"We have been going to crafted in Greensboro for years and had no idea a location had opened up in Mebane! We were finishing some shopping at the outlets and saw this as an option nearby for dinner and knew we had to stop. Started with the queso and chips which are always good. You can get both corn and flour tortilla chips which is a nice change from other restaurants. For the main I got my go-to's the Big Truck and the Honky Tonk tacos with a side of fries. The big truck is a pulled pork mac and cheese taco, but the flavor combo is top tier. Always have and always will be one of my favorites. I also got the Honky Tonk, which is a Nashville hot chicken taco. I love the flavor on this taco because it's the perfect level of spice but still enjoyable. We will definitely be stopping back in when in the area from now on!"
"W.E.L.D. Wine & Beer is a newer spot in the Cary area that serves craft beer and wine. My husband and I stopped in to grab a few drinks before heading to dinner and had a fun time. The space was nice, they have TVs so we were able to catch a soccer game and a few of the big windows overlook Lochmere Golf Club. If you want beer to take home they have a small selection that is available to purchase. Cheers!"

"I am a bit bias but house of hops is amazing. My neighbor owns it and as a result we're always heading over when we need to stock up on beer. Doesn't matter if it's just a six pack for ourselves or more for a party Keith always has what we're in the mood for. I love this og location and there are a rotating selection f food trucks weekly as well. Highly recommend if you haven't already checked out house of hops!"
"Love it here! Always a great time, delicious beers, and attentive staff. This location is adorable."
"The Glass Jug Beer Lab has opened a taproom in Downtown Durham. The spot was really cute, you can sit inside or outside. My husband had a pint of equinox & solstice (a saison) and I did a flight. You get 4 beers in a flight, I chose the opacity (hazy IPA), transparency (American IPA), my friend wilson (NEIPA) and apricot pomegranate pi (sour). My favorite was the opacity. Cheers!"
"Definitely a vibe! This spot is 100% geared towards adults who want a more lively night out, they don't even let children in. Which, even though I have a young child, it is kind of refreshing and I'm here for it. It is a great spot to grab a drink when the weather is nice, but it does get loud. So not ideal if you are really trying to have a convo. We kept having to hunt our server down and had to wait an incredibly long time to order any food or get another drink. The food options are limited so this is more of a spot to grab a drink and app before you head out. Could have just been an off night service wise. This place is a bit tricky to find. You literally walk through the downstairs restaurant, Sports and Social, to the back deck of elevators and head to the roof. Parking is easy at Fenton though, always plenty of spots to be had."
"Pretty cool addition to downtown. My husband and I went in for a super early dinner on a Wednesday and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I love the interior vibe, it's cozy, trendy, and thought out. They have a corner filled with board games and all sorts of great seating areas. Folks did sit at the bar and it got pretty loud. The sound isn't the best in there, but since it is a cocktail bar that is kind of to be expected. My husband loved the peach old fashioned and I went with wine. The food is the fanciest bar food you've ever had-- totally up my alley! We started off with the tailgate dip, the menu said ground beef, but it was actually tasty brisket mixed in there. They even have homemade tortilla chips which were tasty. We also got the brisket hot dog, bougiest bologna sandwich you will ever eat, and dessert. The hot dog was great and reasonably priced at $8. The bologna was literally on a homemade focaccia, open faced. Delicious! The only thing I'd skip next time was the dessert. We got to the pumpkin roll and it was good, but for $9 it felt over priced. They have quite a few tables outside which is a plus as well. A great addition to downtown!"
"Finally had the chance to try Hoppy House and it did not disappoint. There was an overwhelming amount of options here. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. I tried mojito and it was decent. How it works: one obtains a wristband and scans it to get pours. Paying only what is poured. A nice hang-out spot with plenty of seating and games. I do recommend and will give it another try someday in the future."
"This was a fun spot to grab a beer at. There is a small amount of seating available both inside and outside. They had a good selection of beer on draft so we stayed for 2 rounds. If you want beer for home, they have a small selection to chose from."
"Too many kids, I did not enjoy sipping my beer and getting rammed with a tricycle. I really liked the beer so that was unfortunate. I've been to the restaurant several times so it was cool to finally check out the brewery. It was also too hot, the cooling fans did not cool it enough so that was also a bummer."
"This taproom was a fun time but it was busy because they had a dog rescue event. They had a good mix of beer on tap so we grabbed a round and sat outside. I hope to check out more of the inside during my next visit. Cheers!"
"Great spot for appetizers/dinner and craft beers. I was really impressed with their selection of beers on tap and in bottles/cans. We had a sour, ipa, and stout that were all above average. For the food...my friend and I both tried to order the Mac n cheese hot chicken. The chef (maybe part owner) insisted we try one hot chicken poutine. We took her advice and ordered one of each and agreed to share. They were both delicious! The chicken was well cooked and had a nice spice, but not too much. It was great on both, but I have to admit the poutine was best. I'm glad she talked us into it."

