"Valle Luna came recommended by a local. I tried to go one night to find the parking lot overflowing. I thought there's no way I could get in in a timely manner so I checked their website if I could order carry out. It seemed that was overbooked (or sold out) as well. I deferred to lunch the following day. They're known for their Fundido which is like a Chimichanga but with choice of meat and a lot of jalapeño cream cheese. I was told the chips and salsa were a must have too.I was surprised at the size of the place inside. Lots of seats. And lunch was fairly busy too, but nothing like the night before. I was seated quickly, drinks brought right away and order taken. The chips and salsa followed. The salsa was very good, and the chips were fine. They weren't quite the best I ever had but they were quite tasty. I made quick work of them too.The main meal came very fast too. The lunch special was enough for two meals and that's what I turned it into. It came with some lettuce and tomatoes, Spanish rice and refried beans.Arguably the Fundido might be the tastiest Mexican food I ever had. I had the shredded chicken it was an excellent choice. I scared down the half portion of the meal and paid. I was in and out quickly and the servers were kind and responsive.Another wonderful meal in Phoenix. I do recommend. 4.8 rounds to a well earned 5."
"We stopped by for margheritas and some snacks but didn't realize it was Fight Night (aka cage fighting on the screens). They said it would take 45 minutes to get seated, but it was so much quicker than that since the staff was organized and efficient. Hats off to them!We got 2 flavors of margheritas - prickly pear and watermelon. Both were delicious! Also ordered some chips and queso and a hard taco platter with beans and rice, which was yummy (though a challenge to eat).It was noisy and crowded, but loved the night time energy so didn't mind.Pro tip:Don't order the shredded chicken - I hear it's only average. Pork and beef were really great though."
One of the owners favorites! 2 corn tortillas rolled with cheese, topped with cheese with green, red, Xmas (combo) enchilada sauce, or poblano cream

"Social tap has made some changes to their happy hour menu and I like it .... Honestly they are a pretty cool location with an upstairs bar and interesting vibes to see around old town if the weather is nice. I thought our waitress was great actually and would definitely head back their wings are actually very good! Beer prices not too bad for OT !"
"Bummed with our visit yesterday. We hadn't been in forever and it just felt like literally everything has went down hill. Service wasn't the best our entire visit. We never received refills on any of our drinks...well except the beer; they did bring a second glass of that. Our table ordered the chips, queso and salsa for the appetizer, a burger and fries, the Arizona roll with jalapeño added as well as hot wings. Everything came out at a decent time. The chips and queso were good. The salsa had a decent kick to it. Everything else was awful. Burger dry and fries soggy. The sushi was mush and way too warm. Unfortunately even with the added jalapeño and spicy mayo it wasn't hot at all. The wings were over done with no real sauce. We all left feeling meh about it all. I'd like to try and come back and try again, but to me it's definitely not as great as it used to be. If you're there just drink the bar is great. Vibe is ok. Definitely a sports bar vibe."
"Went with a party of nine family members. There was a pretty long wait between ordering and serving, then the wait staff brought the whole order at once. Grandkid's nachos were cold, as was my chile (more like chilly) rellano plate. Only the seafood plates came out hot. I guess they were the last to be ready. Also, some complimentary chips while we waited would have been nice."
"I love that this neighborhood favorite still has a great vibe. The wine list isn't as extensive as it once was, but still some nice selections. Happy hour includes several food options. On this visit, we ordered the stuffed mushrooms and the extra crispy honey hot wings. This is kind of our standard order and then sometimes we also order the meatballs trio to share if we're still feeling a little peckish. Great lighting, friendly staff, consistently generous portions for the price."
"DillonsThis is the second of the restaurants I've been to and it is fabulous, but it is also located at one of my top three favorite zoos. Love the centerpiece fish tank.Love the food. Some of the best barbecue I have eaten in a very long time and the beans are my favorite.Gerry, Linda, Joy and Calin, you all made this place so fun, love the energy.I WOULD RECOMMEND"
"First time at Boondocks for a weekday happy hour business event. Sports bar with a patio. Located on a back street with ample street parking. Appetizers were tasty. Was happy they had Corona Free (NA)."
