"Like the concept, but wasn't as impressed with the product.I tried the cookies and cream and snickerdoodle and neither were better than the giant tub of cookie dough I buy at Costco for $8. We also bought a PB square that was good, maybe 4/5 stars. They had two vegan flavors and the rest used pasteurized eggs--so "safe" but still egg."
"Christina is amazing. I ordered a two layer Sesame Street-themed cake and two dozen cupcakes from her on short notice (2 weeks) for my son's 2nd birthday and she delivered, literally and figuratively! I sent a picture of a cake I found from another shop and she nailed it, possibly better than the picture. She is timely, professional and detail oriented. Most importantly, her creations are beautiful but she doesn't sacrifice flavor, everything tasted great! Thanks for our yummy treats Christina!"

"They never disappoint!! Ordered twice so far, they always do a great job everyone at our parties love their cakes!"
"Super Friendly! Excellent authentic baklava, I think it was $14/lb.Small Middle Eastern grocery market with fresh baked Iraqi flatbread. They also have produce, beverages, frozen Arabic bread (pita), spices, teas, snacks, and can/jar food items. I highly recommend!"
"As soon as you walk in you are greeted but not like welcomed. I didn't expect to see the fresh baked pastries! Everything is from scratch. I can't wait to try the chocolate mousse cake. I did get the Italian and my hubby got the Londoner everything tastes amazing made with care!! I'd definitely recommend trying this place"
"Sweet tooth heaven. Enough variety sure to please everyone. They sell individually or multiples. We tried 4 in a box. Little pricy but very rich cookies; little goes long way. Enjoy! Highly recommend."
"Each year, I am looking for a place that has the creativity to make beautiful custom decorated cakes but also one that tastes delicious. Why does it have to be so hard???This place is recommended for wedding cakes, but they were great helping me with my daughter's birthday cake. I worked with them via email just to see if they could make a simple design and to get a quote on pricing. Very gracious experience and saved me the trouble of driving to the physical store. The prices are a bit expensive which I expected since they do weddings, but the reviews made me keep an open mind. They also allowed me to come by to sample a few of the flavors which was awesome so my daughter was sure of what she wanted before we committed to the order.I was told to place the order a couple weeks ahead since they do book up, but that was pretty standard for this kind of work. They asked for a 50% deposit which was also fine with me. The end result was perfect! I opted to add the cake topper decorations myself so they gave me a simple design which was executed perfectly. They were very flexible to work with. The cake was a devil's food cake chocolate and was so moist! The filling was a raspberry compote and equally delish. My kid was happy and the guests enjoyed their cake and Mom was left satisfied with a new place to order my future cakes from in the future."
"These cookies were SO good! I got the 4-pack and had two chocolate chip, one peanut butter and the other was birthday cake. When I picked them up, they were fresh and warm. The packaging was in a super cute box with Halloween paper and a personalized note in the bag. I will definitely be ordering from them again!"
"I had my birthday cake made here. Three tier vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and whip cream. Just perfect and not overly sweet. I told the the colors I wanted and left the decorations to them. The cake was beautiful and on too of that the cake was delicious! Best part, the price blew out most other bakeries out of the water. You definitely should try this place. This will me my place from now on to order all of my cakes."
"Located inside Lee Lee Oriental Supermarket, J. Fortune Bakery sits next to the produce and baked goods section. They make a number of steamed buns, cakes, breads, and pastries Asian style. The wedding cakes looked gorgeous. The woman in front was very helpful with my selection of goods to take home. I love green tea buns, bbq and savory buns, and red bean paste buns. These are so good and they had each and every one that they make by hand. She suggested a rolled green tea cake, which I thought was going to be a bit much but when I got it home, it was so light and creamy. It was filled with a green tea whipped cream. Yum. I ordered steamed chicken buns and the bbq buns, which were moist, soft, and had very light but good flavors. The red bean paste buns were more dense and had a great sweet red bean flavor. The prices were pretty reasonable as well, I had a small bag filled with goodies for $12. A definite must stop whenever I am at Lee Lee's! Also, ask for a discount card. After you collect 10 stamps, you get a $10 free reward. I am not sure about the expiration date, so you will have to ask."
"This place is awesome! Got some really good bargains. I think for every $6 you spend you get a free loaf of bread. Found all kinds of good snacks such as Boston cream honey buns, Moon Pies, cream horns, powdered donuts, fruit pies, and snack cakes. They have really good rolls, buns, and a variety of breads such as potato bread, brioche bread, and butter bread to name a few. The employee working here was very friendly too. I intend to come back soon!"

My husband and son really enjoyed themselves here over the weekend. The service was great, the inside & outside was so cute and decorated with lots of Christmas decorations for the holidays. I snagged a few bites myself and the cookie dough & ice cream & even the marshmallows were fresh and super tasty. I don't think you can go wrong no matter what you pick. We will make sure to stop in again next time we are around this part of town. A little side note: You cannot order ice cream by its. It has to be paired with the cookie dough.