Stopped by for lunch and this place is super cute. Parking was cool and the staff were welcoming and nice. We had water and ordered our food. You can get any of their tacos as a salad or bowl for only $1 extra. I decided to get the bowl with tuna. The tuna was cooked perfectly and the bowl was very hearty. I wished my bowl had more sauce. The salsa was very fresh and full of bold flavors! I'll come back to try more of their items.

So can we talk about a selection?!? A wall covered in shelves of beer and they have a refrigerated section filled with possibilities!! (Wishing I got pictures right now, but all the reason to check it out!!)I had this grape flavored beer, it was like welches grape juice, amazing! I also had a pineapple cider, I love them!Open seating inside and out, outside had fire pits going! Awesome vibes, you can bring your dog too!!

We stopped in literally during their soft opening on a Friday. We had read good things about their beers and heard they are famous for sours and stouts, even though it seemed the only had two stouts on tap that night. We recognized one of the bartenders from another establishment, got two beers, and drank them in their outdoor patio area. The vibe is fresh and funky, with neon alien and monster themes. Definitely going for a hip vibe. Durham has lots of breweries with different offerings and vibes, so it's good to have options. We might be by next time we're in the area, but we actually prefer a little more relaxed and chill vibe.

I've been a fan of the Glass Jug location at 54 and 55 (when something isn't in downtown Durm, it's probably at 54 and 55) for years so I was excited to check out the downtown location. Admittedly, this was my first outing since COVID restrictions were rolled back so I was a little apprehensive. No surprise and similar to the OG location, I was put at ease as soon as I walked through the door. Plenty of space to spread out, friendly staff, a nice outdoor area, a great selection of beers, and reasonable prices. I've got a relatively short list of downtown watering holes that are 1) friendly; 2) not overly stuffy or expensive; and 3) inviting. The Glass Jug Beer Lab has made the cut.

When the weather is nice this is the perfect place to hang out. Very relaxed vibe and great cocktails. I had the Aqua de Valencia. Mediterranean tapas are delicious, too!

Libations 317 is in the space previously occupied by The Borough. We dined in for dinner and I started off with a glass of sangria and the spinach dip with chips. Next it was the chicken salad sandwich for me and the brisket melt for my husband. For sides we split the broccoli salad and bacon cheddar roasted potatoes. The food and service were both really good, I can't wait to return and try their brunch menu.

We came here for trivia on Thursdays. It is a cool place and one of those places where you get a wristband and you pay by the ounce that you drink. They have beer, wine and premixed cocktails on tap and also have whiskey. They also have soft drinks and canned craft beers that you can purchase as well. They have pretty typical bar food menu items that were, really good. Our group tried a pizza, the pretzel bites, garlic bread, nachos, and mac and cheese bites. The pretzel and mac and cheese bites were my favorite. Trivia was fun but it was a little hard to hear unfortunately. The acoustics or microphone or both were a bit challenging, but fun nonetheless! Will definitely return!

