"A really good meal. This was our first visit to Gadzooks Enchiladas and soup and we really enjoyed our meals. The employees are amazing at walking you through how to select the food, step by step as you build your meal.Fadzooks offers so many mix and match options to choose; from toppings to the type of tortilla. Quality ingredients and amazing flavor profile. On this visit I ordered the pork enchiladas with green sauce, corn tortillas, cornbread, and both cheeses. As much as I enjoyed the enchiladas, my favorite was the sweet and spicy cornbread, it was delicious I will definitely be back for more.If you're in the area , stop in you won't be disappointed"
"I really love this place! We went there for Mother's Day dinner tonight , my choice of course! We were lucky as they still had Peking Duck available ( I had forgotten to preorder). It was so delectable. The duck was moist, tender and perfectly seasoned. Nicely nestled in light and airy buns, topped with plum sauce and scallions. All for $49 and could easily feed 4 people. We however couldn't pass up also ordering our favorite orange chicken w/rice. So needless to say we left with enough left over for an excellent lunch for 2 tomorrow. Mother's Day extended play version! Thanks China Chili for another great meal."

"I like the condiment bar. The wait can be quite long since this is a popular place. There are lots of hot pot places opening up these days. Perhaps this may make the wait less due to people going to other places. At a hot pot place you cook your own food in boiling broth at your table. They have a few different options on the menu for your broth. You can't change it once selected at the beginning of the meal. You get your own veggies at a station in the center of the restaurant. They bring you thinly cut meats from the back. A lot of it is fatty but it makes the food taste so good and soft. I like that I can mix my own dipping sauces from a station in the center of the restaurant. This adds more flavor to the meal. Otherwise I think it is bland. The staff is patient and fairly quick. It can sometimes be really loud when the restaurant is full of people."
"Super fast and delicious food.Customer service is perfect - they checked in to make sure food was good then left us alone; how I like it.Looks like a family owned spot, which I love to support. Got the salt and pepper shrimp with fried rice. They are generous with the amount of shrimp they give compared to many restaurants who over leverage veggies, to make make the dish larger. Will be returning"
"Average in pricing, but good size portions. Had a couple of pho entrees and both were delicious.Very casual atmosphere, small dining area and great mix of clientele. Young and old, couples and families and all seemed to be happy and comfortable.Don't go if you're looking for formality. But do go for an actual 'good food' experience."
"My House Chinese Restaurant is a culinary haven known for its quick and efficient service alongside its authentic Chinese flavors. Dishes like the Green Jade, Szechuan Beef, and Kung Pao Shrimp are standout favorites, each delivering a burst of deliciousness. With its speedy service and mouthwatering dishes, My House ensures every visit is a delightful experience for all.Ambience is calm and good to enjoy your meal peacefully."
"We were craving some Thai food for lunch and there was a few options, but we settled on this one. This was my first time at this restaurant and there was enough parking spots on a weekend afternoon. There was one other family dining when we arrived, and a few more came while we were there. We ordered crab rangoons for our appetizers, and they came with a sweet and sour sauce. They were delicious! Crispy, hot, and creamy cheese/crab filling. For my entree, I chose the drunken noodles with tofu, spice level 4/5. My dining companion ordered their yellow curry with tofu, spice level 3/5.Our food came out and we dug in. My dish was not piping hot, but moderately warm with some hot spots in the middle. There wasn't enough sauce/flavors and the noodles were more on the mushy side. The tofu was cooked well and tasted great. My dish was not spicy, maybe a 2 or 3, so I added some Sriracha sauce. I tried the yellow curry and it was pretty good.Service was friendly and our waters were refilled appropriately. I may try different dishes if I return in the future, but in the meantime I will choose other Thai restaurants."
"Randomly found this Thai restaurant. I recommend you to try Drunken noodles, potstickers and banana fried ice-cream for dessert. Food tasted so authentic and good. Ambience is neat and clean for dine-in.I feel the Quantity is less compared to other Thai food restaurants and service was ok."
"Always delicious, the chicken pho and egg rolls are my favorite! Service is always friendly and the food comes out so quick. A must try if you are in the area and don't forget to get a Thai tea or Vietnamese coffee! So good!!"
"I have been sleeping on Gadzooks for a few years now. I thought... "soup & enchiladas, I don't get it".... until I was injured and could only eat liquids. First order was delivery through their website by way of Yelp. I ordered the tortilla and the corn chowder.... added deluciousness to the tortilla and left the chowder as was with the lava sauce on the side. They're not joking about lava on the salsa. I added a bit too much to a plain chowder and it was far too spicy for me...Next time, I ordered the potato enchiladas and chicken tacos, again through the app. They were out of potato, I learned when the dasher deluvered the order with a missing item and I called the restaurant. I don't typically eat meat and the tacos weren't for me. I was bummed the restaurant employee was unaware of how I placed the order, considering I did it direct on their site. So, the communication was not relayed until I called. I am not dropping points because it was so good, a bit salty for me but not overly so. As I said, the guy over the phone was pleasant and answered the question quickly about why I was missing an item and had already refunded the amount. I will order again, or go in."
"Stopped by here after a long day. The food was very tasty and quite delicious. The service was excellent being one person was taking care of the restaurant. Great job! Good came out rather fast as well. The only down side of why I gave it a 4 star is because the dirty dishes on the cart was not a good site as well the top of the Sriracha bottle was crusty and gross. I will definitely go back because the food was really good."
"We ordered here once before and I recall the food was good. It was a bit of a drive, but we tried it again tonight. I wish we hadn't. Pan-fried Potstickers - Good and a nice caramelized char around the edges. 5/5Orange chicken - seemed to have a heavy amount of some seasoning, maybe a 5-spice seasoning. Not sure if it was star anise or fennel seeds, but it was off-putting. 3/5Sliced pork- the color was a little pale compared to most other restaurants, but the meat was tender. It had more of a sauce than a glaze, but it was decent. 4/5Mongolian chicken- We ordered it non-spicy. Ended up throwing away a $14 entree bc it was inedible. The entire dish was covered in spicy sauce and no one could eat it. I guess it's possible the sauce is inherently spicy and cannot be made non-spicy. But if that's the case, I wish someone had told us. We would have ordered something different. Now we had someone without an entree, and he is the one who drove all the way to pick it up. 0/5Fortune cookies - not a dealbreaker of course, but a nice treat normally. These were extremely stale and ended up in the trash."

