"Food was so good ! I had a beautiful margarita and used my Yelp coupon for free queso. I had the tortilla appetizer and it was enough for a full mealThe waitstaff were excellent. I have never been seated and received my food so quickly. What a great restaurant!! A little noisy but you can also sit outside"
"For years I had thought I found the pickiest eater I have ever met within my own family, until now. So, her being a huge fan of Mexican food, I decided to bring her to Gonza's and her reaction reaffirmed my claim that Gonza is among the very best Mexican restaurants in NC. Gonza is still growing, rightfully so, and they will always have a page in my little acceptable dining book.Cheers!"
"I have visited Gallo Pelon that is located above Centro (it is a must visit) so I was excited to check out Centro on this most recent visit. We started off with cocktails, it was one of the drink specials for my husband and the aniversario followed by the picosita (with half of the heat) for me. The picosita was so good. For food we started with the chips & guacamole then it was the Enchiladas de la Familia for my husband and the Mole Poblano for me. I knew I had to save room for dessert because Tres Leches was on the menu. The food and service were both good."
"We discovered Lucha Tigre thanks to Yelp. We enjoyed our meal here. I give this place 3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Good food, for the most part, and great service. I'd come back. This is a casual, fun, Asian-Latin fusion restaurant and bar. Inside, the space is divided into two sides: bar and dining room. A big "LUCHA TIGRE" covers one of the bar walls and pop art decorates the main dining room wall. They also have a somewhat spacious, partially-covered patio. Overall, it's got a neat vibe.I booked our reservations on Lucha Tigre's website at https://luchatigre.com/ The reservation process was unconventional because instead of getting booked immediately, I had to wait for an email confirmation. On a Sunday, I got a "Pending Reservation Request" email at 2:16pm followed by a confirmation email at 2:52pm, so a 36-minute turnaround time. I got us a same-day reservation at 5pm, not a peak time as evidenced by the lack of customers upon our arrival. However, business had picked up by the time we left around 6:30.The menu had an interesting selection of food and drink. A few good examples of the Asian-Latin fusion served here include General Tso's Chicken Empanadas ($5 each), Pozole Ramen ($15.99), and Pad Thai Al Pastor ($16.99). They also serve straight-up Asian and Latin dishes like pho ($14.99) and tacos ($2 and $4 each). Drink-wise, they had a full bar with a decent selection that included tequila, mezcal, and sake cocktails. They even had a cocktail made with Japanese Suntory Whisky Toki. Here's what my wife and I had:Bebidas Especiales (cocktails)* El Conquistador ($14) - Tequila Herradura Silver, freshly-squeezed citrus, CointreauTapas* Tuna Tiradito ($16.99) - sashimi tuna with aji amarillo pepper, onions, cilantro, roasted corn nuts, and fresh citrus; Nikkei cuisine* Bulgogi Nachos ($15.99) - giant-size nachos with Korean BBQ beef, pico, kimchi, cheese, crema, jalapenos, black beansEntrees* Salmon Poke ($18.99) - raw salmon with sesame, onion, and tamari with seaweed salad, rice, and avocado* Pollo Saltado ($16.99) - stir-fried chicken, tomato, cilantro, onion; served over fries with rice and saladIn general, we were happy or content with everything. Some dishes were better than others. Beautiful presentation all around. The El Conquistador was a margarita that was more tart and less sweet. It was refreshing.I liked the Tuna Tiradito more than my wife. Tiradito is like Peruvian sashimi. I thought this dish was fine. I could see why my wife didn't like it as much because the texture of the tuna wasn't as fresh and appetizing as the tuna sashimi we're accustomed to. This tuna was a bit more "pasty" in texture. Also, the roasted corn nuts, which we think were the same as hominy, didn't add much. The standout dish was the Bulgogi Nachos. I saw pictures of it on Yelp and knew we had to order it. The portion size was huge and the Korean beef bulgogi was sweet and savory. We devoured the nachos. They were incredibly delicious and addictive. A lot of textures and flavors, and they all blended and worked well together. The Salmon Poke was solid. I recommend it if you like poke. Admittedly, it was better than we both expected because we haven't encountered a lot of great poke in the Chapel Hill-Durham area. Decent portions and fresh salmon, seaweed salad, and other ingredients. I will say the rice tasted plain and not seasoned with rice vinegar. The poke came with two sauces on the side, tamari (a type of Japanese soy sauce) and what I think was a type of curry sauce. The salmon was already nicely marinated and tasty so the sauces weren't needed. The Pollo Saltado was OK. It wasn't among the best I've had, but it was "authentic." The problems with this dish were the chicken was too dry and tough and the fries were underseasoned (not salty enough). Unfortunately, the salad was the best part of this dish. Our server Taryn was great. She was attentive and efficient. Everything we ordered came out fairly quickly. One detail I really liked and appreciated was Taryn neatly packed our leftovers and labeled and dated the boxes. That's an extra level of service you don't get at most other sit-down restaurants.Lucha Tigre opened in December 2012. It replaced the Chapel Hill location of The Original Flying Burrito: https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-original-flying-burrito-chapel-hill You can find it in the Midtown Market shopping plaza, north of UNC's campus. There's plenty of free dedicated parking.I didn't have a good cell signal here and used their guest Wi-Fi. Password was Beefbulgogi1."