"Had a great time visiting this cozy place on Sunday. Bartenders are friendly and place has a great, laidback vibe. Lots of tables for two. Good selection of beer and wine, both draft and can. Just wish it was closer to my house--I'd be a frequent visitor!"
"This spot is so cool. It was one of the first 'drive-thru' banks in Raleigh and now it's Vault Craft Beer! There is a good mix of beer on tap, depending on the beer you can get a 10oz, 12oz or 16oz pour. There is seating available both inside and out. On one side it's bench seating for larger parties and on the other side there are tables for smaller groups. Before you leave, you can check out the cooler section for beer to take home. It is worth checking out if you are in the area."
"This sandwich shop in Raleigh's Ironworks delivers just what it should. Really good sandwiches. Order at the counter. Get a number and they will bring it to you. Took a little while for the five of us to get our orders, but they were worth the wait. I loved the Turkey Kimchi Reuben. Others enjoyed one of the katsu (fried chicken) ones and a steak sandwich. The Italian one couldn't have had more meat piled on it. And folks liked their buffalo cauliflower as well. (spicy). Not inexpensive, but not out of range either for the level of quality."
"This place opened in October of this year, and seems to have scratched an inched, or at least found a niche. This place is about the drink, and almost solely about the drink. The front is basically a wine and beer shop, the back is a bar, with a very limited amount of nibbles. The bar area is small, and when crowded, it is noisy. There is a small area with covered chairs and a couch, the rest of the seating is high, communal tables and plastic stools - not a formula for a comfortable sit & sip. There is a good limited variety of both beer and wine choices on any given day, maybe 6 or 8 of each. The wine pours are decent, the pricing about $5 a glass. The beers are heavy on the craft beers, IPA, and more fad brews. There was a great Belgian Ale - Bavik Premium Ale at $5 a pour. Not a bad place for a drink or two, not a long term commit for an evening, and rather noisy. Service is generally good, but you have to go to the bar for your drink, and when it gets busy, it is more than a bit of a zoo. Early in, a few brews, and then out is the ticket here."
"This a new location. Here in nightdale. My daughter ordered the pineapple ball and I just ordered a regular ball. The food was fresh flavourful.Delicious all the staff were super friendly. The speed of service was excellent and the overall cost point was pretty much in line.I hope this place makes up"
"It's another Gizmo location! There is no outdoor space but the inside is way more spacious compared to their Raleigh location. The service was a little slow but friendly. Most beers come in a 4oz, 10oz or 16oz pour. I tried the Headlights on the Highway and Heavy is the Head, both were good but not my favorites. My husband tried the Black Stiletto Stout (Nitro) and it was just okay, it wasn't a true nitro. My favorite beers from here are the Fake News NE IPA and White IPA. Overall, it was a fun spot to grab a few beers and watch the UNC vs State basketball game."
"This Bottle Rev is in the perfect location to grab dinner (we did Gonza) and ice cream in addition to your beer. You are not allowed inside during COVID-19 except to quickly place your order at the entrance. The draft list is posted on the window and is also available on their website. If you are looking to pick up cans to go, you can place your order online for pickup or delivery (delivery is available on Wednesday or Sunday). There are picnic tables available outside or you can bring your own lawn chairs (I guess? others were doing it and it seemed spacious)."
"The live jazz on Mondays is amazing, my friends and I love coming after class for the music and mulled wine. The gumbo was pretty good, too. They put goat cheese in it which is pretty unique, but still tasted hearty and savory. Excited to come back again for the jazz and wine!"
"This place has been around since I was a kid and there's a reason why it's still here as an adult. As Cary's local Irish pub, Doherty's serves up the Irish classics in a very family friendly environment. The food here is very good, while maintaining a toned down bar setting. It can get a bit rowdy, but the dining room is set up where the noise is controlled so that any sort of customer can have their desired experience. I'll come to Doherty's whenever I want a good plate of fish and chips. They seriously do this dish justice here. The fish is always super fresh, battered to perfection, and flakey. Eating it by itself does the trick, and adding the tartar sauce or malt vinegar only makes it better. It's served with french fries and green beans. The fries are typically pretty good, seasoned and crispy. I love the addition of a green on the plate, it makes it feel less heavy. They put a ton of garlic in the green beans, I think it's a good touch. While the fish and chips remains at the top of Doherty's pyramid, there are certainly some decent dishes under it. The Shepard's pie is decent, although at some point it does start to get heavy. Their corned beef dish is alright, they do the corned beef super well. The vegetables that are paired with it are unseasoned and taste like nothing. The boxty's are the go-to vegetarian option and are actually pretty good! It is like an Irish crepe, served with potato croquettes. I think it's a great vegetarian option. I think a great thing about Doherty's is that it's a very communal restaurant that serves many different purposes. They do trivia/bingo nights, they're popular during sporting events and their brunch is super popular. No matter the time of day or year, Doherty's will have something going and is truly here to serve the local area. Hoping they can stay around as I continue to get older!"
"I've passed by this place a few times when heading to kickball and have been wanting to check it out so we stopped in to grab a beer today. There is a note on the door that masks are required when entering and when you are not at your table during COVID-19. I was a little turned off to see that the bartender was not wearing one though. You can choose a beer from the draft list or in the cooler section (there is a $1.50 corkage fee). If you want beer for home, there is a small selection to choose from. I wanted to sit outside since it was smaller inside. We got to watch planes pass by as they were arriving at RDU so that was exciting!"