Incredible baker!! We used A Bakeshop for both our wedding cake and desserts. They are EXPERTS when it comes to gluten free cakes. It was so good our guests could not even tell the difference. I loved the cactus macaroons and everyone ate the churros and brownies too. Would highly recommend using them again!

Stopped by this bakery to see if they had some soup bowls and some desserts for a get together. They unfortunately didn't have the bread bowls that were available online, but the woman was very helpful with amazing service. We even sampled one of their breads to get an idea of the bread similar to the bread bowls. The desserts looked extremely appetizing and presented wonderfully. The taste of the handful of pastries, cupcakes were decent but not "life changing". They didn't have much in terms of dairy free allergies except thier breads. Give them a shot as this is a cute bakery that I'm sure you'll find something to satisfy the carb craving!

Right outside of AMC theater is this incredible cookie place. Made fresh. You can get one or a variety of cookies for later. Delicious now or later, it's a great treat for you and your loved ones. No indoor seating but there is outside seating and of course where it's located you can find seating all over the desert ridge area. Worth the trip (and calories)

I ordered two dozen cupcakes for a birthday party and as always, Piece of Cake never disappoints. The ordering was seamless and over the phone (knew what I wanted) and because I was having a friend pick them up, that was noted with the order. We love their Churro cupcakes and I had 12 of them. This cupcake is a moist cake, covered with their cinnamon buttercream and topped with a tiny churro. I also got their chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting, which are always moist and sweet and just the bomb! Highly recommend their cupcakes!!!