"Amazing meal with great service. Our server was covering bother the bar and bar area booths and did an amazing job. I believe her name was Hailey. Very comfortable space, great food, reasonable drink prices. Can't wait to go back."
"My wife and I were really impressed with Carrburritos. This place is great. It's the best taqueria we've been to in the Triangle to date. The food is fresh, homemade, and delicious. Service is superb. We also enjoyed the casual, laid-back, hip vibe and the 80s/indie music they played. This restaurant would do well anywhere. The Carrboro-Chapel Hill area is lucky to have it. It's been around since 1997.On the surface, Carrburritos may look like another run-of-the-mill neighborhood taqueria, but once you try the food, you'll realize these guys are on another level and a step above the competition. At least, that was our experience. Off the top of my head, I can't think of another taqueria/Mexican joint nearby that comes close. I can think of several decent/good ones, but among them, this one is the best. The restaurant is hidden near the intersection of E Main St (W Franklin St if coming from Chapel Hill) and W Rosemary St. There are actually two entrances, one from either street. The main entrance is from W Rosemary St. Carrburritos shares a two-story building with other tenants. The building has its own dedicated parking lot. Carrburritos has assigned spaces, but there are only a few. You can park on the street and in the municipal gravel lot across the street at the corner of Rosemary and Sunset. We parked in that lot for free. The restaurant isn't huge, but the dining room is big enough and there are two patios.During our visit, the menu featured burritos, tacos (2 for $8), quesadillas (about $7-10 each), nachos, tostadas (about $8-10 each), tilapia, and sides like chips and salsa ($5.50) and chips and guac ($8.50). "Fillings" included meats like carnitas and pollo asado (grilled chicken) and other items such as grilled veggies and pure de papas (mashed sweet potatoes with caramelized onions). The chorizo (spicy pork sausage) is made in-house so that's what we went with. We got one order of the Nachos with Chorizo ($10.75) and one Chorizo Burrito Mejor ($11.50). The nachos came with Monterey Jack cheese, black beans, sour cream, jalapenos, and salsa fresca. The burrito came with black beans (pinto beans was also an option), cheese, rice, lettuce, salsa fresca, guacamole, and sour cream.Carrburritos offers three types of burritos. The "Mejor" that we got is the type that comes with the most ingredients. Guac and sour cream only come in the Mejor. The nachos and burrito tasted fresh and delicious. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. The portion sizes were generous and filling. The proportions of ingredients were well-balanced and to our liking. They didn't skimp on any chorizo, which was savory and succulent. The food really hit the spot. Well-made, well-executed with quality ingredients. One detail we like about Carrburritos is they serve two kinds of tortilla chips: flour and corn. A lot of restaurants offer flour and corn tortillas (e.g., for tacos), but not when it comes to chips. I loved Carrburritos' flour chips. They had terrific taste and texture. They were a little thicker than the corn chips, had a delectable, addictive flavor to them, and they kind of melted in our mouths. I forgot to mention a small pile of both flour and corn chips comes with each burrito. Also, the nachos consisted of both flour and corn chips.Carrburritos also has amazing salsas which are made in-house daily. The salsas are kept behind the counter and must be requested from the staff, unlike a self-serve salsa bar. If you dine in, you can ask for as many as you want. To-go, you get three then it's $0.50 each (2-ounce servings) after that. They have six kinds of salsa. We tried four: Fresca (tomato, jalapeno, cilantro, lemon), Verde (tomatillos, mild chilis, and cilantro), Frutas (pineapple, jalapeno, cilantro), and