Pig-N-Chik BBQ

For $43.07 I expected much better!Wife had the chopped pork plate with corn and fried okra. Pork was salty and extremely greasy. Corn seemed to have been poured out of a can. Fried okra was horribly breaded and undercooked. Breading was falling off and okra was stringy and chewy...My plate was chopped brisket. Fried okra. Potato salad.Brisket was greasy and full of fat. Okra was same as my wife's. Potato salad was worse than any that I've ever had.These orders were both supposed to have had Texas toast. Sliced white bread is certainly NOT Texas toast!Very sad experience and we will not return!

I wanted to share my recent discovery on Yelp. I was doing my usual grocery run at Kroger's, and I spotted Pig-N-Chik BBQ, one of my all-time favorite Atlanta barbecue restaurants. They have opened a location in Sandy Springs/Buckhead!Pig-N-Chik BBQ was my go-to spot back in my Chamblee days. Their food is reminiscent of authentic North Carolina barbecue, with flavors that are authentic and delicious. The owner, Jim Graddy was at this location, and made me feel so welcome. We chatted about the new location, and barbecue. I only picked up the beef brisket this time and wasn't able to shoot a pic of my meal but it was so good. I promise to come back armed with my camera next time and share the deliciousness with you all.So, if you're in the mood for some great barbecue and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Pig-N-Chik BBQ is the place to be. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Grabbed a bite fur lunch, to-go. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side of the sweet potato tots. Comically I think this is probably the tiniest bun I've ever seen served for chicken salad sandwiches. Nevertheless the chicken salad was good - Savory, but not a standout in terms of seasoning. The tots were more than plentiful in the serving amount, much to my delight. There is ample seating with some tables for outside dining as well. And the service was quick and easy.

I had the mild chicken wings and they were good. I would have given 5 stars, but they did not cook my chicken hard (extra crispy) as I requested. This has happened twice and I had to cook my wings again in my breville. Otherwise, the chicken is good and I will order again.

Outstanding catering for our 4th of July party! The barbecue chicken was smoky and shredded and so delicious. The coleslaw was some of the best I've ever had. Everyone asked where we got it. They included four different sauces that were all delicious. The kids ate all of the mac & cheese, it was a big hit! We can't wait to use them again for our next event. They were so easy to work with and had everything ready.

The customer service is outstanding. The gentleman took our order, chatted with us and even made funny jokes. The food was delicious. The fries were hot and the barbecue was outstanding. The ambiance is unique. I truly enjoyed my food. Took a star away because my to go order wasn't correct. Didn't get my corn and got baked beans instead of green beans. Our dine in order was perfect.

My youngest daughter and I loved to come to this place. We always got the Turkey plate with fried okra and broccoli. The side of chicharrones excellent. She still asks to come back, but unfortunately, I found. Myself made sick from what I presume was I sweet tea left out for too long (we both ate the same stuff except for the tea, but then I was sick)

Great bbq with friendly service. Chicken wings with lemon pepper sauce are awesome as well

Grabbed takeout. Service was a tad slow but when it arrived and got it home, it was great!!! Juicy, right hint of smoky. Greens were DELICIOUS!!! Most places never get brisket right but not here. Portions generous too. I tried the key lime pie Will be back !!