Excellent! I've been wanting to try this place literally for years and just haven't been able to convince my boyfriend to go. We saw a Groupon for this place and decided to finally try it. What an amazing experience! This is a similar concept to Chipotle in that you "build your own" enchiladas or tacos. I ordered the lunch special which comes with two enchiladas (or tacos) and a side. Both were made with braised beef on corn tortillas. They are smothered with your choice of sauce and cheese and then placed into their oven. After this, you can add whatever toppings you desire: different salsas, more cheese, pickled onions, crema, cabbage slaw and a few other options were available. For my side, I chose the cornbread. The food was BURSTING with flavor! So many different layers of flavors working in harmony. The beef was EXCELLENT and absolutely delicious! I really wish we would have tried this place sooner. Don't make the same mistake as us! We will definitely be back.

My first time here and I glad I came! My family had a birthday celebration there for a party of 15. The service was great. The food was great. The inside was nice and clean. This is a great place to eat. They are large portion meals so we just all shared what we ordered.

Our brother was visiting from out of town so we had family dinner here the night before he left. It was an excellent experience. Besides the stove kind of slow at boiling the broth which made me dad unhappy the food was good. There were plenty of food to choose from the buffet line and the waiter came check on us regularly

Much better this time! When I'm in the mood for Vietnamese, nothing else will do. We started with our usual spring rolls and egg rolls. Both were good! This visit, I wanted beef, so I decided to try the Wok Fried Tenderloin. It hit the spot! My wife had the Stir-Fried Vermicelli, also very good. And I noticed they had Berry Smoothies and a variety of Ice-cream Sandwiches. Yum!

Portions are great for the price, and they don't skimp out on the protein Pretty casual atmosphere; there's areas to sit and dine in, or you can take it to go.First time I went here, I tried the Shrimp Lo Mein--absolutely banging. Fresh and hot, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and it wasn't too salty. Second time I went here was today, and I ordered the Shrimo Chow Mei Fun to go--just as good, great portions and ratio of noodles to veggies and shrimp, and service both times was speedy and friendly. The only thing is... in this most recent order I found a few scraps of steel wire/steel wool, likely from a scrubber or steel sponge I thought it was garnish at first until I went to pick it up. Not gonna knock a star off because (1) I get it, stuff happens even if we try to prevent it. I didn't ingest it, and all I had to do was just pick it out; no harm, no foul, and (2) everything else about this place is great and I'd love to go back and try more dishes (namely the Mongolian beef because it looks delicious)!Just try to be a little bit more careful when cleaning out your equipment, and you'll be golden

Nice, solid Thai experience with wonderful service. The building looks like a refitted old house with a small parking lot on the property. We ordered Tom Kha soup with tofu, Pad Thai with chicken, Papaya Salad Bangkok style and Spicy Basil Noodle. We did level 3 out of 5 for spiciness. It was perfect, plenty of heat but not so hot that you can't enjoy the flavors. The servings were large and the 4 items were more than 2 people can eat. I thought the prices were also very fair for the quality.