Tomatillo Arbol (toasted arbol chilis with tomatillos and garlic). My wife liked the sweet and tangy Frutas the best. I liked it the least. I liked the Fresca, Verde, and Tomatillo Arbol equally. The latter had an enjoyable kick to it. All of the salsas were fresh and packed with flavor. Fantastic.I also ordered Ceviche ($8.75). Carrburritos' ceviche is made with tilapia marinated in lemon, jalapeno, and cilantro and it's served with two warm flour tortillas. I will say the ceviche was good, but not great. It wasn't among the best ceviche I've had, but it wasn't bad either. I'd order it again. If you like ceviche, I think it's worth trying. Consistent with the other food we tried, all of the ingredients were fresh. However, the ceviche seemed to be lacking something, like an extra flavor/ingredient. I can't put my finger on it. There were lots of fresh jalapenos so the ceviche was nice and spicy. Again, portion size was good with plenty of chunks of fish.Sam M was our cashier. He and all of the staff were cool. Pleasant atmosphere with the customers too.We look forward to coming back and trying more of the menu including the Chipotle and Habanero salsas. I recommend Carrburritos!"
"Incredibly good vegan-friendly Mexican food! Many of their menu options can be made vegan by omitting the cheese, sour cream, etc. They do have vegan meat substitutes but I opted for a burrito with both black and pinto beans instead and loved it. Also really good guacamole."
"we love the people here. The food is excellent. Get the green enchiladas, chicken, or the tacos you can't go wrong. The short rib tacos on Sunday is amazing."
"I had been following Mezcalito on social media for a while and drooling over their gorgeous and elaborate cocktails, namely margaritas - my favorite! When a friend recommended it, I decided to go for dinner before a show at DPAC.I was a little worried about getting a table due to it being Friday night and its close proximity to the Durham Preforming Arts Center. This place is HUGE! We didn't have any wait for a table around 5:45. We were seated outside in the covered/heated patio. There is a bar out there, so I wouldn't say it's a true patio, but it fits the patio vibes. I really liked this area, but my only complaint was it was SO loud, like hard to hear the server and people at your table over the music. Speaking of server, ours was Pablo and he was GREAT! I know sometimes it can be hard to be extremely present on a patio, as the servers have to run to the bar, kitchen, and back to the patio, but Pablo did an awesome job. He was very personable and he went over the specials with us. He sold me on their Margarita flight which they had a new featured Margarita they called the Barbie. First of all, I love a flight of everything! It's so fun to sample, and the presentation on these drinks was completely Instagrammable. The fruit that was used to garnish was neatly cut and placed, and it was very fresh. They were fairly sweet, but they still packed a punch! They have so many fun flavors and options. I really enjoyed this, I can't wait to go back and try more!We ordered the chicken rolls as an appetizer and I really enjoyed these! 6 sizable rolls, this dish is perfect for sharing. The chicken was flavorful, the tortillas were perfectly crispy and the sauce was delightful! Chips and salsa were really fresh as well.I got the Tiras de carne as my entree. It was listed on the menu as Tiras de pollo, but they happily subbed the chicken for steak. This was DECADENT! The steak was nicely charred and paired with a chipotle sauce sent straight from sauce heaven. This came with rice and beans and tortillas - they have flour and corn, I chose corn! All food and drinks came out in a very timely manner with excellent presentation and temperature appropriate. Everything so so efficient and smooth, especially for such a huge place with a lot of moving parts. Portions were sizable and the drinks are so fun and delicious. .6 miles from DPAC!"