"Jolie's place is a well loved pillar of Chandler. I had the pleasure of meeting Jolie and celebrating her 12th anniversary of her business. You can see how loved and respected she is and how her patrons love to support Jolie's Place. Staff were very hospitable. Great outdoor seating. Plenty of parking. Lots of drinks to go around."
"I have been here a few times, only for lunch, mostly outdoors. The outdoor seating area is small but comfortable. I usually do not like to seet outdoors near a parking lot, but there has not been much traffic for lunch, and it has been nice.Their menu has good variety, and the fries have been on the above average side :) Service has been prompt and friendly. I recently placed a big order (pick up), which includd the bacon wrapped jalapeños (great!) which come with a sweet red sauce (chipotle strawberry).I am glad I ordered the (I think it is called Flat Bread) Pepperoni pizza, which had a 2 for 1 special. This pizza was great, the bread was not flat at all the it was in fact very appetizing.I also ordered a ribeye with cold macaroni salad and a loaded potato. That one was very good, particularly for the price. And, to my surprise, the steak was cooked to my satisfaction (rare). From all the things in that order, only one I considered to be just so-so, and it was the Hatch Green Chili Flautas (5). The flavor was good, they were crispy (I think flour tortilla), but the stuffing was barely there... and I did not see any sign of avocado (to be fair, I think it says avocad cream, but oh well)... plus... they are lots of carbs and fat, and barely any protein. I think they would be an awesome appetizer or meal if they had chicken or shredded beef/pork.Overall, I do like the food from here a lot, and the service is quite friendly.Parking is not very roomy, though... if that is important for you."
"Great ExpeirenceI visited Heroes Pub and Grub for the first time today with my lunch companion. We were both very impressed by the service and food. Heroes Pub and Grub restraunt is dedicated to our local Hero's, (military, first responders and teachers). Hero's Pub and Grub offers a varied selection of domestic beers in addition to a great selection of local & craft brews. On this visit we shared some BBQ wings, Arizona burger, onion rings, and pizza. The BBQ wings were my favorite. The wings were crispy, meaty, and flavorful. My lunch companion really enjoyed the burger, he said it was hot, juicy, and large, enough for two, and the onion rings were so crispy, served pipping hot, a perfect match for the burger. The pizza was also great, crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and the perfect amount of toppings. Friendly staff, tasty food, and good service. Nice place to grab a bite to eat and relax with family and friends."
"I found this neighborhood bar while in town on business looking for a place to watch college basketball. I sat at the bar. I ordered wings, fries and cider. The other patrons were friendly. I could tell that they were regulars. I met the owner. He was very welcoming and nice. The food was pretty good too."

We came here for trivia with a few friends. Total of 5 people at the table. For food, we got a quesadilla and the smashed potatoes. The quesadilla was pretty good and the Birria dipping sauce was seasoned well. The smashed potatoes were not as expected. For the price and size of what we got (pictured), was not acceptable. I wouldn't order these again. The service on this first time experience was truly horrible. None of us felt positive about the experience. Also being surprised by a combined bill vs split bills. When I approached the server nicely she said that they don't split bills fora table or 6 because there's 20% gratuity. I said we don't have 6 people, we have 5 and I said this is our first time here as well. She gave me a look but then split the bills. She ended up splitting the bills wrong for our friends but we were already tired and just wanted to leave. When paying with cash, they didn't even perform that correctly. I had to ask (to have the full $20 bill they gave me back), split so I could leave a tip (despite the horrendous experience). So many things wrong with this experience. I wouldn't personally recommend this place unfortunately. If you want a good quesadilla though, take it to go.

I came here on a Saturday for a date night with the wife. I expected it to be much busier but it was not. TVs had various things (some sports, some not) playing at the time.Service was a touch slow (i.e. maybe about 3-4mins before someone came after being sat) but wasn't looking to be served up quick.I got the Gordito Burrito and wife (vegetarian) got a Veggie Taco. The Gordito was actually very nice and had me wishing for more. Wife did not complain so that was a win for her.For drinks I got what was effectively a Long Island and I... Honestly don't remember what the wife got. But both good.Food plus 2 drinks each came to about 1 Benjamin.I wouldn't get too excited about this visit. It was nothing to write home about. But it was nice.

