Food: 5/5My friend got the Canadian bacon Benedict and I got the short ribs hash with over-easy eggs. The flavors and textures were good and balanced! Eggs were cooked perfectly tooService: 5/5Attentive but not overbearingAmbiance: 5/5The perfect morning breakfast next to a precious little garden scenery. The table they initially seated us on had too many tree leaves and what looked like sap but they switched us to a different table easily.

On this fine Sunday morning, we met a couple of visiting friends for brunch. My chilaquiles were delicious, but I did have some things that are un-Lon's-like that got in the way of a 5 star review. When we first arrived and were told our table wasn't ready yet, I told the hostess we would be waiting in Last Drop. I walked past the several servers huddled near the bar and sat down in Last Drop which was empty. - The servers didn't pay attention to me and the bartender had to get one of them to come take my drink order- Very slow service in the bar- I think the hostess would never have come to gather us once our table was ready if it were not for me eventually asking. Turned out the table was ready. - Very slow service on the patio, although it was a beautiful morning with delightful weather. - Waters not replenishedTL;DR, food and drinks were tasty but service was notably lackluster. I can't bring myself to give Lon's 3 stars, so 4 it is.

The atmosphere is wonderful! In the summer time I'm sure it's probably not as nice as Arizona gets into the mid 100s. But currently in April it was gorgeous weather. Very shady with so many flowers.I went for a girl's brunch, the staff was very friendly. The drinks were delicious (we had the "bought and paid for, lavender haze, and border candy"). My friend hates Mezcal due to the smokiness but the waitress suggested it saying you can barely taste the smoke and she was right! Just a very very subtle taste of smoke at the end of your sip. The food for the price was a little on the expensive side, averaging $20 for a plate. For starters we had the monkey bread (AN ABSOLUTE MUST! DELICIOUS! Id come here just to eat that again) and the smoked salmon sliders (also delicious). For entrees we had the short rib hash, chicken and waffle, and chicken chilaquiles. My friends didn't really seem to enjoy their meals. My chicken and waffles I thought was going to be a fried chicken piece and a waffle I was happy to see it was a slightly battered chicken. I'd definitely ask for gravy on the side so it doesn't get on your waffle.

Really? I've been going to the Lon's for over 25 years.Chef please let us locals know why you would take the most popular salad off the menu? The Louis Salad! It's literally had been the cornerstone of the Lons. And it's the reason why people don't go to Global Ambassador or Francines when they want something that they can enjoy and treasure from the Lons. The six of us were there for lunch and even the staff mentioned that they get asked several times every day why this would be taken off the menu. Perhaps it's because you're new and you're experimenting, but please don't take off the reason why people have been coming here for years.

Brunch at Lon's at the Hermosa Inn is such a treat. Service is always impeccable and this time wasn't any different. Our server was friendly and engaging. Sitting outside on the patio was great, even with all the flowers falling off the trees. We ordered the beignets for the table. So light and fluffy and dusted with powdered sugar. I got a chicken Caesar salad which was ok, but the lettuce was hard to eat due to the different sizes and the dressing was not mixed well so it wasn't on all of the leaves. The gelato/ice cream trio was delicious. Such a great way to start the weekend.

Chose this place for a birthday lunch with friends, based on the picturesque views of the patio in photos found online. After looking over the menu, our group decided to start with fried brussels sprouts and the Megargee trio. Brussels sprouts: 5/5The brussels sprouts had a nice crisp to them, the sweetness of the honey was light and subtle.Megargee trio: 4/5 The queso was light. The salsa was nice and smokey, not too spicy. The guacamole was the best out of the trio but a bit on the saltier side. Portion size for the price was well worth. Plenty of chips were provided and you can request for more. For our main entrees, we decided to go with the shrimp tacos, Hermosa fish & chips, and the Stetson burger with fries. Shrimp tacos: 4/5 Light, refreshing and filling. What more could you ask for?Stetson Burger with fries: 3/5 Friends who shared this said the fries were perfect, and that they were the style of fries they love. Nicely seasoned. The burger, however, was a bit dry and on the gamey side for their taste buds.Hermosa fish & chips: 4/5Fish & chips were standard. Cooked nice and crisp but not overdone. Overall, the food was okay. Outdoor patio seating had a charming ambiance, good for an intimate romantic date or get together with friends. Had a peek of the indoors while on the way to the restroom, the indoors had a nice rustic charm to it. Service was alright, a bit brash at times. We went on a weekday for lunch, so they weren't that busy, we had reservations and were promptly seated after checking in at the front counter.

Had a great breakfast outside at Lon's. I was celebrating a new job and my server was so sweet and attentive, she even brought a congratulations card out to my table. Our food was excellent and we enjoyed the relaxing environment on the patio sitting by the fountain.

We were excited to try this OG restaurant based on several recommendations from friends.1. Table wasn't ready. Had reservations for an outside/patio seat, which had live music. And they made it clear it may be an hour wait. We opted for an inside table in that case. Probably a poor decision.2. No servers to us for over 15 minutes. We saw who would be our eventual server passing by us multiple times, nothing. No acknowledgement, eye contact, "I will be right with you", nada. 3. When he came, he was quick and wanted to know what we wanted to order for food. We said we want drinks. Took 20 minutes to get our drink.4. We never saw him for another 30 minutes, and then ordered.5. Never saw him for the rest of then night, as other people served us. No "how is your dinner", do you need anything. Nothing. Again.6. We flagged down someone for our check. Never saw our server again. At this point, I don't even care about the food. Honestly. As a frequent diner, I have my choice of many stellar restaurants. For me to give my $200 at this establishment is worthless to me, and I will never come back. But the food was ok.

Went here for a friends bday dinner and everything was fantastic! The food, the service, and the place is so cute! We had the dinner special, we chose Caesar salads, I got the ribeye and he got the salmon and then I had lemon blueberry cake and he had a strawberry dessert. I will need to go back!

Food & Drinks: The short ribs were melting on my mouth, so they were cooked very slowly. The meat texture and spices gave a perfectly balanced flavor.. no excess sauce (yeay!!). The mash potatoes could it use just a little garlic, but they were creamy. I guess the chef didn't want the potatoes to lose the original flavor. The onions were caramelized to perfection. The Brocollini was cooked in a regular way but right for the plate balance. I tried their new wine (black late 2019). I love complex, smokey, fruity, and spicy wines. If that is your type, then you should try it.Dessert: Almond cake with gelato!! It was just delicious. The cake was a little bit too heavy on vanilla, but with the gelato , I didn't hesitate to eat the entire thing on my own. Ops! Service: It was experience with the servers. They know their food and their wines. They explain their food and flavors very well. Cantenn was a delightful server and ensured I enjoyed every little bit Note: Make sure you make a reservation. I got away during the week without reservations as it was just me. However, I made reservations any other time.Ambiance:Perfect for romance, intimate dinner, or a small group gathering. It is a classy western design with cozy lighting. It's not the best place for kids. At least you are outside, or your kids can behave.. I'm Price: it is not cheap, but it is worth the experience!Bon appetite, my friends.