"Perfect spot to enjoy some food outside especially during covid times. There's a bunch of outdoor seating and a lot of play-sets, toys, and space for kids to run around and enjoy. Service was great and food was yummy! I had a Don Burrito with chicken. We also had chips and salsa and the chips were awesome!"
"Love this place!I can order my food with no dairy or when our daughter in law is with us they have no problem making gluten free. The margaritas are yummy. The hostess are friendly and the service is awesome. The food- cooked perfectly and tastes delicious."
"Came here during a quick trip and happy I did. Called ahead during a busy lunch period - had to wait a few minutes when I arrived. Dine-in service is available and salsa bar is there too. Awesome hot red sauce and the neon green sauce hits the spot every time. I got some for the road - carne asada burrito and chorizo burrito. San Diego-style burritos - rice and beans on the platters, not in the burritos. Friendly service and expansive menu. Definitely recommend it."

"Pretty good Salvadorian place that serves pupusas and chicarones. I would recommend getting the Salvadorian version of the Bandeja Paisa. It is very similar to the traditional Columbian dish. It also comes with a little bit of everything with it so you can try. If you go with someone it is enough to share between two folks. The pupusas on their own are very delicious. I'm not a huge fan of their curtido. I normally like to ferment and make my own. It is very similar to sauerkraut. If someone wants to try an Salvadorian place this is a good place to try out but not the best this area has to offer."
"Latin American Yums! Tequila galore! & my personal favorite is the salsa and plantains. Omg. Out of this world. Corn tortillas are a must here. Gonza is always good vibes and good plates. Pollo tacos are my go to. This time around we explored the coconut encrusted shrimp tacos. I can't get them off my mind. So yummy. So fresh & filling. I could shout from the roof tops how awesome Gonza is. Informative and attentive service. Fresh & authentic menu items. Best taco place around!"
"TLDR: Flavorful, large entrees with efficient service. I don't think I have seen a restaurant so busy, yet so efficient before. Yes it was taco Tuesday so maybe that was why everyone was out. The tables were consistently full with several pushed together to accommodate large parties as more customers piled in. Nonetheless, the employees were somehow still bringing out dine-in and takeout orders accurately and in a reasonable amount of time. We were seated at a large table near the front. Our waiter was incredible. I don't know how he kept everything straight, but somehow he did. I liked how the menu included pictures. The food pictures were all so tempting. After flipping through the menu multiple times, I decided on the Fajitas Tropicales. Others in my party already ordered chips, salsa, and guacamole. The guacamole ingredients and mortar are set up at the tables in advance and covered in plastic wrap. Then if you order guacamole they prepare it at the table. I enjoyed the fajitas and took home leftovers. I only wish there was more pineapple in the dish. I thought since it would be served in half a pineapple, that the portion of pineapple removed would be included. Instead only 3 pieces of pineapple were in the dish. Overall we enjoyed our meal and recommend this restaurant to others!"
"Came on a Saturday evening. There was designated parking with some open slots. Got 1 pastor, 1 suadero, and 1 carnitas. Also go the horchataAmbiance: 3.5/5Service: 4/5 food came out relatively quicklyFood: 5/5 The three tacos were really filling! They all were amazing! Loved the grilled onions, peppers and jalapeños that came with each person's platter. The meat for all of them was surprisingly tender and well seasoned in contrast to the typical over cooked meat in tacos. My wife said it was the best tacos she's had in NC!Price: 5/5 relatively cheap tacosThis will be one of our go to spots! The soups/stews looked delicious too!"
"Tired this place with my wife for Sunday lunch. Holy crap! My wife had the Huaraches with chicken and I had the fish tacos. The huaraches were INCREDIBLE. Will be back just because of that dish. Service was very good - waitress was attentive and manager came over to ask how we were and seemed genuinely interested. The ambiance is basic strip mall ish restaurant. It's very comfortable with tables appropriately spaced apart. I think this is a good casual date place or good for the family even with small kids. Absolutely will be back."
