Chandra J. "Name is a beautiful sensory experience. From the time you walk in until the time you leave, you are taken away from Durham and into a tranquil garden of so many colors, scents, and tastes. I did not want to leave as it was absolutely amazing to experience! My coworkers and I met for a birthday and made a reservation. We had some difficulty finding the table, but the staff were very nice and helped us. We sat outside under an awning and ordered via a QR code on the table. Next to the QR code was a red flag that we could put up if we needed assistance. I decided to order the beef gimbap, which was delicious! I like that the roll came stuffed with the beef, carrots, and onions. I paired it with their mix of sauces. My favorite was their spicy aioli and house sauce. I got to try the shrimp gimbap, which was also delicious. The food did take a while to come out, but the servers were nice and let us know that there was a backup. It was worth the wait!I would love to come back and try one of their rice bowls as well as their kombucha that is on tap. The atmosphere alone would bring me back."

Vanessa H. "Had a great meal at Tandem! My friend and I treated ourselves to a nice dinner here on a Sunday night. I made a reservation for 6:30pm for 2, but I don't think it was needed since the restaurant had little people when we got there. The interior inside is very industrial, with lots of wooden features (like the floor, chairs, tabletops) and string lights hanging from the ceiling. The walls were brick, and it had great big industrial windows which provided great natural lighting. The service was fine, but nothing over the top.I ordered the 72 hour short rib, and my friend got the salmon. It was delicious. It came in a Le Creuset pot with mashed potatoes and assorted veggies on the side. Stunning presentation, and might I say, those pots are expensive, and they have multiple of them. But I guess it was worth the investment because it looked really nice. The beef was super juicy and tender. High quality melt-in-your-mouth beef. And they don't shy away from the portion. It looked like a fat square block. But it was genuinely glistening in the light. The mashed potatoes were just alright for me. They had a strong flavor that I can't pinpoint - maybe too much cheese? They also put mint on the mashed potatoes and beef, which was quite a surprise, but I don't think I prefer it. The veggies were a nice touch with the beef. Overall, great experience and amazing food. I definitely would come back for another nice dinner!"

Breyana D. "Love this spot! It's conveniently located near Iron Works and other local businesses. There's plenty of easy and free parking. The menu includes vegan and vegetarian options as well. My favorite option is the falafel burger which includes pickles, pickled onions, lettuce, and tzatziki. It's always fresh and flavorful!! It doesn't come with a side but there are some available a la carte. They also have amazing baked goods and homemade sodas/seltzers. The vibe in very relaxed as you seat yourself and there are tables indoors and outdoors. The service is always quick. Definitely a spot I plan to frequent again soon!"

Tim C. "I came for lunch on a weekday and ordered some tacos: Carne Asada Tacos and Birria Con Mole Tacos. Both were good, packed with flavors and topped with a decent amount of meat and toppings. The chips and salsa that came with the meal were also quite tasty. The service was prompt and friendly, the space is clean, and there is a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a bit tricky since the restaurant is in a shopping center which can get busy during meal times. The price point is a little higher than I would have expected, but the food is solid."

Jake P. "Great spot for appetizers/dinner and craft beers. I was really impressed with their selection of beers on tap and in bottles/cans. We had a sour, ipa, and stout that were all above average. For the food...my friend and I both tried to order the Mac n cheese hot chicken. The chef (maybe part owner) insisted we try one hot chicken poutine. We took her advice and ordered one of each and agreed to share. They were both delicious! The chicken was well cooked and had a nice spice, but not too much. It was great on both, but I have to admit the poutine was best. I'm glad she talked us into it."

Sahib G. "I had heard about the new Indian restaurant Bazil and finally decided to try it out. It was three of us so we ordered a bunch of stuff and shared. Lamb Seekh Kabab: this was probably one of the best lamb seekh kababs I've had in the area. The lamb was juicy and was seasoned perfectly. Definitely recommend it. Soya Chaap: I was skeptical about this one but it was actually very good. The combination of the veggies and the sweet and sour sauce was really good. Dal Makhani: You can never go wrong with Dal Makhani. They made it well with the right about to spices and cream. Shrimp Tikka Masala: You can get this with any protein you like. We chose to get shrimp just to switch things up a little. The shrimp was cooked well and the gravy was thick and creamy. Dhaba Style Chicken: This was on the chef's special menu. This is probably the best dish out of all. The chicken was fall of the bone tender and the variety of spices used in this dish made it the star of the night. Definitely recommend getting!Pistachio and Paan Kulfi: These was pretty standard and can be skipped."

