some casual dinner."
"Absolutely fantastic buffet- my family went here and loved it. Everyone thought the food was delicious and I ordered a mango lassi which was a great balance of sweetness as well. The staff was very friendly and came to check on us. The only thing I will say is it does get crowded so prepare for that. Overall fantastic!"
"Best Indian food I've ever had hands down! I don't say this lightly. There's a reason this place has so many positive reviews, it totally lives up to the hype! A friend and I came for dinner on Friday evening and made a reservation just in case. There were plenty of times available, but as we sat there we noticed it getting busier and busier so just to be safe I'd make a ressie. This is a popular shopping center in Chapel Hill. Parking - pretty easy, but since it can get crowded you might not get a spot right by LNL. Ambiance - the restaurant is absolutely beautiful! And super clean. The restrooms stood out to me, too, as particularly clean and private. There's a large dining room with a separate bar area. There are some "patio" tables but mainly just on the sidewalk. This would be the only area I'd suggest improvements, but physical limitations could be the issue. Service - amazing! Our waiter, Edwin, was wonderful. He gave great recommendations and was extremely attentive. Plus friendly and made our experience extra memorable. Food & drink - We each had an Old Fashioned and it was very tasty. At Edwin's recommendation, we both ordered the Mango Lime Chicken and a side of Garlic Naan. Divine! That slightly sweet, spicy, creamy, tangy sauce perfectly blankets the tender and juicy chicken. They marinate the chicken for 17 days we were told! The garlicky, buttery, pillowy naan complemented everything so well. Easily two meals. Prices - super affordable! Especially for the portion sizes. We polished off dinner with a (complimentary!) palate cleansing shot given by Edwin. It was really unique with almost a Christmassy flavor? Hard to explain so you just have to try for yourself! We will absolutely be back, and I hope to see you there!"
"Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We started with tray of 3 toppings for a very light cracker and also ordered vegetable samosas filled with potatoes and peas. Then had jasmine rice with our meals. Chicken Tikka masala was a huge change for me who typically loves to eat chicken curry. But I'd have this meal again.Aloo gobi with cauliflower and even spicy level 2 was a bit much for a newbie but delicious. Loved the garlic naan and best to eat it fresh! Good service, plenty to eat and delicious food!"

Another visit, STILL outstanding. Shout out to Doug, our server, who made the evening fun. Our group included a gluten, dairy, egg and cashew allergy. In addition to the menu denoting the GF and Dairy free items and where cashews could be excluded, Doug went the extra mile to check with the kitchen to know what to avoid that has eggs in it. (Turns out only a few menu items have eggs -- who knew??)Food every bit as good as last visit. Tried Sarson Ka Saag with chicken. The Panjabi winter recipe is a stew of mustard greens simmered with a delectable array of spices. I added large chunks of tender chicken. An excellent entree - and don't forget to dip the garlic naan in that sauce! This is such a cool place, with outstanding food and excellent service. Ya gotta go! Pro tip - there is a parking lot at the back of the building, enter on Ramseur St. Viceroy has a back door that you can enter from the parking lot. Saves a few steps and no more circling the block hoping for a space to open up.

A great place for fast casual dining! Parking is easy as it's a shared lot with other businesses. The menu is pretty extensive so there is something for everyone and various dietary needs. It didn't take long to order. I ended up choosing the pan seared catfish. I would estimate the food takes about 15-20 minutes. When the food arrived, I was surprised at the large portions. My entree cost $22 so this was a good deal to me. I am not a fan of spice at all. I can typically handle things that are mild like a 3 out of 10. This dish was definitely at least a 6. The rub on the fish was spicy and the rice was spicy as well. I ended up using a yogurt sauce to balance the heat. Despite the heat, the food was excellent. It was fresh, flavorful, and filling. This place is worth checking out if you're in the mood for Indian food!

Vimala was my beloved grandmother who passed away at a young age. While I was in North Carolina for work, I decided to venture out and explore nearby restaurants. That's when I came across a restaurant bearing her name. Stepping inside, I immediately sensed a shift in my energy. I chose to sit outdoors, beneath a gently whirling ceiling fan, surrounded by lush plants that emitted the delicate aroma of Sambar into the air.As I entered, I was warmly greeted by TJ, the waiter. He was polite and instructed me to place my order using a QR code, assuring me that he would deliver the food. While I perused the menu, he kindly offered me a refreshing mango lassi. I opted for a kids-sized meal consisting of picketed veggies, dal, and rice. However, I soon discovered that the "kids size" meant fewer onions and toppings. Nevertheless, the food provided immense comfort to my stomach. The apaam was my personal favorite, evoking a longing to reside in North Carolina and transporting me to an Ayurvedic retreat somewhere in India.Overall, the food at Vimala's restaurant was exceptional. It deviated from the typical Indian fare, offering a clean and comforting dining experience that left me wanting to return upon my next visit to the area.