"Best Tacos - fresh tortillas, authentic fillings, and fresh toppings. Open every day 10-10 with authentic Mexican flavors. Located in a no frill shopping center, this is a hidden gem. I went with co-workers and we all very much enjoyed our meal. I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant. I loved the salsa and chips! My tortilla was the best I have tasted in a long time. So fresh and flavorful. Yes - 5"
"Can't believe it's been eight years since I've updated my review here, but I stand by my "consistently good" comment from back then. There was a period where the quality might have slipped a tad, especially when it came to their rellenos, but they are right back up there where I've always liked them. Nothing makes me happier than a combo of a chile relleno and a spinach enchilada with beans and rice.Husband's favorite is the fajita quesadilla with steak. Chips and Salsa are always good, and still complimentary. Prices reasonable. Portions gigantic. And service is always quick. Nice variety of seating, whether there's just two of you or a larger group. Patio seating available as well. It's in an old shopping center at Millbrook and Atlantic Avenue with plenty of parking available."
"I came for lunch on a weekday and ordered some tacos: Carne Asada Tacos and Birria Con Mole Tacos. Both were good, packed with flavors and topped with a decent amount of meat and toppings. The chips and salsa that came with the meal were also quite tasty. The service was prompt and friendly, the space is clean, and there is a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a bit tricky since the restaurant is in a shopping center which can get busy during meal times. The price point is a little higher than I would have expected, but the food is solid."
"Ask for Jonathon and don't forget the Queso. Nestled in a plaza in Cary this spot will make you a lover of all things Mexican. I branched out to a new dish and I'd do it again!"
"We don't go out for Mexican very often. We ended up staying in Dunn longer than planned, so decided to give this place a try. We're so glad we did! Both times we were seated right away. We ordered margaritas. They were huge and had a good flavor. Our server brought chips and salsa. The chips may be the only negative of the meal. They weren't bad, but they weren't great. The salsa was good. The menu is huge. It was hard to decide. We ended up ordering a Steak with Shrimp, a Steak Burrito, and Fried Shrimp Chimichangas. The Fried Shrimp Chimichangas came with an enchilada cheese sauce on top and rice and beans. The chimi with the sauce was memorable. I would go back just for that. Delicious! We finished with deep fried ice cream for dessert. The service was very good. Each server we had was attentive. The food came out quickly and hot. My only regret is that we didn't order the Burrito California. Both servers recommended it. It sounds good! Maybe another time.Relaxing atmosphere! Great food! Good service! Yummy margaritas!"

The best table-side guacamole EVER!Start your meal with a margarita or cerveza from the bar.Go all in for the table-side guacamole You can customize it to your liking. I 86'ed the onions. This was, by far, the best I've ever had. It was flavorful and delicious. The fresh-squeezed lemon gave it a brightness that woke up my tastebuds. Yum! Be sure to tip this server, too. #cashiskingOrdered lunch portion of 2 carnitas street tacos with elote-style corn on the side. Added queso and sour cream. My choice did not disappoint. This place is a sleeper! Don't miss a chance to visit Morrisville's best kept secret. It's lovely inside and out with shady outdoor seating. You'll receive fast and friendly service, the food is delicious, and the prices are fair. Yes, it'll take a minute to find a parking spot. Plan ahead.

Met several friends for dinner here. Cute spot downtown -- we were at a cozy table under the stairs beside the bar. Didn't order a cocktail but they looked amazing. We ordered chips, salsa and queso for the table. All were delicious. I ordered the centro bowl with chicken for my entree. It was the perfect amount of each ingredient in the bowl. I'm not normally a guacamole fan but it just with with the bowl and was quite tasty. Waitress was attentive without being overbearing. I look forward to returning and trying some cocktails and a different entree.

Ate here as a group of 4 friends-from-childhood now in our 60's. Good menu, lots of delicious healthy choices. We got chicken cheese quesadillas, spicy tofu bowl (Heat Seeker Tofu), and great local beers. Good service. We ate at 8 pm on a Thursday and they were out of several items we wanted to order. Fun and delicious, i would return.

I went to an alumni event at Mez recently, and had a great time. We had a food buffet, and I especially enjoyed their salmon and roasted vegetables. The space worked out really well, too. I've been to Mez a couple of times before, pre-pandemic. I'm surprised I didn't review before, but I do remember positive experiences before.

