We watched the host repeatedly redirect clients to the establishment behind the building while waiting on the waitlist. Outdoor seating opens when the sun goes down so open seating indoors is limited at opening. Shoutout to both the hostess and server for holding the front down efficiently with smiles and patience. That is awesome customer service and team work.Menu is simple. We ordered the house thai tea. Yum! Khao Soi - 10/10!! Really loved this entree from the spices to the sweet curry to the crunch from the fried noodles. Minced chicken with fried egg - ALSO VERY GOOD!! A great pairing with the noodle soup dish. The fried egg was done nicely. We wished to have ordered this entree a bit spicier. Parking lot is tricky. Goodluck with that. No tips there besides avoid getting towed when parking in other areas."

"Love this hole in a wall Thai restaurant! We were lucky to come in and have a booth available. Seating is limited and yet more and more customers kept coming in.Our server was very polite and filled our waters and checked on us frequently to make sure we were enjoying our food.The nosh! They have Thai fish cakes here. Tasty and served with a sweet cucumber and peanut sauce. The fried tofu came with the same sauce. My Pad Thai was delicious with peanuts and beansprouts in the side. That added the crunch factor. The green curry was fragrant and thickened with coconut.There was a lot of food, but it was so good that I ate every bite."

"Yupha's Thai Kitchen has been a favorite go to spot of mine for years! Was out with my son and we were getting hungry and I suggested we head over to Yupha's for lunch. After checking out the menu I went with Pad Prew Wan lunch special. The lunch special comes with soup, salad with a warm peanut sauce dressing which is plate lickin good and a fried spring roll,I went with chicken for my Pad Prew Wan, and it was sauteed in sweet and sour sauce with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, pineapples, bell peppers, scallions, and some steamed white rice. It got it on the spicy side because spicy sweet is my favorite taste combo.The service was great, and the food was delish as always. If you haven't been to Yupha's you should go give them a try!"

We ended up getting a level 2 and it was perfect!Our server was good, and our food came out super quick, which made the experience that much more enjoyable! Wait: It was a busy Friday night, we were seated in about 15 minutes. But it took longer for the food to arrive, I think they were prioritizing takeout orders. Lots of patrons sitting around and not eating. Ambiance: Dim lighting with dark ceiling, floors and furniture. Marble tables with a mix of chairs, wall benches, and wooden booths with minimal back support. Menu: Standard Thai fare. Various appetizers, curries, soups, salads, fried rice, stir fried entrees, and noodles. A few dessert items like ice cream, mango sticky rice, and fried banana. Chicken Skewers (satay) - Six small and skinny pieces. Some were a little fatty, all were not grilled long enough. Drowning in sauce that should have been served on the side. Beef Pad See Ew - Didn't have much soy sauce flavor, kind of bland. Meat and noodle consistency was fine. I understand why they use broccoli instead of gai lan (Chinese broccoli), but it's out of place with the rest of the dish. Chicken Fried Rice - Some grains were hard to chew, protein was tender at the very least Complimentary Sorbet - Sweet and tangy Verdict: Entirely forgettable experience"

The Food is really tasty, the Panang Curry was delicious(although there were huge chunks of onion that really need to be chopped smaller, in fact there was way too much onion), the Beef Pad See Ew was solid, Chicken Fried Rice was good and the fried pot stickers were great. 4 stars for the awkward dining setup, we were from the other side of the valley so we couldn't do a to go order, so we elected to dine in. I realize they're probably doing their best, but the first thing we noticed was a fly on the table we wanted to sit in. It's like you're isolated over in a corner on time out while eating. In conclusion, the food is great dine in, but considering the weird setup, to go might be the move if it's feasible for you."

Be aware that their spice can be a 4 alarm hot even a1 spice rating can have you perspiring depending on the chef.It was still early with no diners. That made for super speedy service. "A must whenever I come to visit. I have been here numerous times and I'm never disappointed. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The inside is just as beautiful as it looks on the outside. They keep the place organized and clean. Bathroom is always clean and spacious. The patio furniture option is well thought out. Whether you want a high top seating, cushioned seating, or even low table seating and umbrellas provided. Lunch specials are great. Portions are always enough. My favorite is the chicken pad Thai. The sauce is amazinggg. Sauce is on the sweeter side. Noodles are all covered in the sauce and I appreciate that because I don't like to eat my noodles dry. Pot stickers are delicious and once again, the dipping sauce for that is so good lol They actually stuff it. Most places you get more dough than the filling. I always complete a meal with their Thai tea. Just check the place out. They have the cutest decorations too. There's also more stuff to do around there :-)"

"Thai food has become a favorite cuisine for "mom-daughter" meals lately and this evening was no exception... We came back from a weekend of travel (a soccer tournament in Las Vegas) exhausted and hungry... When I suggested "Thai food for dinner?" to my daughter, she happily obliged.I was tired from the long drive back so was super pleased to see that Thai Basil had a delivery option from Yelp / Grubhub. Yes, I likely paid a lot more for it, but it was worth it... Within 45 mins of ordering, we had a delicious meal delivered to our door. I over ordered knowing that my husband would likely dig in also and/or that we would enjoy leftovers tomorrow. Everything we ordered was a hit: fresh rolls with shrimp, the Thai Basil signature dish with Tofu, Eggplant with Shrimp, and Silver Noodle (Pad Woon Sen) with Chicken. All medium spice level, which was not too spicey at all... I found serving sizes to be large (vs what some previous reviewers thought). I will totally order Thai Basil to-go again in the future and perhaps visit to dine in if in the area as it has been awhile. Enjoy!"

