A great upscale restaurant for special occasions, celebrations, business meals, or just a really nice dinner for the heck of it. After having had great dining experiences at the sister restaurants for past special occasions, we knew we had to try out Ocean 44 also.Service from start to finish was friendly, attentive and overall phenomenal. The table was always clean, and our glasses were never empty. Drinks and bread service were brought to us in a timely manner, followed by an appetizer of the New England lobster rolls. The lobster rolls were buttered to perfection, simple but classic. For our main entrees, we got the bone in ribeye, and the filet mignon, with a side of the shrimp risotto. Both of our steaks were cooked to medium rare perfection. However, the shrimp risotto was a bit underwhelming for us unfortunately. The ambience is classy and quite spacious, with elegant and modern décor throughout with surprisingly lots of natural lighting filtering in if you come early enough before the sun sets. Reservations are highly recommended. Our reservations were for around 5:00 pm on a Wednesday night and they were already quite full when we arrived.

This review is LONG overdue!!! Over the years I've had nothing but bad experiences here. And because of the reputation of its sister restaurants I always go back thinking maybe last time was a fluke. It's never been a fluke. I'm so done with this place. I've gotten food poisoning from the oysters here twice. After calling the restaurant the following day (while sick) to report the food poisoning all I got both times was a shrug and told maybe it was something else I ate. The drinks just suck. They're watered down and missing necessary ingredients. A canned espresso martini is better than this place. Do us all a favor and start using Liquor 43 and it might be worth the $22 you charge. Their chef should be arrested. My most recent visit was this past Saturday. I ordered the $62 Chilean sea bass; a beautiful flakey, sweet, buttery, and tender fish completely ruined because for some reason this genus criminal decided that he would "elevate" the fish by abandoning the standard miso glaze and instead ruin it by giving it a lemon pepper crust. Because a mouth full of burnt lemon pepper is what people want when they order a mild buttery sea bass. Last Saturday my table also ordered the crab and shrimp mashed potatoes. We only had 1 bite and then I took the leftovers home, where I realized they charged us for what we ordered yet they gave us their standard mashed potatoes. Delightful. The only positive is that it's a large space with a lot of tables and different rooms which can give you the feeling of privacy. I've also never struggled to get a reservation here which and be a pro or con depending on who you are. Either way I've finally learned my lesson

Upscale restaurant and loved the experience. Took my wife there for her birthday night dinner. Overall I would recommend this place if expense is not a thing for you.Here are my takes:Food/Drinks: Everything tastes premium and upscale as the restaurant is. Serrver explained everything and was very welcoming. We tried 2 appetizers and entrees along with desserts which eventually were not billed and complementary on the house for the birthday night. Service: It was a very quick service from order to the table and loved it. Everyone is welcoming too. Ambiance: Great classy interior with multi-tier seating. Huge area and some unique shows of decor inside. Price: We ended up spending $300 for 2 adults and a kid here. It is upscale and so do the prices. It is not a place to go every day but for special occasions, these are some of the good options in the valley especially if you are into seafood.I would not go here every day but wouldn't mind being here on special occasions.

Came here for a friend's birthday while we were in town visiting from Kansas City. This place was ON POINT. Service was amazing and the food was to die for. My group shared a number of dishes and every single thing we had was delicious. They even brought out 2 desserts, including a beignet tree for the birthday girl. So thoughtful and kind. Cant wait to go back on our next visit!

This is definitely my favorite restaurant. It's beautiful, clean, and the staff is amazing.Their off the menu wagyu is the best. Everything I've ordered is delicious - from their starter bread that is buttery and flakey, lobster rolls, superfood salad...I'm salivating as I'm typing this review. We had an incredible experience celebrating our anniversary at Ocean 44.We were seated and there was a card congratulating us on our anniversary. Cameron, our server, was simply outstanding. We were never left unattended and he immediately asked if there were any allergies. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and the wine. His assistant serving staff were also excellent and extremely friendly. Bread service and cocktails were brought out followed by our appetizer, oysters at gratin. Absolutely delicious. I chose the filet and my husband chose the Chilean sea bass. Both were cooked perfectly. For sides we chose the au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach and artichoke. Outstanding.We were even treated to a glass of champagne for our anniversary. The evening couldn't have been more perfect thanks to Cameron and the staff. The restaurant was packed, however, the noise level was fine. We thoroughly enjoyed our night.

This place is elite. From the restaurant design to the service to the food. It's a little loud inside when busy but it is a really cool vibe. They bring fresh baked bread out. Has the Waygu Tartar as an app, that was delicious. The menu has a little bit of everything on it. We had crab legs and Sea Bass - the halibut portion was huge. Had the potatoes au gratin as a side as well as the Brussels sprouts. It was all phenomenal. They constantly make sure your drinks are full and the waiter (Michael) was incredibly knowledgeable. Would recommend for any occasion. Reasonably priced and with the service it's a rare 5 star.

My husband and I went tonight for our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a perfect five star experience from the very beginning. A well oiled machine with our server Chris in the drivers seat. He was not only well trained but he perfectly executed all of his training. He was intelligent, focused, a company man who only wanted to please his customer. All of the food that we ordered was perfectly prepared, including the yellowtail Hamachi, Caesar salad with crispy shrimp, two main lobster tails, loaded baked potato, the amazing bread and the fabulous dessert. The was not our typical visit. I was disappointed in the food for the first time. The waiter either had too many tables or just not up to par. The busboy was totally out of it he never cleared the ap plates and had to be asked to refill the water. My lobster roll was terrible. The bread was soaked w butter and so was lobster. I should have sent it back. I told the waiter but he did nothing. We had nine people and I spent close to $2000,00 dollars. I have been to restaurant many time but sure I will go back so quickly
