"I came across this place on accident the other day when I was trying find a different coffee shop, and I'm so glad I did! It is located in the Newton plaza, which also has some other restaurants around. Parking is available, but it's not a huge lot. This book store had a wide variety of books as well as gifts, and other unique items. They also have a bar that serves coffee drinks and alcoholic drinks. There was a cooler with seltzers and beer for purchase too! I tried the Bluberry Matcha for Sal and it was delicious! They make their own syrups and the blueberry one was very tasty. Definitely on the sweeter side, I would probably ask for less syrup next time, but so delicious! Mia was very helpful, and also let me sample the White Mocha Latte Ale they had on draft. It was very unique and flavorful. I also talked to Peter at the Changing Hands area of the store and learned about their book buy back program. I'm thrilled to have learned about this spot and can't wait to come back soon! Highly highly recommend!"
"What a great experience. Some of the best paella I have had in years and the steamed mussels were AMAZING! Next time we are in the area we are coming back for sure."

"My wife and I went to Mariscos Cazo de Oro last week. This is a place that could be easily overlooked. We walk inside and find a rather casual place (not bad). It kind of looks like a palapa or bar in the inside with a stage for a band and perhaps karaoke. We were originally greeted in Spanish by the attendant. Not a problem, as I know Spanish. Eventually another person came by and took our order (thank goodness he spoke English). We ordered the following:1) Camarones de cucaracha. This is a bit of a strange name, as literally the word cucaracha refers to cockroach. That was not the case. The camarones (shrimps) were grilled perfectly. You could eat them head and all. They were tasty.2) Parrillada Mariscos Mixta (Mariscada). Mixed grilled seafood. It has some oysters, squid, crab, shrimp, and conch. It was grilled with a bunch of peppers and onion. It was good. This is enough for two people. Even that was a bit of a huge portion size for me. Overall, the food was very good. My wife, originally from Vietnam, had no problems with the seafood, and found it very fresh. The only thing worth noting is that I do not drink alcohol. As a result I did not drink and beer or anything. Perhaps what we ate would have gone well with beer, but I do not drink alcohol. My wife and I had a good experience here. It is a small, casual, place. We will definitely come back here. We just hope that this place gets more business, and is able to stay open. We want this restaurant to be profitable and stay open. They need more business. If you are a little adventurous, and ready to try something dramatically different. Go to this place. I bet that what you experience will be very similar to some kiosk or walkup in Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) when it comes to seafood."
"I love this local authentic Italian restaurant. I stopped by for a late takeout dinner after work one day. I had the daily special, a fresh made italian classic that is not normally served everyday. I have for folly pasta with Bolognese sauce topped with a dollop of ricotta cheese . It was fantastic! The richness and depth of flavor of the sauce combined with the creaminess of the ricotta cheese served over the freshly made fa pasta was the perfect combination. If you love, Italian food, authentic, Italian food, you really need to try this place."
"We were sat down immediately upon entering with a reservation. The DJ was on point serving up the sounds. The mimosa flight was good and it was nice to have the option to substitute flavors if you prefer. Food was good and the portions were just right. The only downside was the food was not temperature hit when it was served."
"OK. This is more interesting. It's not my favorite bar BUT their food is good. Great burgers. Great entrees. Good drinks, etc. My best friend demands that we go here and I've never been disappointed. Staff is really nice. Ladies are friendly. Soooooooo it's worth a stop and a burger for sure"
"Here's the deal - if you are a county line dancing dive bar kind of person - then this is your joint. I am neither of those things - well a good dive bar isn't something I would shy away from. The regulars are very territorial and make it a tad uncomfortable. The live music is great but it seems as though people know when to go so that they grab a table for the entire night. We have never been able to grab a table and watch the band. Food is ridiculously priced and the service is awful. Try getting someone to take your order #impossible I think they take pride and the place being sub par. This is now a go to for my husband and his guy friends - they don't care as much as I do.I hear they now take cards now which is helpful"
"Fun place! They had dough riders here and live music tonight. It was extremely loud but fun! I like mead but don't know too many places that carry it, so I was excited to have it here! I had a blackberry mead and a honey mead. They were both really good! My husband had 2 IPAs and enjoyed them both. The crowd was definitely a little older, my husband and I are in our 30s and we were the youngest people there. It was cool though! I love cider corps and I'm glad there's a place that sells their stuff closer to me now! We will definitely be back here!"