I came here with a large group of friends to watch the Ohio State vs Michigan game and we had a great time. We got a whole section of the back room since we had a large party. Our server was always on top of things and always checking on us to see if we need anything. We also all really enjoyed the food, especially their sushi!

"Wow!! This spot is a gem!! We happen to be in the area and dropped in for dinner. Casual ambiance, with good prices. There was a wait but we sat at the bar because it was available. Renee was awesome friendly, professional and really knew the food. The food was so good we ordered chicken tikki it came with rice and we plain and it was so delicious I will be making a point to stop in when I am in the area."
"This place was the ONLY place that had superb service out of all the places I visited while I was in Tempe. The $10 Cup O' Noodles Special is insanely priced. You get a cup of Ramen, a pint of Kirin, and a hot Sake for only $10. Heck, I sometimes pay more than that to dine at a freaking Mickey D's! And the cup of ramen that you get with this deal is big enough to fill me up. Yeah, you have to pay more for protein, it's still worth it.Our server was super cool and super friendly. I want to say her name was Ashley, but honestly, I can't remember. She was this super nice tatted girl in glasses with an awesome smile. Kudos to the only server in all of Tempe who actually provided awesome service!Next time I'm in Tempe to attend Innings Fest, I'm definitely making a stop here again."
"Updating my review! Jarred delivered and the pretzel is back on the menu! Great drinks, great food (pretzel, SoCal chicken and green chili chicken rolls) and great service from Rebecca! Best place around to "tailgate" for an ASU game or just come in to watch football, have a drink or a bite to eat!"
"This place is always packed, you will always see it be pretty busy and it's because it is your quintessential neighborhood bar with good food. Their wings are some of my favorites in all of the valley. I have never had a bad meal here. They can be a bit slow with service and take out can sometimes take forever, but over all the food is great."
"I have visited this bar a couple times, once on a date most recently, and previously had taken customers there I love this place, everything is top-notch, and the service is delightful. The servers make recommendations for things that might fit our needs and they are very thorough. We sat at the bar for a quick staycation, and the barkeeper was wonderful, she had sports on, and made sure we were taken care of quickly with both drinks and food. The main dining area and bar all are surrounded by patio. Seating outside, it felt like a very relaxed time, and I highly recommend the patio when it's not quite so chilly. But they do have warmers and try to make sure everyone is comfortable. We had old-fashioned and we had some fish and chips. Highly recommend!"
"Love the service at this establishment!! My wife and I have lived next door to Goldie's for about two years and we love this Scottsdale original bar/restaurant. They have TONs of TVs, large menu, game room upstairs, small game room downstairs for the kids but the thing that brings us back time and time again is the service. Specifically the bartenders. You sit down, they will acknowledge you, ask for your order then your name. BOOM! Now you know my name I know yours and it's almost like we're friends. They remembered us from the get go and now we're sad because we're moving out of the 'hood. We're going to miss you Goldie's but more specifically we will miss the amazing service. Thank you Amber for always asking, "does Miss Barb want a margarita to go?" She knows the answer is no but she tries and we always have a laugh. Be good and continue to be kind! Barb and Marti"
"This place is always a solid choice. I had the Tuscan chicken which was really, really good Also had the shishito peppers for an appetizer which were absolutely delish."
"Excellent food service ambience and love Dj was awesome too! I can see why it's always packed."
"I love their breakfast burrito. The service is great. The games are always on. There are bars indoors and outdoors. They have good drink specials."