I do love Kababish! I have been ordering from here for years and I have seen the place grow and improve. Their food has always been fantastic which is what kept me coming back. Fair warning, though, as with all good Indian places: don't say hot unless you mean it and don't say Indian hot unless you have mastered hot!! I did hot once-once- and was sweating as I ate my chicken tikka. It was glorious, but then that's me, apparently. I *did* go back down to medium after that. I'm just not ready for the big leaguesThe decor of the place has really become wonderful and they have outside seating which is nicely lit and would be a nice place to be in 10 of the 12 months in NC. Also every time I have been here the place has been spotless. If you are craving some lovely food and looking for a nice, tucked away spot you should swing by.

Their bhindi masala is fantastic! The flavors of the vegetables are great. I wasn't craving the creaminess of their korma during this visit, but wow! The okra were cooked well, onions were packed with flavor and nice and crunchy.Service was fast and good as usual. Ambiance is always nice, although I miss the way it looked before the remodel. Very classy feel tho.

I had a great meal with a group of friends here! The atmosphere is nice especially on a rainy evening. I had the yellow dal, garlic naan and mango lassi. Everything was delicious, and the rest of my group thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well!! Just a heads up that anywhere on Franklin St is going to be tricky for parking. Street parking can be difficult and limited so just look for signs for public lots (there are so many nearby) and you'll be fine.

As a theme of tonight, they were way too late serving food. I get that it's a new waitress but the cooks are in charge. We ordered multiple naan and they didn't come out as an appetizer. In fact, they didn't even come out until after the dinner, and then of the three was missing. In fact, the waitress then offered to bring it out free of charge, but it still showed up on the bill. it's good that kids meals came out first but we should have had something to eat also. Even the standard chips and sauces would be good, but they don't give you that here. It was supposed to come out with the naan but that never happened. So service was slow and scatterbrained. ambiance is eh - kinda open but tables are scattered in a few different places and a random bar in the corner. Food did not redeem my rating. The high point was the naan, fluffy and fresh. The sauces are pale imitations of actual Indian sauces. Extra hot sauce level is barely up to hot. My shrimp dish had a solid 7 shrimp in it but tails on with sauce - no way to get them out without getting dirty. In the end, even if I lived down here, nothing would bring me back here. I need to get what I ordered and I prefer it to be worth my money. Neither of those happened here unfortunately.

Whoo. Bring a big Wallet. And some iron clad tastebuds because you will feel the heat in both places. The staff is nice and attentive and I assume benefit from the high price tag due to their care for the diners. They definitely pay attention. Sort of white glove service.I do think the quality and quantity of the food has changed slightly. Not for the worst, but not exactly the most outrageously drop dead fantastice either. Each time I visit, I come away wishing for more. But as a regular, we still visit, but a little less due to the cost.Once I mentioned our dining companion, a stone cold, hard regular from years and years and years.... that it was her birthday.... (a big one). It was nice to see they joined in on the celebration. Thanking them for that.I think it is best for the budget to visit during lunch. The outdoor patio is nice, but if you have long legs...due to the design of the tables...lends to some uncomfortable dining.