Mike O. "We decided to venture out to Mebane based on some great reviews from Yelp and some other investigations. Bright Penny Brewing was our main destination for coming to Mebane and we weren't disappointed with the stop. The brewery has over 20 beers on tap and after tasting a few both my wife and I decided on the Chocolate Covered Pistachio, according to the website (Imperial Stout brewed with over 50 pounds of real pistachio and 25 pounds of Dutch cocoa powder.) and according to my tastebuds WOW, frickin' awesome...! We also ordered a flight of deviled eggs, something that Bright Penny is known for and you get three choices with six half total. All were excellent, but our favorite we thought was Doreen's which was topped with dill weed, dill relish, and paprika, but Harriet's came in a close second. I think no matter what you choose you will be happy. Now, for the main we ordered the Sweet & Salty pizza (sort of like me and my wife...I will not say who is which), this is the description from the website again (Garlic oil base, topped with shaved prosciutto, sliced black mission figs, and goat cheese, finished with fresh arugula and balsamic glaze). I do this so you will know what was on the pizza. Okay, Bright Penny, there is WAY TOO MUCH GOAT CHEESE, you need to either dial it back or increase the fig or my suggestion would be to add a caramelized onion to the pizza to balance out the cheese. My wife thought a cream base would be better.A couple who sat next to us ordered the same pizza and on our way out I asked them what they thought of the pizza and they said the same thing. So, please take note, it was good but could be over-the-top good. My wife and I both agreed we would come back because this place is a gem."

I wish I could take them with me to Robertson's, my fave burger spot in town. If you come to Archways, you must get the beer onions on your burger. I had the double bacon. I only ate half. The other half I warmed in the oven and it still tasted great."

Add in friendly bartenders who will let us sample away to ensure we liked the pint we'd pick.A for ambiance, selection, and experience.Though we did find out we were just lucky enough to visit on $4 pint January-this was not a regular thing, but with the variety and quality of brews I would pay normal pint prices to grab a drink and hang out.The place had ample seating with options for low top tables, bar seating, or couches- with a large tv playing local sports and varying event nights. Excellent must-visit."

Tracy H. "Which do you think takes longer to cook? A well done Mondo burger or a Cesar salad with salmon (cooked medium? Would you anticipate your husband damn near finishing his burger before the salad and fries (sold separately) makes it to the table more than 10 min later? So why the 3 stars? Because the food was delicious. Point. Blank. Period. BUT, one person's order should not come to the table more than 10 min before the rest of the order. And when I went to check on it, I was told "they're working on it now". Salmon and lettuce. Here on a quick weekend trip so my husband can run the chapel hill 10 miler + 4 miler tomorrow."

Seth K. "This review is a repeat of what I posted on our local foodie Facebook page, don't judge me.Went to Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ- Fayetteville, NC today around 3 today. Got a chili dog and the BBQ taco variety plate (I don't remember what it was called) to go.I waited an hour to eat the chili dog. It was a good solid chili dog, the dog itself was delicious, the chili and bread was ok, but that's probably b/c I let it get cold.Fast forward to about 30 minutes ago when I got to eat these tacos sent from God himself. I didn't get to heat them up... but the meat was that of a grass fed unicorn fawn, that was fathered by a mysterious hybrid chicken-cow-pig. That baby had to have only drank butter, bathed in BBQ sauce, and slept in a spice rack it's few years of life. The fresh diced jalapeños were a delightful surprise and whatever the sauce was (I'm guessing a siracha sour cream of some kind) had to be made from the milk of that baby unicorns mom. 12 outta 10, going to go back and learn the name of this dish by ordering it at least 10 more times and test out that beer wall."

I also grabbed two new IPAs to try at home. We definitely felt the vibes of the laid-back atmosphere. This spot is worth checking out, cheers!"
