Best authentic Vietnamese food on the south side of Houston for sure! My favorite ever since I moved here in 1996.

I decided to try this place cause it was close in distance from where I was and I wanted to pick something up on my way home. I've had pho from a few places in the area and they're usually pretty good so I thought this place will probably be good too, I'll give it a try. This place was NOT good and I was really disappointed. I ordered something simple cause I knew they were gonna close soon so I ordered a small meatball pho and I noticed I couldn't smell that aroma that usually has me drooling on my drive home to eat. I thought oh no, something's wrong, and I was right. It didn't have much flavor and they literally only gave me a meatball and a half. They're super stingy with how much they give. I also ordered a thai tea and I was surprised at how small the cup was so I asked how much it was...$4.50!!! Thank goodness I asked them over the phone to not add ice cause I would have gotten what, only 2 sips out of it? AND even as small as the cup was it wasn't all the way filled. Wow. It wasn't good either! Very bitter. Pork spring rolls and peanut sauce were just meh too. Pork was really dry and felt like jerky. Boo

I've been loyal to a sweet Vietnamese place down the road but decided to venture out since they no longer offer tofu in their pho. I had no idea what a difference there could be in pho's. My pho broth was soooooo rich and flavorful. The tofu was cooked perfectly and the herbs were crisply fresh. My son loved his pork dish. Service was quick upon entering and our food arrived promptly but no one came by to check on us which for today was ok because everything was absolutely perfect. I am excited to return to try their totally vegetarian pho (carrots and broccoli) as well as their other tofu dishes!

Really authentic and savory pho restaurant. It was packed on a weekday so you know its good. Cute interior with friendly staff and fast service. What more could you ask for! I got the number 4 with tripe added. Super comforting.

I wish I took a picture of the food before I demolished it . This is a hidden gem when it comes to food and is very cost friendly. The service is excellent. The ambiance is family friendly . This spot has much to offer. It gives a home feeling with a home cooked meal.

I'm glad we stopped in. We wanted a quick bite and they were open late. Food: the food is really good. I got shaken beef and my girl got pho. I think this was my second time trying pho ever and it was real good. The shaken beef is cook to perfection! Really good and full of flavor. The fried rice was good too. The egg was good. Not well done but good. They missed that part. The egg rolls were really good too. The service is fast and good. They paying in the front situation is a lagging. You may find yourself there waiting for a few minutes before anyone acknowledges you. Other than that this is a 5 star Review all day. The food is excellent.

I was recommended to come here by my hairdresser, who is just about down the street from here. She recommended the com chien bo luc lac, which honestly did not disappoint at all! I've already gotten that dish from here twice: once for in-person dining, and once to-go. I highly recommend this dish to anyone. There's not a lot of super great bo luc lac dishes that I've tried in Houston, so this is definitely at the type. The flavor is so good, and the fried rice with it was also delicious.Service was pretty fast when I dined it. I felt like it didn't take too long for the dish to come out. It's definitely a very casual vibe here. I will definitely be making this my food stop, every time I come see my hairdresser now.

I've lived in the area for darn near a decade and never attempted to visit this place until one Saturday night I was on a date with a really cute guy who recommended it. He wanted to take me to Pho Vi Vi on Beamer, but since they had weird hours of closing early on the weekend and we wanted to stay in the area, he brought me here. Upon entering the restaurant, the temperature was very cold. The restaurant was semi-packed with people eating. I ordered my favorite pairings: tofu vermicelli bowl with tofu spring rolls. He ordered the pho. The food did not take long to come out, but when it did, it was hot. The vermicelli bowl was flavorful and came with all of the fixings. The tofu itself wasn't seasoned, but that was okay since I added some sriracha and some hoisin sauce to spice it up. The spring rolls were delicious and the peanut sauce wasn't too runny, but thick. The staff did not speak much, but they were still polite. My date mentioned that his meal was yummy and that he liked the broth. The restaurant is clean, smells nice, and the ambiance is modern. There's plenty of parking out front.