"I'm updating my review to talk about the lunch buffet. In short, I would recommend it! It's about $15.I was literally in and out of the restaurant in 30 minutes, and that's what I wanted! I was by myself and I just wanted to eat some Indian food and then go about my day! On the Friday I went, they had: fruit, naan, white rice, chicken biryani, dal, goat or lamb, masala okra, roasted chicken, veggie pakoras, either butter chicken or chicken tikka masala (I forget which), and a dessert. I tried almost everything, and it was just as good as the regular food they serve. They kept refilling the dishes even at like 2:30 PM, which was a pleasant surprise. I especially liked the veggie pakoras and the chicken. You can tell that I liked them from my pictures, because I went back and got more. The one thing I missed was some whole wheat bread option (they only had regular naan)."
"Kadhai is a excellent Indian restaurant in my neighborhood. As someone who was raised by west indian grandparents, I enjoy my food spicy. I love that you can choose how spicy you want your dishes by intensity number. I went with a 4. That was the perfect amount of heat for me. The food here is flavorful and plated with perfection. I ordered lunch via Uber Eats. The food arrived fast and piping hot. The serving size was generous with plenty of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. I ordered vegetables samosas, Chicken Madras and Aloo Gobi. The Chicken Madras was my favorite. It really packed the heat ! Lots of fresh spices and pepper throughout the stew. This was delicious. The naan was complimentary with my order. They left it in the oven too long unfortunately and it was not the best charred. The basmati rice was cooked to perfection and all the flavors were just excellent. I will return to dine in for the lunch buffet."
"Atmosphere: We've only ordered takeout at Naan Stop, but the dining area seemed nice and clean. Service: Ordering to-go over the phone has been a breeze, and our food has been ready for pickup in ~20 minutes. Food: This time around, we ordered the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi. Both of the main dishes were good. While Butter Chicken might be a rather uninspiring dish to order, Naan Stop makes it a filling, guilty pleasure. Their Tikka Masala is consistently tasty, and both dishes deserve to be scooped up with their Garlic Naan. Overall: Naan Stop is a solid, accessible option for Indian food close to Duke's campus. However, their dishes are quite pricey especially given the portions. We'll likely order again as an occasional and convenient indulgence!"
"Lovely Indian restaurant. The place is spacious, casual yet comfortable. The service was excellent and very fast. The food was amazing. You have an option of mild,Medium, hot or very hot- choose wisely. The mild is still a little spicy!Every item was delicious. We had chicken 65- mild, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and mutter paneer. The entrees come with rice. We ordered naan too. The masala chai was small, but tasty! And enough to to fill your tastebuds.A definite must for Indian food in Cary"
"Great Indian cuisine. Another stop at this local spot. Friendly quick service. Patient in explaining the menu with attention paid to level of spice. It's a busy place with as many to go orders as those dining in. The tikki masala is my favorite. Beautiful creamy sauce with precisely the amount of spice I specified. Chicken chunks are a little chewy but still delicious. The sauce is perfect for dipping the excellent garlic-stuffed naan. Also had Boti kababs. Chucks of flavorfully spiced lamb grilled on a skewer with peppers and onions. The meat was a little over done so drier than I would prefer. Nevertheless, very very tasty. Also perfect for dipping in that masala sauce. Also tried chicken momo. These are steamed dumplings filled with spiced ground chicken. Along the lines of potstickers but with a unique curry-inspired taste.Recommend this spot. Delicious food in a low key atmosphere."
"It was my birthday and I wanted tk try something new! I've been a fab of southern Indian for awhile and since we were already in the Plaza grabbing some Chinese I figured why not.I ordered through Yelp via grubhub. When my husband went up to grab the order through the door, the guy was kind of a jerk since we didn't have an order number (grubhub name order) but he figured it out.Everything was pleasantly spicy and was exactly what I was expecting. If you like southern Indian (like dosas) I'd totally recommend tower Indian."
"Was traveling to NC and was craving some South Indian food . Got this place from Google and thought of visiting this . Location wise it was good . In Cary ! Lots of parking outside . Lots of seating inside and few chairs outside for dine in . Wasn't crowded when we went on a Friday afternoon. Let's come to the food : overall we felt that the food was very average . A South Indian food is mainly good when the Sambar and chutneys are good. Chutney was very very very average . Coconut smelled wierd. I asked them if they had tomato or any other spicy chutney and they didn't have it .. really ? A South Indian hotel without spicy chutney ?? Sambar also was average . Less salt .. dosa was good .. my son liked it . Uthappa was ok.. it was huge and couldn't even eat of it because the Sambar/chutney combo wasn't good . Thayir vadaj was cold . Wish it was soaked for more time . Vadai was still hard ! Taste was good. Overall a very average experience .. 2.5/5"
"Absolutely my favorite Indian food in the Triangle! I discovered Dharani Express last year and it's my go to restaurant when curry cravings hit. The food is so flavorful, spicy, and you'll come across whole spices while enjoying your dish. The restaurant isn't fancy but service is great and the food will have you coming back for more. My friend and I shared palak paneer, lamb vindaloo & Chicken Tikka Masala and we each had enough leftovers for another meal. Don't hesitate to check it out!"