The staff here is consistently friendly. The food is also consistently delicious. This is my family's favorite Thai place in the east valley. We come here to get Tom Yum Gai soup when we are feeling unwell. The soup is arguably more helpful than chicken noodle when you are under the weather(Google it). We have tried multiple dishes here and have loved all of them. Highly recommend

"I visited Surprise Pho on a whim. I craved for vietnamese food and called ahead to place my order. They were helpful in helping me figure out the menu. Since I was in a time crunch I had to make sure the food would be ready. They had it readily prepared for me to eat. I got the hot stone bbq ribeye. I love a hot and sizzling plate. I'm not sure but when I had it for my dine in option.. I was hoping to hear the food crackle and pop. But surprisingly it did not get that effect. I ate the steak that once cut into pieces with onion and bell peppers. It was more like a peppered steak dish. It was mediocre, but I'm assuming it would've been as bomb dot com if they had put it hot on the platter and kept the ribeye steak intact and cooked to our liking. I got the shrimp spring roll, it was rolled thick. It helped make me feel full. I appreciate the customer service at this restaurant. I think they can improve the dated interior. I hope they can better their food. But for anyone in the surprise area who doesn't know pho and vietnamese food like I do, the price is a good options for a quick grab and go."
"We enjoyed a Delicious meal at 5R Cha. I had the Teriyaki Chicken and my husband had Chicken Rama. Also, had pot stickers and the Thai Sweet potatoes for appetizers. All was very tasty!! The service was also fast and efficient! We will DEFINITELY go back!"
"We started with the fresh shrimp spring rolls and my combination bowl was excellent! Packed with flavor. Reminded me of my favorite Vietnamese place back in Seattle. $16 for my entree, too big to finish. Ingredients were fresh, flavorful and portions were very large.Clean tables & bathrooms. Great service."
"Hands down, best Vietnamese food I've had in Phoenix area! I'm always in Mesa for Korean food (as I'm Korean) but discovered Saigon Jade today based on all the great reviews. Most of us got Pho Tai--it was delicious and abundant. The egg rolls were tasty and fresh. We also ordered the grilled pork platter with rice wraps--definitely worth a repeat. We will be coming back to this restaurant again and again. Great for kids families too. Super clean and wonderful, warm customer service. Truly a gem of a place."
"I've been a couple of times. Soooo good! The food is absolutely amazing. No complaints here. And my favorite appetizer was the buns. Everyone is so nice and service is great."
"I was pretty stoked to see they have sesame beef on their menu. This is one of my favorite Chinese dishes since I was a kid but few places sell it. I ordered it with extra sauce (won't make that mistake again) (see pic). It wasn't like the sesame beef I was used to but it was pretty good. Here's where the low stars come into play. They didn't give me the white rice with my meal, no utensils and no fortune cookie! WTF?! And get this... with $2 tip it was just over $16! Never again! I'm pretty pissed off to be honest."
"You really can't beat the unlimited salad, soup, and breadsticks. That's our go-to meal here. I love the salad, and yes, I could easily make this at home, but it just isn't the same. My soup choice: their minestrone; it's great. And, those breadsticks, I try to control myself, but it's unlimited, so I have a few. A word of warning: you do pay for the any sauces you order with the breadsticks. I'm a little upset with our waitress for asking it like a sauce came with the breadsticks, but I guess I should have known! It's Olive Garden...The inside is like every other one that I've visited: Olive Garden Italian."
"Went to this cute place while visiting my daughter at ASU. Convenient location with lots of parking in the back. We ordered the vegetable pho and boy was it good. Vegetables came on the side with a spoon chopsticks and plenty of napkins. The broth was a perfect combination of savory and salty. Everything was fresh. The decor was modern with a huge TV on the wall showing still shots of exotic locations around the world. There was table side service and our plates were cleared promptly. When in the mood for pho don't pass this place up."
"We order takeout. Called in our order. We were given a wait time of only 15-20 minutes for dinner! Food was ready when promised. Some items did leak. That included leaking through the cardboard box they put everything in. Vegetables were all fresh. All were cooked leaving a bit of a snap to them. That can be hit or miss with fast Asian food. Was happy to find this hit. Also happy to see such a healthy amount of vegetables. Lemon chicken was a hit with the kids. Chicken was prepared like sweet and sour chicken, but instead came with a lemon sauce. Mu shu beef itself was enjoyable. The "crepes" that came with the mu shu beef were straight up tortillas. (Either that or very thick and floury.) My youngest thought eating Asian food with a tortilla was awesome. Lemongrass chicken had a very healthy feel. Though it was on the salty side. Lo mein was one of stars of the night. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Vegetables were also plentiful. For quick takeout, T & J is a solid choice."
"Very, very, very casual and low key. You might even say they are cut from the old school Chinese restaurants. But if you're craving Chinese, not looking to make a big deal out of the dining experience and better yet need a go-to takeout Chinese restaurant, you've found it.We had the Kung Pow Chicken (level 5 which was not at all challenging if you are hesitant), Hot & Sour soup, spring rolls and Orange Chicken. All of it was delicious. We definitely will be going back especially for take out. Served right on time and fresh."