"Was brought to this location based upon recommendation.... BUT had no idea what type of establishment it was... there was 2-3 bouncers checking ID and then letting you in. They had a bar at the front of the entrance and a life size beer pong (with garbage cans and a soccer ball) then as you venture inside there is a couple more bars areas (although one was closed) and additional games like cornhole. We had ordered 2 drinks and 2 beers and it was $60. Super pricey, but if you are 21 and have money this place is for you. Don't think we would venture back here on our own."
"A fun spot with a beautiful view of Camelback! Service was quick and efficient, and I was impressed with their selection of mead. The spot is small and hidden, but the drink list is extensive with something for everyone. They have a selection of food, as well. Will be back for sure!!"
"Small cute corner restaurant with outdoor seating.Food was delicious. Saigon salad with pork is served in a large plate with fresh veggies and lots of meat.Their braised pork is served in a small cast iron with a side of rice. Meat was very tender but wished it was served on top of rice so all the juicy sauce gets soaked onto the rice. But it was still delicious. We got half off pho for Happy hour before 3pm on the weekends. The broth was so good. Tasted like there wasn't msg added but tasted homemade like how my mom used to make it.Note: we are a family of 5...tips were already included.Overall the ambiance and the cute decor and most importantly the food makes me crave to see what else the menu has to offer."
"Great venue to see bands and love that the music stage is higher up and right behind their very long and spacious bar. It makes for a really nice view pretty much anywhere you are in this venue but especially at the bar. I came to see a friend play in his cover band playing songs from the Pretenders and Pat Benatar and could see everything so clearly! Service was good and they have plenty of drafts to choose from. There is also a happy hour menu from 4pm - 7pm. There is pepperoni pizza for $10, but I wasn't in the mood for that. I wanted some protein and had the chicken wings with the dry rub and that was very well made. Probably not something I would eat frequently but every once in awhile is okay. Bathroom and venue were clean. Overall, this was an excellent spot to enjoy some music, food and drinks and I had great company!"

Such a great environment to work and enjoy great food/snack and drinks. The staff is pretty friendly as well. The best part it's also connected to a bookstore so if you need a well needed break it's a great spot to look around and find trinkets.

Beautiful decor and romantic ambiance. The acoustic guitar music and low ambient volume was nice. We tried the six tapas with paella. The tapas were delicious with each item pleasuring our palates. We also learned that we don't like paella. The salty sausage was overpowering. The food was a bit overpriced ($166 for two of us with tip and no drinks.) They do not offer a veteran's discount.(

Came here for a birthday dinner and loved it. Feels like an authentic experience. Pizza is thin and crispy and salad is really light and pairs perfectly with it! Had the caprese appetizer and loved it. It's the perfect starter to a great meal!

Excellent food, service and ambiance!Ambiance - We came on a Thursday morning and they had the music and vibes going. Hip-hop and dance songs. DJ booth on deck but no DJ spinning while we were there. Decorations were centered around hash tags! Service - We were quickly seated and Teresa provided great suggestions! And the FOOD! Everyone loved their food - from the 5 year to us old heads. From kids french toast to carnitas hash to cocunut french toast to pancakes to bacon and eggs - all delicious! And one of the versions of the hash browns is like Mikey D's with the crunch rectangle deliciousness.

Came to see Carvin Jones a few weeks ago when I heard he was playing here. I've lived in Buckeye 22 years and I always thought this was just a little dive bar with a couple pool tables. Much to my surprise it's actually very decent size with a couple inside bars and large Dance floor and stage for live music. I found out they mainly have country there and some cover bands. That part is heart breaking because there's so much potential here and we need a good west side venue for some Rock Bands. If ever waddels decided to expand their genre of music, I am available to help make that happen.Plus.. The Food here is EXCELLENT!!