To be honest, the burritos are good but not great. I went with the homemade chorizo and expected some flavor but it was quite bland. I was waiting for that punch in the bite but couldn't find it; even when I added the salsa. I can tell that the ingredients were fresh but other than that, I couldn't find a good enough reason to rave about it. The best part was the chips. I like how they did half-and-half corn + flour tortillas. That couldn't justify the $14 price tag.

Cosmic cantina never fails to impress! It's always open late and never lets us down. The portions are huge and plenty to fill your appetite or have more for a later snack. The service is always great. Staff are always making sure to have your order right and to give you warm, fresh food. Ambience is casual, but all you need for quick, yummy delicious Mexican food.

A great little spot in a great little historic area of Raleigh. The staff was great and the food was great as well. They get their tortilla fresh locally and the chips as well. And you can taste it. The carnita tacos were extremely flavorful and the drinks were well prepared. I would definitely want to come back and try more items on the menu. I recommend others give it a shot as well

"Best tacos I've had in Durham. Love the way they present the nachos. It's exactly how'd I'd eat it if I were at home. It's all business. The Carnitas, Chorizo and Al Pastor are all recommended. The salsa is on the mild side so please use generously. It's got great flavor. I was impressed with this visit. I came in hungry and I left happy. You've definitely got a gem here in Durham. I will be back many times over. Yum gang..."
"Was visiting family in North Carolina and had our last meal here before we headed back to California. The service and food was amazing! Definitely recommend this spot for large parties.Surprisingly the best chilaquiles I've ever had and I've eaten it many times back in CA where the Mexican spots are abundant. The potato side was unlike anything I've ever had with chilaquiles and went well with the perfectly cooked rice. Carne asada was seasoned well and eggs cooked appropriately over medium.Of course my son had to get the whole fried tilapia plate which was perfectly seasoned and not over-fried like some places tend to do.I would definitely come back the next time I'm visiting the area."
"La Rancherita is definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant. It's located in beautiful downtown Apex. Service is superb. The menu offers a very large range of options and the food is served hot and very very flavorful. The chips and salsa are both packed with flavor and fresh!"
"Oh, La Buena Vida...a new favorite restaurant added to the list! I found La Buena Vida via an Instagram reel and was amazed by the wild festivities at night! I happened to be driving to another restaurant and saw La Buena Vida's building THE SAME DAY I saw the reel. So I decided, no...we're going there instead and turned around and let me tell you!! That was the best decision I could have made because this place is everything!! It was honestly too good to be true that I watched the reel in the morning and just so happened to pass by the restaurant in the afternoon, it was a sign. La Buena Vida is beautifully decorated with plants everywhere, marble flooring, neon lights, beautiful paintings on the wall, and the perfect amount of lighting to set the tone. Fun music played in the background throughout the meal. The atmosphere is *chefs kiss.* The food, though! It's authentic Mexican food! None of this Tex-mex you get here in NC with all of that cheese sauce. No no no...the food here is made with LOVE, my friends. It's delicious and memorable, makes you want to come back (or even indulge even more while you're already there). Now, I'll be honest, the real reason I was interested in trying La Buena Vida is because of their bathtub with a rubber ducky drink. And let me tell you!! The drinks don't disappoint either!! Deliciously made, enough alcohol to have your S.O be the designated driver, and fun containers for every drink! Ever since we visited La Buena Vida, I've been raving about it to my friends and coworkers. I don't think anyone has gotten the hint that "I think we should hang and get some good food and drinks." Did I mention the service was spectacular? Our waitress was so incredibly helpful and informative...and quick! Also, don't forget to use the restrooms because they're marbled and have chandeliers. Classy if I do say so myself. TLDR: What are you waiting for?! Go to La Buena Vida and get your grub on!!!"
