I was in Miami for a quick trip and decided to grab some pizza before heading back to the airport. The restaurant is in a strip center so it could be missed when going for the first time. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great. The cashier who helped me greeted me immediately and was friendly. And she answered my questions about the different pies they served. I sat inside and the ambience was bright but cozy. I ordered the caprese which differs from the margherita in that it was dress mozzarella on top. I also ordered a side salad. The salad was fresh and delicious. The romaine was crispy and the balsamic dressing was the perfect pairing for a simple salad. It was topped with plenty of carrots and tomatoes and all around a great starter. It came with two small pieces of bread which was perfect. When the pie came out, it was hot from the coal brick oven. I'm a pizza snob, and I've never been to Italy but based off the reviews, it was clear I needed to eat here because one reviewer said it reminded her of editing pizza in Italy. The crust was perfect. Light but crispy on the edges. The sauce was bright and I really could've eaten the whole thing in one sitting. But I saved half for dinner. You won't be disappointed if you love this style of pizza. I have nothing bad to say. I noticed they also offered gelato by the pint. I was curious but since I was headed to the airport I couldn't partake. They also have other menu items such as pasta and dessert that includes Nutella crepes. So you can Lt go wrong with anything it seems. I glanced over at other patrons and there was a variety of food ordered. The pasta looked fresh and tasty. I've book marked this business so the next time I'm in Miami, I can be sure to stop in.

Gotta say pretty darn great pizza. The dough is light but crispy. I really enjoyed the freshness of the red sauce.

I love Pummarola. I come semi-regularly for post-run pizza with a big group and I've also been for pizza making class. Consistently a good experience. The pizza is always great and the people are always nice.I usually come on Monday and they have a killer special on margherita. Their dough is some of the best in town, so even this rather simple pizza is a treat. For the price the value is good any day of the week but on Monday it's fantastic. The personal size is usually enough for one big meal for me or two light meals. The pizza making class is a fantastic value and a wonderful experience. Skip the other overpriced pizza making classes from other pizzerias and come here. The class size is small and they thoroughly walk you through how to make a delicious pizza dough. You get to eat a personal pizza and have a drink during class and you leave with lots of dough. The person running our class was so sweet and knowledgeable too.Nothing but good things to say about Pummarola and the South Beach location. Whether for a delicious pizza or a fun class, worth the visit!

Good pizza combos, but the crust has 0 bite. Floppy spine - so for that, this location cannot exceed 4 stars. What makes up for it, is the spaghetti carbonara consistently hits the spot every single time and is only $13. Quick service, easy and chill atmosphere. Usually opens until later in the evening. A solid spot.

I ordered a Panuzzo, salad and tiramisu for delivery. The panuzzo never made it, the salad had no dressing and came with some burnt tough pizza bread not even the pigeons would eat it... so I was left hungry at midnight with only the tiramisu.

With a story of a nonna and her famous San Marzano tomatoes, Pummarola brings to its various locations a taste and family feeling of Napoli. We had the pleasure of attending the pizza making class alongside Davis, who is the youngest of seven original grandchildren of the nonna who inspired Pummarola. Davis begins the class with a delightful story of his grandmother and how it all came to be. Then, with our chef hats on, we created a beautiful dough with fresh ingredients and live yeast which we took home to enjoy. We then created our own pizzas with dough they had pre-prepared for the class. We could choose our own toppings, and they included aromatic basil, two types of cheeses and a divine red sauce (Nonna's original recipe). I also added prosciutto as a topping after cooking, but you can enjoy as is for an authentic Pizza Margherita. I enjoyed the freshly baked pizza alongside a glass (included with the class) of Chianti - the perfect pairing! The pizza, accompanied by Davis' stories of his grandmother, her red car, and her tomatoes, transported me and all of the other class attendees to the streets of Napoli. Davis' passion for the food and culture is palpable and it was such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Pummarola for both this class and their menu of authentic, comforting Italian food. Thank you, Pummarola and Davis for a great experience and meal!

If you're looking for something different, fun, and inexpensive to do in Miami, look no further than the Pizza-Making class at Pummarola Miami Beach (@pummarolamiamibeach). The class experience delivered was unmatched. The attentiveness and friendliness of our pizza-making chef made it so fun and easy to make our very own pizzas (which also included dough to take home and bake our own pies and/or bread!).
