Underbelly Meat

Came here yesterday for the first time to try out their featured Italian style roast beef sandwich with my wife and we absolutely loved and enjoyed it! Best sandwich I've had in AZ since moving from NJ/NY area 7 years ago. We loved that almost everything they serve is AZ locally sourced, We will be back again !

Visited for the first time during the lunch hour. The special that day was the Patty Melt sandwich which was fantastic. The beef patty was flavorful and was cooked perfectly. Their meat selection is locally sourced and co priced fairly, so if you are looking for meats to grill or whatever your presentation is going to be, this is your place.

HUGE FAN already. Just stopped in to pick up some milk... Left with some grass fed tallow, to top sirloin, and some freshly ground beef! Super friendly staff nice clean atmosphere and great service. We will definitely be shopping here more regularly.

Underbelly butcher shop is everything I remember about the Midwest butcher shops. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. The GOAT of sandwich Grilled cheese with bacon and 5 cheeses and that tomato concoction put me in a food coma Sublime just is a small word. They need to do a food truck of sandwiches. A GD neighborhood treasure. Do NOT sleep on this spot. They have amazing meats and a variety of other delicious foods--cheese, vinegars and sauces, pickles, butter, bread, and a selection of wines. Many of which, are locally sourced. Dustin is knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me some ground beef to try for free since it was my first time in. I immediately took it home and cooked it up (gently) to try. It was MOUTHWATERING, seasoned with just a aa touch of salt & pepper. I nearly licked the plate clean!The sandwich of the day will be my new lunch go-to for sure, whatever it is! Hours vary, but they are open every day except Monday during typical business hours.

I love to support local businesses but today we walked in here about 20 mins before they closed to grab a couple steaks, and walked right back out. the person behind the counter was looking at us like we could not be inconveniencing him more. He was very cold and curt, did not offer an ounce of customer service, basically just stared at us as if he was trying to Jedi mind trick us to get out of there and it sure as hell worked. it made all of us very uncomfortable and we walked out bummed and puzzled that we didn't get the yummy steaks we were there for and the excellent & warm customer service that everyone in these other reviews has raved about! Took mine and my family's business elsewhere!

I have been here several times now and they are GREAT. Always friendly and have easily done things for me like spatchcock a whole chicken, debone and de-skin chicken thighs, and one day when they were out of ground beef, they asked me the amount I needed and had it ready and packaged for me the next morning. I'm so happy this place is in my neighborhood and will keep going back!

Such a hidden gem! This is a fabulous butcher shop. The meats are excellent. The owners and staff are lovely, knowledgeable people.

Excellent service, excellent short ribs, perfect for a Christmas Day dinner. They're the only butcher in our area so this place is a godsend.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for! Amazing local butcher. Bought some ribeye for my dad's birthday, they cut it right in front of me. Excellent marbling. They really know their meat here
