"Have not been to Durant in many years. This landmark restaurant has been around for more than 70 years. Still has the old school ambience. Same red decor and entrance through the kitchen.Stopped in for weekday dinner. Service is exceptional. Had a prime rib end cut with baked potato and salad. Shared a calamari appetizer with friend.Food was very good. Prices were moderate to high but comparable to other high end steak houses. Good place for lunch or that special dinner occaision."

"Plenty of parking at Perk Eatery as it is located in a strip mall by Safeway. Casual breakfast/lunch spot that gets busy on the weekends. Service is attentive. The menu is what you would expect with breakfast, salads and sandwiches. The last time I was here, which was about 2 years ago, the special was pecan pumpkin pancakes and that is what it was today too! We both ordered the tuna melt with a side of fruit. This is a sandwich not an open faced melt. It had a particularly good taste that I thought was the bread but my dinner mate thought was an ingredient in the tuna, either way it tasted great! Prices are a little higher than other breakfast places in the area. Two tuna melts and a latte came to $37! They do add on a credit card surcharge, but I used cash so this did not apply to me today. I think they could include a little more for the price but overall it is a solid breakfast spot."

"Go in and experience Happy's Hamburgers!This place is as incredible as you hear it is. We went here and ordered some burgers, fries, tots and classic Coca-Colas that did not disappoint!The ambiance in this place is incredible. It literally feels like you went back in time to an old-school burger restaurant with the black and white checkerboard floor and the jukebox they have. Loved it!Food came out HOT and tasted delicious! Loved the fries, the burgers (and steamed buns) and service was quick and friendly. I'll definitely be back to try the chilidogs and more burgers!They also have a wide variety of sauces you can get lost in!"

"JoJo's had been on my radar for a minute or two. Although after working so hard to lose alot of weight over the past year and a half I take a moment and truly think about my splurges! We had our grandson in town for the summer and after a day of golf we decided he deserved a treat.. enter JoJo's ShakeBar! Parking is never fun here in Scottsdale Quarter, but the garage is close to the entrance of the stairwell that is close to JoJo's so there is that! We also loved that there is a takeout window right outside. We weren't eating outside on this scorcher of a day in July! The staff here is super nice! The decor is cute. The music is blaring! First note.. it has a very 'bar' feel to it and I wasn't expecting that. We were sat despite that we didn't think on an afternoon on Sunday that we may need a reservation. Oops! We were advised that they may need the booth back in an hour and we thought we could accommodate that. Take a page from my book: make a reservation if you want a booth. Our waitress again.. super sweet. We were a bit indecisive but our little grandson went for the largest most colorful shake on the menu.. and it was Pride Shake. I got a basic 'smaller' Basic chocolate shake, (as I had a feeling that I would be helping in the finishing of said small child ordering a shake larger than his head with cake on it!) and she asked if I wanted to 'booze it'? I love that, but no, not with a child with me! My husband ordered a larger than life shake too and I don't remember what it was. There was an issue with the ice cream machine and we waited for a very long time... I am talking almost an hour. To the point that we watched other customers leave. We thought about leaving too, and our waitress apologized profusely. Our grandson was having fun playing the retro video machines, but I had no idea it would take so long for a couple of shakes. The 'Biggie' Shakes range are about $14 in cost.. some have booze and some don't, which is extra $. A 'Basic' Shake, like what I had is $10.. a bit steep for what it is.. Do not get me wrong, I love a great shake and ice cream is my favorite dessert! I do not think my shake was worth $10. I do love the concept that this is a diner feel with great shakes that you can bump to booze versus not. There are cookies and diner bites and a midwest diner feel. I do not like the pricing for being a midwest place. I did not like the wait that we had after being told we would have to vacate the booth in an hour. So after all this time of waiting for this treat.. this treat underwhelmed me. But as long as my grandson liked it.. He liked the colorful shake he got and loved the cake, but just as I figured he did not like the fruity ice cream and didn't finish the shake... haha.. I did!!! ;-)"

"Been wanting to try this place for some time. Running pre Xmas errands in the area, so stopped by for late breakfast.Wife ordered a senior special, eggs,sausage, and 1/2 a waffle. Waffle crispy, eggs perfect, and delicious fat sausages.I had the chicken fried steak. Came with eggs, hash browns, and a pancake. Eggs were a little overdone. CFS was good, hash browns needed help. Unevenly cooked, not crispy. Nothing terrible but I've had better.Prices are reasonable, service was fine. Place seemed clean and pleasant."

"After driving back from Wilcox early this morning, I checked on Yelp and found this diner serving breakfast.This place reminds me of the many Greek diners in NYC and I immediately felt at home.Valerie was an amazing waitress, brought everything I needed and was very sweet and kind to me.I had a veggie omelet with home fries and rye bread. The rye bread was really amazing and everything else was good as expected! I'll definitely come back again to this place as service was very good and welcoming and the food was pleasant. Plaintains we're excellent as well. Chicken was moist and full of that delicious jerk seasoning. Fried tilapia plate - Tasty breaded filet of tilapia with a sweet and spicy sauce! Comes with rice and peas and a salad and wifey loves it.Beef Pattie - like an empanada but better! Full of tasty ground beef and a light pastry outside. I'd eat one of these everyday for lunch! "This is our nearby diner. It's not at all fancy but it's exactly what I want when we go for breakfast. The food is tasty and the staff is friendly. We had 6 of us and easily found a table for us. This is the kind of place that has regulars who've been coming for years. Quiet and relaxed place with easy parking, very no fuss. Large portions. We shared the Hungry Man breakfast- 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage, hash browns, 2 pancakes, and a side of biscuits & gravy. All my faves."

We ordered spicy noodles, crab rag-goons, spicy salad, the fried rice and chicken as our protein, some pork ribs, and the seafood dish. It's hard to say which was my favorite because it was all so delicious. Chefs kiss! The staff and service was awesome as well. Oh and they give you great portions and it's not too pricey. "This spot has been here FOREVER. It's your typical hole in the wall diner with super friendly service. I will say the servers here were the friendliest ever and treated everyone like family that walked through the door. The inside is very dated and so are the booths. I am pretty sure I had a spring digging into me the whole time lol I will say the place was clean and the food was edible. There wasn't much seasoning on the potatoes, the pancakes were decent and fluffy and most importantly they made my over easy eggs correctly. I find a lot of places mess up an over easy egg. Overall, don't expect fine dining but expect to leave with a full belly and not a hole in your pocket. Service was friendly and the food arrived super quick!"

"This little food truck from heaven has been parked across from Driftwood coffee in downtown Peoria. EVERYTHING we have had from this food truck has been perfection. A few are pictured here and others we have tried not pictured are breakfast burrito, berry shortcake, Bronx battleship. My favorite thing is the ranger roll. It's the stuffing from a crab puff with REAL crab! It's literally heaven served up with a sweet chili sauce. The kids said the Mac n cheese was the best they have had and their battleship could feed an army. It's legit a sandwich on a whole loaf of French bread! The owner is super friendly and really has something good going here. Come out and support a local small business!"