In Arizona looking for a brewery and came across 1227 Taproom. Service was great, loved when they open up slide up doors and let the cool air in. I ordered the sours and they were good m... watermelon and blueberry I recommend. Also the ciders were good, recommend the blueberry flavor one. They even had someone singing in house that night

"From CA and when looking for seafood thru yelp this place was one the 3 options. Read reviews and were exactly as experienced.Service was friendly + location clean.Used my 10% yelp discount and no questions asked! Way to go!. 7 mares was tasty and warm enough.Camarones con crema- ah just ok. Modelo beer was very very very cold. Loved it. Did I say a very cold beer ?! Highly recommended . Bye bye AZ"
"Decided to go out for dinner in Scottsdale and have had pretty good experiences with going to parties at The Roaring Fork.It was a weeknight so we receded immediately and decided to sit outside. They do have a fairly nice patio on the side of the building. The service was very good the restaurant was clean Little on the expensive side but the food was well prepared and worth it.We will definitely be returning for a meal sometime in the future."
"Hubs and I stopped in here for lunch. The Phoenician is a beautiful hotel with a great course. There is a parking garage with a beautiful walk to The Tavern. Every employee we encountered was super friendly and there wasn't a wait when we stopped in. We ordered the classic Tavern burger, shrimp stuffed rigatoni and Mac n cheese. The burger was cooked perfectly and was super juicy. The tots were crispy and seasoned well. The shrimp stuffed rigatoni was full of flavor with plenty of shrimp stuffed into the pasta and crab on top. The Mac n cheese was nothing special but the kids enjoyed the leftovers lolOur server was so sweet and efficient. I don't remember his name but it started with an M. The place was clean, food tasted great only downside is prices are on the high side. Overall a nice spot for a meal."
"Headed over here on the word of my twin. Country music in Arcadia. Well as usual, he's right. Went in on a Friday. Bellied up to the bar and the music started at 7. The stage is a great use of tiny space. The entertainment fantastic. Beer is cold and a nice draft selection and of course longnecks. The staff was attentive and nice. If you're looking to enjoy some fresh music in Arcadia head on over."
"I enjoyed this new addition to the area. It's a cute place to grab drinks and dinner, although their food menu isn't huge. The vibe is general Italian American inspired. They serve a predictable lineup of bruschetta, sandwiches, and a couple salads. I enjoyed the melon and prosciutto salad, and my friend had a sandwich. I was surprised it wasn't served hot or toasted, but the side of soup is a nice touch. They also have a deal on bruschetta and a bottle of wine on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Their drinks are named after a dominant ingredient/flavor, which is a fun motif. If the bartender warns you the Juniper is spirit forward, she's not kidding. The Coconut is fruity and sweet, and my friend and I both loved the Lavender. Presentation is simple but cute, and the decor is adorable. There are choices for vegetarians, although I wouldn't recommend this spot to someone gluten-free. Service was really attentive. The prices (and the parking situation) are on par for downtown. I intend to return for cocktails again!"
"I ordered from DoorDash having seen it's a highly recommended spot - so glad I did. I ordered the vegetable samosas and the aloo matar and both were so good! I loved the sauces, the flavors, the heat...will for sure be adding this to my list of Indian spots!"
"I'm a big fan. Friendly staff, consistenly good cocktails, yummy menu with plenty of veg friendly options. Loved the Yuzu & Miso cocktail- a little tart, a little savory, adorable served in a soup bowl. Cucumber salad is great to share- generous portion with crispy cukes tossed in a spicy vinegar sauce with yummy crunchy bits. Tofu fish and chips are also really good, esp with the addictive tartar sauce- big enough for at least two people. They have a nice little outdoor patio for when the weather is nice. But imho, the best seats are at the bar where the knowledgeable team is happy to chat or answer questions about the menu. Recommend!"
"On our way to see Hamilton at ASU Gammage, we decided to stop in to Society. It was early, so no reservation was necessary. Not wanting to sit through a long show on an over-full stomach, we decided to share an appetizer and entree. We started with the meatball appetizer. The meatballs were moist and delicious. The house-made sauce with basil oil and balsamic reduction pushed the taste buds to the edge! So good! We shared the burger and delicious fries. Two thumbs up, with a definite "would order again" review. The place is eclectically decorated- comes together nicely. The bar has full service food and was charming. I will certainly be back. Great place with excellent service. What else do you want?"
