Pook's Crawfish Hole

Good crawfish! Wish they would be open all year long but it's just a seasonal business. Crawfish prices are always going up and so do people's prices. But they cook them fast and great. Good sauce and friendly service.

This is single handily the best place I have ever eaten at definitely better than Santa Fe Seafood. This place was so great I even had a dream about it. I woke up inside the Pook's crawfish Hole boiler. Me and my crawfish wife woke up beside each other both in that cursed boiler. But the man who was cooking us was no other then Leonardo the ninja turtle (the blue one) then super crawfish came and saved the day.

Love the vibe here! Enjoyed our crawfish with sausage, potatoes and corn. Love that you can BYOB. Crawfish were tasty and service was great!

It was okay. 2/3 of my crawfish were soft shel like it's been sitting in water too long. It wasn't the worst I've had but it couldn't been better. The seasoning was good at at medium heat. The sizes varied

It's my first time here. The food was terrible. My crab and shrimp had no good flavor whatsoever. My time and effort should be put to the boil. Maybe salt, garlic, and onion powder should be used for the garlic butter instead of plain butter. More red potatoes should be added for those prices. The waitress didn't even check on us or ask how the food was. I feel like I wasted 65 bucks. I will not be coming back.

A Santa Fe tradition! You could go other places - I mean - there's even a crawfish drive thru a mile or two away. Lots of places have crawfish down here. But, do they have BYOB and a fun, family/party atmosphere? I think not. Could spend hours here just chatting, drinking a little, and picking those mud bugs!

Self proclaimed as "The Best Crawfish in Galveston County", you'll always find a packed house and a long wait at Pook's. I've been waiting for Pook's from the moment I heard about it. 5 years later, I can check it off the list. At Pook's, you can purchase crawfish live to cook at home or eat right there in the restaurant.I regretfully come back to inform you, Pook's was good, but nothing I would drive over an hour for... in addition, the fixins (potatoes, corn) are not included.In other news, I highly recommend taking advantage of their BYOB, as they do not have a liquor license.

Great venue and I went for the crawfish, which didn't disappoint. They were big, there were only a couple that were "bad" and couldn't be eaten, and they had the right spice. Very juicy and fresh. Served with corn potatoes and sausage that came with the plate (not sold separately - I hate it when restaurants do that!!)Staff was friendly and service was great. The only think missing on a Sunday afternoon were some TVs to watch the game.Regardless, I will definitely return when I am needing another crawfish fix.

We visited Pook's Crawfish Hole on a busy Thursday night. The restaurant itself is easy to find and there is parking out front and on the side. We were lucky someone was leaving as we pulled into the parking lot, so we were able to park right near the door. The hostesses/staff were very friendly. They greeted us and led us to a table large enough for our group of 5 with plenty of room to spread out. Even though the restaurant was full, it was still quiet enough that we were able to have conversations with all of the members of our party.We enjoyed:- Fried pickles - Hushpuppies- Crawfish - Snow crab plate- Mini corndogs- Chicken and sausage gumboThe food was delicious. We wish there were a bit more options to season the seafood. However, this place is pretty close to places we frequent so it may become a somewhat regular spot.We recommend you give them a try and hope you have a great experience.