"We stopped in here for a bite to eat after a show a the DPAC and had a good time. There is a small cooler with options if you do not see a draft option that you want to order. It was a cider for my mom and an IPA for me. They offer a good selection of boozy and non-alcoholic options. We split the whipped feta special and turkey melt sandwich with chips. Both were really good and the vibe here was chill."
"Local 919 is open in the space previously occupied by Triangle Wine. There is not much that has changed, they still have a good selection of beer and wine. If you re in the area, check this spot out. Cheers!"
"We dined at The Parkway Tavern for dinner. I ordered a beer and the BLT with a slice of pepper jack cheese and my husband ordered the breakfast burger with pesto pasta salad. The service was really good but the food was just okay. If you want bar food around the area, check it out."
"I discovered this bottle shop thanks to a yelp search. They have 6 beers on tap and a cooler section. It is smaller and so is the bottle selection but they still had some good choices. The service wasn't the friendliest when we walked in so I was a tad turned off by that."
"Had a great meal at Tandem! My friend and I treated ourselves to a nice dinner here on a Sunday night. I made a reservation for 6:30pm for 2, but I don't think it was needed since the restaurant had little people when we got there. The interior inside is very industrial, with lots of wooden features (like the floor, chairs, tabletops) and string lights hanging from the ceiling. The walls were brick, and it had great big industrial windows which provided great natural lighting. The service was fine, but nothing over the top.I ordered the 72 hour short rib, and my friend got the salmon. It was delicious. It came in a Le Creuset pot with mashed potatoes and assorted veggies on the side. Stunning presentation, and might I say, those pots are expensive, and they have multiple of them. But I guess it was worth the investment because it looked really nice. The beef was super juicy and tender. High quality melt-in-your-mouth beef. And they don't shy away from the portion. It looked like a fat square block. But it was genuinely glistening in the light. The mashed potatoes were just alright for me. They had a strong flavor that I can't pinpoint - maybe too much cheese? They also put mint on the mashed potatoes and beef, which was quite a surprise, but I don't think I prefer it. The veggies were a nice touch with the beef. Overall, great experience and amazing food. I definitely would come back for another nice dinner!"
"Tried the Gatsby's food truck that was located outside of their restaurant. 3/5 stars based on portion size and flavor. Both for $15 each. I think the price could be better for what is being served."
"I came with 5 other people and we sat ourselves. There weren't any paper menus, they are on QR codes in the tables.First of all, they have a great variety of beer on tap. I didn't expect to see Mexican Cake on draft, but there it was, I hadn't seen that since I visited South Carolina a few years ago. Food wise, the fresh cut fries were really good. One friend had the French dip, one of his faves. My friends got the fried chicken nachos, I did get a few bites in and none of us expected what we got. there were so many levels of spice, between the jalapenos, hot honey, and the chicken was so spicy! And I like heat well enough, but we were coughing! Apparently they make their own dry rub, but this batch was way too hot. I almost started eating the jalapenos to cool my mouth down.Service was prompt enough. The location is solid in Wake Park, kind of a lesser known area but still centrally located."
"Very fun spot for drinks, eats (BYOF), and music. Outside of their own selection, their RTP location has a large variety of drinks from other local breweries. Very large back patio area with tables and events. Very nice vibe there overall, the staff and patrons are friendly and inviting. *murals in the back are very dope!"
"Who doesn't love a brewery? I enjoy their beer options, they have a food truck most days, and their out doors space is lovely. It is family friendly which I love! Definitely recommend."
"Best bar by far not on Franklin St to watch a game. The owners are hands on and the service is awesome. Huge beer and cider selection. Soft pretzel was perfect; wings had great flavor and are not fried; and flat bread was delicious. Huge thumbs up!"
"This review is a repeat of what I posted on our local foodie Facebook page, don't judge me.Went to Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ- Fayetteville, NC today around 3 today. Got a chili dog and the BBQ taco variety plate (I don't remember what it was called) to go.I waited an hour to eat the chili dog. It was a good solid chili dog, the dog itself was delicious, the chili and bread was ok, but that's probably b/c I let it get cold.Fast forward to about 30 minutes ago when I got to eat these tacos sent from God himself. I didn't get to heat them up... but the meat was that of a grass fed unicorn fawn, that was fathered by a mysterious hybrid chicken-cow-pig. That baby had to have only drank butter, bathed in BBQ sauce, and slept in a spice rack it's few years of life. The fresh diced jalapeños were a delightful surprise and whatever the sauce was (I'm guessing a siracha sour cream of some kind) had to be made from the milk of that baby unicorns mom. 12 outta 10, going to go back and learn the name of this dish by ordering it at least 10 more times and test out that beer wall."
"Sometimes you don't know exactly what you want, but you know what you don't want. These are some steep judgement calls for someone else to make for you, but I gave the staff at Tasty Beverage Company some perimeters and six of their selections later I walked out with some tasty local beers. The selection is amazing and the staff obviously understands what you're looking for with even the most basic beer describing vocabulary. Okay I know my way around a bottle shop, but I had like 5 minutes and they read me pretty well. Next time in Raleigh this might be my first stop."
"The Corner Biergarten is a great place to grab a few beers and play games! Cornhole, darts, board games, shuffleboard and bumper pool are all available to play. With twenty beers on tap, they have a good selection that is competitively priced. Check out their website or facebook page to see what is currently on tap. Only complaint is that the bottle selection is smaller and did not have prices but this spot is newer so maybe that will change. Hungry? Grab food from Wingin' It which is located a few doors down. Friendly staff, dog friendly and, of course, beer make this place a chill spot if you are looking to get out and about in the area."