"Came here with my spouse as we live close and we really enjoyed it! We started with two appetizers, the Gobhi Manchurian and the Samosa puffs on the bed of chickpeas. Both were good but we both agreed the Samosa/chickpea dish was the best. The flavors were super unique and we just really enjoyed it. I got the chicken tiki masala and my spouse got the butter chicken. We also sampled the butter naan, garlic naan, and chili garlic naan. Both entrees were good. I usually like butter chicken better but in this case I preferred tiki. I will say the protein serving size was a little disappointing, esp compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. But the flavors were great. The chili naan was SUPER SUPER spicy, so much so that neither of us could eat it unfortunately l. The other two were good!We also had some drinks. I ordered the mango martini and unfortunately was very disappointed. It tasted like a thick, thick mango purée mixed with sugar was put in a cocktail glass and that was it. I expected it to be more of a martini with a light mango purée. My spouse got a dirty martini, which was okay, but not great. Overall, loved the flavors in the apps and entrees. The ambiance was also really nice and clean looking. I'd probably skip out on drinks and definitely no to the chili naan."
"They have a poor system for pick up orders. I ordered via their online website @ 1pm. When I went to pick up @ 1:30pm for a promise time for 1:45pm they did not even have the ticket printed with my order. I was told I'd have to wait another 30 mins for my order. At this point I was ready to just cancel my order and go home at this point. Their solution was to call in and order and not use the online ordering. Why even have that as an option if it's unreliable. Not happy at all. I will say the food is good. I ordered my usual saag paneer, chicken tikki Marsala, and samosa. However my experience and customer service was not. I will not be back to this establishment. It was not worth my time or travel."
"Above average food and service! We both got tikki chicken masala and shared some garlic naan.It was really good and we were both satisfied. The service was outstanding!"
"Food was fresh Greeted with a smile. Excellent service The place was very clean. I highly recommend"
"I had heard about the new Indian restaurant Bazil and finally decided to try it out. It was three of us so we ordered a bunch of stuff and shared. Lamb Seekh Kabab: this was probably one of the best lamb seekh kababs I've had in the area. The lamb was juicy and was seasoned perfectly. Definitely recommend it. Soya Chaap: I was skeptical about this one but it was actually very good. The combination of the veggies and the sweet and sour sauce was really good. Dal Makhani: You can never go wrong with Dal Makhani. They made it well with the right about to spices and cream. Shrimp Tikka Masala: You can get this with any protein you like. We chose to get shrimp just to switch things up a little. The shrimp was cooked well and the gravy was thick and creamy. Dhaba Style Chicken: This was on the chef's special menu. This is probably the best dish out of all. The chicken was fall of the bone tender and the variety of spices used in this dish made it the star of the night. Definitely recommend getting!Pistachio and Paan Kulfi: These was pretty standard and can be skipped."
"Came here on a Wednesday evening at 6:30. It was not busy when I arrived and I was quickly seated. They brought menus and a pitcher of water while I waited for my friend to arrive. My friend (who is Indian) introduced to this cuisine over a decade ago...Her and her mother have never made me a dish I didn't like but I always struggle with what to order when I go out to eat at an Indian restuarant. I've made it a point to try something different every time we go to a new one.I got the veg samosas and masala dosa. The samosas because they're my absolute favorite (seriously, who doesn't like fried pastries stuffed with spicy flavorful mashed potatoes!) and the masala dosa because of all of the lovely recommendations on yelp! The dosa is basically a huge crepe that you tear and eat with your hands. It comes with four dipping "sauces" which are some spicy potatoes, lentil dal, a creamy yogurt based sauce, and a tomato sauce. My friend ordered the kadai paneer and some roti. They refer to paneer as cottage cheese but it's not American cottage cheese. It's a non-melting soft cheese about the consistency of tofu. The samosas came out first and her paneer and my dosa came out shortly after. We were so busy talking and sharing the samosas that we didn't realize that they had brought us an incorrect paneer until they brought us the correct one! They told us to keep both and I was so excited to be able to try TWO more new dishes. The kadai paneer was tomato based but the shaahi paneer (which we didn't order) was cream based. The kadai was tasty but I LOVED the shaahi (my friend was generous and let me take it home.) We had so much food. The dosa was HUGE and the paneers each came with a bowl of rice and naan. We ended up demolishing the samosas, dosa, and roti but took most of the paneer (with rice and naan) home. The waitstaff was very attentive and polite. The owner even came over to make sure everything was going well. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean.I was very, very happy with my experience here I think I've found my new favorite Indian restuarant!!!"
"Yummy! Is the first word that comes to my head whenever I think if Mirchi's. It is my new favorite place for Indian food. The flavor and wholeness of the curries is always spot on and chicken and lamb are always soft, tender and cooked for perfection. The ambience is casual but elegant and the service is always impressive. I am already looking forward to the next time I get to visit Mirchi's!"
