"I planned my bestie's bachelorette in Scottsdale and dinner at Olive & Ivy was one of everyone's favorite meals of the trip! It was super easy to call and make a reservation for 10 girls on a Saturday night. It was nice that, unlike some other Scottsdale restaurants, there was no food & bev minimum to hit since our party was so large.We ordered a bunch of items to share, and loved all of them! This was a perfect order for us because we had minimal leftovers too. :)- 2 black truffle arancini- 2 crispy brussel sprouts- 2 beet salads- pesto chicken flatbread- white truffle prosciutto flatbread- 2 Japanese sweet potato- 2 rock shrimp tagliatelle- 2 sea scallopsMost of us also had two rounds of drinks as well and the final dinner price was suuuper reasonable, I believe around $65 per person! Would love to come back if i'm ever in Scottsdale!"

"We stopped in Pita Kitchen on July 4th after a day of shopping. Honestly we didn't have high expectations, we were hungry and it was close by. I was in the mood for something other than pizza and burgers. We underestimated this establishment!!! We walked in and it's a small dining room with tables and a few booths. The menu wasn't super huge but had some great options (my gf is vegetarian so I love that they had the veggie pita) the prices were right on point so we ordered. Man.... The food was SOOOOO good. The wait wasn't bad, and the food came out piping hot. You know it was freshly made. The French fries reminded me of high school, you know the good battered French fries?? The veggies in the pita were grilled but still crisp and delicious. The falafel was the best I ever had, moist inside with a crisp outside. Not dried out like most! And My rice bowl was huge for $14! And came with all the toppings. The garlic side sauce was delicious as well. I had to get extra before we left. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. I will 100%. Be back!"

Tender, juicy, scrumptious. But what about the sides? Also delicious. So homey, fresh, and tasty. And the sauces? Yup, they also are on-point. Authentic and delectable. 2. Quantity: Talk about a great deal! You get a lot of protein, sides, sauces, and toppings at a killer price with the Plate option. As someone who can put down a lot of food, I appreciate how much bang you get for your buck here. 3. Service. The owner (or who I believe was the owner) is so genuine, friendly, and caring. And with the build-your-own, assembly-style setup, you get your meal right away!If I lived in Tempe, then I'd come here every single week. So happy that my wife and I found this spot!"

"Dee-licious Jordanian food!I love that Scottsdale has so many choices of places to eat. De Babel would be one I would consider to be near the top of my list. It's moderately priced, outstanding food, and some beautiful food. You will walk away full, satisfied, and looking forward to more food to eat the next day. It's very family friendly, too.The pita pockets are obviously handmade, thicker than I am accustomed to, and filled with good stuff: your choice of meat, cucumber, tomato, pickle. Several members of our family went with gyros meat. I picked one filled with grilled halloumi. We were all very pleased.The fries are beyond heavenly. Not only are they their own fresh cut potatoes, they are seasoned beautifully. We got two side orders of fries and could not keep our jaws from dropping when they arrived. Super crispy. Huge. One of the orders was the amazing truffle cheese fries. These are beyond reproach. All in all, two orders were more than 6 of us could finish, even though we tried hard. But yes, get them anyway! And definitely bring them home for a second and even a third chance.We ordered a mixed sampler, the Mixed Mezza, a beautiful, generous platter, which came with hummus, baba ganoush, tabouli, falafel, stuffed grape leaves, and pickles. The baba ganoush was so smoky good, the stuffed grapeleaves were moist and flavorful. We added a side of okra that made me giddy. It is stewed with tomatoes, garlic, and cilantro until very tender. I need to remember to cook it that way at home now that I tasted it.The only thing that I regret was not getting to taste the fried cauliflower and their crispy za'atar pita chips. Well, I guess lamb and lentil soup might have to be in consideration, too. I guess that is for when we come back, which indeed we will!"