"This bakery was pretty busy on the Sunday morning we went to visit it. We found this bakery on IG and were like kids in a candy store. They had a lot of Hispanic bakery goods I have never seen before. We got so many different varieties from baked goods, geletina, and tortillas. All of the goods we bought were fabulous. My favorite was the Rosca de Reyes bread!' The best I've ever had. It's got an extra flavor and it was so soft!! I was sad we only got the small one. I was lucky enough to get the baby Jesus twice. (Side eye). If you're in town, make this place one of your stops."
"Dangerous!!! Best pie in Arizona hands down. We tried 6 different pies here including blueberry, razzleberry, peanut butter chocolate, key lime, apple, and chocolate cheesecake. Every pie is so darn tasty; it's impossible to pick the best one. Every pie tasted fresh and fruity ones had lots of chunky fruit. Sweetness level was spot on, not too sweet yet sweet enough to be satisfying. It's going to be difficult to stay away from here especially when they have 3 locations in the valley. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The shop also serves coffee and gelato. Enjoy! Highly highly recommend!!"
"Awesome personality! Great service! And beautiful work. The cake came out unreal! I highly recommend her and her work!"
"Long line is a good sign. Once I entered inside, the whole place smells like freshly made breads. Yes, they just made those breads and pastries. I planned to get my go-to cheese danish. Fortunately the person behind me told me that they have the best pretzel croissant. So I ordered both and they are so delicious. Cheese danish here is not the same like other places. It is not too sweet and I could taste a bit savory of the cheese. Pretzel croissant is so so good. It is not hard like other places and I could not stop enjoying it."
"Hadn't stopped into Hava Javae in ages! But had just gotten a blowout at Drybar just next door and had to walk away with a coffee. They have an extensive menu and they're happy to really adapt to make you anything you want. I was greeted by both individuals in there and was quite chipper about it.On the left side of the pictured menu (which I will take A pic of next time) there seemed to be some specialty drinks, and as I was on a Zoom celebrating Hispanic Heritage month, I opted for a Mexican Mocha (which she let me know they add chocolate, cinnamon, and milk of choice to) with oatmilk. I noticed the oat milk is $1 more as opposed to the .75 for almond, soy, coconut alternatives. She said "it's a hot commodity these days" - she wasn't lying. Nonetheless, I grabbed a medium and it was a large plastic cup. The large is extra large, and the small still looks pretty sizable compared to other well known coffee spots... I always ask for light ice because I don't like my cup to be filled with ice more than coffee, and she was glad to do that, and asked for a smaller pump of chocolate, so as to watch my sugars. She made it quickly, and it was definitely yum. Wasn't the best Mexican mocha I've had but the cinnamon was wonderful. I couldn't tell you what was missing, don't get me wrong, it was definitely delicious but I was ok. It was so delicious in fact that I ordered another with an extra shot and half sweet for my friend as a surprise and she LOVED it. She said it was perfect and was absolutely going to wake her up.The service and coffee were tasty. And I heard a woman rant about how it was one of the first coffee shops open in Phoenix! So there is a long standing history with the place. Come try a cup, and try the Mexican mocha and let me know what you think!"
"Adorable dessert place Downtown Gilbert. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. I was having difficulty deciding what ice cream to get with the cookie dough I chose for the 50/50 and appreciated the staff recommendation. (The pistachio cookie dough was GOOOOD!!). The scotcharoos are amazing - just like my grandma used to make!! Everything looked very clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back!!"
"My brother discovered this hidden gem on Doordash last June. The first time we ordered we were pleasantly surprised at the prices and how delicious the treats were. After a few orders we actually found out how close they were to our house, they operate out of their home kitchen. Everything here is SOOOO YUMMY! They have fudge, cosmic brownies, an assortment of cereal bars and more. One night my mom and I were going to get Crumbl Cookie but they were closed on Sunday and sure enough Cosmic Sweets was open and ready to take our order right away! They were super efficient and had our treats ready to go as soon as we pulled up. The owners are so nice too! I highly recommend checking them out if you like a good deal, sweet treats and friendly people. I can't wait to order again :]"
"What an absolute community gem this place is! Their coffee never disappoints. I have been going here consistently since I've been back in town and enjoy their cold brew, drip and matcha. I love that their matcha is unsweetened and high grade. There's not one thing I've gotten that I haven't liked. The homemade granola, biscotti, cinnamon bun and sandwiches on croissants/bagels are delicious. This place has incredible attention to detail when it comes to their recipes. The staff is always so friendly, warm and welcoming. The aesthetic is charming, relaxing and comfortable. All the things you want in your local cafe."
"I've been here a few times. It always seems to be busy but love that you can grab a tag, sit down, and order and pay at the table. I've had the cold brew and banana bread latte (ordered it half sweet), both were super good. I like the eggs with prosciutto and mushrooms. It's very different than anything I've ever had. I keep wanting to get the bagel and lox and the ricotta pancake but have went back for the same thing both times. As well, I've had a couple of desserts. They were hit or miss for me. I had the lemon bar. The crust was amazing but the lemon (personal preference) I prefer more tart over being really sweet. The cheesecake was fairly good. The bagel the day I had it was very, very chewy and almost hard to eat (but still had great flavor). It's slightly loud which I don't mind. I worked here both times with no issues. I do plan to come back again."
"Great bakery! I've always heard great things about their cookies but I had to try. All the cookies came out soft and delectable, each very sweet. On top of that, on entering the establishment we were happily greeted and even assisted in making our decisions. Located within Westgate (during December) it's a great stop to stroll the entire area which was decorated for Christmas."
