Raffa's Waterfront Grill

It's been a loooooing time since I stopped by this place. Been wanting chicken fried steak and this is the nearest place to get it. Service still kinda of not great. Kitchen was a little slow, although it looked to be understaffed. It took a while to receive our entrees, which were actually pretty good. For the first time in a long time the cut of steak was finally a good one and the chicken fried steak and sides were great.The bar was a disappointment overall, the whiskey and bourbon offering left you wanting a lot more, amongst the more easily available hypebeest offerings of blantons, bt, and eagle rare they did have a minor unicorn of Stagg Jr. talking to the bartender they have a few other allocations such as blantons gold (the only one he could recall) however beyond saying they have some others he didn't offer me anything, I mean at least tempt me.I might try them again sometime this year but not much has changed if anything.

Best restaurant in Texas, I'm sure of it. The Mediterranean chicken is what you want, complex and flavorful, it's my favorite. We've had a few specials, the French toast at brunch, and Ribeye steak are all also good choices. Mr. Raffa is often wandering around and is very friendly.

We were there tonight to celebrate our daughter's 40th birthday. Had another great meal!

I visited here during the holidays with my company, and otherwise may have never visited since it's too far to come for a lunch, and out of the way to come on a weekend. We had a side portion of the restaurant sectioned off, so that was nice. My overall experience was pretty good here. I tried both the beef dish and the fish dish that was one of the 3 choices for my company's party, and both were pretty tasty. Service was appropriate for what it was.

My bestfriend and I came here for brunch and the food was good! The vibes were coo and the service was great! I got a crab cake, chicken fried steak and a Cesar salad . She got the migas, water front salad and chocolate cake . Definitely coming back when I'm in town again! P.S they have bottomless mimosas!They have brunch from 11-2:30. Then the kitchen closes briefly to prepare for the dinner menu, our server said they still serve light appetizers in that time frame tho.

Raffas grill has a great bar with really good appetizers for a fun happy hour meeting with friends. You can get full menu derive, however we chose heavy appetizers and salads which were perfect. A great atmosphere and opportunities to run into other local friends you know!!

Nice restaurant with a fancy feel but laid back atmosphere. It's on Lake Houston and has a small outdoor seating area if you wish to dine outside looking at the lake. Ordered a bowl of the chicken and andouille gumbo, the house made chicken fried steak, and the steakhouse blend burger during this visit. The chicken and andouille gumbo was great. It's a bit thicker than your usual gumbo but I loved it. Such a great flavor! The house made chicken fried steak was just ok. The steak was served on top of mashed potatoes and had a tasso gravy on it. It was also topped with onion rings. My husband had the steakhouse blend burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and smoked miso aioli. He absolutely loved this burger and the fries that came with it. Service was a little slow during this visit.

My family and I had a nice brunch here! The restaurant is beautiful and overlooks the Lake. Our server was very friendly and attentive with our large party of 14. I tried their Migas and their French Toast. Both were excellent and had large portions. The Migas had a nice salsa that came with it, and the French Toast was so indulgent. They had bottomless mimosas and Bellinis which were fun. We'd love to return next time we're in the area!

Food is good but the wait for the food was over an hour and a half on a not so busy night. Table next to us was offered discounts on their bill and free desserts for their wait while we weren't even offered an apology. Staff should be more discreet in picking who to take care of if they're going to be unfair

We waited 2 hours to get our food. Our waiter only checked on us twice then basically disappeared. We got a charcuterie board for an appetizer they gave us like 4 crackers and a couple pieces of cheese and meat. I got French toast it was basically sweet nasty liquids on top of bread. We got there at 12:30 and I hadn't eaten all day, the food was nasty so I barely ate it, I left hangry. The second I got home I made myself a sandwich at that point it was 3:30. Do not waste your time or money here.