"Virtu was on my list for so long that I had no idea what to expect when we finally went this past weekend. Unlike the rest of Old Town, parking was easy and we got a spot right in front of the restaurant.We were seated on the patio and I think this is the way to go here. I never went inside but every time a door opened, it seemed very loud. Plus, the patio is adorable and romantic.We did the prix fixe tasting menu and I definitely recommend it. The amuse was a cannellini bean soup that was an impressive start. My salmon crudo was fantastic and a bigger portion than I was expecting. The lemon sorbet palate cleaner was just perfect. My sea bass was perfectly prepared and expertly seasoned. Husband was equally pleased with his duck. We ordered the mesquite noodles outside of our tasting menu choices because we were curious and I'm glad we did - it was interesting and yummy. Desserts were also a standout.Service was pretty relaxed and we started to get worried about getting out in time to make an 8 pm show but we let our server know and they made sure to get us out of there on time.We will definitely return."

It was strong and unique. I really liked it. My entrée was the shrimp ghallaba which had shrimp, peppers, onions, tomatoes, carrots and rice and hummus. It was flavorful. The portion was quite generous, and I had to take some of it to-go. Hubs had the gyro and he said it was okay. Before leaving, I just had to try the baklava - we ordered it to-go and proceeded to eat it in the car on the way home. It was delicious! In fact, we wished we had ordered two!"

"While out and about on Saturday afternoon we decided to stop by west gate for some drinks and possible food. Our first stop was a dud and the music so loud our ears needed time to calm. We saw Opa Life and no wait so we decided to give it a try. We were greeted and seated right away. The noise level was great and a few TV's at the bar were playing sports. The menu is small, but had some great options. We weren't too hungry as we'd ate earlier in the day so we decided to share the chicken souvlaki skewer which comes with two sides. We chose the Greek salad and rice. We ordered some beer and water. Beer was cold and water refreshing. Our food came out quick and was plated phenomenally. From the first bite to the last it was all delicious. I'm so surprised at the lack of customers. It's bright and clean inside, service was good and we had no issues. The other patrons inside seemed happy as well. This was our first time here and of course I've not tried other menu items, but I felt portions were huge and enjoyed it. The servers I will say looked bored, one sitting chatting with someone not sure if customers or owner, others just grouped near the front. Hopefully it's not this slow everyday."

"King Gyros is an an excellent place to go for food simply because of the portentous portions. I got a gyro plate with no onions: it included two pita breads, some tomatoes, a small salad, fries, and lots of gyro meat. I am not a fan of salad so I was pleasantly surprised by how great the salad was. I thought the fries were average. But the gyros and sauce were excellent. I tried out the deep fried zucchini and it was above average. Overall, I couldn't even finish the gyro plate because there was so much food. My whole order came out to $18.46."

We are our daughters guest of honor as a globalist, so breakfast is included each day.I have had both the avocado toast and the spinach and sun-dried tomato tomato quiche and they are beyond fantastic. No boring breakfast foods here. My husband has had two egg breakfast and this morning he had the eggs Benedict And both were fantastic. Their potatoes are absolutely perfect crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside.The service is impeccable, your coffee cup will never be empty and it is a peaceful ambience early in the morning.They do bring you a Nutella filled beignet, little mini ones to have with your coffee. How special is that?Highly recommend, especially if you have benefits, as it is quite pricey, if you do not!"

"We came to Flint to celebrate our anniversary. I'd marked this on my Open Table reservation and I was super impressed: the restaurant reached out to me ahead of time to ask how many years we'd be celebrating. They made a big deal out of congratulating us repeatedly, offering us free champagne, dessert etc. They even had a sweet card on the table for us. It was all very considerate of them and very much appreciated. My husband and I were thinking the same thing tonight: salad and a kebab. He ordered the Flint Chopped Salad and Honey-Harissa Chicken Kebab. I had the Little Gem Caesar Salad and Filet Mignon Kebab. My salad was underwhelming. It had a lot of bitter lettuce, the breadcrumbs were tiny so you couldn't really taste them, and the cheese was almost nonexistent. I felt pretty let down by that, but the Filet Kebab made up for it. The meat was three large, delectable chunks of prime beef. They were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Our server had suggested putting the very pungent sauce on the side which was a great call. That way you could control how much you want to dip. Speaking of our server, JP was so wonderful. He approached us with a huge, welcoming smile and could not have been any sweeter all night. He gave us great suggestions and of course, offered the freebies for our anniversary. We enjoyed the cheesecake for dessert and then JP wished us many more happy years together. We appreciated the excellent service here."

It's kind of a bit pricey for lunch because they don't have lunch menu, so pretty much you pay the same for lunch or dinner.Yup it was a bit disappointed."
