1st time going to R &B's after church. There were some young ladies on the serve Team talking about where to eat and the deactivation caught my eye. It was 5 minutes from the church Time: 12:30Foot Traffic : Not busyPrice: good. Not over pricedFood: Fresh. Well seasoned. Recommendation:Smothered beef tips and rice, Yams, collard greens, chicken wings (made to order 10 min), baked chicken, Mac n cheese. Parking:Private Parking lot

Had the beef tips with rice and gravy, Mac and cheese with cabbage and it was delicious! Grew up around the area and it's nice to see that hood people can have such a great establishment to eat at and enjoy themselves. Great music, good vibes. Definitely will be back.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I wanted to feed my kids some soul food today. I waited in line in for I don't no how long in the heat. While the owner I assumed held a conversation with two women she knew. Mind you there were three other people behind me waiting to order standing in this heated restaurant. My son's face and eyes were so noticeably red it was ridiculous. There was no air conditioning in the restaurant. Another customer told me the food was really good so I sucked it up and continued to wait. When I ordered my food I was told to complete my order at the cash register. I waited even longer in line while she continued on talking with the same to women to get to the register only to receive the worst customer service. I imagined this is the owner of the establishment. Which makes it even worst. She was so rude, she snapped at me because I told her that the guy told me to finish my order at the register. She responded back well I didn't know that in the uglies tone with dirty looks and when I said well ma'am that's what he told me. She repeated herself in the same way while I was trying to finish my order. I have no idea why she was rude to me but I don't recommend anyone visiting this restaurant. Between my children and I being in a heated restaurant then to have the owner be rude to me. I refused to complete my order, I told her to keep the food I did order and I told her I would take my money elsewhere I don't spend my money where I am mistreated. I gave this restaurant 1 star just so I can leave this review.

I love this place so conveniently by my job. They always are very helpful when ordering and they give so much good food for the price. Me and my coworkers eat here almost every Sunday. Good soul food with friendly staff

I was on the way home from the airport with my boyfriend and we stumbled upon this place while trynna find some place to eat. I'm glad we took a chance and came here. The staff members were welcoming and did a concise, detailed run through of the menu before we ordered. Each entree comes with two sides and bread.I got spaghetti, broccoli casserole, and yams. Spaghetti was pretty basic but I really enjoyed my sides. The flavor was all there. I wish I ordered cabbage or green beans to balance out the carbs lol.Bf got the smothered porkchop, mac and cheese, and corn. The smothered porkchop was very tender and probably the best thing we had. The Mac and cheese was basic and the corn was pretty flavorful. I'd come back to try some other things on the menu. The amount of food you get for the price is a steal!

Food was great. Only was missing the R&B. The spot was exactly how I imagined it, the food is served cafeteria style and the line moves fairly fast. This could really be the spot on Sunday

Beef tips, yams, and macaroni was really good !! Definitely worth stopping by. Being from South Louisiana, I felt right at home.

Anything i get from here is very seasoned and tasteful! Oxtails... FIRE. Beef tips... BOMB. Pasta... AMAZING. Banana pudding... SPEECHLESS. Literally cant go wrong. Best soul food spot I've had. Owner is super sweet, and the workers are just as sweet and welcoming. Great atmosphere if you decide to sit down and eat as well.

The food was amazing .The restaurant feels like home, & the music was good. & the owner is so sweet ! I got my wing pretty fast. The food was hot & the portion sizes were adequate!

Is this place even open? I'll called several times with no answer. Also let messages in the app with no response.