"I have passed this restaurant many times and finally visited recently. They were having a fundraiser for Palestine so of course I had to support. I placed an order online and set my pickup time for 45 minutes later. We wanted to try a variety of items since it was our first time trying this place. We got a lamb kabob entree, beef shawarma entree (entrees come with salad, hummus, rice and pita bread). We also got their falafel plate (6 pieces), chicken kabob wrap, cheese & zaatar flatbread, and a muhammara flatbread. I arrived and my order was in the process of being packed up.I'm glad I had a few minutes when I arrived because I was checking out their offers and the restaurant itself, which is nice with decent amount of seating. They have multiple tv screens that rotate through slides and one of them is a Ramadan special: free lentil soup and 3 piece sambusas with any entree order. I asked the friendly woman employee if I could get that added on to my order, and she was very gracious about it and asked one of the cooks to prepare the food in a timely manner, though I was fine waiting. We got the food home and had it for dinner. I enjoyed my chicken kabob wrap, lots of pickles which I love. The flatbreads were thin and I enjoyed eating them cold the next day. The hummus was delicious and the lamb kabob was good. The beef shawarma had a weird texture to it, not used to it so I'd probably pass on ordering it again. The falafel bites were tasty especially with the tahini sauce. And the sambusas were bite-size and filled with meat and veggie, good stuff. Lastly, I tried the lentil soup and it was nice, glad I got to taste it. Customer service was excellent here! Several people dining in, picking up orders, and the employee was handling it all like a champ. I recommend trying this restaurant and supporting a local business!"
"Date: Sunday, July 2nd, 2023Time: around 12:15pmReason: MacaronsI adore french macarons. Whenever I'm on vacay, I always search bakeries to see if there's a new place that sells them. (Well new to me.) I was having brunch down the street and decided to swing by here first to grab some treats. Unfortunately, I think this is a breakfast spot, so there were not a lot left. I believe I just grabbed one of each flavor and a coffee. The mini macarons were $2 each while the normal sized one - French Chocolate Macaron was $4.25.Texture wise, they had a slight chew. Tho they were very airy and crumbled / broke easily. I can't recall the flavors that day, but I think one of them was lemon which was probably my fav. I adore tart desserts / sweets.I read a lot of good things about their macarons. If I ever find myself in the area early, I'll definitely stop by to see if they have more of a selection then.REVIEW #3459"
"Is it the best bakery in Phoenix as several articles have highlighted? I don't quiet think so, but it is a good one. Ordered the following things (in order of best to least): bacon and egg + chicken pot pie mini pies, strawberry croissant (vegan), almond croissant. I definitely recommend the first three, but the almond croissant I've had better. Big plus to staff who was super friendly. Definitely would try one of their other locations to see if there's anything different."
"Omg their sugar cookies! The flavor is seriously addicting. It has just the right amount of sweetness, perfectly crunchy and topped with red sprinkles. Obsessed! I was actually sent a few from my work...so can't wait to try them in person! I'm sure they are even more bomb! They actually make the sugar colored in a bunch of fun holiday themes! Mine just came in a pretty flower."
"Fantastic cookies! Everything about them was delicious and amazing! First of all they are boxed beautifully and the cookies are bubble wrapped and protected so that when they arrive they are fresh and incredibly delicious! These would make a wonderful gift and the selection and ingredients are incredible. I highly recommend this wonderful company and it's obvious that these cookies are made with love."
"This place has a smaller selection of pan dulce than your usual panederia. However, that small selection consists of originals and unique ones that's I hadn't seen or tried. They had this concha with a strawberry fluffy cake inside of it. Wish I could have taken a picture of it but I inhaled it too quick. I also got one of them cream cheese and jalapeño stuffed pans and oooof, probably the best one I've ever tried. That crust is a must!"
"Amazing cakes. She always delivers. We have been using her for almost a decade now. Both of my children are born in January so we get two cakes every year for their birthday."
"The proof is in the bread. My brother is currently obsessed with all things baking, so visiting Proof while in Phoenix was a no-brainer. This sourdough bakery crafts gluten goodies on the daily. We arrived mid-day and Proof still had a variety of items available in the showcase: croissants, loafs, chunky cookies, and several pizzas.I grabbed a margarita pizza to-go and a iced vanilla latte with oat milk. The pizza was thicc, chewie, and topped with the juiciest tomatoes. Sourdough pizza is different than anything I've ever tasted and I can officially say I'm a fan.The latte was also tasty and packed the perfect caffeinated umph to the second half of my day. Proof sells a variety of non-baked items, including trendy mugs, almond butter, jam, vinegar, honey, coffee beans, etc. The perfect spot for a unique gift for your artisanal-loving-buddy."
"I asked for a cake of the Backers choice and for a boy Babyshower. Something simple and good. We were not disappointed!"
"You like Thai Tea? Then you need to get your bum down and rainbow and buy a cup! Have to admit, I'm a fan of bosa's donuts and breakfast sandwiches more than rainbow. Actually, I'm good with Rainbow'd donuts. It's the sausage breakfast sandwich I'll pass on. The sausage seems more like hot dog. But you want Thai tea .. This is your place!!!"
"Loved this place and wish we lived closer! Welcoming staff, interesting cuisine, delicious food, and incredibly affordable prices. My husband and I shared the spinach burek and the cevapi sandwich. We got a loaf of the rye bread to go. The breads are $3-4 and baked fresh daily. The meat in the cevapi was so tasty. The sauce it came with complemented it perfectly. Burek is the thing to get here, though! It was warm and just phenomenal. Keep in mind that they have a walk-in limit of 4 bureks. Bit of seating and the place itself is very casual, but most people got their orders to go."
"Vegan food never tasted so good - A meat eater. I ordered the Country Breakfast Burrito and it was filled with so much flavor from the peppers, onion, potatoes etc. it was soooo delicious! The hot sauce that comes with it is also perfect, very flavorful and definitely a kick to go with the burrito. So glad it didn't taste like water like other places that offer salsa/sauce to go with. Best part - my stomach didn't hurt after the filling/hearty breakfast (: I also ordered 2 donuts to go as well, I will update my review after they've been consumed but they look very promising! The staff I encountered was friendly and I had no issues ordering. There is seating both inside and outside of Nami. There is a beautiful mural on the building as pictured you can see when sitting outside. Being that it is Phx, the entrance to get to Nami can be tight and easy to miss if you don't pay attention to the turn into the restaurant. Definitely give this place a try even if you are unsure of the vegan options - their food is packed with tons of flavor."
"I used to take trips to California to visit friend's and to also swing by 85! I am loving all the asian places in the 99 Ranch plaza. I always fill up my tray with the Hot Dog Cheese bread. Warm it up and it tastes even better! My go to drink is the Sea Salt Jasmine Green Tea. But their seasonal drinks are always a hit. Recently loving the Taro Lavender Latte and the Matcha Mango Latte. They're so sweet and refreshing! Download the app and sign up for the rewards!"