"Found Lucky Lou's American Grill on Yelp and wanted to give this place a try. And I give it 5 stars and here's why:Wait Time: I came in on a busy Thursday night and I really only had to wait 15 minutes. I am not sure if that can apply to everyday but the speed and efficiency of the staff and the people coming and going was quicker than any other wait time from all the other places I've been to Staff: The staff are really chill and friendly people. They all seem to enjoy their jobs and it really shows as they are checking up on us and making sure it's good. It really gives a great vibe.Atmosphere: The atmosphere is pretty great. It's got a nice comfortable feel where you can hangout with friends or loved ones. Combine that with a good staff and pretty good food, there's not much else you can ask for.Food: I ordered the cheeseburger medium rare and with onion rings with a side of barbecue wings. The cheeseburger was really good, I felt like the onion rings were much better here compared to the other places I've been too, and I have no complaints toward the wings.Sanitation: Usually what prevents the places I review from attaining 5 stars is that there's always something gross, sticky, or something is off that makes the place feel gross. I'm glad to say I did not find anything dirty coming here and sitting down. So they got a good wait time, good staff, a great atmosphere, delicious food, and it's all clean. I had no issues with my experience coming here and it's places that don't give you problems that deserve 5 stars. Would definitely recommend"
"Just went to this wonderful restaurant for the first time Friday for a work lunch. A coworker had been here before and recommended it. We sat outside, which was perfect and had the pleasure of being helped by Taylor (who was awesome!). The food, atmosphere and staff were all phenomenal. Taylor was thoughtful in his recommendations, had good timing for checking in with us and made our visit fun and enjoyable. I also had the chance to talk to Curtis, the manager, and he was great as well. I highly recommend checking out All American and definitely say hi to Taylor and Curtis while you're there! Thanks for making our work lunch that much more awesome! See you next time!"
"Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers is as simple of a concept as they come. Good food, yes burgers and cold beer. It's KISS as they say. The pretzels are warm and tasty. Delicious. The shredded Buffalo Chicken dip (photo) has some kick and hits the stop. The Sirlon Sliders (photos) are really very, very good. But if you come here, you need to try their Shredded Buffalo Chicken Dip or Sandwich. It's has just the right amount of heat and is delicious. We've come here a bunch of times with friends and for their HH. The probably have more HDTVs then I have ever seen in one location. It can become crowded if ASU or UA are playing, but it's fun and can be rambunctious. All a good thing. Enjoy!"
"I went to see Rita Hamilton's band play on Sunday, 3/7, and the band was really good! My sister ordered fish and chips and fried zucchini and a mixed drink that was grapefruit juice and vodka. She liked her drink. I had a Ladmo Bag drink and it turned out to be a can of Wild Ness. It was good. We shared the food which was typical bar food but definitely delicious. The server was really nice. Because it was Rita's party someone went around and offered everyone strawberry shortcake cupcakes. They were delicious. I had a great time! Fun and friends and drinks and food. You can't go wrong!"
"My friend celebrated his birthday here last Sunday. There was a pretty large group of us and we took up the whole upper back area. It was my first time here. Parking anywhere in downtown Phx is a little confusing and sucks that they charge so much in some areas. I parked in the Fry's garage and walked over (pretty close). 3.5-4 hrs in that garage came out to $40!! There was some tables filled at the time when I arrived and then died down as the time went on. The party started at 10:30am for brunch but I didn't arrive til about noonish. 3 friends were dj'in so it livined up the place. My friend had purchased a package that came with bottles and food. I'm not sure how much it was. The bottles were all tequila so I didn't have any of that. I did try their expresso martinis and those were really good! Also had the breakfast sandwich which came with fries (forgot a photo). Surprisingly, delicious!! Service was great. Staff here were friendly. Everyone had a good time."
"Looking for something new to try with the family this weekend and we came across Bigs. We all love a little of everything and this place seemed to check it all off the list. We frequent this area and somehow missed this spot until our stop Saturday. The parking lot is fairly small, but we picked out and didn't have an issue. We were not only greeted right away we were also sat as well. We ordered some drinks while we looked over the menu to decided on what to get. The menu was great and with so many amazing sounding options it was quite hard to choose. Since there were four of us we decided to start with the Sampler Platter which came with jalepeno poppers, chicken tenders, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, Mac n cheese bites, fried zucchini and potato skins. It sounded like a lot for sure, but we figured it would be like any other restaurant and they'd skimp on portions. Boy were we WRONG. Our server came out a bit later with it and we all about died lol. It was the polar opposite of small and even with all of us trying we didn't make a dent. The table ordered half rack ribs, sausage pasta, wildcat burger and a cheeseburger with bacon. Everything came out looking amazing and again portions were huge. Marge seasoned fries they came with my burger could've fed us all. The fries were seasoned well and crispy. I loved them. The start for me was my burger the Wildcat. I love to try new things and it came with pepper jack cheese, green chili, grilled jalepeno and chipotle mayo. I know what you're thinking. It was not as spicy as it sounds, but did have a great kick to it. I was able to finish a good amount of it, but I took an entire to go container of fried home. Our server was wonderful and not only kind but efficient. We didn't have to ask for anything. All the employees we witnessed seemed to love their job which is awesome. No one was standing around and getting the job done. There is a full bar as well. There are tons of tvs for sports as well. We really loved it here, but if you're looking for small portions this is probably not your spot. If anything I'd order something to share if you're not a big eater. Great family night out. We definitely left full, happy and ready for a nap."