"My husband and I both had Cafe de Bangkok bookmarked for quite some time and finally got the opportunity to stop by for dinner. We had gone in the late afternoon, around 4:30pm on a Saturday. As expected, they weren't very busy but had more people comeing in as it grew closer to 5pm.Our sever made some recommendations from their menu; we went with the Yellow Curry with chicken (mild / medium), Guay Teaw Nam Tok (hot), and roti bread. The curry was nice and thick with a good amount to chicken and potatoes, it also had really good flavor. I typically don't like much spice but agreed with the recommended mild/medium spice level as it added a nice kick. My husband really enjoyed the noodle soup. It had a nice broth that had a good balance of spiciness and tartness, it came with a nice filling amount of noodles and pork/meatballs.Overall, we were very satisfied with our food. Their menu consists of a lot of the traditional items you'd expect to see at a Thai restaurant but they have some that I've never heard of before as well. I'm looking forward to returning to dine here again!"

They are closed from 2:30-4 which makes it tough for me since I'm coming from work, but I had some errands to do in the area and visited just after 4pm. There were already a pair dining in when I entered. It's bigger than I thought and the interior is decorated nicely.The gal at the entrance took my order when I arrived and she was great. I usually order drunken noodles but they don't have this item so I got their pad thai with tofu and veggies. It took about 10 minutes so it was quick and I was on my way. The portion size was generous and it made two large servings, which was nice. However, the spice level wasn't what I expected (I got hot) and the flavor and sauce was lacking. The noodle texture wasn't chewy, more soft. I might try some other menu items in the future to accurately rate their food."

Update: Got takeout last night and did notice that the large Tom Kha Gai soups container is only filled half way, which is new. Normally the large is filled to the top. The trifecta - Thai Lotus, Authentic Liberian, and Otoyac are some of the best ethnic restaurants we have in the valley. I decided to try Thai Lotus after being blown away by the adjacent restaurants. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu. I ordered mild spiciness, but it was enough to make my nose run. I'd definitely go back again and try other items."

"I can't believe it has taken us so long to return to Charm Thai! My husband and I stopped in on a Friday evening around 5pm (we were both starving after busy days at work!), and there were plenty of open tables. There was only one server when we came in. Once we ordered, everything came out quickly! We had the tempura coconut shrimp appetizer - it was SO GOOD. Huge shrimp fried to crunchy perfection. It didn't even need the sauce it came with, although that was yummy too! When you check in on yelp, you get a free Thai iced tea - it was light and refreshing, and had a unique (to me) flavor. For our meals, I ordered the Pad See Ew after seeing it in someone else's Yelp review - it was friggen BOMB. I loved the garlicky sauce and everything about it. It was even good leftover the next day. My husband had the crab Thai fried rice. He enjoyed it, but he liked my dish better (as did I!). He cleared his plate!The food is definitely 5/5 stars here, and I would highly recommend, but service after we ordered was not great. No one checked on us once we got our food, and we waited about 15 minutes after we finished our food before anyone returned with our check."

I took that as a good sign!My standard Thai meal is Red Curry with chicken. If I like your version, I will be back. I might try something else, or I might not, depending on my mood. I ordered spicy level 3, which turned out to be just right. I got the heat without losing the flavor. Sala's version includes red and green peppers, zucchini, green beans, bamboo shoots, and basil leaves. It was as good as anything I've had back home, and made me realize how long it's been since I've had this dish!Drunken Noodles, Pepper Steak, and Cashew Chicken, as well as eggrolls, were ordered by the rest of the table. Everyone loved their dishes.The owner was helping out the waitstaff at our visit, and said he would be revamping the menu a bit in the next few weeks. There was one other family dining when we arrived, and a few more came while we were there.We ordered crab rangoons for our appetizers, and they came with a sweet and sour sauce. They were delicious! Crispy, hot, and creamy cheese/crab filling. For my entree, I chose the drunken noodles with tofu, spice level 4/5. My dining companion ordered their yellow curry with tofu, spice level 3/5.Our food came out and we dug in. My dish was not piping hot, but moderately warm with some hot spots in the middle. There wasn't enough sauce/flavors and the noodles were more on the mushy side. The tofu was cooked well and tasted great. My dish was not spicy, maybe a 2 or 3, so I added some Sriracha sauce. I tried the yellow curry and it was pretty good.Service was friendly and our waters were refilled appropriately. I may try different dishes if I return in the future, but in the meantime I will choose other Thai restaurants."