"Los tres Magueyes is now my top Mexican restaurant in the area. It is so authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable while depicting Mexican culture and ethnicity. The staff are genuine, friendly, and attentive. The portions are extremely generous. The excellent chips and salsa are an invitation to the wonderful and delicious experience you'll have at lost tres magueyes. I'm going to salsa my way back right now"
"It has been so long since we had been here because we had had a couple of not so good experiences, but this Thursday night we decided to give it a whirl again and both of us were very pleased with the improvements. First good sign was the horrible cleaning solution smell was gone! (and no worries- sanitation rating was solid). We were seated at a clean booth near the bathrooms but over looking the water. Service was terrific. Young Guy took very good care of us. I tried the Enchiladas Los Cabos, and Husband got the Beef Chimichangas. They are still doing free chips and salsa (unlike a lot of other places), and they were both good. Salsa tasted fresh and had a little kick to it. Meals came out pretty quickly and were both terrific. I couldn't believe all the seafood in mine! Menu had described these enchiladas as flour tortillas stuffed with avocado and queso fresco with a shrimp & scallop sauce. It was just the opposite. There were three flour tortillas FULL of seafood (yes shrimp and scallops, but I do believe some fish as well...all very good!) And there was even more seafood in the tasty sauce. Avocado and queso fresco were on top and on the side were a lot of greens and tomatoes with sour cream. I loved it and had enough left over for another meal the next day and it was good leftover as well.Husband was happy with his chimichangas. We both were pleased with flavor and quality improvements! As for the atmosphere, it was lively. In the back room where the bar is, we could hear a very fun-sounding birthday party happening. In the dining room, there were large and small groups of happy looking diners and cart-side guacamole was being made. Outside folks were basking in the sun around the pond with a fountain. Staff -hustling and smiling. And the prices were very reasonable, especially in these times of high costs everywhere.Very happy to be able to recommend this Mexican restaurant again!"
"What an amazing spot! If you're ever in Goldsboro NC and have no plans Come watch the bartenders make the most Badass drinks ever ! This is coming from someone who has been to bars around the world ! Do you know it's going to be a good drink When they use a measuring cup and not a shot glass to measure the liquorDecor inside is great ! Little I collect it but awesomeAs far as the food goes just looking at the menu will make you more hungry when the food is presented to you it looks just like the pictures on the menu I ordered the Al Pastor quesadilla I could only eat one quarter of it there was so much.Everybody in the group was amazed by the quality of the food. when you have a group of more than six people and nobody complains about anything that speaks volumes."
"I ordered delivery recently and I was very happy. They deliver Humongous portions, delicious Mexican cuisine and the best salsa and pico de Gallo. Since relocating to Raleigh the mexican food has been very well prepared and true to authenticity. The carnitas was very good and the tortillas chips and salsa were perfecto !The food was well worth every penny and flavorful. Best salsa & tortilla chips. Hands down."
"I've heard good things about this place and was excited to try it. I got the chicken burrito which was a good size and also had some chips and salsa on the side which was nice. The burrito was a normal version (there was a larger burrito with extra toppings) but was flavorful and tasty. The chips were crisp and the salsa was fresh. The service took a bit but they were really busy so it made sense. I would go back if in the area again!"
"Went with a group of 12 so that usually means slower service but not here. The service was excellent as was the presentation but the food was just ok. I got the steak fajitas and I didn't enjoy the flavor of the steak or the refried beans BUT I tasted my sister's octopus dish and it was cooked to perfection. We also had appetizers and they were quite good. I guess try things til you find one you like. I would recommend you try for yourself"
"A cool little hole in the wall! The prices are very reasonable for the portion size. The food is pretty good too! This is definitely not a date night kind of place. The tables and chairs are like picnic style and a little wobbly. I would come back if I'm looking for something quick and cheap!"
"On a visit for lunch yesterday I had the chicken enchiladas with rice. The lunch portion is two enchiladas and with a massive about of rice it was much more than I could eat. I brought half of both home for dinner. The salsa is so good too! Just spicy enough for me that it didn't make me wince too much. Served with the warm tortilla chips and it's the perfect appetizer. I even brought some home with the rest of my take out and a container is salsa. The staff is friendly and always available to get drink refills or whatever is needed. If they were closer to my home I'd definitely visit more often."
"We were seated immediately. Drinks came out fast. Our food was delivered in a great time frame. The lamb chops were very flavorful. Mouth watering. Very tender. The server checked on us several times. The mango drink was so good. I'm definitely returning."