"This is a restaurant inside the new Omni hotel in Tempe. Everything is brand new, beautifully decorated, and clean. Ambiance is on the nicer, trendy side but can also could be casual. This is my first time dining here but second time visiting this location. Both times, they had really great service. My husband and I went on a Sunday night and we were the only people in the dining room. Not sure if that coincided with the high level of service, but I was impressed regardless. The staff were all younger but they were all very helpful and professional. They were dressed the part and acted the part. They were quick and got us seated right away. Bradley was our server and he was super attentive. He frequently checked in on us, made sure our drinks were full all the time. When we took a break from our food, it's like he could read our body language and came over and moved us into the next phase of dining The food itself was pretty good. You can see that they know what they're doing. I got the oven roasted chicken and it was super moist. I feel like chicken is a good test of a kitchen's culinary skill and this place made good chicken. The skin was salty and slightly crispy. The saltiness was a little extra for me since I'm sensitive to salty food but it was a good balance a more subdued chicken. The gigantic bed of mashed potatoes underneath was also really good. The bed of salad had a light vinaigrette, enough to flavor and not overpower. The mac n cheese had an interesting flavor. Of course it was perfectly creamy and cheesy but also had a light lemon flavor to it. Super subtle. My husband's salad -- He enjoyed it. I took a small bite so not sure if I could speak about it. I loved the tres leches. Really moist and sweet. Had some tangerine bits that helps to balance it. They do have a bar seating area at the entrance. I did have a margarita. That was probably the worst part of the dining experience but didn't bother me enough to effect the rating. I'd try another drink next time. It's on the newer side and I had a great time. I'd love to see how it does over time."
"If someone was visiting from out of town and asked me where they should go for authentic Mexican, I'd point them to Las Glorias. Atmosphere was quiet and homey, service was sweet and fast, and the food is where it's at. They brought out complimentary salsa and beans at first. I ordered the carne asada combo, and what a deal. A variety of food on one plate for under $20. The steak was so rich, the tortillas were fresh and warm, and the cheese was sizzling. I was really pleasantly surprised!"
"When you find a gem like this place there is an internal struggle - shout it from the mountain tops, or keep it to yourself? Here I am shouting from the mountain tops- this place is too great. Service is great. Ambiance is great. Food was amazing. What else do you need? Can't wait to go back- a lot."
"Came in for their coffee & pastries from 8am to 3pm. They do drinks & dinner 5pm to 10pm.I loved their chai with cardamom. It was strong, spicy, and delicious! The guava danish pastry was good too.Their parking lot is tight and limited. You may need to park along Grand Ave or within the nearby neighborhoods.Came back to try their drinks & food with friends, and they loved it! The Tacos de Birria was the best of the bunch. The Yuca frites, and Santa Quesadilla with Huitlacoche (corn mushrooms) were good too.The Carajillo was the best drink (espresso based). El Verde Peligroso was good (citrusy, tart), and the Diablito Descarado was alright (spicy)."
"We have been wanting to come here since 2003 when my parents relocated to Prescott. In 2015, when we moved to Chino Valley, we stopped in one trip and were given a tour. Finally made it with family and friends last night. What were we waiting for???? The owners are sweethearts and our wonderful waitress Michelle, second night serving, was amazing. Food was fantastic! Cannot wait to return! Thanks to all you all!"
"New restaurant in the Roosevelt Row area by the owners of Gadzook's Enchiladas. Let's just say it's bright and sunny inside with fun touches and colorful accents. Our server was friendly and welcoming while not being pushy. The chips were perfectly salty and the guac was good. The enchiladas were just like the ones at Gadzook's, but without as many combos. I didn't personally try any of the drinks but they had some fun looking concoctions. All in all a great addition to the area."
"We are new to the area and we heard about this area. We are used to Lakefront , coming from Missouri and Lake of the Ozark's. It was busy inside and we found a place at the bar. The bartender took our drink order quickly and gave us some menu's. They needed more than 2 bartenders because it took awhile to flag her down again to order food. I ordered the beef over mashed potatoes which was delicious. The reason for the 4 stars is my wife ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and got a chicken sandwich. We did not say anything as it already took 25 minutes to get our food. Overall a good experience, a little loud with the music but I get it."