"Went here for weekend dinner yesterday and loved the overall experience. Overall I would recommend this place if you are looking for a typical sports bar. Here are my takes:Food/Drinks: Sprimp dinner was good, same as cheese curd that my kid liked. However, the flatbread was disappointing and lacked flavors. The beer blend option was unique here and they have a good selection of drinks option. I can definitely go here again for drinks. Service: Our server was so sweet and she lived up to our expectations. Came to check on us many times and was very vocal in suggesting and recommending as well. Ambiance: Loud just like many sports bars but has a nice decor theme with a bike hanging from the ceiling too. Hygiene: It was good in our opinion and experience. We did not use the restroom so can't comment on that though.Price: Prices are average like in other places & no concerns."
"We went for trivia night and met some friends there. We had never been before, I was very impressed. Lots of TVs music families all having a good time. They also have outside dining in this weather. We chose to sit inside to play some pinball and some pool Was a great time. I had a."
"This place is right next to Medieval Times. Our printed out reservation stated the wrong time so we popped in here for a cold drink. They were very accommodating and quickly threw together a table for ten. We only had drinks but were very pleased with the friendly service."
"Went here the first time with my mom and it was pretty good! The pretzel bites were my favorite! The cheese dip made it as well!! Would absolutely go back just for them! Margarita pizza was nice and fresh as well! Waitress was very nice! I will say our food took a little long which we kinda had a time crunch so was a little frustrating to see people next to us get their food faster then us especially when we did order a appetizer...But overall would go back!"
"Great staff, and strong cheap drinks. I wish there were a couple more TVs and pool tables but it's always a great time. They even have Karaoke nights and "name that song bingo". Nice clean bathrooms"
"Great neighborhood bar vibe. Fun, casual, plenty of beer on tap, lots of TVs with sports on. Lots of seating inside and out. Service is good.We had just want you'd think and you'd come to a sports bar like this for . . . burgers, fries, wings and beer. They won't let you down. The food was tasty, beer was cold and servers checked on you regularly.I recently moved to the area and everyone kept telling me Lakeside Grill was the place to go. But, I'm here to tell you Crossed Eyed Cricket is much better."
"Glad I came Across this PlaceWe were in the area visiting friends and shopping and ran across Vinny's, and I'm so glad we did. This was our first visit but wont be our last. On thevvisit we shared the Spinach tortellini Fettuccine Alfredo, pepperoni pizza, sauage sandwich, with a side of homemade garlic bread in an olive oil dip bowl cannot be beat. Everything was delicious. The pasta and sauces were flavorful and prepared perfectly. The Bread was hot, fresh and plentifu. My dinner companion said the pizza and sausage sandwich were the best he's had in a long time. The Sausage is made on site and was perfectly flavored.Wait staff and food was amazing! Perfect place to relax and enjoy some great food and atmosphere! If in the area, you need to stop on by. You'll be glad you did."
"I've been here a couple of times; it's a sports bar/restaurant. Usually I get a burger, but on this last visit I ordered the Southwest Mac & Cheese and added chicken to it. It also came with garlic bread. At $12.99 for the mac and cheese alone, and another $4.29 for the chicken, it is pricey, but let me tell you, it was AMAZING, and I don't use that word lightly. I've had worse tasting mac and cheese at fancier restaurants. There were jalapenos in the mix, which gives it that southwest "flair", a couple different cheeses, and the ample sized chicken pieces. They used penne pasta, not the traditional macaroni, which I rather enjoyed, as the noodles seemed to hold onto the cheese better. The portion size was perfect for me; I didn't even finish the whole thing! (Leftovers are yummy.) The garlic bread was tasty, but average. Rounding out my meal was a happy hour margarita for $4.25. Delicious!Since I visit Phoenix every year, I know I'll be back...good service, good food!11/2023"