"I have this place on speed dial. The food is NY style. The pork fried rice is to die for. Great combo specials and lunch special. One of my favorites is Singapore rice noodles."
"We've been to Quiessence before but hadn't explored The Farm Kitchen until recently, when a huge number of our friends all had babies within a few months of each other and we were looking for places to enjoy a nice brunch with possibly screaming babies. The Farm Kitchen is a perfect place for kids, with large grassy areas for running around while parents picnic. This isn't a place to grab food and go - it's more of an "order food and cocktails and sit around for three hours enjoying your weekend" vibe. Bring large blankets and a diaper bag and you can spend a nice afternoon here with 1-2 month olds.Menu-wise, I enjoyed the soup+sandwich option, with some form of meatball soup paired with the chicken BLTDA. The prickly pear margaritas and vodka coolers were also a hit. The Farm Kitchen is less about the food though, honestly, and more about enjoying the nice winter Phoenix weather at a place with grass and trees."
"I adore this restaurant. Every worker we have ever encountered has been friendly and helpful. My husband usually orders two enchiladas. I am a nacho lady. I highly recommend ordering a double layer; they will put a layer of chips, then a topping and a cheese, then bake it. Next, more chips and more cheese and a different topping for the top layer, then they bake it again. So amazing. I also like the margaritas and the cookies here.Make sure you sign up for the points and rewards, it is pretty easy to accumulate and get a free entree."
"Bakery that has been in business for almost 30 years. One location. Bread, pastries, food and cookies. It seems that there are a lot of regulars who have been coming here for decades! Staff is friendly, willing to offer advise and suggestions. Breads are good, but not spectacular in my mind. I tried olive bread and chili cheese bread. Gluten free blondie was great! Also they do not serve coffee although I would not call it a minus!"
"Food 3/5: pho broth is on the basic/bland and sweeter side. Disappointed the brisket was cooked already so it was tough. Steak pieces were half fat pieces. Bun Bo is too bland. It's weird they mix the hoisin and sriracha. Noodles were a good texture. Spring rolls were ok.Service/ambiance: we did take out"
"World of Sourdough makes really great sandwiches! The customer service was quick and friendly and the prices are on par. We got a turkey sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese. The sandwiches are piled with meat and fixings and the bread was perfect! The Mac n cheese I would pass on but would definitely stop in again and grab another sandwich!"
"We have been to this Chinese restaurant since they opened. I would recommend them, especially the chicken and broccoli. Their service has been phenomenal and everyone that works there is very nice. I usually do take out but every time I pick up the food their lobby is very clean and organized."
"Dinner special combination Orange chicken with Lo mein.comes with one egg roll one cream puff and one exiting prophecy your future might withhold. (Fortune cookie). The orange chicken was supper crispy. Loved it. Wish the lo mein had a little more flavor, Still very good. Small family owned business. In a rush? Call it in. Took 10 min to get my food. They are quick. Oh and they take Apple Pay."
"It used to be fabulous and one of my favorite Asian restaurants for takeout. They are always very fast and portions are decent."
"Seeing that my last review was over a decade ago, I think it's time for an update and an extra star too... Sacks has three locations but this is the one close to my home that I frequent often... If you're seeking a fresh, filling sandwich or salad in a casual environment, look no further than Sacks! This local biz has been serving up delicious meals for over 25 years!Ten years later, I'm still a huge fan of their Cobb Salad and their balsamic dressing... I also still love their egg salad and tuna salad too. Also a sweet treat (chocolate chip cookie) with every meal is such a nice touch.Service is friendly, parking is easy, and prices are fair.Last I checked, there is not wifi here for customers, so you may want to disconnect and enjoy your lunch or take it to-go. Either way, I'm sure you'll enjoy!"
"Started off with a tomato cream soup which was really good not spicy not too hot had the right amount of croutons in it and came with a side of bread for dipping purposes. No complaints at all. For dinner I had a tuna salad sandwich or something really good whatever they put in the tuna salad recipes. The bread that they put it on with outstanding had some greens and off the fine tomatoes and side of potato chips. Cannot complain and what is a little loud but not too bad and was a good meal. A nice change from the junk and grease"
"We stopped in before a round of bowling because we were starving. The place is modern and clean, and the staff was pleasant although it is counter serve. I ordered a Boba Milk Tea to refresh myself from the heat. It was pretty standard. We started with the Potstickers which were crispy and hot. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, which was pretty good. Nothing extraordinary but good. My Dad got the BBQ Pork Fried Rice, and he said the pork was pretty fatty. I tried a bite and the pork was definitely not the best quality.Clean interior, good service, pretty standard food. Nothing amazingly good or bad."