"The vibes here are awesome! It was the perfect stop for a bachelorette party. Drinks are pricey, but they were good. We didn't have any food, but everything that was coming out looked amazing. This place would be at the top of my list of suggested places to visit if you are partying in Scottsdale."
"First time at the Collins at this location. Stopped by for happy hour but decided to have a quick pre-concert dinner. Bar was pretty noisy but dinning area was pleasant. Service was excellent. Shared a Bacon & Brussel Sprout appetizer. Grilled Chicken and Brie Sandwich with Fries was the dinner entree. Have never been disappointed at the Collins."
"This is an excellent Italian Restaurant. My first course was the Insalata di Spinaci (Spinach Salad). The salad was delicious and perfectly dressed. The complimentary bread that came with the meal was outstanding. For the main course, I ordered Fettuccine Della Casa and Penne all' Arrabbiata, both dishes were incredible. The service at the restaurant is top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you enjoy Italian Food."
"The restaurant is very clean with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We did go inside to check out the menu and there were plenty of gluten free options. I was a little afraid to try the gluten free options today but will definitely be back. Please see the pictures of the menu. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. The ladies were nice to us even though we decided not to eat there. Can't wait to come back and try it out."
"We came here Saturday evening for an anniversary dinner and were extremely impressed. The restaurant itself is unassuming and tucked away in a strip mall but it might be one of the most exciting culinary things going on in Scottsdale. The summer menu is impressively fresh with nothing feeling heavy. Dishes are on the complicated side and we discovered the true magic is getting a bit of every ingredient in every bite. We didn't love every single course but they were all artfully combined and presented. Each dish is a work of art. Service was great and our server took us back to the kitchen to meet Chef which was unexpected and neat. The only negative things I can say about the evening are... I had a dish with shrimp that was overcooked which was a shame because the shrimp would have been amazing otherwise. The gift bag at the end is confusing. It contained two bottles of water and two tiny cookies. This is definitely a solid option and we will be returning."
"I feel like Original Hamburger Works was hyped. Was the food good? Yes, but nothing wow worthy. The spot was pretty dark and on the older side. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, appetizer foods etc. We ordered burgers and fries. I do like the condiment bar they have. It was well stocked and gives you the option to make yourself a lettuce wrap with all the veggies possible. The fries were okay, could've used some seasoning salt. The meat was fine. Overall we left full and it wasn't expensive."
"Dirty Dogg saloon We drove past this place many times and today we decided to stop. It is very unfortunate that it is another victim of Covid. It's a biker bar and it looked so fun but there was only one person there. So sad! I personally feel that if you are at risk stay home but I want to support the small businesses and the employees that are trying to survive. Wash your hands, wear your mask, social distance, and whatever you do, don't sing.Elizabeth thank you so much for making our first, but not our last visit there. It looks like a very fun place to be when things open up. We will come back to see you.I WOULD go back."
"We came in for a late dinner and I immediately loved the vibe. The outdoor seating looked very relaxing for a nice evening out, but I'm glad we actually got seated inside, where it was the perfect balance of lively, cozy, and intimate. We loved our server, Garrett, who was friendly and had great suggestions for food and wine.We got the ragu (rigatoni with pork rib ragu, garlic, basic, and burrata) and the affumicata pizza (charred tomato, smoked scamorza (cheese), garlic, and basil). I thought the ragu was pretty good, but the star of the show was the affumicata pizza. My friend couldn't stop thinking about and talking about it, even after dinner. It was like he had an out of body experience while he was eating it and he savored every last bite. For dessert, we had the torta, which was an olive oil cake, topped with apricots, whipped cream, and marcona almonds - yum!Throughout the dinner, we had a front row view of the guy making the pizzas. He didn't seem rushed at all in making the pizzas, it was like his form of relaxation. The name of the restaurant sounded familiar, so I looked it up. It's by the same owner of Virtu Honest Craft, which is a restaurant in the same area.I would come back and order the pizza."