"Indian Monsoon is located in Downtown Durham and close enough to dine at before a show at DPAC.The website is a little confusing with opening times as it has both 11am and 12pm in different areas on the website. The website also takes reservations for 11am so that is when we went. The workers arrived at 10:59am so there was some delay before we were seated. But once we were seated the service was friendly and the food came out fast. The restaurant is open and clean. It has a nice flow. I had ordered the goat korma not knowing about the goat bones. So when I was unsure how to go about eating it they switched it to lamb. We also ordered garlic naan. My dish had a really nice flavor. I didn't expect my meal to be changed. I just wanted to know how to eat it as I hadn't eaten goat before. The lamb was good. This is definitely on my return list to dine again when in Durham."
"My friend and I feasted like queens this evening! We just finished walking 5 miles and totally over ordered (yay leftovers!!). We shared the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, saag paneer and okra. OMG the okra was outstanding! It was still slightly crisp and had roasted onions. The butter chicken came second, saag and chicken tikka third and fourth. The garlic naan could use more ghee and garlic but the naan itself was lovely. We split the leftovers and i have enough for 2 more meals. Lovely service and delicious food. We're happy ladies!"
"When I tell yall I have been CRAVING Indian food! This place hit the spot. First walking into the establishment, it is such a beautiful setting with the tables and the pretty light fixtures and it is very clean. Our waitress was very helpful explaining certain ingredients and dishes to us. My friend got mango Lassi and I tried it. Omg it was delicious. It pretty tasted like a mango smoothie but smoother with more of a yogurt consistency. It is a must get if you go to an Indian restaurant. Only down side is that it was $4 for the size glass it was in. We ordered lamb samosas, butter chicken, goat biryani and garlic Naan. The lamb samosas were a little dry but the seasoning was flavorful and the sauce it came with was tangy and definitely helped the dryness of the meat. I'd still get it again because it was that good and meaty. They did not skimp out! The butter chicken was chefs kiss I just wish they gave more chicken ! It literally was a bowl full of sauce and maybe like 6 pieces of chicken. We need more chicken! The butter sauce was creamy, perfect amount of spicy for me and the chicken wasn't overcooked. With the garlic Naan and the biryani it was so amazing. For the amount of chicken we got though, it wasn't worth $17. Now the star of the night, I believe was the goat biryani. The spices of the rice with the goat meat just melted in my mouth and it paired so perfectly with the garlic Naan. Now I mixed mine with the butter sauce and I just think I can't have one without the other now. It was everything I hoped it would be. The Naan was thin, fluffy and soft and the perfect scoop for my food. I don't know much I ate, but to have a cheat meal, this was heaven. I'd definitely check them out if you're in Durham off 15 501."
"My very favorite place for Indian food . A good selection of vegan/vegetarian options and our favorite place for vindaloo and makhni. Very kind family who runs it as well. We come at least once a month at a minimum."
"I've lived close by for a few months and always drive past this place but never went until today for lunch. First impression was "this place looks shady" You enter through the door and see two doors which are covered by curtains. And you realize quickly that you have to go down the basement to get to the restaurant. But upon entering it, it turns out they have an all you can eat lunch buffet with chicken tikka masala, basmati rice and all the fixins. The options are not very numerous but they also have a couple desserts to top it all off. Best of all, they give you bottled water and the very best of everything else is the price. For $9/person for pretty much the same thing you'd expect from any other all you can eat Indian buffet this place takes the cake."
"We came on an early Sunday evening and when we sat down, we were the only patrons in the entire establishment and the man who seated us was on the phone. It is tucked away in a strip mall and does not offer much in the way of ambience as it is a large room. We did not care for the complimentary chips. The samosas had a good crisp but we didn't care for the filling and the naan was a little too crispy. The chicken tika masala and chicken Momo was excellent, however, so we would come back for those."
"The service was impeccable! Our waitress was impeccable!!! Chimney Indian Kitchen + Bar gave us authentic flavour, mouth watering, phenomenal food, and drinks! Kudos to all the staff from our waitress who greeted us with a welcoming smile even if it was 20 mins before closing the kitchen. The chef who made our food fresh and delicious! Our drinks are delicious too. They mean business! This restaurant is awesome! This is by far the most delicious Indian food I've tasted in the Chapel Hill area.We came across the Chimney Indian Kitchen + Bar that has a good ambiance and a very nice restaurant. They gave us the experience and food that we were craving for a while. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended!"
"Nukkad is the best indian restaurant in Cary, NC. Kids love their paneer makhani and pav bhaji. We love all the variety of chaats/snack menu. The samosa chaat is most amazing. I particularly love their manchurian fried rice and veggie biryani. While the ambiance is basic, no frills and service can be slow especially it tends to be full, we often order takeout/delivery because we love the food so much."
